Day #2 with the Snow Fairy

A Snowy Hello to you all,

I hope you all have been having fun in the snow. School has been closed so all the children have stayed home to play in the snow. Great fun they have on their sledges!

I had fun running around the football pitch, loads of snow!

Dancing with the Snow Fairy
I must tell you one thing I've found out.

If I stay like this for too long, I get a cold wet bottom!

See you all tomorrow!

Me & The Snow Fairy

Hello Everyone!

Did I get a Surprise this morning!

I opened the curtain and looked out in the garden, the Snow Fairy has returned and bought all her family with her. It must be a big family 'cos they have covered everywhere!

I couldn't wait to go out to say hello, it was BRILLIANT!

Me & My Mate The Snow Fairy
Old Two Legs put my coat on and took me out for a run across the fields, there were loads of Fairy's out there. I had such a time running and chasing them, I even rolled around on my back!

I went to see if the rabbits were coming out to play, but there was no answer to my woofing, maybe they were still in bed!

Anyone Home?
When I got home I was all wet and a little cold on my legs, so OTL gave me a good rubbing down with my very own special doggy towel followed by a good brush, all over.

It was, Absolute Heaven!

It has been a Great Day!

Hope you had fun as well!

I've seen Them!!!!

Oh WOW!

I've seen them! I've SEEN Them!!!

The Missus took me out for a walk across the fields and all of a sudden, there, floating down onto the ground came the Snow Fairy's, they were Beautiful!

I jumped around trying to catch them in my mouth but they seem to disappear too quickly. I saw them land on the ground and I jumped on them to hold one down with my paw so I can say 'Hello', but when I looked under my paw, they'd gone! Sneaky Snow Fairy's!!

Then all of a sudden, they all stopped flying around and were gone, I hope it was not something I did! TM says they will be back again soon and I'm not to worry.

Old Two Legs and I went out in the car, something to do with his work. On the way back we stopped off by the sea side and had a run along the beach and over the rocks.

I played Captain 'Dangerous' Daisy all over the rocks and pretended I had been marooned by my scurvy crew led by 'Old Salty Dog' Two Legs!

Marooned!
I had a big battle with him and I won, again!

Hard Tack  and water for him and no whisky, for a whole week!

What happened to the snow?

A Big Hello to you all,

I don't know about you but here we seemed have missed the snow. I've been looking out the window all day and no sign of it at all. I was looking forward to chasing the Snow Fairy's!

Still, OTL and I went out for a long run through the woods and met loads of other doggy's. Here is me making friends with a four legged carpet!

Me and a carpet!
We went all over the woods, OTL taking pictures.

Frosty Ferns.
I played at 'Pirates' again, Captain 'Dangerous' Daisy sails again!

Captain 'Dangerous' Daisy
It was fun, but not as much fun as if Holly was here as well.

OTL would not run along the tree trunk like Holly would!

See you all soon!

Brrrrr!

Hi To You All!

Oh Boy! was it cold or what! I went out first thing and all the puddles had turned to ice, slippy, slippy, I was skating and sliding around all over the place!

TM made me put my coat on to keep the cold out, jolly good idea that and OTL's sewing made it all snug and warm for me!

I went for a walk with OTL along the coast wall, cold, a little windy but fun. I was glad to get back home though. It was COLD!

My bottom is cold!

As a treat, TM got me some stewing steak and cooked it up for me, Absolutely Fabulous! I've not had steak all to myself before, I've retired to the bed and have spent the evening asleep.

Life can be so good sometimes!

See you later,

Daisy

Fun Friday

Hello Everyone,

I've had a good day today, OLT took me out this morning over the fields and it was COLD! There was frost on the ground and the plants and the wind seemed to go right through you!

I had some fun sniffing the frozen plants while OTL played around with his camera taking pictures of the plants. Me, I'd rather sniff them than take pictures!

Frosty Grass

Well, we have been out delivering OTL's work stuff and picking stuff up and also we stopped a few times for walkies. I got mugged by a couple of small puppies, about four months old, but they were BIG, I've never seen Jack Russell's so ENORMOUS! Honest!

We got back home in time for some lunch and a game of 'Tiggle My Tum'. OTL starts off by rubbing my head but I roll over and put my legs in the air and he tiggles my tummy and oh boy, does that make me laugh!

Tiggle my Tum!

This weekend we may get some snow, or so OTL says,

Not too sure what snow is but OTL says it's like 'Fairy's' that I love to chase. So, I'm looking forward to that!

Have a good weekend and see you soon

Whoops!

Hi All!

I found this photo from this years holiday, I say this year, but, as I'm only just over a year old, it is the only summer holiday I've been on!

Anyway, OTL and I had a great time having adventures an such, but, when we got back to the caravan. TM had been making cards. There was bits of paper and card everwhere, ink pads in dangerous place where a puppy like me could tread, and get into trouble for doing it!

Finding somewhere to have a snoozette is fraught with danger, a puppy could fall off and get covered with sparkle dust, and be in even More Trouble!

Some Holiday this is!
So, here is a request from all us animals who have card making owners.

Leave some space for us, preferably, warm soft and away from sticky glue, sparkle stuff and sharp things!

Kissy kissy

I've made a discovery!

Hello to you all!

I often meet other dogs when I'm out walking with OTL and if you don't know, there is a sort of ceremony  we doggy's do to work out who gets the 'respect'!

In my case, I stand there, all erect and tail up in the air, then I jump forward a few steps to see what reaction I get from the other dog. Once we have worked out who gets the respect, it's then a game of chase.

Now, I'm sort of young and small when I'm stood next to most of the doggy's I meet and normally it is me wot gets chased! I get a little worried because they are bigger, rougher and tougher than me. This normally results in me yelping like I've been bitten and being picked up by OTL as I try to scramble up his leg!

But I'm learning!

Yesterday, OTL and I were out walking around the football field when a Staffy appeared all big and rough, tough and ready for trouble. We went through the 'Who's the Boss' bit and then he started to chase me!

I started off by running around in a big circle with my tail tucked under my bottom, as normal, then ran to OTL. He didn't pick me up! So, I ran around again and jumped up to OTL, he still didn't pick me up! So, I ran around again. I then noticed that the Staffy could not turn as quickly as me. Hey! Salvation! So, I ran to the Staffy and then at the last moment, swerved away, the Staffy almost fell over as he tried to turn!

I reckon I'm on a winner here, all those games of chase with Holly look like they are paying off!

So, off I went to find another big doggy and see what I can do!

Well, it didn't take long, Buster and Jake turned up. Buster lives next door to me and Jake is his mate.

Now Buster is getting on a bit but Jake is only five years old and a Greyhound type of dog, you know really, really, fast. So, I try the swerving bit again, and it works! Oh WOW!

Jake before the Fall

By the time we had finished I was chasing Jake while he was still trying to go round corners. He even fell over twice trying to turn as quickly as I do!

Turning the Tables!
 See you tomorrow,

Dodger Daisy

Another Lovely Day!

Hello All!

Today has been one of those laid back, no agro, everything is alright and 'I'm Happy' sort of days.

Woke up this morning to Hissin Chrissy sniffing around the garden near to where the bird feeders are, well, I'm not having her upsetting the birds in my garden, so woof, woof I went.

Actually, it was more like a gang of screaming Apache's on the war path, you get the idea!

It must have surprised the life out of Chrissy because she spun around and shot off down the garden, trouble was, the stone statue of a pigeon was in the way. Now Chrissy is a Pussy Cat and is made of fur, fat and teeth, the pigeon on the other hand is made of reconstituted stone and is hard and unforgiving, I know, I tried chewing it one day!

Chrissy, being full of guilt at whatever she was doing, had decided that a VFX (Very Fast eXit) was called for, unfortunately she had not reckoned with the pigeon.

Head down, tail straight out the back and looking back to see how close I was, she just didn't see where she was going.

Her VFX got faster as fear triggered the 'What the!..........get out Fast!' feeling that shoved her running speed into 'turbo boost with after burners'!

To me, it seemed like everything was happening in slow motion, me woofing, Chrissy VFX'ing, Pigeon doing the 'I'm Big and Hard & 'We shall not be moved' bit.

Chrissy ran straight into the pigeon.

Woof, Hiss, Meow, Thud, Meow, Hiss, Woof!

Ouch! Said the pigeon as it fell over.

My head Hurts!

Well that's how to start the day!

I was still laughing at lunch time!

See you tomorrow,
Daisy

Silly questions from Old Two Legs

Hello Fans!

Well, there I was sitting quietly, chewing on one of my rawhide chews, when in comes The Missus, 'What have you got there?' she says, 'Are you chewing your rawhide?'..................what's this I thought, a 'Trick Question?'

You know, I've got this lovely soft soggy bit of rawhide hanging out the side of my mouth, my jaws and teeth are giving it 'Wot-for' and she asks if I'm chewing rawhide. I would not mind so much but she is the one who bought it for me!

You know, Old Two Legs can be a bit like that as well.

There I am, digging this wonderful hole in the garden and he creeps up behind me, 'What are you doing?' he asks!

'I'm Flying a Plane' or 'Swimming The Channel' doesn't seem to impress him very much!

Better still, after a hard days running around keeping all the Monsters and Greasy Badgers out of the house, a girl needs to catch up on her sleep. So, what do I hear? 'Hello Daisy, are you asleep?'........No, this is me running up the stairs and chasing Badgers!
Me, Running up stairs!

Mind you, I do sometimes get my own back, like when OTL is asleep in the armchair, I jump up and give his ears a good licking and ask him, 'Are you asleep then?'

I wonder if Jake & Sabrina do this to Andrea when it's time to get up? Bet they do! Why should dogs in the U.S.A. be any different from us? Lick on Lads!

Hey, I've just come across a picture OTL took when we were on holiday in Scotland and I was missing Holly a bit.

I wish Holly was Here
That beach was Fantastic! A girl could run flat out for miles and also OTL did not mind me digging holes anywhere I wanted, it was a Brilliant holiday!

Ho Hum, back to guarding the house, chewing on some rawhide and catching up on my sleep.

See you all soon!
