A Sunrise!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy here with a surprise for you!

Now, as you know, the one thing we have been missing out on in the mornings is a sunrise.

These grey cloudy mornings can be depressing at best. So, it was great to see the sky lit up as we headed along the main Grain high road. So, it was foot down on the go pedal and down to the sea front to capture these!

First of all it was a little too dark, so, with a little fiddly diddly.

This was a little better.

This one was taken pointing up the Medway, the shadow looked interesting

A quick fiddle and the shadow on the other side.

Back to waiting for the sun.

It was certainly taking its time creeping over the horizon.

This was the last shot and to be honest, OTL is best pleased with this shot!

So that's it really for today, last of the shopping has been done, the presents have been wrapped and I've sniffed them all to make sure there are some that can be classed as edible!

Those are the ones I like the best!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.

The shortest day!

 Hi Woofers,

Daisy here.

Well, this is a once-a-year day!

If you are into it, you should all have been down Stonehenge dancing around in your undies and blowing cow horns to mark the day!

You see it is the shortest day today and everything starts going forwards again and tomorrow the daylight time starts to increase again!

I know this cos I've been reading the notes that Holly had made regarding ancient rites!

It's a pity that we didn't see the sunrise this morning but at least we remembered it was the latest in getting up time!

It's been a snoozy day today and TM has started her Christmas celebrations by chilling and then opening the first bottle of bubbly and she even let OTL have a small glass full.

He gets the Champers glass while she gets the half pint mug!

Well, TM has been wandering around the house singing carols and chanting poems about Christmas, starting with, 'We Three Queens in the Three Ale Bar,'

Then there's the 'It was the night before Christmas and all through the house', a song about rat stuffin and mouse droppings!

It's a good job OTL gets to keep his single malt whisky to himself!

I can see that this Christmas is going to be a right boozy time!

OTL's fingers are still soft and there is plenty of time for them to harden up but at his age it is going to take a bit longer that it did when he was younger!

He has been trying to play 'The Sound of Silence' and after an hour and a half, that is all I wish for!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.
