Tale of a Soggy Bottom!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, a day late!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Well, it all started a couple or three weeks ago, I came back from a super run on the beach and a dip in the sea. Then I sort of wee'd where I don't normally, like in Old Two Legs office!

Then I did it again and it was off to see the vet, just in case.

He pondered the situation and suggested we go away and see if it returns 'cos it might just be that I had picked up a bug in the sea!

If it happened again OTL was to bring a sample of my wee for testing and it cost OTL a fiver for this plastic sample bottle and a plastic scoop to collect the wee in!

Well, nothing more happened and that was that, OTL had got himself a super Wee Collecting Kit, until Thursday evening.

OTL and The Missus left us in the caravan for an hour while they got the Chinese Takeaway and while they were gone, I did a wee on the seat.

It was soon cleared up and disinfected and I was placed on a couple of towels and a wodge of paper kitchen towel.

I did another couple of wee's without really noticing it, but OTL did, the paper changed colour!

I got all cleaned up again and proceeded to mug OTL for some King Plawns and some Plawn Clackers.

OTL telephoned the vet, our vet, and got an appointment for Saturday at 2 'o' clock.

Friday was an early night and Saturday was an early start!

Off we went, OTL and me, all the way back to see our vet.  OTL says he would rather get me into see out vet 'cos they got my whole history on the computer records.

So, there we were, at 2 'o' clock, in front of the vet with OTL telling the story of me weeing.

The vet said that we really need a sample of my wee and from his pocket, OTL produced a sample bottle with some wee that was only a couple of hours old!

The vet tested it and declared that  it was all OK. Kidneys, Bladder, Diabetes, Blood Count, White Cell Count, all OK!

Then the vet says that my loss of control is common in Lady Woofers of my age who have been Spayed! Seems we lose the production of Oestrogen which tells our brain when our bladder is full!

The vet says that we can leave it and see what happens, more soggy bottoms?

Or, we could try a months worth of pills that contain estriol  which is a Oestrogen replacement.

OTL decided on the pills 'cos he don't do Soggy Bottoms in his office!

So, back in the car and back to the caravan. We got back at eight, just in time for some Doggy Scoff and a mug at TM's dinner!

What a day!  543miles and a vet bill!

We were just a little tired, so that is why we missed yesterdays blog!

This morning it was raining, nothing new there then! Even the ferrets didn't get a run out and had to put up with trashing the caravan instead of hunting Yorkshire Puds under the rocks!

We did manage to get a run down by the river but being Sunday there were loads of Two Legs marching about in hiking boots and plastic jackets and carrying walking poles!

You know, we even saw a bunch of Mini Two Legs Scout group marching along the path by the river!

Keep Marching, Left, Left, Left, Left!
OTL said they hadn't got around to ' Left, Right' yet!

The Aqueduct Bridge!
It was about here by the bridge that the rain started to come down again, so, one last photo and then it was back to the van!

Looks dark in there!
Later we went into Skipton and TM brought us some casserole steak as a treat after the 'Soggy Bottom Scare'!

Well it's coming up to six and no Soggy Bottoms and I'm just about to have another pill!

See you all tomorrow and with a bit of luck we will be going over the moor following the Wharfedale Valley, providing the rain holds off!

Bye Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, and Freddy de Ferret!

We are still here!

Yo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy de Ferret here again!

Sorry about yesterday, blame The Missus for that!

She went to a 'Double Crop', that is, one session in the morning and another session in the afternoon!

We were then ushered away and told to 'come back at four thirty'!

So, that's what we did, Old Two Legs, the ferrets, Holly and I went off exploring the area.

We went over the moors and down to Hebden Bridge, then through Denholme and onto Keighley. The towns were a bit boring but on the moors it was, um, 'Bleak' and especially when it rained, which it did for most of the day!

There was one spot we stopped at and OTL got us dressed up in our harnesses for a run and as soon as we got out the door, the rain started!

It was like that for most of the time!

We stopped at Lund's Tower and had a quick run around but it didn't last long 'cos the rain came back again!

We stopped at a roadside cafe and OTL ordered up a cup of tea for him and a sausage roll, then he ordered up two sausages for us woofers!

They didn't last long, so we started to mug OTL for his sausage roll but he had been crafty, he had sloshed a load of mustard all over the sausages!

Holly and I don't do mustard so he got to eat his sausage roll all on his own!

At four thirty we picked TM up and headed back to the caravan. The journey takes a whole hour so it was going to be late by the time we got back, TM suggested we get a 'Chinese Takeaway' instead of cooking a meal.

Sounded OK to us!

We got left in the caravan while they went off to get the meal.

On the way into town OTL had to past a tractor coming in the opposite direction and like a good driver he is, he pulled over to the side to allow the tractor and the hay baler it was towing get past.

It was at that point OTL managed to scrape the car against the stone wall that had been there for over two hundred years!

The bad news is that OTL will have to get the rear door mended and resprayed but the good news is that the wall wasn't damaged at all!

The Chinese Meal was super, King Prawns and Chow Mein and loads of Plawn Clackers!

Holly made a pig of herself and so did I!

We slept well last night!

We got woken up during the night with all that rain beating down on the roof but we soon went to sleep again!

Today we are having what TM calls a 'Lazy Day' which means OTL has to drag us Woofers out for a long walk down by the river while she does some 'Creative Crafting'!

We were only allowed back in if it was raining!

We had a wander along side the river and OTL saw a bird called a 'Dipper'. Now he has never seen one in 'Real Life' and has been looking for years!

He saw one the other day but didn't have his camera with him so he couldn't count that one but today.....................

A DIPPER!!!!!!!!!
Mind you, the first shot wasn't the best of pictures!

A Fast Flying Dipper!
The path was up and down like we remembered it and OTL was puffing and blowing but us woofers have what we call Four X Paw drive, so hills aren't too much trouble!

4 X Paw Drive here!
We had to stop every so often for OTL to wave the camera about at some trees and water but as there were loads of sniffs around we didn't mind him going click, click!

Wot? No Dipper?
Mind you, we did see a family of Mandarin Ducks on the other side of the river!

A Chinese Takeaway Duck?
We did think about chasing them but Holly pointed out that the river was not only very wet but cold and fast!

Is there a bridge nearby?
In the end we decided to leave them for today and stick to Plawn Clackers and Peking Duck!

Another view of no Dippers!
Right, we are off to do some late shopping, TM wants some sugar and OTL wants a woolly hat!

What ever turns you on!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Help! Our Legs are all worn out!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

Well, after yesterday what could go wrong?

We got a message through from the man who is driving he Articulated Truck, he is in Scotland and lost somewhere near Altnaharra, where ever that is!

But he has a problem, the roads are too tight to turn around so he is off to see if some where the road goes around in a circle and comes back again!

The Missus is not a Happy Crafter!

She decided this morning that she has been 'Inspired' and set about sloshing the glue pot around the caravan.

The ferrets went back to sleep under the blanket and Old Two Legs and us got told to 'Clear Orf' and don't come back until tonight!

We headed off to see a place thingy called The Strid, yeah we reckon it should have an 'e' on the end but they do things funny up this end of the country!

So, off we set walking along side the river.

At the start of out trip we normally get rid of any unwanted weight, so, one poo bag, two puppies and three poo's later we were trotting along the river bank singing our 'Walking Songs'!

That was until we arrived at the first Poo Bin!

OTL was in a good mood 'cos he had only used one poo bag on two doggies and three poo's, anything to save a copper or two!

We reckon it must be the air up here!

So, off we went trotting along the path by the side of the river.

Now this walk OTL had decided on went up one side of the river and then all the way back to the abbey, across the river again and back to the caravan site.

What he didn't tell us was it would mean a twelve mile walk!

Twelve Woofin Miles!

Now that wasn't the only surprise we got!

We found a couple of tree trunks on the ground and a seat made out of a fallen tree trunk, all of the had money driven into the cracks!
A Munny Branch Seat?
This was terrible! All that dosh just left in the tree for anyone to pickup!

OTL says that if he had his pliers with him he could have made a 'Withdrawal' from this branch!

On we marched for what seemed like hours and hours. Up and down the path went, some times it was like climbing a mountain and other times we thought we needed ropes and ice axes!

Finally we got back, OTL had decided of a couple of places he wanted to revisit and take photos and we had decided we needed a snooze!

Two Worn Out Woofers!
We were 'Cream Crackered' as OTL says and the rest of the afternoon was taken up with 'Resting'!

Not sure what we are going to mug off OTL but we know the first course is King Prawns!

Now we can't remember photos from the camera  the songs we were singing but 'Itchy Paw Like That' was on the list according to OTL, so that might have been us you heard as we went past!

See you all tomorrow and OTL says he is going to get his camera out 'cos transferring pictures from the phone to the computer is driving him potty!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

We are Here!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret are on holiday!

Wot a time we have had!

First it was me and my ear, which bye the way, is feeling better. Old Two Legs puts it down to the Steroids the vet has given me to take that has taken away the red colour on the inside of my ear and it doesn't hurt and I've even let OTL have a look inside my ear.

He couldn't see anything amiss!

Well, that took care of Sunday and on Monday OTL was on the phone to his dentist and got an appointment for 11:45hr, the earliest he could manage even though he said he was in screaming agony and his head was about to fall off!

Well, they patched his tooth and gave him some antibiotic tablets in case it went skeptik like wot it did last time!

Then they gave him the bill!

It was touch and go if we could afford a holiday after all that lot!

So, about half one we set off for the wilds of Yorkshire!

The first thing to happen was the Articulated Truck got lost somewhere around Welwyn Garden City and hasn't been seen since!

The Missus is going a little berserk screaming and howling down the phone to the contractors but even they don't know where the truck is!

Holly says that there is a Black Hole in the Hatfield area and the truck might have been transported anywhere in the universe or even Blackpool!

The rain started to pour down as we got further up the A1M and at times we could hardly see the road in front of us!

Then, as we got into Harrogate we came across a sign that told us the road ahead was closed to everyone except 'Local Traffic'!

Now, normally that it no problem 'cos OTL would just zoom off to the left and get around the holdup.

Not this time!

The roads were narrow and OTL is pulling a whacking great caravan behind the big car!

It was, as OTL says, HAIRY!

Finally we managed to get the Sat Nav to put us back on the right road and we passed the old Bolton Abbey which was really just a big pile of bricks!

It won't be long we cheered and whipped around a corner to find this stone arch someone had left in the middle of the road!

We all closed our eyes and put our paws over our noses, except for OTL!

We just managed to get through!

Talk about a tight squeeze!

So, at six thirty we got into the caravan site and it was dark, like very dim silly lights on boxes to show you where the 'Mains Connection' is!

OTL managed to get the caravan parked in the 'Pitch' but he was not quite lined up with the 'White Marker'.

Now this is something the Caravan Club Wardens are very strict about. Your caravan MUST be lined up with the marker post and the car MUST be on the left and the awning is on the right.

OTL was a little tired, the rain was making everything wet and OTL was getting a little short on good humour!

He planted the caravan, got out and went to the back where the 'White Marker' was sitting, looking all smug and saying something like 'Your not Exactly In Line'!

OTL grabbed the marker, gave it a good yank and out it came from the soggy ground.

Then OTL took one step to his right and plunged the marker back into the soggy earth.

OTL was In Line!

In the caravan TM was firing up all the stuff like lights, cooker, heating and hot water, only the hot water wouldn't work.

Well, it wouldn't work on electricity, only gas.

OTL did some fiddling with the electrics and wanted to test it using his Multi Meter but the Multi Meter wouldn't work 'cos the battery had run out!

Ho! Bug IT! Says OTL who didn't have a battery to save his name!

So, it was all down to logic now.

We knew the heater was working and so we swapped the fuse over from the heater to the hot water system.

While we were waiting for the water to heat up OTL went off to complete the filling of the water tank.

It was then that TM knocked on the window and said that the heating wasn't working now!

Ho! StuFF and Bug IT says OTL!

Now this is where all those wasted hours of playing 'Mine Sweeper' came into action.

Logic!

So, if the heating has stopped when the fuses were switched over to see if the water heater would work and the heating system stopped when the fuses were switched, it must be that the fuse is stuffed!

Swap fuses back and the heater starts working!

Inspect fuse to find water heater is just a 5amp fuse where the heating fuse is 10amp, solution, stick new 10amp fuse in water heating system!

We don't have a fuse!

OH! StuFF and Bug IT says OTL!

So, this afternoon we head into town and purchased two packs of fuses!

We now have hot water, heating that runs on electricity, spare fuses for any future problems!

The only thing we need is a new battery for the Multi Meter!

We'll get that tomorrow if we go into town!

So. there you are, we had problems but managed to get around them in the end!

OTL says he is going to have some shortbread tonight to smooth his heated brow!

Yeah, and something to wash it down with?

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Not Enough Room!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

What a day it's been today!

We have had to listen to Old Two Legs singing some silly song about 'All I want for Christmas is my One Front Tooth'!

Gawd! It has bee Soooooooo Boooooring!

Another thing is I've got a sore ear, like it is all red inside and I keep wanting to scratch it!

OTL did the inspection bit, then he washed out my ear with warm water and some Cotton Buds but there was nothing to see really.

Then, thinking it may be ear mites, he dusted both ears with this Thornit powder that he uses on the ferrets when they look like they have an itch!

Now, seeing as we are supposed to be off tomorrow for two weeks OTL decided that it would be best if the vet took a look at my ear, so, after a phone call I was bundled into the big car and off we went.

I didn't like the vet poking around and even though OTL held my muzzle and wrapped his arms around me, the vet still couldn't get a good look in my ear!

They were looking for bits of grass that may have got in my ear but they couldn't see anything.

I was given some steroid type medicine to last me over the holiday and we got instructions to contact the local vet if anything got worse!

It's bad enough having your own vet poking about without inviting another to have a go!

So, clutching a bottle of pills and a large bill we left the vet to head back home and work out how to fool me into taking the pills!

You know me and pills just don't seem to go together!

Well, I took the first one, wrapped up in a bit of chicken strip so it is 1-0 to OTL!

Down on the beach I was forbidden from rolling in the sand, even thought Holly and May were having a good roll in the sea weed!

There were loads of cloud and even though the sun was up it really didn't explode onto the beach!

Not the best sunrise we've seen!
Not being allowed to have a roll we had to just enjoy the sniffs!

Hey! Save some sniffs for me!
Lunchtime we just had to get out of the house. The Missus was showing off big time. The Articulated Truck just wasn't big enough to get all her craft stuff in and there wasn't a bigger one available!

TM is not a Happy Woofer!

On the way down on the beach we had to stop a few time 'cos the tourist just had to stop and ask questions about Fred and Wendy!

Just how many times have we got to stop!
Luckily for us the rain held off and the clouds stayed up in the air! Looking towards Essex there were some impressive clouds floating about!

Well, they look impressive to us!
Back home we packed up the 'Holiday Cages' for the ferrets and loaded up the big car with all the stuff we need to take. So, tomorrow we will be up early and with a bit of luck OTL will be able to blag his way into the dentist good and early to get his tooth sorted before heading up to Yorkshire for our holidays!

We'll let you know what happens tomorrow but it may be a bit late 'cos it all depends on OTL!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

The Packing is Going Well, well...........

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

It has been a 'Busy Day' today. It started off when The Missus pinched the car to take her stuff up the village hall. We had our breakfast, got Miss May all done up in her harness and Old Two Legs found his fleece with a hood.

So, there we were waiting for TM to return.

No TM.

Stuff this for a game of Woofers we decided, let's walk up to the hall and we'll meet TM coming back!

So, there we were waking along the country road, sniffing the sniffs and watching out for any stray cats that need a good woofing at!

OTL was in a good mood, he had closed the work computer down and had dispatched all the deliveries, paid all the invoices that he had received and he had even paid the Income Tax Bill!

So, there we were, enjoying a stroll, OTL was whistling some terrible tune when he suddenly stopped!

The whistling had stopped and he was looking down at his boots and muttering Bug It, or something like that.

We went back to see what was wrong and he said that his front tooth had just fallen out!

It was what he called a 'Crown' and it had fallen out before, after he had tried to eat a really crust roll!

This time it must have been his whistling that did it, all that vibration when he hit the top notes!

Well, he tried telephoning his dentist, they were shut today, so next stop is the 'Emergency Dentist', trouble is, they wouldn't touch his tooth 'cos he wasn't in great pain or his face was swollen and he couldn't see 'cos his eyes had closed!

All he wanted was for them to plug a hole for the next couple of weeks to keep the hole free from food stuff!

So, it looks like he will be on the phone first thing on Monday to get in to the dentist before we head off to the Yorkshire Dales.

Monday is going to be fun!

Right, back to today!

Miss May is learning from Holly and Me, you see when we want something we go and sit in front of TM or OTL and 'Talk' to them. May can't talk, so she just stands in front of what she wants and 'Noses' it.

Oi! Squeeze the bottle or I'll bite the Furry Thing!
We were late onto the beach but the tide was out so we did a bit of 'Dig and Whizz'!

Looks like rain!
We felt a few drops of rain so decided not to hang about too long. Even May got a good jog going back to the car park!

Come on, I feel rain on my nose!
Back home OTL was busy on the phone so we decided to finish off our packing. The ferrets had given us a list of stuff they want to take which included bedding and a roll of paper towelling to help soak up the wee!

Most important was the Chicken Strips and The Malt Paste Bits that help get rid of Fur Balls!

By the time we went out at lunchtime the rain had held off so we decided the have a game of 'Dig and Whizz' and even Freddy joined in and had a great time chasing Holly!

Look! A whizzing Ferret!
We spotted a Floating Brick off shore waiting for a couple of tugs to help it berth in Sheerness.

Can I come in yet?
Holly found a sniff and had a serious roll!

Holly Four Paws!
Freddy started to dig a trench but got distracted by Holly and me doing a seriously fast Dig and Whizz!

Now What are they doing?
It was a good job the tide was out or Holly wouldn't have joined in the Whizz 'cos I would have tried to lead her into the water!

The whole beach to Whizz on!
We got home and watched the F1 Qualifying and OTL only fell asleep once!

After that we helped OTL pack his camera stuff he wants to take away with us. He can't take everything 'cos there is not enough room in the car or even the Articulated Truck we have arriving tomorrow to pack all her crafting stuff!

Tomorrow we get the ferret cages out of the shed and get them all washed and clean before putting them in the Big Car ready for Monday!

I'll let you know what happens with the packing tomorrow!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Ball Games!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

You know it is getting darker and darker in the mornings. We woke up and it was pitch black, so we went back to sleep and stayed in bed a whole hour longer than normal!

By the time we got down the beach it was still dark and there was only a small bit of sun shine showing under the clouds!

Can the sun be late in getting up as well?
Miss May got Old Two Legs to carry her all the way to the beach cuddled up in his arm but when she got there she was running around at high speed!

We had a great time playing with the ball and digging a hole, even Holly joined in the game!

OK, who has first go?
May was jumping in and out of the hole while Holly was jumping over the top! Then May jumped into the hole and covered the ball with her tail!

OK, You win!
Mind you, I did a sneaky, while she was looking the other way I grabbed the ball and ran up the rock wall!

Let's see her dig a hole up here!
Back home we all started making a list of stuff we want to take away with us on holiday, Holly says she won't be packing her swimming costume 'cos we are not near the sea and the only water is a river!

OTL says that he will be taking his big camera and a couple of lenses so he can do some landscape photography.

The Missus has decided to take all her stuff and is considering getting an articulated truck and drive it up to the camp site herself!

The ferrets have left it to OTL to decide what they take 'cos they will be in their 'Holiday Cage' which is a lot smaller than their normal house cage!

OTL had a last minute order come in and had to get it delivered before lunch, so we got a chance of a snooze before the lunch time walk.

The tide had not come in so we had loads of sand to play in again. Wendy was digging a hole and I had a good game of pretending I was going to jump in the hole with her but instead I jumped right over the top!

I'll get you next time!
Holly had a good game as well, she found a small bit of wood and was running about throwing it high into the air!

She has always been very good at that game and can throw anything up in the air and pretend to catch it as well!

OK, next time on yer head!
We have just seen OTL shut the computer down, so that means we are now officially 'On Holiday'!

It's just the packing and dragging TM out of her Master Class tomorrow!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Freddy gets into Trouble, sort of!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

It is getting rather windy down this end of the world and it seems that the wind in coming from Scandinavia!

It certainly is bringing a load of cloud with it. Mind you, that means there are some super sun beam pictures!

Looking towards Grain.
When we got to the beach it had all changed again!  Old Two Legs waited a while and took this one but really, I prefer the view from just outside the village!

Sun Beams over the Isle of Sheppy!
There were a load of sniffs on the grass path and Miss May was getting as excited as Holly and I and May even got to have a roll in one of them!

Wow! These are just great!
Back home The Missus had gone out so we had the house to ourselves. It was good fun having a chase around and May did some serious 'Biscuit Nicking!'

When it was Fred and Wendy's turn to rampage, Freddy got into serious trouble!

He found a plastic shopping bag full of sponge ball thingy things that TM uses in her crafting game. She sort of splodges ink and paint and other stuff all over bits of paper and makes a right mess of it all.

Well, Freddy found this bag full of sponge thingy things and had a great time diving into the bag, grabbing hold of one, reversing out of the bag and then throwing the sponge thingy over his shoulder and diving back into the bag again.

There were loads of these sponge thingy things and they were scattered all over the floor!

OTL had to pick them all up but as he was putting them back in the bag, Freddy was pulling them out again!

Freddy got the 'Warning Finger Waggle' and OTL had to put the bag up on TM's desk, out of Freddy's reach!

We had a couple of deliveries to make before lunch time but after that we headed for the beach again.

It was still blowing a gale on the beach so we didn't hang about too long.

Fred and Wendy dug a small hole but because we didn't have a ball to bury they lost interest and chased after OTL up the beach to the grass path!

It really isn't a good hole without a ball to bury!
I found a dead crab on the beach and just had to have a roll!

I rather like the sniff of dead crab, it reminds me of the sea side!

Oooooooo! This is Super!
Back home OTL cooked up some chicken bits for us and as they were warm and greasy they slipped down a treat!

I'm not sure what OTL has for dinner tonight but you can be sure we will help him eat it!

Now, we didn't know Michael had a blog, his last one on Blogspot was never updated. Has he got it located somewhere we can see it?

Don't say Face Ache 'cos we don't do Face Ache but if he has a blog we can see, that would be fun!

See you tomorrow!

A Windy Day on the beach!

Hi Woofers!

Us here, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Have we been busy today or wot!

It started off by staying in bed a full three quarters of an hour longer than normal!

Really it is all down to The Missus keeping us awake with her snoring!

Once she starts no one can get to sleep, and that includes the ferrets!

So, we turn up on the beach a bit later than normal and the sun was well up in the sky, so no dramatic sun rises!

Mind you, Miss May had fun digging in the sand and I had a game with the ball as well.

OK, all I need now is a ball to bury!
Holly and I were a bit further on down the beach getting stuck into a really good looking hole, just right for a rubber ball!

No, this is the place, I just know it!
What we both didn't see was a streak of white as Little Miss Sneaky Knickers May come flying along the beach and jump straight into the hole and grab the ball!

Wot The Woof is This??????
That was it, hole digging stopped and it took Old Two Legs to prise the ball away from May!

Back home OTL loaded up the big car with loads of stuff for delivery and while he wasn't looking, Holly and I sneaked into the car and hid behind the seats!

It was only a mile or two down the road that we woofed out a big 'Boo'! and scared the woof out of him!

We did most of the deliveries and with just two left he stopped off at the Doggy Shop!

Now, because Holly and I had sneaked into the car, OTL didn't have our lead so he said we had to stay in the car. That made us very sad and Holly even began to show off!

That was until OTL came back with a lead and a yoke!

He had gone in and purchased this new lead, just so we can go in and enjoy the sniffs as well as show him what we want to take away with us!

So, with the boot loaded up with holiday goodies and a new lead, off we went to do the last of the deliveries.

When we had finished, we were very near the Riverside Park and of course we asked if we could got for a walk!

OTL didn't have any poo bags but as he had supplied all the radios for the park people he went in and got some poo bags free of charge!

It's not what you know but who you know, well, that's what OTL says!

Back home we picked up Fred and Wendy and off down to the beach again!

The wind was rather strong and the waves had 'White Horses' dancing on top of them.

Race you to the beach Holly Chops!
I was all for a swim but when I got close to the water I decided that maybe just a paddle would be a good idea!

Freddy had fun running along the wall of shells that the sea had washed up last night.

Holly kept a close watch on him, just in case he found a ball!

No Ball Here!
As the tide was coming in we had to keep a close watch in case it rushed up the beach and soaked Fred and Wendy!

Watch out! It's coming for us!
Back home OTL found some more orders had arrived so he has been spending the afternoon and evening getting them all sorted before he shuts up shop for our holiday!

All Work and a Little Play!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holy, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back again!

Well, it seems we have the best of the weather down here in North Kent! Mind you, we are wondering what it will be like when we head off on our holidays up to North Yorkshire.

Will there be howling gales and snow and rain and ice?

We are just not used to that stuff so early before Christmas!

Oooops! I mentioned Christmas!

Sorry!

Down on the beach this morning I managed to get a spot all to myself where I could have a really good dig!

Let them try ti find the ball now!
As you would guess, I wasn't left along for long. Before long, along came Miss May who shoved her nose into my hole and made a grab at my ball!

Come on, share the ball!
In the end I let her have a play with the ball while I went on a sniff along the beach!

It wasn't long before I discovered a Shore Crab who was catching some rays and when I got close it waved its claws at me!

I need some Factor 35 on my tummy!
Back home we left Old Two Legs alone 'cos he is busy trying to get all the orders out before the end of the week!

I went off to find the chew I had left under OTL's pillow and spent the morning making piles of crumbs under the duvet!

Lunchtime the sun was out but there was a stiff breeze, not that it worried us and Holly even challenged me to a race!

Come on Daisy Dog, catch me if you can!
Holly really had the pickle in her today. As soon as she got to the beach she was rolling around in the sand and kicking her legs into the air!

This is soooooooo Gooooood!
After her roll on the beach she sat down to watch the ships go by.

She didn't notice that Freddy Boy was creeping up behind her. He was just about to grab Holly's tail when she noticed him out the corner of her eye!

Watch it Shorty, your getting close to being buried in the sand along with that ball!
Just to be on the safe side, Holly got up and wandered off to sniff the crab we saw this morning but it had either moved off or got 'Rescued' by a sea gull!

Back home Holly has spent the afternoon snoozing on the sofa watching the birds in the garden. I was helping OTL packing all the stuff up ready for delivery tomorrow.

If the weather is OK we plan to give the caravan a wash and also the big car so when we go away we will all be smart and clean!

We are looking forward to meeting up with Izzy, Hamish and Bella. OTL fell for Bella when she came down for a visit. Now it sounds like she has got all grown up!

I'm off to find out what is for dinner!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.
