Today has been a little boring!

 Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Now, all this rain we have been having over the last few weeks is really boring. I mean, there we are all ready for our morning walk, all sunshine and balmy breezes but as soon as we get to the old golf course, down comes the rain!

This morning Eric decided he would join us for a walk and as he got ready to charge off into the grass, down came the rain and Eric got wet!

Mind you, so did Old Two Legs, Holly and I!

When it got to lunchtime Eric kept his nose under the blanket in his bed and pretended to be asleep!

We thought that lunchtime would be a repeat but we managed to stay dry for almost all the walk. Holly kept looking behind her at some rain clouds that were heading our way and giving a good impersonation of a hurricane heading over the hills!

There's a big one hiding behind the Two Trees!

I had managed to get down onto the beach for a sniff and a small roll in something that felt like a mouldering crab!

Well, it looks like a crab and it sniffs like a crab, so, it must be a crab!

OTL chased me off the crab which was a good thing 'cos just as we got to the hill, the rain started to come down on us!

A quick dash to the forest and we were under the trees which managed to keep the rain off us.

We have been getting loads of plant growth on our drive and also in front of the garage. Today OTL filled up the spray can and loaded it up with some nasty weed killer and headed for the garage.

Now, he poured the weed killer over the stuff in front of the garage door and then on the growth on the drive and on a couple of strange looking plants on the path at the side of the house.

Now, you are supposed to water the plants and leave it to soak into the green bits and dry in the sun. Well, what happened?

Yep! It rained and washed all the weed killer off the leaves and down the drain!

I can see OTL having another got on Wednesday when to is forecast that the sun will shine and the rain will have gone!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

A most relaxing Sunday!

 Hi Woofers,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

I do like Sundays, it's a sort of day where you can sit back and do nothing and enjoy it without feeling guilty!

Mind you, if I'm relaxing on any day, I don't feel guilty at all!

First thing this morning Eric was up at the cage door giving it a good rattle and that can only mean that he wants to come out with us!

As it wasn't raining, he enjoyed a run around the old golf course and then across the football field and home. After a couple of hours chasing Wendy around the house he climbed into his bed and didn't wake up until late this afternoon when he got up for a poo and some late lunch!

Lunchtime it was just starting to rain as we walked along the sea front. Holly grumbled that she didn't like the rain and looked all grouchy until the rain stopped a few yards later!

  I just don't do wet!

Looking across the River Medway you could see the rain clouds gathering up more rain and getting ready to drop it all on us!

A good reason not to hang about looking for flowers and bugs!

When we got to the bench I jumped up and started sniffing the air, looking for weekend sniffs like Kebabs and fish and chips but the wind was in the wrong direction and all I could sniff was the diesel engine of the boats passing by!

You can't sniff diesel, they make your nose twitch!

Old Two Legs turned me around so he could get a picture but I was so dissapointed that I had missed a Kebab sniff that it looks like I'm showing off!

I'm not showing off, honest!

OTL then went off looking for bugs to photograph because both Holly and I didn't fancy tarting about and looking like models!

You try posing while hanging onto the side of a leaf!

This bug kept on swinging on the leaf as the wind blew and tried to knock him off the leaf!

In the end the bug just spread its wings and headed off deeper into the field!

So that was it really, we watched the F1 Racing which was a little boring, no serious overtaking and almost everyone ended up in the same position that they had started.

So much for street racing!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
