F1 and a load of Slippy Cows!

 Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy Dog again!

Just for a change it hasn't rained today, last night or early this morning it was but not while I've been out!

If you ignore the early morning breeze, it has been a pleasant day today.

Old Two Legs decided to try photographing the sunrise buy to be honest he's got more chance of photographing the Aurora than he has the sun!

Let’s face it, the sun is on top of the photo!

We went over the hill and down onto the meadow and found the slippy cows were showing well.

OTL said that with all the slippy cows in the field reminds him that the Oxeye Daisies will be out soon!

A whole field of Slippy Cows!

It took a little while but he finally managed to creep up on a cow and get a reasonable shot!

Not bad for a 35mm lens, quite good Bokeh as well!

The afternoon walk wasn't too bad, there were a few woofers I know and a few I didn't so I stuck to the ones I do know and we all had fun sniffing each other’s butt!

The F1 Qualifying was on today from Australia. The race is tomorrow and we are expecting some fun and games.

With the new rules and design conditions put on the cars this year it is almost painful watching the drivers’ heads bouncing up and down like demented frogs!

That's it for today, OTL wants the laptop back 'cos he is trying some programming which is not going very well!

You should hear the language!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.

We've got a new knocker!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy here!

It's been a bit of a mix up today. Old Two Legs was up early this morning and out with me earlier than normal. That means he has something going on!

The sunrise happened an hour or two earlier but we managed to get a Moody shot using the 105mm lens.

This carrier came out of the Medway around Sheerness Docks, then it turned 'Port' and headed up the Thames!

It seems that more and more containers or carriers are using the Thames Docks nowadays.

We sort of bumped into the pack of hooligansalong the sea wall but headed off into the forest and missed them all.

A right bunch of hooligans!

We headed back home and while I was having a snooze on the bed, OTL crept out of the house and headed off to see one of his customers, problem was, he got tangled up with the twenty-mile jam on the M20 caused by truck drivers trying to get into Dover and the ferries!

It was mid-afternoon by the time he got back and on the insistence of The Missus, OTL had to install a door knocker!

You see, all these carriers that bring stuff to the house seem not to be able to see the Electronik Door Bell screwed to the wall and all lit up like Christmas Tree. Instead of pressing the door bell, they bang on the door or the window and if you don't open the door withing a couple of seconds they leave the parcel propped up against the door.

So, to help TM know when there is a delivery, OTL has now installed a fine brass knocker that when used, sounds like a cannon discharging with a  mighty boom!

It's not everyone who has a fine brass knocker like this!

So, now that it is installed, everyone who has delivered today has used the electronik bell, no one has touched the knocker!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.

Wind, Rain All Night!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy Dog here again!

Well now, last night started off all warm and comfortable but not long after midnight it started. The rain started hammering against the bedroom window aided and abated by the wind that was trying to blow the rain up and under the roof tiles!

You know it even woke Old Two Legs up and that is almost impossible in normal times!

It carried on almost all night and it was only just as it was getting light that the rain stopped.

The wind carried on until mid-afternoon.

So, walking in such terrible conditions was just not on. OTL left the camera in the car and when he got out of the car, he nearly got blown across the football field!

Both morning and afternoon was the same and he had to walk with the hood on his big coat pulled right up over his head!

We were lucky that there were no trees blown down, just a few hedges strewn across the road but we managed to drive around them!

So, that's it for today, OTL is off working after my morning walk, so I will have to get him up early and claws crossed, out of the house in plenty of time!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy Dog!
