Over to see The Boys today!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here again, all worn out and happy!

We spent the morning playing at home, well, Old Two Legs took us out first thing this morning then got all tangled up in bits of paper and office type work. So, we left him alone and spent some time in the garden chasing each other up and down the path and in and out of the lounge, and all over the sofa and chairs!

We were almost too exhausted to go out down the Sea Wall, almost, but not too exhausted!

First of all we had to get OTL out early 'cos we are going over to baby sit Ooops! No, we are 'Child Minding' The Boys after school. Mind you Tom is a big boy now because he goes to the grown up Secondary School where they are teaching him things that he will need to know when he goes out to work!

He looks super smart in his new uniform!

We won't need to go to school 'cos as a doggy, we know everything already!

So, back to OTL, a sneaky little woof gets his attention, then we jump up on his lap and lick his ear, jump down and go to the door and woof again, by then it has clicked with him and he starts to put all the paper into a pile!

Once he has his boots on, we're off!

When we get out of the car, it is at full speed, us, not the car! We are off to surprise the rabbits who live around the corner in the brambles. Sometimes we see them and sometimes we don't!

Today, we didn't surprise them!

I smell Rabbits, but where?

We woofed and crashed through the brambles and woofed some more but I think they may have gone out for the day 'cos it's so sunny!

Holly got fed up with looking for the rabbits and went down on the beach to have a walk. She said she looked just like a Beach Babe and walked along the wall wiggling her tail!

I was more interested in the sniffs in the grass and I said I was the Queen of The May dancing through all the flowers!

Holly said that as normal, I was late 'cos it's September and I couldn't be Queen of The September. I told her to get on with her wiggling 'cos she looked like a worm!

Watching people, watching the tide come in!

That was when she chased me all along the wall and forgot about wiggling her tail!

We stopped and watched the tide come in and all the dirty looking foam washing up on the beach. There were some people on the beach playing in the muddy water, laughing and giggling. Holly said the OTL wouldn't giggle if we were to dance in the mud!

On the way back to the car we saw a man standing at the railings watching the tide come in. OTL reckons he was on his lunch break and was looking for some gulls to feed his sandwich crusts to, Holly said that he could feed them to her if he couldn't find any gulls!

In the distance was saw a fisherman almost running along the sea wall with all his gear, he was rushing to get the best position along the wall for catching fish. We both woofed out that he had better hurry 'cos the fish were just about to go home. He didn't think that was funny and totally ignored us!

Late for the High Tide!

Soon after we got back, we went off with The Missus, over to see The Boys.

We had a dig in the garden, just to let them know we were there and some fun chasing each other all over the place!

It was good to get back to OTL and ask if he missed us, silly question really, we gave him lots of licks and he gave us both tickles behind the ears and a cuddle!

 Best of all, there is a Sheep Dog trials on television, going on over four days and today is the first. Well Holly and me sat there and watched it and we were judging each dog they showed.

By the time they finished, we reckon we could have done better, Away to Me, Come Bye, Darn, Lay Darn!

Now where have we heard that before!

P.S. Max, Don't kill your bed or it will be lumpy to sleep in! Also, try something to chew on like some Rawhide Chews, (Tesco do them) they will help you when your teething!

Mid Week Adventure

Hi Woofers!

Daisy & Holly back again and it's Wednesday already!

I don't know where the week goes, by the time we've had a snooze, eaten a meal or two and had a run out with Old Two Legs, half the week has gone by!

Today OTL didn't have a lot to do in the office, so he decided to have a 'Clear Up', this is where he moves everything around and ends up putting it in a different place. Holly and me try to help him but as he says, if we keep putting his mobile phone under our blanket, how is he going to answer it if it rings?

Holly says he should turn it off and take us out for a run in the woods, especially as it is such a sunny day!

And that is what he did, with a little bullying from us, but he did leave his mobile switched on!

just for a change, we went down to The Forest, we haven't been down there for ages, so it was a case of 'Nose to the Ground' and catch up on all the new sniffs.

Of course, Holly just 'Had' to climb up a tree and OTL just 'Had' to fiddle with the picture!

OTL says he caught sight of a Stoat or maybe it was a Weasel, he wasn't too sure as he couldn't see the tail. As he has been told before, 'A Weasel is Weasily recognised but a Stoat is Stoatally different'!

Holly suggested that as we were part Fox Terrier, we should try sniffin out some fox trails, so we got our noses down and off we went, weeell, we didn't find any foxes but we did see a squirrel and I chased it up a tree but just to be unfriendly, it threw some chestnuts down at us, still in their spiky shells!

After the squirrel episode, Holly tried to teach me to climb trees but I was not as sure footed as her and got nervous and wouldn't go up very high, not even when she started to make fun of me by saying, 'Me Jane, You Monkey'!

When we got back home we were tired little puppies and spent the rest of the afternoon having a snooze in OTL's office!


Yo Max, what's this Mad Max thing? Don't those Two Legs know that after a good feed we all love having a rush around, followed by a snoozett! Holly and me normally beat each other up for half an hour or so and sometimes we even beat up OTL! I normally try to unscrew Holly's tail and she tries to bite my legs! Then we have a cuddle with OTL or TM!

OTL is going to have an early night tonight, I think we have worn him out running through the forest!

Busy Day Today

Hi Woofers!

Daisy & Holly back again.

Hello Max, how's the training going? Have you got the Two Legs sorted yet?

We were up early this morning with The Missus, she was banging and crashing about making the place look tidy and trying to wake Old Two Legs up by switching the bedroom lights on and banging cupboard doors!

It didn't work, not until we set about his ears with our tongues!

That got him moving!

Super sunshine this morning and the wind had dropped, so it was a great run around the fields with TM. Back for a brush with OTL and breakfast of chicken and biscuits , that's the way to start the day!

This morning as spent snoozing on the bed then TM gave us the last of the chicken strips, it tasted super so we are going to remind OTL to get some more when we go out!

OTL has been busy up loading some pictures onto his web site. They are of the otter and the eagles we saw on holiday, Holly still thinks that the eagle would taste like chicken!

We did a bit of bullying with OTL, we went into the office and woofed at him! He was unsure of what we wanted first of all, he thought there was something wrong, then it clicked, We Want Walkies!

Before long we were at the top of Blue Bell Hill and chasing rabbits all over the place!

Rabbits..........Charrrrrrrrge!

 We spotted this giant rabbit looking at us over the hedge, that was it, off we went in our best Doggy Charge, woofing and howling at the tops of our voices!

Let's make an Ambush!

 We flew down the path and into the trees and it was there that the rabbit disappeared into the trees. So Holly, being a little out of breath, said, Let's make an Ambush, then when he comes back up the path, we've got him!

Now that would have been OK except that when he came back, he brought a load of his mates with him, there must have been hundreds!

Holly said we should climb the tree 'cos rabbits don't climb trees, but I pointed out that neither do I!

They were surrounding us and I felt just like Custer did at the Last Stand, nervous!

I think we're surrounded!

We we standing there thinking what to do next when all of a sudden they stopped advancing and it was then that we heard OTL come crashing through the trees, he was trying to catch up with us and was all out of breath and puffing and blowing and shouting our names!

That was it, the rabbits scattered behind the trees and OTL had cleared a path for our retreat!

That was the opportunity we were waiting for and we dashed past OTL and up the path again! OTL turned around and started to run after us but he was not doing very well. Poor OTL has trouble running and breathing at the same time and soon we left him behind in the trees. We could hear that he was sort of OK 'cos his breathing was so loud, it sounded like a jet engine on steroids!

Do you think we lost them?

By the time OTL had caught up with us, he was as red as a beetroot and puffing fit to bust! It was good to see he managed to scare off the rabbits though, that was a close thing!

On our way back to the car we saw a Two Legs with a mountain bike and he was preparing to go down the path we had just come up, Holly says we should warn him but I reckon he could out run the rabbits, providing he was going down hill!

Shall we tell him?

Back home to a dinner of chicken and biscuits and a bit of beef mugged from OTL at dinner time, he really is a sucker for the old 'Hairy Eye Ball' and a little woof! (Max, make notes!)

Off to bed now, I've got Holly's carrot and I have hidden her chew under my blanket so we are in for a fun night!

Monday Fun

Hi Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here again.

We had a super night last night, early to bed, run around the house just when it gets near to dawn and an after wake up snooze, before waking Old Two Legs with a 'Good Morning' ear lick!

Make notes Max, this is how to keep them on their toes!

The wind was blowing and the rain was getting right into our coats when The Missus was taking us out for our walk, so it was a quick run around then back for an 'after walk' snoozett!

Lunch time was better, the wind blew but the rain had stopped and the sunshine had come out from behind the clouds.

The only problem was, how do we get OTL to stop working and take us out.

No problem!

It's time to stop working and go 'Walkies'!

Off we went to the Sea Wall, as the wind was blowing from the south we didn't have the waves crashing over the wall, instead the wind was trying to blow the sea back out again!

Hello Woofers!

Holly said 'Hello' to a couple of Labrador dogs and they had a good sniff of each other, I had better things to do, like looking for rabbits!

Coo-Eee Mr Rabbit!

I think that Mr Rabbit may have gone out for the day 'cos there was no sign of him at all!


Mr Rabbit is now getting as sneaky as those Badgers and Squirrels!

 When we got back home there was some super liver for dinner and afterwards we were given a carrot each. Now you may not know, but Holly and me just love carrots, especially Holly, she even sleeps with hers just in case she feels like a nibble during the night.

Best of all is when she has a cuddle with OTL on his chair, she even takes it with her then!

A cuddle and a carrot, life is good!

Early night tonight, just so we can get up early for OTL.

F1 Racing, Lazy Sunday and MAX!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy And Holly here again with you.

Old Two Legs and The Missus had a late night last night 'cos Alun and Glynis and OTL and TM were gassing and laughing and eating and drinking and laughing and, well you get the picture!

They stayed up well past their normal bedtime and of course, they would have had a late morning had Holly and me not woken them up in plenty of time, somewhere around twenty past five!

We always make sure they get up on time, even if OTL was a little grumbly!

We had our walk and when we got back Alun & Glynis packed up all their stuff and headed back to their home, it was great fun seeing them again and we had loads of mugging as well!

The F1 racing was exciting with Button second, he really is a super driver, smooth and precise!

After the racing we went down to the Sea Wall and went looking for Mr Rabbit, but I think he was in his burrow watching the F1 Highlights 'cos he didn't come out when we called him!

I went for a little paddle in the sea as it was High Tide, no muddy stuff for OTL to tell us not to walk in!

The sea was all gentle up against the concrete rock things on the beach and it looked all smooth and shiny, just wait for winter, I bet it will be big waves and loads of noise!

This sign is funny 'cos it points the wrong way to where the footpath goes and no one takes any notice 'cos they walk through the fence and along the path. OTL won't take us along there though 'cos there are loads of sharp metal spikes that may hurt us if we bump into them!
