Success!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy here.

Well, have we got good news, OTL has been fiddling with the camera settings and after much pulling of hair, he hasn't got much, plus the swearing all manner of curses he has finally got to photograph a captured moth and get the colour plus focus to be almost true to life!

There we go, a Triple Line Moth, in true colour!

To celebrate his success, he took a shot of a bramble bush with new leaves!

It's a pity he doesn't look at the camera settings before hitting the shutter release!

You can tell it's all mucked up when he took a picture of the Medway Fort.

It's a bit dark OTL!

It didn't get any better when the container ship came sailing up the Thames.

Once we got into the meadow OTL sat down at the bench and set all the controls to where they should be and to prove it, he took a shot of the Oxhide Daisies over the back of the field.

Or should it be oxeye daisy?

Whatever it should be, I was getting a bit tired of telling him where to set the controls and I decided to have a little rest as he wandered off!

You'd think that he would look behind him to see if I was still there!

It was only when he got to the poo bin, took a shot and then looked behind!

I didn't mind 'cos he had the controls all sorted!

Where you bin OTL?

I'm off now for a pre sleep snooze and I might even get some nibbles as well!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.

Hello Devo!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy here.

A very good start to Monday, we met up with Devo!

It was great to see him again after almost a week!

We had a great time investigating the overnight sniffs and left a few for anyone who is coming on behind us!

My mate Devo!

Back home we opened up the moth trap and found two new moths.

Heart & Dart..........common as muck!

A Common Wainscot, another common as muck moth!

OTL spent the morning fiddling with the camera bits and although he could get the size and colour right, he had trouble with the flash exposure.

In the end he gave up and went back into his 'Thinking Mode' which can also be described as 'Back to the Drawing Board'!

If all else fails, photograph a Holly Blue as it's not so common as the moths we have seen!

The wind got up and at high tide it was whipping the waves up only to send them crashing onto the shore.

Wet and Windy!

The weather should pick up as the week progresses so cross claws, I might be able to get some sun bathing in before the week is out!

Bye for now,

Luv,

Daisy.
