Hi Woofers!
It's Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.
What a change from the last few days, the grass was wet from the dew and after the morning walk The Missus managed to bring half a ton of grass onto the carpet and then had the cheek to blame me!
While I'm out in the mornings, Old Two Legs cleans out the ferret cages and while that is being done the ferrets are allowed out of the cage for a serious rampage around the house!
When I get back, I'm packed off to the bedroom for a snooze and a nibble of my teeth cleaning chew.
Now, a ferret is a playful thing and Eric, being a right pickle of a ferret, rushes around collecting the squeaky balls and hiding them under the furniture or upstairs in TM's store room!
After that is all done Eric then has a game with OTL.
Having retrieved the last squeaky toy, OTL gets Eric running around in circles while OTL kneel on the floor teasing Eric by squeezing the ball and making a terrible noise!
Eric just loves it and even climbs up OTL's front and onto his shoulder and down his back and onto the floor!
Now a ferret just loves playing, eating and most of all, sleeping! After all this rampaging Eric heads for the hammock in his cage and within a couple of minutes there he is, fast asleep in true ferret fashion!
I think we should give him a new name, how about Eric de Snooze?
Lunchtime we were down the sea wall again and you know, that water was still a long way out, almost to the horizon!
My hope is that when it finally does come back, it will stay in for as long as it's been out!
Well, the birds like it when the mud is there, that means they get to eat all the food in the mud!
Looking at the forecast, I reckon it will be cloudy all day tomorrow, if so, OTL says he will invite Eric out for a run along the sea wall!
That will be fun!
