Another Fiddly Diddly Photo!

Well, I tried to get Old Two Legs up nice and early. I mean, a really good licking on his bald head normally gets the old duffer to stir but this morning he had his head under the duvet and was snoring his tail off!

When he finally did make 'Waking Up' noises it was past sunrise. Mind you, I looked out the window and didn't see any red skies so, even if we were down the sea front, I don't think there was and spectacular sights to be seen.

We parked up by the side of the football field and looked over to where the sun was and I must admit, it didn't look as if it was going to produce anything exciting.

 Just the merest glimmer over the tops of the trees!

 It wasn't until we got around the corner that we found something to switch the camera on for.

The sun was hiding behind the clouds and a quick Fiddly Diddly with the White Balance produced a shot that was worth taking.

Back home and I decided to crash out on the bed and let OTL get on with the cage cleaning.

Miss Wendy was having fun running around the lounge and hiding in amongst the towels and cardboard tubes.

Eric was playing Hide & Seek up in The Missuses store room and has found a comfy little spot behind a mass of plastic boxes full of card making stuff.

When Eric came out, he says he had a dream where the Vet told him he didn't need to come back again for a month!

He asked OTL if he could keep the money, he saved on vet’s fees and could he put it in his money box so he could spend it when he went away on holiday!

I won't tell you what OTL said but Eric says it is up 'For Discussion'!

Eric spends more money at the vets!

Hello Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

We were up early this morning, as you know, Eric had an appointment at the vets so the morning walk was done in darkness, even before the sunrise!

So, no camera to take a picture of the sunrise, mind you it was cloudy so we don't think there would be any sunny bits anyway!

I retired to my bed while Eric got woken up before his time and so did Wendy but Wendy got her butt washed while Eric got a lick of ferret oil before getting put in the traveling cage!

Eric says that he was rolled over onto his back and was blasted by the Cryopen while he was slurping the oil and a couple of times, he could feel the Cryopen attacking the tumour, which put him off the ferret oil for a moment or two!

The vet was very pleased with the condition of the treatment and said that she wants Eric back again in two weeks and after that we could leave it a bit longer between visits!

So, it looks like we are beating this tumour, it's been a long and expensive treatment but OTL says that Eric is worth it!

Old Two Legs has had a sore throat for a few days and a small cough, so, just to make sure, he has got one of these Rapid Flo Test kits to get himself checked out. A visit to the NHS site was a waste of time as they didn't have any in stock and suggested we go to our local chemist and when telephoned them, they didn't have any in stock either!

A neighbour of ours had a test kit spare and kindly let us have that.

OTL found there were no instructions in the box so had to go onto the NHS web site for a view of the instructions and after watching it four times, decided to have a go!

Now he has had two of these tests before but that was a year or two ago and he had forgotten that taking a sample on the swab first of all made you want to throw up!

The second sample is taken from the back of your nose and if you get the right spot, your eyes water terribly!

Well, he followed instructions and thirty minutes later he got the result............ALL CLEAR!

So, it looks like it could be the beginning of a cold or worse, flu. He has had his flu jab so my money is on a cold.

I can see that he will be taking what he calls a 'medicinal' slurp of the single malt!

Any excuse!
