A Sleepy Day!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Wet, Wet and Wet.

That's what it has been today and we have been getting wet every time we went out the door!

Take this morning first thing, normally we get up with The Missus when it is still dark outside, run down the garden, have a quick wee and back to bed.

Well, today it was the quickest wee I can remember and it is always difficult trying to wee when there is rain pouring down on your head!

So, this morning we were out and back before you could realise and then dried using our doggy towels and up to the bed for a snooze while we dry off and also let Old Two Legs clear the ferret cages out!

Holly always likes a cuddle with Wilfred the Bear!

It was the same at lunchtime, we headed off to the golf course and got soaked through to our skin, did our stuff and almost ran back home!

We got rubbed down again with our Doggy Towels and headed for somewhere warm and dry to help get rid of the damp!

OTL had a heavy lunch and took his afternoon nap, providing me with the perfect place to spend the afternoon!

You know there are places and There Are Places to snooze!

 See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Back to the old path!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

I don't know about you but Wednesday has always been a bit of a nothing day being half way through the week. Today we looked out the window and saw that the sun was creeping up to the horizon so we woofed Old Two Legs awake as there may be a sunrise.

By the time we got him all dressed and organised into his big jacket the sun had got up, had a bath and was heading off to work!

Still, we managed to run off some pictures of which the first one of the frozen gas stowage thingys looked all dramatic!

The second was taken as we headed around the old golf course and in fact is a picture of the Welsh Flag that was being ripped apart by the wind and slowly disintegrating!

You can just see the Welsh Dragon with it's back end missing!

Looking to the left we can see the Thames and the ships passing on their way up or down river. We saw the ferry heading off to the Continent on the early morning run.

Our morning was spent woofing at the postman and anyone else passing the front of our house.

Eric and Wendy had fun playing chase and when they got too tired the fell asleep in the pile of shopping bags and doggy towels!

We did ask Eric and Wendy if they wanted to come out at lunchtime but they both decided that bed was a better option!

When we got down to the sea front, we spotted another ship passing. It amazes me of just how high they can stack those containers; makes you wonder how they see where they are going!

By the way, that is Southend on Sea in the background!

We had a pleasant walk around the forest and picked up a couple of new sniffs. Holly pointed out that we haven't seen any rabbits of late, I mean, at one time we were always chasing rabbits but now they seem to stay underground.

Not a rabbit to be seen and where is the squirrel that supposed to be living here?

So, that's it Wednesday has come and gone, maybe tomorrow we will see a rabbit or squirrel to get excited about!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
