Sunshine and wind!

 Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy here again.

After yesterday’s snowy weather it is good to get the bit of sunshine we got today.

Our early morning walk was promising a sunny day 'cos looking at the Two Trees there was no sign of a cloud anywhere!

Well, OK, just a little bit over the Isle of Sheppey but over us, not a cloud to be seen!

We saw a couple of woofers but being a Saturday, everyone was late in getting up!

It was better at lunchtime and when we got to the car park Old Two Legs decided that I didn't need my Flying Jacket and were it not for the wind it would have been a very pleasant day!

Just look at that sky!

I decided to go along the middle path 'cos there were a couple of woofers on the sea wall. Of course, they recognised OTL, rand up to him and got their tails tickled as a recognised reward!

Once they had gone, I was down on the beach, digging holes and then rolling in a sniffy bit of sea weed!

The sniffier the better!

After that we were over the hill and into the meadow where the Slippy Cows were.

OTL calls them Cow Slips but I know better!

Now, being Spring is now well under way, the wild life is coming out and here is the first Bee we have seen this year, excluding the one Bumble Bee we saw a couple of weeks ago!

OTL is not sure but he thinks this is a female Hairy-footed flower bee!

He can't be 100% sure but the description and information he got from his Bee Book points to a Hairy-footed.

Mind you, a bit later on we will get the Hairy-arsed bee!

Tomorrow, we expect it to get warmer and with a bit of luck as the week progresses it will be all sunshine and flowers!

OTL reckons that with the emergence of the bugs he should be fitting his Macro Lens (105mm)!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.

Rain, Snow and Slippy Cows!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy here!

It's been a bit chilly today. We have seen wind, rain and snow and at times all three at the same time!

Just as we were going out first thing Old Two Legs took a look at the front of the house and announced that the clouds had a dose of dandruff!

Now that's a bit silly but he gets like that sometimes!

Mind you I did get dressed up in my warm flying jacket!

Snow or dandruff?

It didn't last long and going down to the sea front it came and went a couple of times but when we got to the beach it had all cleared up but looking over our shoulders you could see some more heading our way from Southend on Sea!

On top of the rain and snow, the wind was blowing the tide onto the beach and judging by the waves it looked like it could have been a Spring Tide!

No matter where you looked the waves were charging right up the beach!

I got down on the beach and had some fun running up and down on the sand but it got a bit close to me when I was digging holes and had to run back to OTL before the waves got to me!

Save me, it's chasing me up the beach!

That was a close one!

Once we got over the hill the wind dropped and we stopped to look at the flowers. OTL said they were Cow Slips but I know them as Slippy Cows, well that's what Holly used to call them!

So that's it for today, looking out the window the blue sky has returned. Let's hope that it gets warmer tomorrow!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.
