Saturday with OTL!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

It's good to see Archie Babe is back and working again on his computer, we didn't even get to load the Ten Windows, it got half way into loading up then it went back to Seven Windows and when OTL checked, it said it had 'Failed because of an Unknown Error'! I think OTL is going to stick with what is working for him now!

You know he has laptop computers running Windows 98 'cos the programs on there won't run under anything later! Something to do with 'Clocks in the Computer'.

Well, we have had a 'Relaxing Day' today, not too much excitement but fun all the same!

The ferrets were a bit sleepy this morning but at least they got their Lactose Free Milk today. Yesterday there was no milk and you should have seen them show off! Mr Brambles sat at Old Two Legs feet, looking up at him and asking why he was being starved!

Miss Snowflake went hunting milk and when she couldn't find any, she did what Brambles normally does, she kicked the Poo Pot all around the cage!

Today, there was milk for them, in two bowls, with an added dash of warm water to take the chill off!

Today we have 'Happy Ferrets'!

Down on the beach Brambles found an old drinks bottle that had been left on the beach. What got him all wound up was the fact that if you climbed up the steps from the beach to the Sea Wall, there is a Rubbish Bin sitting there waiting for your rubbish!

Brambles reckons there are some very anti social TL's  around!

Wot Lazy Slob left this here?
The ferrets found a 'Ferret Sniff' and had fun rolling in it until OTL spotted them!

This is better that a Doggy Sniff!
Holly got a 'Grumbly Tum' this morning and OTL had to give her butt a good clean with some wipes he had in the car, in fact he ended up using nearly half of the pack just to get her clean enough to take home for a wash!

Grumbly Tum or no, it didn't stop her from enjoying the Lambs Heart we had for breakfast today!

We spent the morning relaxing on the patio enjoying the sun shine. OTL was in the office, 'Manufacturing' so he didn't have too much to do on Monday.

Why?

Well, he had a phone call to tell him that the third floor for Snowy Heights would be arriving on Monday, so he needs to 'Clear The Decks'!

Lunchtime we were back down to the beach again and the tide was right in and the wind had dropped and OTL had found a stick and Holly was on the hunt!

The first gang of TL's drew a blank.

No Food! So, get yer paw off me!
The second load was another story, they had got a thing for burning burgers and sausages, so Holly do stood there and did her 'Poor Lost & Starving Woofer' look.

Your not going to eat all of that are you?
It worked! She mugged two of them for the burger and then she got half a sausage from the cook!

She is getting very good at this 'Mugging of Tourists'!

I didn't bother with all that stuff, I was too busy playing 'Fetch the Stick' with OTL!

I Got It!
Then OTL found a much bigger stick, he reckons this might have come from a Mini TL's Beach Spade.

It was so easy to fetch back and it wasn't too heavy, which means I could carry it sticking out the front of my mouth.

OTL calls it my 'Churchill Stick'!

Got a Light Boy?
On the Sea Wall OTL spotted a butterfly that had landed on the concrete and was interested to find out what it was 'cos it didn't have any markings on the underneath of it's wings. He just got one shot off before it flew away and we still didn't see what colour it's upper wings were!

Just having a rest!
We saw a funny sight. there, right at the top of a tall plant was a snail! It was sitting there underneath the flowers and it must have been at least four feet off the ground!

Holly said it was a 'Flying Snail' but OTL said that snails don't fly.

Holly said that there was a first time for every thing!

A First Flying Snail?
Back home to a snooze before The Missus gets back from her 'Master Class' and tonight OTL thinks he may get a curry!

Now, some news about Miss May and April. OTL has been speaking to the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue Centre and both ferrets have had their operations and all is well! We reckon to give them another week to get over it all and then introductions begin.

OTL is to telephone next weekend and arrange a day to go down for the introductions and providing all goes well, there will be four ferrets in our house instead of two!

Can't wait!

See you tomorrow!

Getting ready for the Weekend!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

If this weather keeps up we should have a good weekend!

Mind you, someone was being rude this morning and got told off!

No mentioning any names but put it this way, it was a HIM!

And He was blowing Raspberries at everyone!

.........................an Rhubarbs as well!
Snowflake was upset that He was making such a rude noise that she went of to tell Old Two Legs!

Daddy, He is being very Rude!
Heading back to the car we met up with a woofer we had met before. He was out for him morning run and we had a chat about the sniffs on the Grass Path.

Of course, he just had to say 'Hello' to OTL!

Yo! OTL, how's your girls today?
It's not often we meet up with woofers who are exactly the same height!

....and did you get that sniff by the Poo Bin?
OTL was on his knees again snapping away at the insects on the flowers.

This was the Flesh Fly we saw the other day!
There was one insect we couldn't find in The Book. We can't work out if it is a Bee or a Fly, anyone know what it is?

A Bee or not a Bee, that is the question!
Back home we had a good bowl of Chicken and Biscuits followed by a crunchy biscuit in the shape of a bone, mmm, tasty!

Lunchtime the tide was right in but I didn't go in for a swim 'cos it was getting too rough!

Too Splashy for me!
I spent some time sniffing the beach for interesting sniffs. Some Two Legs had thrown a load of beer cans along the beach, so messy and the rubbish bin is just along the path!

Maybe we should collect up all the tins and dump them in their front garden!
OTL was snapping away again with his Macro Lens, there was this Dragon Fly having a rest on the bush, so he stayed still while OTL kept saying 'Smile Please!'

Smile for the camera!
Then he started to get closer and closer and the Dragon Fly still didn't move! So OTL kept clicking!

Get any closer and I'll spit on your lens!
We also spotted a Skipper who was looking rather worn out. He said he had been 'Breeding' and was going to have a snooze!

I'm all worn out!
Now, we haven't heard from Archie Babe for a couple of days, we are getting a bit worried, has he over dosed on sweets or some mishap has befallen him?

Talk to us Archie Babe!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

I Woz Robbed!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Another day of fun and frolics!

The Macro lens was still on the camera, so it was long shots and insects again!

There was a couple of shots that Old Two Legs took that weren't too bad.

First Mr Brambles was tearing up the beach to have a roll in the dry sea weed.

Hears Brambles!
We met up with some of the lads and had what OTL calls a Woofers Convention! There was Max and Oscar, then young Bryn and Little Holly, not our Holly, just a visitor on holiday, and then there was Holly and me!

A Gang Sniff!
Of course, OTL was hunting insects and came across these flies who sat still long enough to be photographed. Pity the wind didn't drop and stop blowing the flowers about!

Flesh Fly
This Bluebottle was showing off it's shiny back!

It's Bluebottle!
Then there was this one that OTL thinks is a House Fly, so what it was doing on the flowers on the grass path is any ones guess!

House Fly?
Lunchtime was great 'cos that means the tide was in and I was swimming!

I was swimming after the stick but I got distracted by a big woofer who was swimming out to chase my stick!

I did a crafty one on him 'cos I turned around and headed back to OTL and left the stick in the water!

Then the cheeky Bozo asked me where I kept my stick 'cos he couldn't see it in my mouth!

'Ere! Where do you keep yer stick?
That was him sorted but I lost the stick 'cos it floated away on the tide!

OTL says he will keep his eyes open for another one!

We were hunting rabbits and OTL spotted a very small bee like thing that could have been a fly in disguise. He was chomping away on the nectar and going Yum, Yum, Yum!

Yum, Yum, Yum, Yum, Yum, Yum, Yum, Yum, Yum
Not too sure what is for dinner tonight but I know that Holly and I have Doggy Scoff!

So, off we go and see what we can mug off OTL, nibbles, cookies, carrots or even a Chicken Fillet!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles

Holly Scores!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

It has been a super day today, sunshine from start to finish!

On the beach both ferrets were diving in and out of the sea weed. Old Two Legs had brought his Macro Lens with him today, so, close up shots of small things, or, bigger things further away!

So that mean the ferrets get to wee without OTL clicking away in their face!

So, what did he do?

He took pictures of Holly and I fighting over possession of a hole we were digging!

No, this is My Hole!
Then we heard a woofing from on top of The Sea Wall, it was Dave!

Yo Girls! How's it hanging?
Holly looked up and told Dave that we were Girls and we don't 'Hang' like wot he does! Then we all had a good laugh and he went to OTL for his stroke and tickle!

While we were sniffing, OTL was clicking away at the insects he spotted on the plants.

Skipper?
Then he spotted this one, a Silver Studded Blue, well that's what he says it is!

Silver Studded Blue
Then it was of home for a bowl of Lambs Heart and a snooze while OTL was 'Manufacturing'.

Lunchtime we headed down to the beach again and Holly met up with a family of Two Legs who were  eating lunch!

OTL told them that Holly works on the strict rule of 'No Food, No Strokes' but she let the Mini TL a 'Sample Stroke'!

OTL wandered off to play 'Chase' with me but Holly stayed there, wandering around and sniffing!

OTL looked around and called Holly but what did he see?

Holly dog was chomping away on a sausage that the TL had left on his plate!

OTL thought Holly had pinched it but Holly promised him it was given to her in exchange for a stroke!

You had better have some food!
OTL was having fun creeping up on the insects and trying to get a shot, even though the wind was blowing the flower head all over the place!

Six Spot Burnet.
Then he found another!

Another Six Spot Burnet!
Holly and were busy on the beach and OTL came out of the undergrowth with a stick!

That was it, I was in the water swimming out to where OTL had thrown the stick. Holly was running up and down the beach getting ready to rob me of the stick when I got close to the shore!

Come to Mummy!
What was fun was Holly splashing about trying take the stick off me but I hung on and Holy ended up with wet paws!

Give me the Stick!
OTL was telling me to go back into the water but Holly was digging her claws in and refused to move!

It was only when she realised that she was wet did she let go!

'ere! I'm wet!
That was it, OTL picked the stick up and hid it in the undergrowth for next time!

Back home to get dry and have a snooze before dinner.

More mugging!

See you all tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles

A quiet day for everyone today!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

It makes a change to see the sun again, even if it is behind the clouds!

Still, it didn't spoil our walk this morning and Holly met up with that

Bedlington Terrier she loves teasing!

Look, I don't have a lead on me!
I told her that she was a Tart and she shouldn't wind up other woofers like that!

Do I care I'm a Tart, Do I look like I care?
Down on the beach Miss Snowflake was all excited 'cos she managed to find her Wee'ing Rock!

There's only room for one!
Brambles did the 'Jumping over Old Two Legs' trick!

I can run around his hat as well!
Holly and I had a game of 'Chase' up and down the beach while we were waiting for the ferrets to finish digging holes!

Up on the Grass Path, Holly and I were waiting for the ferrets to arrive. Mr Brambles crept up on me and asked me if I was worn out!

Has the running made you tired?
I told him to 'woof off' 'cos I could run faster than him and longer any day!

He wander off to have a sniff, Snowflake arrived and we had a chat about some ferret type sniffs that we had both found on the beach. She reckons that they were really a Stoat or maybe a Weasel.

I said it might have been a Rat but agreed the sniff was more like Stoat!

Yeah, I reckon Stoat as well!
Back home we got a bowl full of chicken which went down a treat, all warm and greasy!

The ferrets didn't have too long to rampage around 'cos the man from the Heating Company was due to visit and sort out a leak OTL had found on one of the pipe joints.

We were locked in the bedroom as a precaution in case he had any sarnies with him. OTL said if he had any food, we wouldn't leave him along to get on with his work!

As if!

Lunchtime we were out again, and of course, OTL is after insects, especially a Flesh Fly, 'cos the last shot was a little out of focus!

Guess what?

We didn't see a single Flesh Fly, however, we did see a Black Butt Woofing Wonder Bumble Bee.....Me!

Well that's what Holly called me!

Black Butt? Me?
We spotted a Blue Bottle Fly but it wouldn't stay still to have its picture taken and the wind didn't help either!

Blue Bottle with the fidgets!
There was a Buff Tailed Bumble Bee buzzing away and working hard collecting all the nectar.

Can't stop, I'm behind schedule!
We left him to carry on and on the next bunch of flowers, there was a Red Tailed Bumble Bee!

I don't know what it is with Bumble Bees but they always seem too busy to stop for a chat.

Work, Work, Work, it never stops!
We left them to it and headed home, back to my cushion and a couple of teeth cleaning chews I hid underneath the cushion!

Not too sure what is for dinner tonight, OTL's dinner I mean, but we had chicken so I'm not expecting anything too exciting, unless OTL has Steak & Chips!

In his dreams!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Getting Snowy Towers Redesigned!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Today has been a good day, no rain, well not much!

In fact although the wind has been blowing, it wasn't cold. Mind you, when the ferrets climbed back into Old Two Legs arms after having a quick wee, while Holly and I chased a couple of rabbits, they snuggled down and acted as thought the North Pole was on a visit!

OTL put them down on the beach but Snowflake still wanted to get back into the warm!

Come on Daddy I'm FREEZING!
By the way, that last photo was taken with the mobile phone, rubbish on focusing!

Snowflake gave up trying to get back in the bag and headed down the beach for a wee.

She was not a 'Happy Ferret', some one had trod on her Wee'ing Rock and pushed it into the sand, so, when the tide came in, the rock disappeared!

Me Rocks Gone!
Brambles didn't hang around 'cos he was sure to get the blame! He shot off up the beach and remarked that the wind was 'Blowing his tail About'!

My tails 'Blowin' in The Wind'!
I found a super sniff to roll in and when OTL told me to get up I pointed out that it was a ferret sniff, honest!

If it's good enough for a ferret............!
Young Bryn came past, walking on The Sea Wall, he normally tries to have a nibble of a ferret but today his owner had got some tasty nibbles, so he ignored us and was on his best behaviour!

I've not even looked at them, now, Gissa Nibble!
 Sneaky Woofer got two nibbles!

We are going to try that on The Missus, she's a sucker for a 'Soppy Look'!

Lunchtime we were down the beach again but there was no one about, Holly says that they have all gone away on holiday and were sitting in lorries on the M20 doing Operation Stack, or should that be Operation Stuck!

OTL has spent the afternoon changing the shelves around in the ferret cage, getting ready for the new bits that should arrive soon.

We have sent off an email to The Centre to see how Miss April and Miss May are doing after their operation and we then should get an idea how long it will be before they move in with Brambles and Snowflake!

We are off now to see if there is anything worth mugging tonight before having to put up with that horrible Doggy Scoff again!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
