Once upon a time!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, a bit of a yucky day today. We were up late this morning and by the time we got out the woofers we normally see were heading for home and the rain had started! Needless to say, Holly and I were there and back with as little time wasting as possible, I mean, who wants a wet tail?

Being Sunday, it has been a lazy day, fiddling about in the office and The Missus has been putting the finishing touches to a commission she received early last year!

Then on top of that she has been on Zoom or Facetime or the Google thing so she can gas to all her mates who are slapping glue and sprinkle dust all over the place!

Lunchtime the rain had stopped but it was still a bit cold so as soon as we got back, Holly and I headed to the office desk while Old Two Legs has been sorting out all his photographs from ages ago!

I mean, just look at this one!

Yes! It's me all of three months old!

Now. what about this one? OTL and I used to go out bird watching and after a while I used to get a little worn out, so, OTL would give me a lift on his haversack until my energy came back.

Here I am at all of six months old!

We got loads of old photos, some of just me and others of Holly and me when she used to come visiting!

Having a rest in the garden!

OTL has been watching some more of the Star Wars box set and I've been cuddled up on his lap, snoozing!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Snow, Wot Snow?

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Reading Archie Babes post yesterday I see he has had some snow! So far, we have had nothing but cold and frost and like Archie we don't like the wet and even more so we don't like cold and wet!

Today has been another dismal day, cloudy and grey. The only excitement we had was woofing the roof off when the dustbin men called this afternoon.

We do love woofing at them and I'm sure they enjoy it as well cos some of them go 'Woof' back to us which of course makes us woof even more!

We still wore our Sheep Skin coats today and I must admit, it is rather warm, especially in this cold!

I suppose we will get gloves when it really gets cold!

The conifers are still green, I mean, they do drop the spines but when it snows the spines make sure the snow slips off cos there's nothing to hang onto!

When autumn comes we might see Crossbill birdies opening up the cones to get at the seed.

The conifers look very interesting when you look at both the spines and the cones. These trees produce some very big cones but even the small cones look interesting!

The cones take a year or two to get big enough to act as seeds.

This afternoon we have been relaxing in front of the TV watching the complete Star Wars set of DVD's from Solo all the wat to 'Here Comes the Jedi'!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
