Christmas Day in the Household!

Ho, Ho, Ho, Woofers!

It's Daisy & Holly here, Merry Christmas to you all!

We had great difficulty getting to sleep last night, every time we drifted of there seemed to be a noise coming from the roof or the chimney or the loft or the front door or the garden or just Old Two Legs snoring and Harrumphing as he turned over in bed!

Then about three thirty there was this noise from down stairs, like a plate being knocked off the coffee table!

Holly and I stuck our heads under our blankets and closed our eyes tight and didn't say a thing, until we woke up this morning, about five thirty!

The Missus was getting up at the same time, so, off we went with her to see what was down stairs.

Well, our stockings were full of chews and toys, Holly and mine that is! TM had her own toys and a brand new pair of Golden Slippers that she puts on and does all her carding stuff in!

OTL staggered down stairs and put our lead on us and off we went to The Sea Wall for a very early walk. This was very strange but not to worry, as soon as we got back we were off to Auntie Zoe for Christmas Day!

There was The Boys there as well, which pleased Holly and she had a cuddle and a lick of them all and then I did the same! We got more presents and a Christmas Scarf each which we wore all day!

It says 'Yappy Christmas'.......now where's the Squirrels!
We also got a walk in a small park across the road which had loads of squirrels running around! OTL wouldn't let us off the lead when we went out which was a bit of a spoil sport 'cos we could have chased the squirrels all through the woods for miles.

Which I suppose is one of the reasons OTL kept us on the lead!

Look! Another one and we're stuck on this lead!
We had a super dinner of a Turkey Leg each. A Turkey is really a very big chicken and is very tasty, especially the way that Auntie Zoe cooks them. You see, she is a Professional Cook and knows how to do this stuff properly!

We also managed to bag some Pigs in Blankets, which are sausages wrapped in bacon and we got some Gammon slices and some more turkey and Holly had some carrots as well!

The best bit was when OTL had finished his ice cream, we got to lick the bowl clean!

Twice!

Gissa A Lick of The Bowl Missus!
We first mugged TM and then next I got onto OTL's lap and we kept very quiet until the ice cream arrived!

Where's the Ice Cream?
Well, after all that we couldn't do anything other than crash out and sleep it all off!

Wake me at Tea Time!
We have just got back home and are setting down to a great snoozy evening, nibbling at the tasty bits and mugging OTL for some of his shortbread!

See you tomorrow!

Loads of Luv,

Daisy & Holly

Christmas Eve and we are in Trouble!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here on a Christmas Eve edition of our 'Famous Doggy Blog'!

Well, this morning it has been a bit of a run around in more than one way! First of all we were out on our walk along The Sea Wall and you know, we didn't see any other dogs!

Holly reckons they have all gone away for Christmas to a place where there is warm sun shine and sandy beaches where a dog can dig all day in the sand and never get into trouble!

I did point out that we were about a half hour later than normal and more than likely, all the dogs were back at home enjoying a big breakfast!

Sun shine, beaches and sand holes and all I get is Puddles!
Mine you, Holly got up with the grumps today, she was sleeping in her bed when Old Two Legs announced that we were going for a walk and when he tickled her behind the ears to wake her up, she did her 'Grumbly Voice' which means 'Leave me Alone, I don't want to ..............'!

Not that it stopped OTL getting her up and down stairs 'cos as he says, 'I've got a bigger Grumbly Voice than You!'

We had our walk then headed for the town to do the banking and get OTL's glasses mended. The glasses he looks through, not the glasses he holds his whisky in!

He did the Banking but the Opticians were closed! So that means OTL will have to wear the second pair which he says makes him look old. I didn't think it was his glasses that made him look old, rather it was all the white hair and wrinkles that are the give away!

Back home to a brush and some Lambs Heart with Biscuits for our late breakfast and then a snooze in the Day Bed until lunch time.

We were a bit late going for the lunch time walk 'cos OTL was finishing off all the bits of paper that were piled up on the desk and when he had finished, we were just ready for a stroll.

Well, a bit of a 'Chase The Ball' game and a splash through the puddles again was all we did, no woofers to say 'Merry Christmas' to, not even a pussy cat to woof at!

All the Wormy Men had gone and The Fishermen were still at home, the birds were hiding in the bushes and the rats and rabbits were all fast asleep!

Chase The Ball on The Beach!
Even along The Sea Wall there was no one about, just us!

Wet & Windy on The Sea Wall.
All the puddles were still there and we had to walk in them, just to get to the car!

More Puddles!
When we got back home, OTL helped us get ready for Father Christmas to come and we wrote out our letters and left him a list of things we would like and if he could leave us any of them we would be really, really grateful!

We said that we had been good dogs all year long and had not caused too much trouble and hadn't chewed OTL's boots or The Missus's card stuff and we had kept the garden free of cats so that the birds can feed.

We finished off by saying that the carrots were for Rudolph and the other reindeer and the mince pie was for Father Christmas and the Whisky was for The Elf.

Then we hung up our stockings and left the carrots and stuff by the fire.

That was until we got a little bit hungry.

We had our dinner and then sneaked over to have just a little nibble of the carrot and the mince pie, but we did leave some for later, for Father Christmas and the Reindeer and The Elf.

We did, Honest!

A Woofing Big  'Merry Christmas' to all you Woofers out there!
Lots of Luv,

It's a Soggy Sunday!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy & Holly back with you again!

We love Sundays, first of all we have an extra half an hour in bed, before we wake up Old Two Legs by woofing and licking his ear! Once he is awake we go back to sleep until it is time we go for our walk!

It made a change to go out and not get rained on! There were plenty of puddles around and all the paths were very muddy!

We started off with our normal game of 'Chase The Ball', this is where I jump up and woof like mad until Old Two Legs  gets the ball out of his pocket and throws it down the path!

Go On, Throw it!
As normal, it's a bit of a 'Hit & Miss' effort on his behalf 'cos it sometimes goes bouncing onto the beach and sometimes it flies off into the grass!

Gissa Ball!
Holly joined in with the game this morning and we had a bit of a tussle with the ball, great fun!

I Think I Spot a Rabbit!
We were doing our 'Push & Shove' game with the ball when I spotted a rabbit, well, I have been reading some books on 'Stalking in Scotland' and 'The SAS Book on Creeping Up' and have learnt some cool moves. So,  first of all I get down on my tummy, a bit wet but it will be worth it! Then I start moving closer and only move when the rabbits looking the other way!

Now, I was doing well, I had crept along the path, then into the grass and wiggled my way further using a natural 'Dip' in the ground. As I got up to the bush where the rabbit was last seen, I looked around the corner and was confronted by Holly, grinning all over her chops!

I nearly Got It!
That was it, back to reading and I hope they have a section on hiding from Holly type doggies!

Back home it's Doggy Scoff again for breakfast, so we were not too pleased with that! There is always some dry biscuits in a bowl, so we can keep from starvation by nibbling at them during the day!

Around one thirty, I started making OTL's life impossible, I was jumping up onto his lap then climbing up over his shoulders and licking his ears!

In the end he gets the message!

Walkies!

Because it is so wet and muddy, we have decided to stay away from The Forest 'cos the muddy paths would be too bad for even us, never mind OTL slipping and sliding all over the place! So, back down to The Sea Wall and we met up with a young Westie who said he was a bit wet and damp and a bit chilly, so he got close to OTL and asked him for a cuddle, just to warm up a bit!

Gissa Cuddle?
I was just about to tell him to bug off when his owner came along and put him on a lead and headed off towards their car and the heater!

That sorted him out and we got OTL to ourselves again! That was until we met up with Poppy and Pixie, these two are always good for a laugh 'cos both of them are terriers like us and both are always up for a game!

OTL was throwing their ball for them and Poppy said that they had both been practising the 'Dog Trot', so they both did a bit of a dance, just to show us how they had progressed since we last met.

Doing The Doggy Trot!
I must admit, they were both very good and even doing it with a ball in your mouth was classic!

Don't throw the ball, yet!
Back home I retired to my bed with my books on 'Survival Techniques' to study a better way on sneaking up on rabbits!

Christmas Eve tomorrow, so we will be writing our letters to Father Christmas and OTL says he will get out a Carrot for Rudolph and a Mince Pie for Father Christmas and a slurp of Whisky for his Elf Helper!

You know, there is more to this Christmas thing that you first realise!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly

Rain and Fiddling Success!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here!

What a day today has been!

We started off by getting up late, not that it worried us too much. We had a quick wee first thing, as normal, then back to bed for an 'After Wake Up Snooze'.

We weren't too worried about going out 'cos it was pouring down, in fact it has been pouring down all night! Finally Old Two Legs said that the rain had eased off a bit so, 'Walkies'!

Not that it really appealed to Holly who stayed in her bed and refused to move until OTL picked her up and carried her down stairs!

Off we went and drove through all the puddles on the way and many times the water splashed up all over the car!

Out we got at The Sea Wall and it was still raining!

Holly was not happy!

This is not fun!
I must admit, we did do our business in double quick time and when we got to the first short cut, Holly did her 'I'm going home' trick!

I'm off Home!
Back home we had a a second rub down with our towel, the first being in the back of the car! Then it was off to breakfast of Chicken and Biscuits!

Now this short walk means that OTL was able to get back to the Modem and Television problem!

He couldn't get the Internet Modem to talk to the Television Modem and he was getting cross with the system and kept telling it what he thought of computers, modems and something called CAT5 Cable!

Well in the end he had to go out and get some more cables 'cos instead of having the modem under the desk he has had to mount it half way up the wall!

Something to do with radio signals bouncing off the chimney metal lining!

Lunch time it was sort of working but only via a cable link but that was not the idea, so he decided to 'Cool Off' by taking us out again for a walk especially as the rain had stopped!

Down on the Sea Front we were jumping over the puddles and trying to keep our legs and tummy dry!

Too many Puddles!
Holly was having a rummage around looking for the rats nest when the rain started again! Just how much rain is there up in the air?

Any more rain and they'll change into Water Rats!
Well, we did have a longer walk but in the end we decided to take the 'Short Cut' back to the car and back home!

Come on, Back Home!
So, while we were snoozing in our day beds, OTL went back to the modems and a bit later it all suddenly burst into life and it works!

Who's a clever OTL then!

So, now we are all set for Christmas, the television is doing what it is supposed to do, OTL has cleared all the cable out of the way, The Missus is pleased and we are looking forward to mugging OTL tonight and of course, we have got to write our 'Dear Father Christmas' letter ready for Christmas Eve night!

Holly reckons we should be able to hear him when he calls and we can see what he leaves TM and OTL as well as us!

Mind you, we won't woof at him, let's face it, if we woofed at him he wouldn't leave us any presents!

Let's hope the rain goes away and we get a dry Christmas, you know, we wouldn't even mind if the Snow Fairy returns!

Claws crossed! See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly ( in the warm and tucked up in our beds!)

OTL's Still Fiddling!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy & Holly here!

You know when we left you last night? Well, both Old Two Legs and The Missus sneaked off for a night out at a restaurant, leaving us all alone! Well, all alone until Auntie Sheila came in to let us out for a wee and to check that we were OK!

We decided not to give them a cuddle last night, we went to sleep as soon as they came in, in our own beds and not even a good night woof!

That'll teach them!

This morning we were out good and early for our run alone The Sea Wall and OTL tried again for a 'Medway Sunrise' but he got there too late and all he got was the 'Afterglow'!

Medway Sunrise!
We had some fun with the ball and Holly tried to pinch it off me as I came from off the beach. No way was she getting my ball and I tried to shove her off the wall!

GerroffmeBall!
Then OTL threw the ball again but it got lost in the grass, you know he is useless at ball throwing!

Well I can't find it either!
Back home it was a super Lambs Heart breakfast and a snooze afterwards, which was OK by us!

Lunchtime OTL sneaked off to do some banking and left us at home, but a bit later he came back and we were off to The Sea Wall again and this time we spotted some Brent Geese having a paddle in the mud!

They didn't move when Holly and I woofed at them!
Holly still reckons they could taste of chicken but I think they would taste of fishy stuff that they eat!

OTL spotted the Curlew on the mud as well and even Holly agreed it was not likely to taste like chicken, more like a cockle or a shrimp!

It's a good job we don't like shrimps!
The rest of the afternoon was spent trying to get the Internet Modem to talk to the television, unsuccessfully we might add!

In the end he had to run a cable from the modem to the television to make it work!

Poor Old Two Legs, he does try but sometimes he gets confused with all those buttons and bits of wire!

We are off to mug him for some Bambi Burger so bye bye for now and see you tomorrow.

We'll let you know what happens!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly

Holly's Got The Hump!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy & Holly!

Did you hear it rain last night? We did, it was belting down all night long, it even woke us up!

We were doing the 'Puppy Patrols' but not looking out for Burglars or Foxes or Cats but rather to make sure the house didn't spring any leaks during the night!

The rain slackened off around getting up time so Old Two Legs didn't think twice about us going for a walk, mind you, he did put our rain coats on us, 'just in case'!

That was 'Just As Well' 'cos as soon as we stepped outside, it started to rain again!

When we got down to The Sea Wall, it was still raining, OTL had been having fun driving through all the puddles on the way down to the car park, so the car was all muddy and grubby!

We started our walk and Holly announced that she was 'Not Happy'!

As you know, Holly does not 'Do' Rain, Puddles, Cold, Wet and Early Mornings! This walk was combination of all the things Holly doesn't do!

Here is Holly 'Highlighted', Not Doing!
We trotted along the Sea Wall and OTL even got the ball out for a little game of 'Chase' but not even that cheered Holly up, mind you, she 'Doesn't do Balls' either!

I am not 'Doing' Anything This Morning!
When we got to the first 'Short Cut' back to the car, Holly did a Right Hand Turn and headed off!

I've had enough!
I must admit, it was getting a bit damp behind the ears! You see, we don't have waterproof fur like Labradors have so once we get wet, we feel the cold. I don't mind getting wet when I go for a swim but I only do that when it's warm and today is not warm!

As Holly will testify!

I Don't Do Puddles!
Back home we both had a good rub down with the Doggy Towel, we had one rub down in the car but a second just sort of finishes it off! After a good brush we tripped excitedly into the kitchen for breakfast!

Doggy Scoff!

That was it, Holly was right fed up now, wet and cold paws, rain trickling down her tail and to add to all that. Doggy Scoff!

We both retired to our Day Bed and sulked for the rest of the morning!

Lunch time it was still raining, so, we weren't too pleased about being bundled into the car but as OTL insisted, we agreed!

When we got to the car park, OTL told us to stay in the car while he crept out the door and closed it behind him! We were left in the car, on our own while he was doing his 'Creepy' run around!

What was he doing? Even the people in the two cars beside us didn't know what he was up to!

Finally he came back and showed us what he was photographing!

I've eaten too many Frogs!

Now, we had never seen a Grey Heron this close and even Holly was impressed!

Then she asked.......................................'Does it taste like Chicken?'

We jumped out of the car and rushed around to have a look but as we went around the corner the heron saw us and flew off! Holly was disappointed, all she wanted was a little nibble to see if it did taste like chicken!

That was it, off we went for our walk but it still was raining, so we decided it was going to be a quick one!

Mind you, I did get OTL to get the ball out for a couple of chases along the Sea Wall but he was still useless at throwing!

OK, Where's the Ball?
Back home we spent the afternoon snoozing until OTL had to go out to post off some stuff, so we joined him for a drive and a woof at the local cats!

Now, we are getting close to dinner time but we can't sniff any food being cooked, I do hope OTL isn't being served Ham Salad!

We'll let you know!

See you tomorrow!

Daisy & Holly

Busy doing Nothing!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy and Holly back with you!

We have had a lazy day today, in fact we have been idle, non active, paws up and snoozing, not a lot of movement!

Except to woof at the Postman who was delivering some boring (Non Edible) stuff!

Holly and I spent the morning in our day bed, after enjoying a freshly cooked Chicken Breakfast and a nibble of some Rabbit & Duck Biscuits. It was great, on our back, paws in the air and zonked out!

It don't get much better!

While we were out this morning we met up with Alfie who we met the other day, we said hello and exchanged locations on some new sniffs. Off we went again and bumped into young Oscar. 'Yo Girls!'  he said as he was wiping his paws on the ground. He does this paw wiping stuff after he had a wee, I think it's to spread it around a bit so he looks big and strong, trouble is, he throws it up all over us, him, his owner and OTL!

Yo Girls!

Holly said that she thinks he is Oscar is a Super Star and I reckon she secretly fancies him!

Old Two Legs guided us around our walk and kept a close eye on us so we couldn't find that pile and have a roll! Holly found some old wormy stuff and was going to have a quick roll but OTL was right behind her and stopped her having a little roll!

Lunch time we woke up to OTL munching on some toast, so we just had to mug him for a bit of that!

Then it was Walkies Time! OTL had to deliver some stuff, so off we went in the car, Holly and I were on the look out for cats and dogs to woof at. Holly was sitting on the rear parcel shelf and I was up front with my nose against the wind screen!

We didn't see a single Pussy Cat!

Not to worry 'cos we did the deliveries in double quick time and then headed off to The Forrest!

When we fell out of the car it was raining, not a heavy rain but the sort that will soak you if you stay out in it for too long. So, Off we went to the 'Starting Post', this is where we always start sniffin, 'cos 'Here Be Squirrels!

Right, Here is your starter for five!
We caught the sniff of three squirrels that had been digging around here earlier in the day but even Holly couldn't tell if they were still about, so off we went, Squirrel Hunting!

We got through the first gate and I suddenly caught the sniff of 'Squirrel', it was being carried on the wind and I reckoned the squirrel was not too far in front of me, so, off I went like a Rocket Powered Squirrel Hunting Puppy!

Vroooommmm!
Well, I knew Holly would be on my tail as I flew down the path and I'm sure I could see a little grey tail poking out from behind the tree trunk.

It was here, I know it was here, I saw it was here!
When I got down to the tree, nothing, not even a sniff! I was right put out that I didn't even get a chance to grab it! Holly was taking the mickey, saying that my eyes were wobbly and my nose was wearing out!

Well, I wasn't having that and off I went, nose to the ground and ears wide open. I sniffed and I listened, then I sniffed some more and there, on the breeze, came that sniff of squirrel again.

I wasn't going to loose it this time!

I crept along the forest fence  and there sitting on a branch was the squirrel, all showy off and munching a nut he had just dug up. As soon as it saw me it jumped up into the tree on the other side of the fence and sat there chattering away in squirrel at me!

Come down here and say that!
Well, I didn't understand a word 'cos I don't speak squirrel and anyway he was talking too fast!

So I just woofed an invitation for him to come down and say it again, on the ground and on this side of the fence!

I'm sure he knows what I was saying 'cos the next thing it did was to throw the empty nut shell down at me and launched into a louder load of chatter!

I wish I knew what he's saying!
Well that was how it stood for a while, him chattering away and me woofing at him and in the end he ran along the branch and jumped into the next tree and off he went.

Not to worry, I will remember him for next time and he had better not be on the ground when I catch him or I'll unscrew his tail and use it for a loo brush!

We had more fun running in the mud and climbing onto the tree trunks and looking for more squirrels but as hard as we looked, we couldn't find any more. Holly says that they have all gone to bed to snooze away the Winter until Spring comes back next year.

Not a bad idea!

I think they've gone back to bed!
Back home again and have a game trying to work out what OTL is having for dinner tonight, just so we know what to mug him for!

Holly has just sniffed it being cooked, it's Gammon tonight!

We like gammon!

See you tomorrow!

Daisy & Holly

Smelly Nelly's and a Pongy Pooch!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy & Holly back with you again!

What a fun day today! We started off this morning getting into deep poo, literally, you see as we were mooching our way  along The Sea Wall, as we do, we came across a big pile of Super Smelling Poo!

Old Two Legs was a bit ahead of us and didn't see the interest we were taking into this pile! Instead he was looking up into the sky at the clouds and waving the camera about.

Morning Clouds
So, there I was, having a sniff, then Holly had a sniff, then I took two steps backwards, woofed 'Wheeee' and dived forwards, onto my back and straight into the pile!

I had a good wriggle around and waved my legs about as well!

Then it was Holly's turn, she just sniffed, put her head down and rolled straight over onto her back and did the wriggle move as well!

Holly having a Wriggle!
It was then that OTL spotted us and came roaring down the path towards us. 'I think we are in trouble' says Holly, getting a last wriggle in before OTL arrived!

The Long March Back.
Well, that was it, we were marched off back to the car and told to Sit and STAY!

All the way home OTL had the window open 'cos he couldn't stand the sniff!

Dunno why, it sniffed OK to us!

A telephone call to The Missus on the way back meant that a big bowl of warm water and Doggy Shampoo was waiting for our return!

We were called Smelly Nelly's and Pongy Pooches and although we both got washed and bathed from nose to Tail Tip, I think it was worth it!

It's a Doggy Thing you see!

Well, the lunch time walk was better! We went down to The New Park and I worried OTL into getting the ball out for a game and he threw it down the hill and after it I went!

While I was running around I suddenly get the feeling I should find me somewhere to hide while I did my business 'cos you see, I don't like to do it in the open! Also it is fun watching OTL trying to pick it all up from between the clumps of grass!

Well, while OTL was doing his job of clearing up after me, I found a pile of Super Smelling Poo, I just couldn't resist it and I had a roll, a small roll, but a roll all the same.

OTL saw me, then he saw Holly heading towards it..............................you know he can be really loud when he barks out 'NO!

So, Holly didn't get a roll but I did, but it wasn't too much this time but I still was called a Pongy Pooch and had to have a wash when I got back home!

We met up with loads of other doggies as we went around. First there was this little Scruff Bag who was not too sure how to react when we gave him the 'Doggy Welcome Sniff' and he called out to his owner 'Are they allowed to do this?'

'Are they allowed to do this?'
Holly met up with Billy from the Rescue Centre who was still having trouble coming back when called, so he had to stay on a long lead! We had a chase and a sniff but he had to stay on the lead!

We wished him a Merry Christmas and off we went again!

Merry Christmas Billy!
Then we came across a couple of three month old Jack Russel pups, Holly thought they were sweet and cuddly, I thought they were just too noisy!

Holly said that they were quick learners 'cos she showed one the first couple of steps of the Doggy Trot Dance and had him doing it in the middle of the path!

Do Do The Doggy Trot!

Blow me down if we didn't bump into another three month old puppy, but this one was a lot bigger!

This one was a Husky Puppy and he said that he was having loads of fun and walks and super food and he had lots of toys to play with!

He sometimes missed his brothers and sisters but as he had a good soft bed to sleep in it wasn't too bad now.

He said that he wants to grow up to be big, just like his Dad and looking at his paws, we reckon he will get his wish!

I'm going to be a big dog when I get older!

Well, back home it was the wash tub again for me and now I have been washed in Doggy Shampoo twice in a day, I smell terrible, like a field of flowers!

OTL will get seriously mugged tonight to make up for all this washing, just wait and see!

OK, I'm off to see what is for dinner, see you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly

A Technical Day for Old Two Legs!

Yoo Hoo Woofers!

It's us, Daisy & Holly back again!

Last night was a 'Restful' night, no loud woofing to scare off  Burglars or Foxes or Cats!

We just had to put up with Old Two Legs talking in his sleep!

Not to worry, we got him out good and early for our wander along The Sea Wall. Of course, after a quick wee it was lets get OTL to throw the ball!

Well I did, Holly just got on with investigating the sniffs!

Come on OTL, THROW THE BALL!
Which he did, first he threw it all the way down the path and I caught up with it and ran off to bury it in the grass!

Bet OTL can't find this one!
Then he threw it again but this time he did his normal trick and off it went bouncing on the path and off onto the beach!

Me, getting the ball off the beach.......again!
After a while he got fed up with me hiding the ball in the grass and hid the ball in his pocket, spoil sport!

We did spot a Little Ringed Plover hunting breakfast in amongst the cockle shells. Holly called out that had he seen any Bass in the pools? The Little Plover said that he didn't eat Bass but rather Sand Flies and stuff like that!

Sand Fly please!
Back home we had Chicken for breakfast and fell asleep while OTL spent most of the morning talking to a Technical Man about the television.

Our satellite television  has been causing some problems for a little while now. The Missus can't watch any of her 'Crafty' type programs she has recorded and even worse, she can't watch the recordings of the programs where they have used her cards as examples!

Not a Happy TM!

So, OTL has been sitting down with the 'Technical Help Department' and has been trying all sorts of 'Resetting' and Rebooting' and Re Summat or other'!

He was going on for so long that come lunch time we had to woof at him to remind him that we needed a run!

So,  off we went with OTL grumbling away about the satellite television and Holly grumbling about being woken up from a rather exciting dream about Fish & Chips that tasted of Chicken!

I was off into the grass chasing the mouses and looking for rabbits but I think that they had all gone home for their lunch!

By the time I had finished, I was just a little grubby but Holly was still clean and looking all prime.

You know, she doesn't often get grubby like me, that's 'cos she is a 'Sniffer' rather than a 'Hunter'!

A Grubby Hunter!
She did introduce me to sniff I missed this morning and identified it as that Husky we met the other day.

You know, she is really very good at sniffs!

See, it has a sort of 'Hairy Sniff about it!
On our way back we met up with Alfie, now he was not in a good mood 'cos his owners had left him alone this Christmas, well, not really alone 'cos he was with Grandma and she was looking after him and making sure he got lots of walks but his owners had gone off to Florida for Christmas.

Holly asked where Florida was but Alfie didn't know but thought it must be a long way away at least further than Southend on Sea or Sheerness!

Still, he is expecting them back soon after Christmas and they have promised him a big bone to chew on when they get back!

Well, I think Florida is north of Southend!
Back home OTL is still talking to the Technical man and we think there is a little progress.

He has managed to record something!

I hear the dinner plates being put out, so that means we get fed again, well, it means we rob OTL and The Missus!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy & Holly (Chief Sniffer)
