Working at installing The Fridge!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

It has been a super sunny day here in North Kent, a little chilly first thing this morning, so that means the ferrets just poked their noses over the top of the Ferret Bag, then went back to sleep again!

I think we'll stay here thank you!
When Old Two Legs emptied them out of the bag they just stood there for a couple of minutes wondering where they were!

I don't know, I haven't got the map!
It wasn't long before Mr Brambles headed up the beach and Miss Snowflake headed for the sea weed!

Holly and I said 'Hello' to The Lads, Max, Oscar and Bryn then headed back to the car.

Snowflake had miss judged the sea weed and landed with her tail in the water!

Brambles kept telling he just how muddy it was!

You really need to get that tail to the cleaners!
Back home we all got prepared for the new fridge to be delivered, OTL moved all the furniture around and put the bins out in the garden.

Holly and I headed off to the bedroom so we can watch out for the delivery truck and to woof at the men for not being earlier!

Now OTL did something he doesn't normally do, He Read The Instructions!

Well, not exactly read, more like look at the pictures!

When he was looking for the fridge on the Internet, he read the 'Comments'  left by other people who had purchased one in the past. One Two Legs said that the installer took nearly fifty minutes to install the fridge and they thought it was rather a long time to install a fridge!

OTL took four hours!

He had just started to install it when Holly and I suggested we have a walk first, just to help him relax before going to work on the installation.

Down on the beach the tide had just turned and was heading out again. I fancied a swim but OTL said I couldn't 'cos he hadn't brought our towel with him today!

Go on, just a paddle?
To help get over my disappointment, I dug a really deep hole and said that I could see a Yellow Filter at the bottom!

OTL didn't think that was funny!

Guess Wot I See?
While OTL wasn't looking, I ran down the beach to the waters edge and sort of slipped into the water, just a little bit, up to my tummy!

Honest, the water chased me up the beach!
OTL didn't believe me!

As we got near to the car park, Holly and I rushed off to the Rabbit Hunting Ground and had a great time!

OTL called us to follow him but we were having too much fun! Finally, Holly ran off to find OTL but I stayed behind and in the end OTL had to come and fetch me.

I was in trouble!

You can tell when I'm in trouble, OTL puts the lead on me and I'm not allows to go and investigate any sniffs on the way to the car!

I'm in trouble!
Back home we found Auntie Angela had arrived to play Gas & Glitter!

OTL went to work and four hours later, after loads of 'Sarky' comments from The Missus and Angela, he finally finished it, just in time for dinner!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

OTL 'Engineers' the Door Off!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Today is the day that Old Two Legs has to get the fridge out from the units in the kitchen and then he has to take the door off as well!

It has been worrying him 'cos as much as he has looked at the bits between the cover and the fridge door, he still can't work out how it comes off!

You know, he has even been on YouTube looking for information but what he has seen looks nothing like wot we got!

We were up early today and down the beach, the clouds looked rather dramatic but guess what? No Yellow Filter, so it is colour this time, just for Michael!

Could have done with a Yellow Filter this morning!
Miss Snowflake was in a good mood, she sort of 'Fell' out of the bag and was first into the Sea Weed. She said that she could sniff a 'Big Slimy Monster' under one rock but we think she was trying to wind Mr Brambles up 'cos he doesn't like the thought of Monsters under the rocks!

Guess Wot I Sniff?
After the beach it was back to the car as quickly as possible. Brambles said he was 'Starving' and was in need of some more doggy biscuits, providing there were any left after Holly and I had our fill last night!

Come on, before they get back and eat some more!
Back home there was some 'Manufacturing' to be done so OTL didn't have a chance to investigate the fridge door, but he did get down his tool kit and a couple of torches so he can peer into the void between the cover and the door!

Lunchtime came and of course, there we were down the beach again and guess wot?

Yep! He forgot it again! Only this time there were loads of fluffy clouds up in the sky that would have looked great by being seen through a Yellow Filter!

Another one for Michael!
Holly and I kept on asking if he had a filter with him and I was digging in the sand and saying that I had found a Yellow Filter, and then saying 'No, it's only the sand'!

Look! A Yellow Filter!
Next I pretended to bury the filter at the bottom of the hole I was digging.

OTL was 'Not Amused'!

I'll hide the filter here!
Holly said that while I was doing that, she would start working on her tan and 'Get a Few Rays' and would OTL think it would look good behind a Yellow Filter?

Do you think a Yellow Filter would improve my tan?
We didn't hang about too much 'cos OTL still needs to investigate the fridge door!

Holly and I had a look for rabbits from the table while OTL rubbed the sand off our back and off my nose!

I see no rabbits!
Holly was up on the table as well and was looking at the Rabbit Hunting Ground but didn't spot a thing!

Holly said that she would put up with a cat, just to get some exercise but there was nothing!

I'd even chase a cat!
Back home we gathered at the kitchen door to watch the fun.

First of all OTL took the 'Kick Board' out and spotted there was a pile of dust and crumbs underneath! It was obvious that the board hadn't been removed since the kitchen was put in!

Well, the fridge door came off at the hinges and then the fridge was removed and 'stored' in the garden.

Then the fun began. OTL brought the door into the lounge, sat down on a foot stood and set about twiddling screws and poking holes with a small screw driver!

Then he levered the door seal to one side and found a series of screws that if you 'Screwed them In' the door cover started to look like it was going to fall off!

So, by careful screwing and turning of the door they finally fell apart and OTL was left with four strange looking screws and some plastic 'Locking Cam Screws' (It's a technical description!)

So, clever OTL has got it all ready for tomorrow when the new fridge comes.

Now that's going to be fun watching him install that!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back with you again!

Super sunny day today, just a little chilly this morning and for a change, neither of the ferrets wanted to get out of the bag before we got to the beach.

At one point, Mr Brambles stuck his head out the top of the bag and asked.................

..............are we there yet?
Once on the beach, Snowflake headed off to the sea weed and had a scamper about around the rocks then in and out of the the sea weed!

After which, she announced that....

....this will be fun in the Summer!
Mind you, Mr Brambles was still complaining about the steps, this time he thinks he has come up with a solution, a Stair Lift!

He reckons that if he wins the lottery, he is going to buy a mobile stair lift to carry him up the stairs instead of climbing up on his own.

Snowflake suggested trying to pull a flanker and pretend he has a sore paw so Old Two Legs feels sorry for him then picks him up and carries him up the stairs!

What I need is a Stair Lift!
Half way back towards the car, both ferrets had a roll in something in the weeds, it was so good that Brambles even rolled onto his back while Snowflake was trying to get her nose into the sniff in the leaves!

Get up Soppy!
Back home we were served up with a new 'Doggy Scoff', the one OTL bought at the Doggy Shop.

Can't say I'm over impressed with it, still, let's see what it's like this evening after it has had time to dry out a bit!

Lunchtime we got out of the car and ran into a gigantic 'Woofing Doodle Dog!'

It's owner had great difficulty in holding him back but OTL said the Doodle Dog wasn't dangerous 'cos all the time he was woofing at us, his tail was wagging!

Well, we could have told him that!

A Woofing Noisy Doodle Dog!
OTL wasn't too happy 'cos when he looked up into the sky, there were clouds that could have made a good picture in B&W but OTL just didn't have the Yellow Filter with him today!

Where is a Yellow Filter when you need one?
Holly and I didn't care really 'cos we both had fun digging a big hole in the sand. Holly said that if we made it deep enough, tomorrow when we come back it would have turned into a paddling pool!

We just LOVE holes!
The only problem with sand holes is that you end up with sand everywhere. It gets up your nose, in your eyes and all over your back! Plus the stuff that sticks in between the pads on your paws!

Holly and I have a solution to that, we stand up on the bench and OTL gives us a good brush down so that all the sand falls off!

OK, all the sand has gone now!
Back home again and just in time for a snooze before 'Mugging Time'!

Tomorrow OTL has got to take the old fridge out, ready for the new one to arrive on Wednesday. It should be great fun 'cos he has got to work out how to get the door off and remove the front of it 'cos it matches the doors in the kitchen.

This is going to be fun 'cos he has no idea how to do it!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

St David's Day!

Shwmae Woofers!

Happy St David's Day!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here with you again!

We thought we would show off with our knowledge of the Welsh language seeing as we are heading down to South West Wales for our next holiday!

We know that 'I need to go for a walk' is 'dw i angen i fynd am dro!', That is a very important phrase!

There are many others, like, 'Not Doggy Scoff Again' or 'Wake up OTL!' but we are working on them!

Now, today, Sunday, it was sunny down on the Sea Front. While Old Two Legs was getting the ferrets sorted out we went for our normal sniff around the rubbish that has been left by the Two Legs, nothing terribly interesting!

Just the normal rubbish!
We met up with Barney 2, he's a Doodle Dog who gets so excited when he sees OTL and of course, because he gets like that he is never let off the lead!

Poor lad, he has got learn a bit of restraint or he'll never get let off the lead!

Bye Bye Barney!
It was getting near to High Tide, in about an hour it will be all the way in. All OTL needed was a bit of Dramatic Cloud and he would be a Happy Puppy, but it was an almost clear blue sky!

Maybe he should have fitted the Red Filter!

All we need is a few clouds!
Mr Bramble went off exploring amongst the sea weed and was having fun until he realised that the sea was coming in and he was going to get stuck on the rocks!

Gissa Lift OTL?
Back home we all had a game of 'Chase' around the house and the ferrets were doing what they normally do, Rampaging!

Of course, after a while we all find a place to snooze. Snowflake got under the baskets in The Missus's store room and fell asleep there until OTL managed to wake her up by squeezing her squeaky toy!

After a snooze it suddenly was Lunchtime, just in time for a walk!

We headed back to the Sea Wall 'cos at the weekend there are loads of  TL's down there playing on the beach and Holly and I just love to watch them!

There were a few TL's today and some woofers as well!

The first lot, dog walking and taking photos!
Then when we got to the number nine steps, there were some more TL's and a noisy little woofer!

Do you Have to make So Much Noise?
Holly and I got onto our favourite bit of the beach and dug a whopping big hole while OTL had a chat to a TL.

Of course, we just had to have a rest afterwards!

That was one big hole!
Heading back to the car we came across a Bozo Labrador flaked out on the ground by the bench and seat. You know what? He didn't even get up for a sniff when we walked past!

Look, a Bozo!
We decided that he had been doing too much running about and was too tired to even say 'Hello'!

Unlike a little Jack Russel type who we had met before. He woofed and sniffed and woofed again then we all had a chat about sniffs on the path. We pointed out a couple of sniffs worth investigating up by the Poo Bin, then we were off to the car park.

.....and just behind the bin by the Fish & Chip Box.........
Back home we had some Lambs Heart and finished it off with a snooze, well Holly was snoozing while I was playing on the computer researching some more Welsh phrases that may come in useful when we are away on holiday!

So, bye bye for now and see you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

The Weekend is Here!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Well, we woke up this morning looking for the sunshine and what did we see?

Grey clouds!

Still, it wasn't raining, so off we all went to The Beach! Just around the corner from the car park there is a bin for all the rubbish the Two Legs want to get rid of. Trouble is, a lot of them are too lazy to walk to the bin and they throw all their rubbish into the grass or leave it on the beach.

Mucky Two Legs!

No Rubbish but a couple of Sniffs that were interesting!
The ferrets got out for a wee and we chased around looking for rabbits! Then we continued on and Old Two Legs was showing off 'cos the sky wasn't 'Dramatic' enough for B&W and his new filter!

Dramatic? Nah, Boring Grey!
The ferrets got emptied out of their bag and onto the beach, poor thing had gone back to sleep in their nice warm bag!

OK, Very Funny, Now put us back!
We met up with The Lads, Max, Oscar and Byrn but while I was having a chat, Holly legged it down the Sea Wall to say hello to a big old Staffy that she fancies!

The ferrets soon got warmed up again and enjoyed a 'Ferret' through the long grass and before we realised it, we were back at the car and heading home!

Holly and I had our breakfast, Chicken & Biscuits, and then headed our to our favourite snoozing place, OTL's bed!

The ferrets did their 'Thing' and rampaged around the house getting into mischief and pinching the doggy biscuits in our 'Nibble Bowl'!

It wasn't too long before they also decided that a snooze would be a good idea!

I just Love Snoozing!
Holly and I were given a Rawhide Chew yesterday and it's great fun sitting under OTL's desk have a really good gnaw!

Life don't get much better!

Lunchtime came and for once OTL managed to get a bite to eat before we went out!

It was just as 'Undramatic' as this morning and even a Yellow Filter couldn't change it at all!

Still not dramatic enough!
Well, that was until we heard a lot of shouting behind us and there, curling its way through the bushes was a load of smoke from a garden fire that was getting out of control!

Looking better!
Then it all went quiet as someone was playing about with a hose pipe!

Drama Over!

Down on the beach we started off by playing 'Chase' while OTL tried to make a rock pool look interesting, but he failed!

Holly and I ran up and down the beach at full speed!

I'm catching you!
You know, we were going so fast that I'm sure I was flying at one time!

Coming in to land!
Then Holly and I started to dig a hole. I was better at digging and there came a time when I couldn't see the bottom!

The bottom has gone!
I disgraced myself, while OTL was on his knees in front of the rocks I went Zoooooom past him and ran through the mud.

That left me with muddy paws! OTL even called me Miss Mucky Paws!

I can see a paw bath coming up when we get home!
Back home for a snooze and plan what DVD we are going to watch tonight, maybe The Hobbit!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Two Walks for The Ferrets!

Hi Woofers!

Us here again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Hey! The sunshine has come back again!

Mind you, there was a bit of frost this morning, Old Two Legs had to spend some time scraping it all off the windscreen!

By the time we had got down to The Beach, the sun was out and warming everything up!

Spring is here!

Snowflake had to get out of the Ferret Bag before we got to the beach 'cos she had drunk too much Lactose Free Milk this morning!

Ooooooh! That's Better!
Down on the beach we were surprised to see Mrs Corvid a few feet along the beach, poking about in the sea weed looking for her breakfast.

The amazing thing was, she was getting closer and closer to OTL without realising it!

Holly and I were standing stock still watching her get closer!

Psst! Says Holly, 'A few more feet and we're in with a chance!'

Mrs Corvid must have heard Holly 'cos she turned her head and said....................

In Yer Dreams Woofer!
That was it, Holly was off like a bullet from a gun but by the time she had got to the shore, Mrs Corvid was gliding over the rock pools calling back...............

Told Ya!
Both ferrets were still on the wet sand trying to wake up!

Wot was all that noise?
Off we went, back towards the car and both ferrets were having a wonderful time 'Sniffin The Sniffs' all the way back!

Come on, let me have a sniff as well!
Back home we had a good game of chase all around the house and Brambles got side tracked by our biscuits, as normal, while Miss Snowflake was playing 'Hunt the Squeak' with OTL!

I don't know if it is the warm weather, but both ferrets just were not interested in going to sleep, as they normally do.

Snowflake was up at the cage door, Rattling it for all she was worth. Mr Brambles was at the up stairs door, giving it a good bash as well!

Holly was fast asleep on the bed and I was getting no sleep, so I was looking for something to interest me!

OTL let the ferrets out for a run but they both headed down to the front door.

I decided that we should go for another walk, so I gave OTL the 'Secret Sign', a thump on the back of his chair!

In the end he decided that there was no point in trying to work, he just had to take us all out again!

So, there we were, eleven fifteen, down on the beach again but this time digging holes and running about!

The ferrets thought it was great fun and scampered all over the place when they got to the grass path.

Mr Brambles was having trouble getting up the steps again, so he was calling out for Snowflake to 'Give him a shove'!

I'm sure this thing is growing!
Snowflake came back, took a look and said 'No Dear, it's you, your getting too fat to get over the step!'

Your front is OK but the back end just doesn't have the power!
We all had a good laugh about that!

OTL stopped at the bench and put both ferrets up on top. Holly and I jumped up as well and we all had a look at the scene around us.

Both ferrets had never seen so much grass and trees at one time and said that they didn't know the world was so big!

You can see so much from up here!
Then Miss Snowflake found a small problem with being up so high.

It sure is a long way down!
It was OK for OTL, Holly and me 'cos we could easily get up and down but the ferrets have only got short legs which maybe OK for climbing up but not so good for going down!

Back home again and the first thing both ferrets did was to fall asleep, and they haven't moved since, in fact OTL has given them a poke, just to make sure they were still alive!

I reckon they will sleep all the way through the night without waking up once!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snoozy Snowflake and Mr Snoring Brambles!
