We've had a visitor today!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It was a bit nippy this morning, well, the heating hadn't turned on yet and it was only three forty five.

What are we doing up at that time I hear you ask? It was The Missus's fault, she got in a panic. There she was, snoring her head off, as usual, when she heard, in between snores, a small scratching sound.

On goes the bedside lamp and there is Miss Snowflake trying to scramble up the side of the bed!

Seems like she gave her cage door a good rattle and found that Old Two Legs hadn't fully locked it last night after the late night lick of Ferretone and a cuddle!

Why TM was getting all panicky we shall never know, I mean, as Snowflake said, 'She was only sleep walking'!

Well, TM got up to think about another project and we went back to sleep!

We were woken up again by TM wanting us to take her up to the village hall for another of her 'Master Classes', well, it keeps her busy!

Down on the beach, the tide was coming in but it hadn't reached the shore yet so both ferrets scrambled out over the rocks for their morning wee!

Now, where is the Wee'ing Rock?

Miss Snowflake was able to find her rock but on the way back she spotted that the water was a bit deeper than when she went out!

This looks dangerous!

With a big jump, she landed back on the beach and headed for OTL's leg, she was on a mission!

Here I come!

She was back in the ferret bag in a flash!

On the way back home we stopped off at the village hall to wait for our visitor and before long Maisie arrived!

We all had a sniff and headed off back home!

OTL cooked up a super chicken meal and we all enjoyed a warm, greasy meal!

We had a snooze, just to let it all go down then we were off for another walk on the Sea Front.

Holly and I showed Maisie all the sniffs.

There's a better sniff over here!

Maisie was excited about the sniffs 'cos there was loads of 'Sea Sniffs' she doesn't get at home!

This is one I found earlier!

 Maisie was very interested in the Wormy Men and kept asking why they didn't sink in the mud.

Is the mud softer that this?

 Then she kept looking at every one who passed us and asked, 'Is he a Wormy Man?'

Is that one?

We had a great time and back in the car park we all got our paws cleaned and Holly got her butt washed with the wipes OTL keeps in the car for such occasions!

Maisie was intrigued by the camera and was wondering what OTL was doing, all this clicking got her puzzled.

'ere, I can see myself!'

We explained that she would appear on the blog tonight, so she is going to ask if she can see it when she gets home!

It wasn't too long before we had to say bye bye to Maisie and  OTL headed off to the village hall to take Maisie back and bring TM home!

Tonight OTL has got curry, so we are hoping for a lick of the Naan Bread after he has dipped it in the gravy!

A North Wind and Didn't it Rain!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

We had some wind and rain last night, it even woke Old Two Legs up, which was good 'cos he was in dream mode and he always talks in his sleep when he is dreaming, last night he was chasing delivery of some important stuff and he was not happy 'cos it had been delayed!

He does show off sometimes!

During the night the rain was bashing against the window and the wind was blowing as well. It's a good job OTL had all the trees cut down or they may have fallen on the caravan!

When it was time for our morning walk, it was still raining and OTL decided to bring our rain coats and leave the camera!

We got dressed and headed for the car, it was still raining!

When we got down to the car park, OTL put our leads on us and the ferrets and off we went. The ferrets in their carry bag, all snug and warm and Holly and me dragging our paws trying to decide if we should carry on or go back to the car.

That's why OTL put the leads on us, just so we could be dragged, protesting, behind him!

When we got to the place where we chase rabbits, the rain sort of disappeared and it was just the wind blowing.

OTL let us off the lead and we headed for the beach!

Both ferrets got out of the bag, climbed a rock, had a wee and scampered back to the bag!

They were thrown out again when we got to the grassy bit and then they headed back to the car,  sniffing the sniffs all the way back!

This morning has been spent snoozing and watching the decorator men but after a while it gets a bit boring slapping glue on the walls and sticking bits of paper on the wall as well, Holly said they should try the glitter stuff The Missus uses, at least then she won't have to spend all that time clearing it up after she has been 'Creative'!

Lunchtime it was all damp looking and we weren't sure if it was going to rain or not but when we got to the car park the clouds were flying off out to sea, just like the ship that was zoooming out to sea!

Zoom Zooom!

 The Wormy Man out on the mud was looking around for the worms but they had all gone Zoooming off!

Where's those Zoooming Worms?

 Another sight was the Curlew who was having the same problem, no worms 'cos they seemed to have zooomed off as well

This is a zoooming problem!

 Holly and I were having a game on the beach and were zooming up and down, well, everyone was doing some zooming so we decided to have a zoom as well!

Then, on The Sea Wall, there was a woofer we had seen before but couldn't remember his name! He came down onto the beach and we all had a sniff!

Holly was having a chat with him and telling him all about our coats and how warm the Flying Jackets were and how good the Rain Coats were. Seems he doesn't have a coat and he asked how he could get one.

Come on, how do I get a Coat?

 Holly told him that it was OTL who got our coats so he went over to OTL and said.......

Gissa Coat Mister?

 OTL said he should write a letter to Santa Paws and ask him to leave one under the Christmas Tree!

We all had a game on the beach and then headed back home. The wind was still blowing but the rain had gone so we didn't mind being out without our coats!

Not sure what OTL has for dinner tonight but we've got Doggy Scoff, the Classy stuff and what ever we can mug off OTL or The Missus!

Tomorrow we have got a visitor, young Maisie will be visiting so there is going to be fun on the beach while her Two Legs is at TM's Master Class slapping the Glue & Glitter about!

It's another Sunny Day.

Hi Ho Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

The decorator men were early today 'cos they are starting on the wallpapering. So, that means we all had to be up early as well. Not that would worry us woofers 'cos as soon as Old Two Legs and The Missus got up, we went back to sleep again!

OTL decided that it was a bit colder and a bit windy as well and the 'Wind Chilly Factor'  would come into play, so that means our 'Flying Jackets' were got out!

It was fun getting them put on 'cos Holly and I were still in 'Snoozy Mode' and didn't want to stand up to have them put on us. So, instead, OTL had to get them both on 'Floppy Puppies'!

Mind you, once we had got outside the front door we were bouncing along and looking forward to our walk!

I'm ready for some Zoooming!

Down on the beach OTL was trying to catch the sunrise again and we think that yesterdays was better but he has to work with what he sees!

It's Morning Again!

 We think that yesterdays was so much more colourful!

Mind you, that didn't stop Miss Snowflake heading off to the 'Wee'ing Rock'! 

Your Peeking!

After she had finished she wanted to get back into the bag again but OTL said she had to have a run and anyway she had a 'Grubby Nose' !

OTL wipe my Nose?

In the end OTL had to pick her up and give her nose a wipe to get the mud off.

Then she scrambled into the Ferret Bag and stayed there until we got off the beach!

While this was going on, I had found a really smelly bit of beach where a crab had been opened up and used for breakfast by a gull, so I had a roll!

A Real Smelly Roll!

I really do love a roll!

Back home we had some of that 'Classy Scoff', Holly finished hers off straight away but I decided I would save mine until after our lunchtime walk.

We met up with Mrs Corvid who was on the beach looking for her lunch. She said she had found a couple of whelks and a couple of fishy bits but nothing  'really exciting'!

It's Lunch Time

 I was lucky, we met up with the 'Scruff Bags' and their TL offered me a nibble. I wasn't too sure if I was going to like it but the way they kept on rushing up and taking it made me agree to have a nibble!

Shall I or Shan't I? Decisions, Decisions!

 Surprisingly, Holly decided not to have a nibble and wandered off to have a wee, which was most unusual for her, refusing a nibble, not having a wee!

Back home the decorator men were working well and Holly decided that she would keep an eye on them, so she got up onto the sofa to watch them and at the same time browsed the 'Paint Chart' to see if there were any bone colours that would look good on the wallpaper!

This colour Chart is so tiring!

 So, that was it really, I fell asleep under OTL's desk and Holly snoozed amongst the dust sheets!

Can't get better than that!

A Good Day for Working, except for us!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

You know there are days when things happen to remind you that you have to do some work!

Well, for Old Two Legs and The Missus and the Decorator Men but not for us woofers!

Holly and I woke up on OTL's bed, you know it is so good being able to stretch out after TM and OTL get up!

We were out early and saw a super sunrise over Sheerness and we were expecting high winds as part of this 'Weather Bomb' that is happening up in Scotland.

What did we get?

Nuffin!

Wot? No Bomb?

 Both Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles tried to get back into the bag but ended up having to walk!

I really don't do Mornings!

 Back home we had a tasty bowl of Lambs Heart and retired to our cushions for a snooze.

The Decorator Men were banging and crashing about, which disturbed our snoozing!

In the end we had to get in with OTL and then get him to close the office door!

As lunchtime approached OTL started getting out his kit of tools, a sure sign he is off to do some work!

Yep! It wasn't long before he headed off towards the Dustbin Lorries leaving us to visit TM in the caravan working away on the Christmas Cards!

We went out for a walk with TM over The Farm and caught up on the sniffs!

Then we enjoyed a snooze until OTL got back, all smelly like!

Now we are off to mug him for some of his dinner, so, bye bye for now!

The Decorator Man is Here and Snowflake is Naughty!

Hi Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

The Missus was up early this morning, moving her card stuff back into the caravan so there is space for the Decorator Man to do his work on the lounge and dinning room/TM Workstation!

Holly and I were going to get up and give her a hand but in the end we decided to have a cuddle with Old Two Legs and finish of our night Time Sleep!

When it was time to go out for our run, OTL put our 'Flying Jackets' on us and I must say, his work with the needle and twine has worked out a treat! The jacket is a snug fit and my legs stay in the jacket when I run!

Zooming, Just like Super Sid!

 It was so good that when I got onto the beach, I had another Zoom!

Daring Daisy Coming Into Land, Zooooom!

 While I was doing my Zooming, Miss Snowflake was hiding behind her 'Wee'ing Rock'!

Can't See Me!

 After everything was finished, she challenged Brambles to a race, of course, she won!

Come on, Race you to The Bag!

She can be a sneaky ferret sometimes!

When we got home she was let loose, as normal, while Mr Brambles had his breakfast and OTL cleaned out the Poo Trays.

Normally Snowflake goes rushing off to TM's card room or has a good ferret under OTL's bed or even scurries downstairs to rampage around the lounge.

Not today, she had disappeared!

OTL was doing his jobs and noticed that she wasn't rushing from room to room as normal. So, when he had finished the cleaning, he went looking for her!

She was nowhere to be seen.

Mr B was wandering around, sort of lost, 'cos she normally chases him and they go tearing around all over the place, but today, nothing!

Then OTL heard a rustling of paper coming from the office.

There, on the desk top, with her head inside a big Jiffy Bag was Miss Snowflake!

Here! Look Wot I Found!

Archie Babe had sent down a Christmas Present for us all and OTL had left it in the bag, but put it up on the desk so no one could find it.

Snowflake did!

What's more, she opened one packet that had play balls inside, just the sort of thing she loves, and she was playing with them!

In fact, she had already taken two out and 'Stashed' them in her 'Hidy Hole' where she stashes all he secret stuff!

She was working on getting the third ball out, killing it, and then heading for the Hidy Hole when OTL told her off!

He said it was not the done thing to go opening the presents 'cos they may not be for her!

This is Great!

She said she was sorry and promised not to do it again.

We don't believe her and nor does OTL!

We know that 'cos OTL has put the Jiffy Bag away in the cupboard where she can't get it!

Lunchtime the frost had all gone and we got sunshine, but it was still chilly, but we left our jackets at home, well, we didn't want to do any more flying today thank you!

When we got back home, the decorators said they had something to show us. It seems that there was a message on one of the walls from many many years ago!

Now OTL says that there is nothing wrong with punting around for new business, but leaving it for ten years is a bit of bad planning!

We Woof at a Bozo and a Bozo Woofs Back!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It's all happening down here at Woofer Mansion!

We were up at the normal time this morning and I woke Old Two Legs up with a really good ear licking!

Once I knew he was properly awake, I then started on The Missus!

She doesn't take long to wake up 'cos she always wakes up dreaming of new cards!

Down on the beach it was still windy and cold but not cold enough for frost, which is good as far as we are concerned!

No Frost but still Chilly!

Miss Snowflake found her rock again and used it just like she likes to use it!

However, when Mr Brambles tried to sneak a quick wee on the rock Snowflake told him off!

She said that only she could use that rock and in future he was to find his own Wee'ing Rock!

That's Mine! Go Find Your Own Rock!

Back home we had some of our Classy Scoff and settled down to a snooze in the office while OTL was playing with bits of paperwork!

Boring or Wot?

You know we both had to give OTL a good woofing to get his attention and get him to take us out!

We met up with a Two Legs who was sitting on a bench, she called us by our names and called us over to have a stroke but as Holly says...............'No Food, No Strokes!'

Told You Before, No Food, No Strokes!

The tide was right in and the wind blowing in off the sea, that made it rather colder than this morning and on top of that, the waves were crashing onto the Sea Wall and splashing over the wall!

Cold and Wet!

We stayed well away from the wet!

Holly and I were having a sniff when a little Bozo of a woofer came along the wall and woofed at me to 'Clear Off'!

I wasn't having any of that, especially as my sister was creeping up behind this Bozo!

When Holly let out a big WOOF, this Bozo nearly jumped out of his fur!

Then he ran off!

 That was it, the last we saw was a Bozo's tail disappearing over the hill at top speed!

We saw Sid flying about and he called out that he had his Formation Flying Team out on the sea and would we have a look at then doing a 'Fly Past'!

Holly called back that we would sit up on the hill to watch and then the show started.

There was Zooming in 'Line Astern' and 'Side By Side'  and then the 'Line Astern Diving' which was terribly fast!

Then to finish off the did a 'Fly Past' in Gliding Mode!

All the way back to the car Holly was running from side to side and calling out 'Zoom Zoom'!

She can be a right 'Soppy Puppy' some times!

Tomorrow we are expecting the decorators to start working, so we are going to put our toys away and TM is moving all her card making stuff back into the caravan!

Warmer, Wetter, Windier and Dead Mans Fingers!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Well, we had a really lazy morning, we didn't wake up until seven fifteen!

Seriously Lazy!

Even the ferrets had a lie in as well!

Down on the Sea Wall we noticed it was a bit warmer than yesterday, no frost!

On the beach we decided that just for a change, we would dig a hole each!

My Holes Going to be Better Than Yours!

Miss Snowflake headed off to her favourite rock for a wee! She said that she would give it a name so that no one else could use it!

I name This Rock, The Weeing Rock!

Mr Brambles dug a hole and afterwards headed over to Old Two Legs and asked to be picked up for a cuddle!

Pick me up Daddy?

Of course, OTL picked him up and as Miss Snowflake was chasing OTL up the beach, he headed off to the Sea Wall!

That gave her a bit of exercise!

When we got back home, The Missus was itching to get out 'cos she was off to a Craft Shop, so it was a quick bye bye and off she went in the little car!

OTL prepared our Lambs Liver and Holly was straight in, Nose Down and Tail Up until it had all gone!

I had some but left for later on!

Lunchtime we were down the beach again had to drive through a rain shower and were worried that it was following us!

Luckily enough it passed us and we headed off to see what the fishermen were doing.

Nothing!

All the fish were out to sea and the worms said they were getting really bored crawling around the bucket!

Busy Doing Nothing!

 TM was out for most of the afternoon so we retired to bed for a well earned snooze while OTL watched the TV and of course, he fell asleep!

Back to work tomorrow, so we left him snoozing!

Now, a bit of information for you all, remember those Black Fungi OTL photographed? Well, after much searching through his 'Fungi Guide' we found out they were called 'Dead Man's Fingers', the Latin name was much longer and unpronounceable! 

The other thing we found out was, it's rather common! The book did say that while not uncommon, it was difficult to spot!

So, OTL didn't feel too bad about not seeing it before!

Saturday with OTL!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

Wot a sunny day today! Mind you, it was blooming cold! We also had a breeze blowing in off the North Sea, so that didn't help either!

You know what? There was the first frost of Winter on the ground this morning!

Miss Snowflake was trying to have a wee while balancing on a rock but she ended up slipping too far backwards and ended up with a wet butt!

I Gotta Wet & Soggy Botty!

Holly and I were glad we had our 'Flying Jackets' on, it helps to keep us warm.

Except, when I start to run and the jacket slips around a bit and I end up with one leg poking out of the wrong hole!

Old Two Legs said that he would sew up the elasticated neck bit and that should stop me 'Putting my Paw in it'!

OTL says he will fix it!

Back home we had some Classy Doggy Scoff that The Missus had left for us, Holly was looking to have mine as well as hers but OTL shut her out of the kitchen while I had mine!

Tonight we may get some more unless we can mug OTL for his dinner!

It was still cold and sunny at lunchtime but we decided that we could do without our coats!

We chased a couple of rabbits but had no chance of catching them, but it kept us warm!

We were walking along the Sea Wall when there was a loud scream and Sid The Seagull came zooming past us!

Hello Girlie's!

He said he was having some fun doing flying tricks while he was waiting for the tide to go out!

We sat and watched him for a while and woofed with delight when he did a double loop, backwards!

Then he said he was off to the football pitch to see if anyone had left any food there!

Bye Girlie's, see you again soon!

Back home we had a very pleasant snooze while OTL was doing some stuff and making a noise in his office.

TM came home after her Glue Slapping day up at the Village Hall, all worn out, as usual!

So, we expect she will be sleeping as soon as she has had dinner!

Not sure how cold it will be tomorrow but we will be ready, our Flying Jackets are sorted 'cos OTL has been busy with the needle and cotton! You know, he would make some one a lovely seamstress!

We were glad to hear from Lucy yesterday and how well she is doing!

So we're all keeping our claws crossed for her, and her mum as well!

OTL Finds a New Fungi and We Spot a Squirrel!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

First thing this morning it was all grey and damp, in fact Old Two Legs didn't even take his camera with him!

Miss Snowflake decided that getting back in the bag was the best option but she had to put up with a cuddle on OTL's arm!

That was it, she said that she might as well get down and go sniffing!

So she did!

OTL spent all morning getting some stuff 'out' for one of his customers who was all in a panic!

Holly and I got Doggy Scoff, not the normal rubbish, this one was Chicken with some rice and other stuff like peas and carrots and other stuff that didn't taste too bad!

Holly and I finished that off and retired to our beds for a snooze until lunchtime.

OTL had done all his stuff and now it was down to the carrier to get it all shipped off and of course that means we just had to visit The Forest!

Come on, let's hunt Squirrel!

We set off sniffing and hunting and searching for squirrels while OTL went hunting fungi. We were sploshing and squelching through the mud when OTL suddenly said 'Look, a New Fungi'!

There, on top of a stump, growing out of the moss, the most odd looking fungi. OTL said he hadn't seen one like this before and he was going to look it up in his 'Fungi Book' tonight.

Strange or wot!

Of course, OTL was clicking away and finally he stopped and headed off down the path.

Then he stopped, and looked at trunk that had been chopped down.

There, sitting amongst the moss, fungi!

Now this looked like the other fungi but not grown yet!

Another one for him to look for tonight!

Is it related?

Holly and I headed off looking for squirrels, well, lets face it, you can't chase fungi!

I think I see a Squirrel!

I Did! I saw a squirrel scamper through the undergrowth and then shot up a tree trunk and it sat on a branch chattering at us!

Nah! Nah! Nah!

I said that maybe we should try climbing up and chase him out of the tree!

Climb up there? Your on your own Sis!

Holly came up with another super idea, 'Let's sit on a log, be very quiet and just wait for a squirrel to pass by!'

How long have we got to wait?

We sat there for a while and there was no passing squirrel to interest us! OTL was still scrabbling around in the undergrowth looking for more fungi.

We were watching him and Holly called out, 'Look above you!'

Another Bracket type Fungi!

Looks very nice and the bright light was hidden by the tree trunk so the fungi wasn't dried out!

Back home for a snooze until dinner time when we are expecting The Missus to serve up another helping of the Classy Doggy Scoff!

We have tomorrow to look forward to, TM is off to her Master Class and we got all day with OTL!

Loads of Fun!

We heard that Lucy was in for another session, so we are sending licks and woofs to her and hope she is feeling better soon!

A Damp Doggy Day!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Wot a Yucky Day today! Grey skies, misty, cold damp rain and on top of all that, Holly has a Grumbly Tum again!

You would have thought by now that the stuff she shoved her nose into on the beach is not good for you, especially the dead crabs and other bits that turn up!

So, she has been on the sofa for most of the day looking sad and dejected! Except when it's time for a walk and she brightens up!

The morning walk was all damp and drizzle, Miss Snowflake came out of the ferret bag for a quick wee then was back in like a streak of lightening!

I think we were all grateful to get back to the car, and that includes Old Two Legs as well!

Lunchtime we had some stuff to deliver and OTL suggested The Forest again but Holly said she wasn't in 'Forest Mood' so, instead of turning right, we turned left and headed towards the Riverside Park!

It was not the most inspiring walk 'cos we were walking in puddles most of the time and on top of that a big Bozo Staffy type of woofer rushed up to OTL and gave him a severe woofing!

Not that OTL worried too much 'cos he could see that the woofer was just putting on a big show and was really a bit unsure about OTL 'cos he is rather tall and didn't make any bad moves, like running away like wot we did!

Let's clear off while he eats OTL!

There was not a great deal to wave the camera at but OTL found a drip of water rather fascinating, so he took a picture of that!

 Then, carried away with his success, he crept up on a bit of moss on a branch, and he took another photograph!

What ever turns you on!

Then, all the stuff delivered, we headed for home again and both Holly and I were glad OTL had brought our Doggy Towel along 'cos the water makes our hair wet and on a day like today, it is cold as well!

So, a good rub down and snuggle up to the car heater is the only way for us to ride home!

Let's hope tomorrow will be drier and maybe just a little sun shine!
