A wet F1 Race?

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

Hello Auntie Sarn, haven't seen you for a little while and just like us, it's good that you like Fridays and lazy weekends!

Poor Archie Babe, after all that training your TL still manages oversleep by over half an hour!!!!!?????

We will have to send Eric up to see you, when he's on the rampage, nobody sleeps!

Just for a change, we were out early this morning and it had only just got light by the time we were out over the old golf course.

The ferrets were out and rampaging when I got back and had to get up to the bedroom before they spotted me!

Miss Wendy seems to be sleeping all day and all night, getting up only for a wee and a poo and something to eat, I've never known a ferret sleep so much!

I do enjoy my after-walk snooze. While the ferrets are crashing around and Old Two Legs is searching for them under the sofa, I roll onto my back, stick my paws into the air and dance on the ceiling until I fall asleep!

When we went out at lunchtime, we could feel some drops of rain as we marched across the football field.

  I got a drop of rain on my nose!

  When we got around the corner, we could see a rain cloud coming in off the North Sea!

 Now for some high-speed weeing before that lot lands on my tail!

 Mind you, looking up the River Medway and across to Sheerness it didn't seem so bad. Just the bit that was heading for us looked like it means business!

 

  There is a wild plant that has a bunch of white flowers on its head and instead of dropping the bloom it folds up into a ball. This is what it looks like before folding up. Don’t know what it's called but it is the only plant we know that does this. I'll show you tomorrow what the folded-up flower head looks like.

 

Some sort of Parsley we think or it could even be Hemlock!

 We had the F1 Qualifying today, loads of rain and skidding and crashing, let’s hope tomorrow it will be dry. I don't like it when it rains, you can't see much and crashes are no good for anyone!

A Cuddle with OTL.

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again!

I do love Fridays, get up a bit later, then there's the start of the weekend and of course, there is the dustbin men to woof at as they collect our well sorted and separated rubbish that I had a wee over on my way out for the morning walk!

 After a wander around the old golf course, I headed for the bedroom for a snooze while the ferrets go out for a rampage around the house.

Now, rampaging can be rather taxing and it is not unusual to find Wendy tucked up in the doggy towels and Eric just loves the hiding places under the sofa!

Today Eric came out from under the sofa and crawled up onto Old Two Legs lap then into his arms where he fell asleep!

 

There is nothing like a cuddle with OTL!

Like most ferrets, they like to wriggle around as they got comfortable and soon Eric wriggled into a soft position under OTL's chin and stayed like that until OTL tucked him up under the blanket on the hammock.

 

The best place to be when you want a snooze and a cuddle!

 The Missus was on Zoom all morning gassing with her mates and sloshing glue about all over the place. If it's not glue then it's inky stuff. We will not need to decorate her workshop, there is so much stuff that has been flung about the glitter almost blinds you if you turn on the lights!

Lunchtime came and we were off to the sea wall and noticed that the trees were showing berries already.

Autumn is coming!

We have noticed that the blackberries are swelling up as well!

 Another thing I noticed, the water had gone as well! I mean, when it comes in, it doesn't last more than a couple of days and then it's out again!

No water again! Maybe I should have a roll in the mud instead!

 Still, a small bonus, I can roll in the sand instead!

 There you are having a roll in a sniff and there is always someone looking at you!

 OTL went off looking for bugs and stuff but only found a butterfly feeding on the last of the flowers.

I wonder what winter will be like this year, I mean, we haven't seen snow for years!

Never mind the snow, just give me nectar and a sunny day!

 So, that's it for today, OTL had a big curry for lunch and has spent most of the afternoon snoozing! It's a good job it's Friday and he can close early for the weekend!
