We get Visitors!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Wot' Horrid Windy Day it has been! We were out this morning, a little later than normal 'cos Old Two Legs went back to sleep, and that Easterly Wind was whipping the waves about and the tide wasn't even in yet!

Here come The White Horses!

Both ferrets stayed in the Ferret Bag until we got to The Beach and even then weren't too happy about getting out but both of them needed a wee, so out they get!

OTL made sure they didn't get back in the bag while he wasn't looking 'cos he folded it up and hid it under his arm!

Snowflake was not happy!

They both ran up the beach towards the Sea Wall but Brambles stopped in front of me and asked if he could share a sniff?

Well, such a polite request, what could I do?

Just a Little Sniff Sun Shine, I don't want you to take it all!

Pretty soon we were up on the grass path and Brambles said that he knew a 'Shortcut' and headed off into the grass, got lost and had to ask OTL to guide him to the path again!

Come On! The Shortcut is this way!

That's the trouble with ferrets, no sense of direction!

Back home we snuggled down into out cushions and had a super warm snooze snuggled up under OTL's 'Workspace'!

Gone Man! Solid Gone!

 Holly was snoozing as well, dreaming of food, as usual!

'Mmmmmm! Food Wonderful Food'!

Both ferrets were tucked up as well, they had made pigs of themselves this morning, first of all Doggy Biscuits, then Ferret Food, Then Ferret Bits and finally, Raw Chicken sliced off our dinner before it went in the oven to cook!

I must admit, I had a couple of Ferret Bits as well 'cos they are tasty and stop Hair Balls!

Not too sure what Hair Balls are but they sound 'Not Very Nice'!

So, there we were, fast asleep when the door bell went!

That was it, straight into 'Guard Dog Mode'!

Woofing and Hollering down the stairs we went to find we had visitors!

Holly went potty 'cos they were her original Two Legs who she stayed with before coming to live here! Yes it was The Lads!

We all had a super time giving them all 'Welcome Licks' and we both had cuddles as well.

Other than visiting us, they had turned up 'cos it was 'Mothers Day'. We all had a good time before they had to leave for a long trip home.

So, back to snoozing and planning what we are going to mug off OTL tonight!

Too Cold For An Adventure!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

We were up at the  'Crack of Dawn' 'cos The Missus wants to get up to the Village Hall good and early 'cos she has to set up all the tables and chairs and get everything all laid out and ready!

That means we are all up early 'cos we have to take her and all her gear up to the hall!

Now, when she has a 'Master Class' we end up on The Beach before everyone else!

That means we don't get to say 'Hello' to any of the Lads!

The ferrets got out of their Ferret Bag before we got to the beach 'cos Miss Snowflake fancied a wee and of course, Brambles got out as well just to have a sniff.

Well, normally they drag this bit out but today it was 'Out and Back' at high speed!

You see, there was an Easterly Wind blowing in off the sea and coming from Russia or somewhere equally as cold!

Down on The Beach the ferrets were emptied out of the bag and because of the cold wind, they were dragging Old Two Legs back up the beach and heading back towards the car park!

OK, That's it, back to the car!

Back home there was Lambs Heart waiting for us and of course Brambles was stuffing his chops with Doggy Biscuits, our Doggy Biscuits!

Come lunchtime we decided to get OTL out and back before the rugby starts so I went up behind him, gave his chair a good shove, then sat there!

Guess Wot I Want?

The wind still hadn't dropped and we decided not to hang about.

We met up with this Bozo Two Legs who said he had brought his fishing gear and his metal detector with him so he could go fishing! Well, the tide was right out, so he gave up on that idea and got out the metal detector.

We don't know what he was expecting to find but what ever it was, he hadn't!

Zoom, Zoom and not a Ping was heard!

 Holly found a big tree trunk on the beach and it looks like it was used to make a fire. Holly took one look and reckons it looks like a Dragon!

A Fire Breathing Dragon?

 We didn't hang about 'cos the wind was blowing and getting under our tail! So, off we went and had a game of chase along the beach, I went on top of The Sea Wall and waited for Holly by hiding at the top of the steps.

The idea is to give her a Big Woof when I jump out in front of her as she gets to the top of the steps!

After that we ran along the Sea Wall and even OTL chased us along there as well.

He's only chasing us 'cos he's cold!

Back home and we crashed out on the sofa while OTL watched the rugby.

We all decided that it really wasn't the weather to have an adventure so we will save it up until the weather gets warmer!

The Weekend is Here!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

Today it has been fun and Old Two Legs has been experimenting and we have all been taking part!

You see, he has been sorting out his camera box and discovered that some time ago he purchased a filter system, that is a load of glass slides that you stick in a holder that is screwed to the lens. Now, mostly it is Graduated filters that get darker as you get to the top, they called ND Grads. (Technical bit!)

Well, he discovered that he had brought a Yellow Filter!

This means that he can use his big camera and big lens for B&W pictures!

Well, it keeps him from getting under our paws!

So, here we go with the Small Camera and small lens and filter.

Holly running at a trot!

Well, we have seen that sort of thing before!

Snowflake found an old ball in the rock pool and was going to dig it out for Holly and me to chase! That was the idea but when she had a dig she found it was split and full of water!

This is looking a bit Squidgy!

Then she went off looking for the Monster but we think it was still asleep under the rocks, it was just finding the right rock!

No, not this one!

After failing to find the Monster, both ferrets decided to have a 'Ferret Around' in the grass searching for sniffs and Weasels! They found some sniffs but no Weasels, they had all gone back to bed!

Well, I reckon they've been here!

Back home Holly and I headed for our beds for a snooze while OTL cleaned out the Ferret Poo Pots.

He gets all the best jobs!

Snowflake and Brambles went on the 'Rampage', well Snowflake did but Brambles headed straight for our biscuit bowl and spent the next half an hour nibbling!

Holly said that if he keeps on eating our biscuits he might end up woofing, wagging his tail and sniffing our butts!

I must admit, lamp posts are very interesting!

Well, that was the small camera and filter, but when we went out at lunchtime it was Big Camera, Big Filter and Big Lens!

Do you think it will make my butt look big?

We headed for The Beach and found a couple of Two Legs sitting on the stones waiting for the tide to come in!

Holly got the pickle in her and raced along The Sea Wall chasing the Rook who fancies a ferret but we don't think he wants it as a pet!

Go on Holly bite his tail feathers!

Of course, she didn't get him 'cos he flew off over the mud and Holly said she wasn't allowed onto the mud!

Since when did she start listening to OTL?

Finally, we headed home and OTL just couldn't resist that Hawthorn Flower and clicked away again but in B&W this time!

So, after all that experimenting with cameras and filters we have decided that there was not a great deal of difference!

So, tomorrow we hope to be back to colour and maybe a ND Grad, just for fun!

The Missus is off to another 'Master Class' up at the village hall, so, providing it's not too cold or wet, we could be up for an 'Adventure'!

Bye bye for now, we are off to do some mugging!

I'm OK, it's Holly's turn!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

You will be pleased to hear that I'm feeling better today! So much so that I've pinched Holly's chew she had been saving!

Bad news is that Holly has now got the Grumbly Tum!

She said she didn't really feel like the chew and I could have it, but only until she feels better!

Old Two Legs said he would keep an eye on her 'cos she does suffer with her butt!

We met up with that Rook again, cheeky devil wanted to know if we had any sarnies with us!

Just a Little Sarnie for me?

Mr Brambles said that he could make a sarnie of a Rook with no trouble what so ever!

Then he dug a 'Fox Hole' to hide in just in case the Rook decided to attack!

OK, I'm ready for you now!

 Just as he was getting ready, I came over to inspect the hole and Mr Brambles thought that I was sniffing his butt!

As if!

Get yer nose outta My Butt Woofer!

Then, quick as a flash, he jumped around to try to give me the old 'Hairy Eyeball!'

Little does he know, but I've been given the 'Hairy Eyeball' by experts, so a little Ferret can't scare me!

Yeah? You and who's army?

 We all scampered off home and OTL spent most of today trying to get his printer to un-bung it's self.

No success there then!

We saw him weeping in the corner and stroking his credit card, looks like a new printer is on it's way then! He made enquiries about replacing the printer head but it was over half the price of a new printer!

No Contest!

Lunchtime was great, the sun was shining and there was a gentle breeze and just for a change, or because he spent too much money, OTL took his Yellow Filter out with him!

The tide was on it's way in and we spotted a Wormy Man right out on the mud, being chased back to shore by the incoming tide!

It's Behind You!

Well, he made it back but as OTL says, you have got to be careful 'cos that water comes in at a right gallop!

Holly pretended to do a gallop along The Sea Wall and calling out that she was being chased by the tide!

Chase Me I'm A Galloping Holly Dog!

I was watching from the beach and kept calling out that it was gaining on her and she had better get her water wings out!

Watch out! Here comes the waves!

It was good fun on the beach and both Holly and I ran up and down woofing at some Two Legs walking along The Sea Wall.

OTL sat on the beach looking at the tide rushing in.

Well, as he says, 'It's Better Than Working!

We stopped on the bench to watch a woofer go past down near the Rabbit Hunting Ground and decided that we wouldn't go hunting today 'cos the woofer more than likely had scared all the rabbits back down their holes anyway!

Look at that! No idea how to hunt rabbits!

Back home it was all back to work again for OTL but Holly and I enjoyed a very pleasant snooze on the bed!

The Missus is out again tonight at some Glue & Glitter Bash so we will be able to sit on the sofa and eat nibbles and watch a DVD!

Couldn't be any better!

Grumbly Tum and Big Woofers!

Hi Woofers!

Back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It was another early morning for us, The Missus was up at Four Fifteen this morning! We are definitely going to get OTL to get her some worming tablets, that should sort her out!

Mind you, it wasn't all bad 'cos I've still got a Grumbly Tum but it is getting better and OTL reckons I'll be a 'Cleared Up' by tomorrow!

So, we got out a bit earlier than normal, and that was OK by me 'cos my tum was definitely grumbling!


Just how does he know these things?

We got down to The Beach and saw an early Wormy Man about to start digging!

Holly called out some helpful advice!

Mr Brambles was enjoying a run about on the beach and then challenged Holly to a race back to the car!

They call me 'The Brambles Bolt!'

Now that might come in handy 'cos that Rook was on the Sea Wall asking if we wanted to sell a Ferret!

Holly suggested that the Rook come a bit closer for 'Discussions' but he wasn't going fall for that one!

On our way back to the car, while Holly and I was sniffing at a bush, OTL spotted a Rabbit!

 We were just too busy and by the time we realised what he was saying, the rabbit had gone!

One nil to OTL!

Lunchtime was fun, Holly was playing 'Zoom' along the beach while I was digging another big hole!

I fancied a dip in the sea, well, the tide was right in and I didn't feel cold and reckoned that I deserved a dip.

OTL said 'NO!'

We met up with Cyril who was out for a walk with his mates. Cyril has met us before and of course he is a mate of OTL!

He said 'Hello' to us the dashed straight for OTL to give him a cuddle!

As we got closer to the car OTL spotted the first bloom we had seen this year, other than the Daffy's we saw in the Church Yard in January!

Spring Is Here!

Holly stopped and pointed out that the Wormy Man was still out on the mud, digging away for all he was worth!

He certainly looked like he had dug a long trench!

He's Working Hard Today!

The Missus has been out today doing one of her 'Teaching Days' so we expect her to arrive soon in a cloud of glitter and ink!

We are looking forward to a sensible sleep tonight, claws crossed!

Smelly Nelly's Here!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back with you!

We were up early this morning, not that we wanted to be up, in fact we would rather be snoozing but The Missus got up and switched all the lights on then she did a 'Puppy Patrol' all around the house and ending up in her card store room and started to shift boxes of stuff all over the place!

The noise was terrible!

It even woke Old Two Legs up as well!

He was not a Happy Puppy!

Well, if OTL is up then we are up and of course, so are the Ferrets!

We even managed to catch the sun coming up over Sheerness and we met up with that Big Bozo Labrador called Mercedes who we haven't seen for ages!

He was tickled pink to see OTL 'cos he thinks OTL is wonderful!

Holly wanting to know what I'm doing.........sniffing of course!

Both Ferrets were out hunting the Big Slimy Monster in amongst the rock pools, they still didn't find it, I suppose it's a bit like Holly and me chasing rabbits!

It was here a moment ago!

We spotted that Rook again but he stayed a long way down the Sea Wall Path, mind you, that didn't stop Brambles from doing his 'Ferret Commando Crawl' as he got to the top of the steps!

Hostiles Ahead!

Back home we got Lambs Heart and biscuits and we left the Doggy Biscuits for Brambles to have a feed.

You know what? He was back to the bowl three times before he said he couldn't eat any more!

Well, we all slept very well while OTL was trying to 'Un-Bung' the printer head, without too much success!

Lunchtime we took him off for a run, just to help him clear his head of the cleaning stuff fumes!

Holly did one of her 'Big Poos' on the path which OTL had to clear up! Normally he uses one of the Poo Bags he has in his pocket then carries it around with him until he finds a rubbish bin to put it in but today he decided that he would walk up the hill and deposit it in the bin rather than carry it around with him!

Holly and I were sniffing around and when we looked, OTL had gone!

We didn't see where he had gone and we both got a bit worried 'cos neither Holly or I can drive the car!

Then Holly spotted him up on the hill!

There his is, up by the Poo Bin!

It was great in the sun, Holly and I were charging around on the sand  and Holly even had a Big Zoom along The Sea Wall!

Down on The Beach OTL sat down to watch the tide come in and wanted to see what birds were feeding. It was mostly the Oyster Catchers out on the tide line but there were some Turnstones as well.

Holly and I had fun chasing each other and playing 'Throw The Stick' which Holly is very good at doing!

You threw it so You go and Get IT!

I had a wander along the beach while OTL was sitting on the sea shells, then I came back and just had to share my secret with him!

Guess Wot I've Rolled In?

Holly was resting on the beach behind me and was laughing 'cos she knew that when we got home I'd be having a bath!

Hey Nelly! I can sniff it from down here!

It's a pity the sea hadn't come in 'cos I could have washed it off with a swim, but I wasn't so lucky and ended up getting 'Shampooed' when I got home!

Well, some you win and some you lose!

A Ferrets Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Well, not a lot has happened today, we woke up early, (I've got a Grumbly Tum) and Old Two Legs didn't! It was The Missus who let me out in the garden 'cos she was up at four thirty being 'Inspired' by the dawn lights.

We were going to tell her they are the street lights but decided against it 'cos we didn't want to spoil her creative moment!

OTL was up early as well and he was planning some more paperwork and manufacturing!

Boring or Wot!

The morning walk was fun, we saw no one except that Rook who reckons he has a taste for ferrets!

Did we tell him that our ferrets have a taste for Rook!

Miss Snowflake was enjoying all the sniffs.

With a little sniff here and a little sniff there!

OTL was having fun photographing at ground level. Mr Brambles dived off into the undergrowth, so he didn't get his photo taken!

This is a good sniff as well!

On the way down to The Beach we spotted that Rook who fancied a nibble of ferret! Of course, he was trying to look all big and terrible but he decided to clear off before the ferrets had got down the path!

I'll be back!

Snowflake was having a joke with Holly 'cos she wanted to know what was the best way to get some Rays!

Got any Factor Thirty Five I could borrow?

 Then she was off onto the rocks and sea weed for a ferret about!

Look! There is loads of rocks out there!

We had a go at digging a couple of holes but my heart wasn't really into it and Holly was more interested in hunting Rooks!

I really fancy going home for a snooze!

Back home I retired to bed while Holly set about hunting food! OTL went off to work and so the day past in relative quiet!

We went out at lunchtime but my heart wasn't real in it at all!

Back home to rest while OTL actually sneaked off to do some deliveries and I didn't care!

I'm feeling better, not a hundred percent but better, I know that 'cos I've just mugged a bit of OTL's cookie biscuit!

I wonder what he's got for dinner!
