Another Lovely Day!

Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly & Snowflake (The Ferret) back again!

Nowadays, we jump up onto Old Two Legs bed to wake him up, (a lick behind the ear normally is enough), then off he goes for a shower, gets his clothes on and then sorts Snowflake out. We on the other hand, enjoy a good 'After Wake Up Snooze' on the bed, making the most of his nice soft pillow!

We used to go into the office with him for breakfast and our snooze before going for our walk but since Snowflake needs her morning 'Ferret About' we stay on the bed, it's less dangerous!

This morning Snowflake was in a particularly playful mood and was bouncing around chasing the 'Cat Tease' and sounding like a chicken going sort of 'Chook, Chook' then jumping up and down to get the feathers on the 'Cat Tease'.

OTL was chuckling away as well and we could hear the pair of them having a great time together.

Well, that was until the 'Squeaky Toys' came out and then we heard OTL yelp, yep, he just couldn't get his hand out of the box of paper quick enough and Snowflake caught him pinching one of her toys and gave him a nip!

When I was allowed into the office, Snowflake was  back in her bed having her second snooze of the day and I could smell OTL's blood. So being 'Nurse Daisy' I gave OTL's hand a lick, just to make it all better and stop him snivelling, he can be such a baby sometimes!

Down on The Sea Wall we could see a reddish sunrise and Holly said that 'Red Sky in The Morning' was a 'Ferrets Warning!' and we both had a good laugh at that and even OTL had a smile on his face!

 We came across a Curlew poking around in the mud and grumbling away to himself. It seems that he is blaming the Wormy Men for the lack of worms to eat. He says that in 'The Old Days' all you had to do was tap the mud a couple of times with your foot and a worm would jump up out of the mud and there was your breakfast!

I need a Worm!

 It's getting harder nowadays!

 We were having a game of 'Chase the Ball' when Holly suddenly stopped and said that the hair was getting into her eyes and she was having trouble seeing the ball!

I need a Haircut!

 I said that we had got a booking for the early part of April and by then the weather would have warmed up as well!

We carried on mooching along the path looking for new sniffs but they just didn't seem to be any really good ones about this morning!

I need a good Sniff!

You know, even the rabbits had gone back to bed!

The good thing was, back home we had chicken waiting for us! Chicken two days running, wow!

Lunch time we were out again but the situation didn't improve at all even when we me Max and Oscar they were complaining of uninteresting sniffs as well!

Terrible Sniffs today Girls!

You know, there are some days that just end up sniff-less!

OTL was out this afternoon visiting customers so we spent some time having a snooze on the sofa, well that was until we got a 'Teeth Cleaning Chew' each and spent the next hour arguing over who's chew was who's!

By the time OTL got back it was late and Snowflake was rattling her door to be let out for a 'Ferret Around'!

Still, tomorrow should be better, they have forecast bright sunshine and warm winds and clear blue skies, or was that me dreaming?

Rabbit Stew and a Touchy Ferret!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here again!

Well, Old Two Legs is back and we gave him a cuddle this morning, before kicking him out of bed to get a shower and take us out!

Before he takes us out he gives Snowflakes house a clean and refills the food and water bowl. He also lets her out for her run around the office and a 'Ferret About' to find some more mischief to get into!

This morning she managed to get behind the drawers in his drawer cupboard and empty a load of stuff down behind the drawers, so OTL had to take the drawers out to get it all back!

Needless to say, Snowflake didn't like that, so she nipped OTL on the hand when he tried to put the stuff back!

Snowflake thought it was great fun and then had a great time 'Ducking and Diving' around after her squeaky toys and had great fun with the cat tease as well!

She says it is great to have OTL back 'cos The Missus wouldn't even let her out of Snowy Heights!

Another thing she likes is, getting the last of the milk from OTL's bowl of 'Rabbit Food' he has every morning!

No, I haven't finished yet!

We got down the beach and it was sun shiny and warm and we had a great time doing the 'Chase the Ball' game with both Holly and me taking it in turns to run around with it so OTL couldn't get it!

 We even had a race along The Sea Wall with Holly doing her 'Wall of Death' run!

Outta! My Way, Fast Dog Coming Through!

 Holly spent some time with the ball and spent a long time teasing OTL with the ball, running up to him and just when he bent down to pick it up, she grabs it and runs off!

Betcha can't get the ball!

Back home it was a super bowl of chicken which went down with no trouble whatsoever!

Then it's up to bed for a snooze until lunch time when we bully OTL to go out again!

Lunch time we were a bit naughty, we had a our run around as normal but when we got to the end, there, sitting in the grass were two little Bunny Rabbits just calling out to be converted to 'Rabbit Stew'!

Well, Holly did her normal 'Highland Charge' and went steaming down the path, flat out, tail straight out the back in 'Race Mode' and ears flat to the side of her head.

Ere' there's that dog running down the path again!

As Holly got closer, the rabbits just hopped into the bushes and disappeared, as normal!

I decided to do the 'Foxy Stalk' to get to the rabbits. So, very slowly, I edged up towards the bunny. Every time it put it's head down to nibble a bit of grass, I slowly moved my leg up and down stepping towards the bunny.

I got closer and closer, and closer. At one point I was sure I could just reach out and grab it, so I tried and jumped forward.

Blooming bunny! It just shot into the brambles and down the hole!

Well, I flew into the brambles and commenced to try to dig that bunny out of the hole. I didn't hear OTL calling me out and it was about half an hour before I decided that I wasn't going to have rabbit stew tonight!

Out I came, straight into OTL who told me I had spent too long 'Hunting Bunny' and both he and Holly were about to go home and leave me!

Back home we told Snowflake all about the bunny and she said that if she was there she could have gone into the hole and scared the rabbit out!

Maybe we will have a go at that with her when she gets to go out with us!

He's Home!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back again and so is Old Two Legs!

We had a run around The Farm this morning with The Missus but we didn't enjoy the walk up there 'cos there were chippings all over the pavement which hurt our paws!

Back home to Doggy Scoff which we had a chew of but we would prefer some more Lambs Heart!

We settled down for a snooze, I went up and slept on OTL's dressing gown and Holly got her tummy stroked by TM who was on the sofa watching the F1 racing!

About one thirty we both heard a clicking of the front door key in the lock, so straight away we thought 'Burglars!' and started off with our 'Warning Growl'........then back came a 'Warning Growl' from the other side of the door.

No one does a silly 'Warning Growl' like OTL!

That was it, we were all over him with woofs and licks and jumping about. Holly gave him a big Welcome Home Lick then rushed off to have a go at her chew to celebrate OTL's home coming and I jumped up and gave him another lick on top of his bald head!

After saying hello to us he took all his stuff up stairs and got settled in, then he went to say 'Hello' to Snowflake who hasn't been out of Snowy Heights for two days!

Well she cuddled up to OTL on his lap, then she turned around in a circle, or as OTL calls it, a 'Ferret Doughnut', then she licked his hand and curled up some more!

We think she was pleased to see him!

She was also pleased to get a slurp of Ferretone and another cuddle before OTL got her squeaky toys out and they played a game of 'Hide & Squeak', which Snowflake says is great fun!

That's it! I heard a 'Squeak' then!

 OTL sometimes hides her toys in the cardboard box that is full of packing paper that rustles and she rolls around making her laughing noises!

I bet they're in the bottom of the box!

 After a game with Snowflake OTL took us out down The Sea Wall and we played a game of Hunt the Ball, which I won 'cos I'm much faster than Holly and also 'cos she doesn't 'Do Balls'!

Found it!

We had only got a little way along the beach when the clouds decided to dump a load of rain on us!

That was it, short cut back to the car, a rub down with our Doggy Towel and back home for another dry down and a cuddle on the sofa!

Now that OTL is back we can all settle down and TM can get on with her cold that she has picked up from someone!

As long as she stays away from Snowflake, who can catch Two Legs Colds!

Home Alone!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here!

What a strange day today has been! We were woken up before it got light by The Missus crashing about downstairs.

Old Two Legs still hasn't come home!

We were called downstairs and dragged out for our walk but across the field to The Farm. Doing a wee in the dark is just not the same!

Mind you, when we got back TM gave us a super bowl of Lambs Heart, which we dived into straight away, you know Nose down Tail Up!

While we were eating TM sneaked out with all her card stuff!

We though we were going as well!

So, we spent the morning snoozing on the sofa and woofing at Snowflake who said that if we helped her open the cage door she would show us some super hiding places in the office!

We aren't that stupid!

So she stayed in there and went to sleep!

Lunch time we got a quick run around The Farm again, but it wasn’t as good as The Sea Wall with OTL.

We spoke to OTL on the phone and he says he will be home tomorrow and has sent some pictures of what he has been up to!

Together with his cousin, Alun, he has been helping Alun enter a competition at the Chute & Dagger.

It's a collectors club for Special Forces Insignia Badges, a real specialist interest!

This is Alun with his entry which is a collection of Shoulder badges for the South African 44 Para Brigade and there was an exhibit of Qualification Wings. Again, a very specialised exhibit!

............and this is my exhibit!

Then later in the afternoon, after a super Curry an Rice lunch the winners were announced and Alun got the second place Silver Medal in The Arnhem Trophy!

Needless to say, he was Right Chuffed, as OTL said!

Hurry up OTL, we want a cuddle!

He's Gone and left us!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here!

We are not happy little girls! We have been left all alone, no fun and games, no getting our tummy tickled, no chance of bullying Old Two Legs!

He has left us!

Gone!

Done a Runner!

This morning we went for our normal stroll down on The Sea Wall, a bit of ball throwing and a few sniffs, we even spotted a boat that had run aground on the mud flats and was waiting for the tide to come back so he can re float!

OH! We're Stuck on The Ocean Mud!

Holly did suggest we run out there and take over the boat but OTL said that we would leave middy paw marks all over the place and they would be terrible to get off the decking!

So we didn't!

Back home we got our brush and a bowl of Doggy Scoff, which we left for a while and followed OTL upstairs.

He started to get stuff out of the cupboard where he keeps his shirts and stuff. Then he started to pack the big bag he uses to store all his coats and stuff in when he goes away!

Does this mean we are going for an adventure?

Well, he is but we aren't!

We will have to stay with The Missus who doesn't throw the ball for us or run into the bushes chasing rabbits with us or let's us hang about enjoying a sniff!

What does she want to do?

Make cards!

This is one she did but had to get OTL to photograph!

So it looks like we have got to spend time listening to TM waffle on about how she is making this or that card and how she does it and ........YAWN!

I do hope OTL gets his stuff done early and get home soon, I don't think we can stand much more!

Mind you, it's going to be fun watching TM try to clean out Snowflakes Poo Pot in the morning!

Snowflake says she is looking forward to the fun and games and how much do we bet her she has TM running around the office with her chasing TM!

Sun Shine! Followed by a little Cloud!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here again!

What a super day! We were up good and early this morning and although there was a frost on the cars and the pond was frozen, the sun was shining!

A Sunny Morning and no Wind!

Our run along The Sea Wall was great, Old Two Legs managed to lose the ball again! He threw it, I chased and it bounced into the grass. I picked it up and ran on a bit further into the grass, put it down, (as I do) and he went wandering off to look at the sea shore, forgetting all about the ball!

Wot is he Doing?

 There he was wandering down where the mud starts, looking at the sea shells and other stuff that has been washed up on the shore.

He took a picture of the 'Number 11 Steps' just to show how much of the mud had been washed away 'cos you normally would step off the wall straight onto the mud, just like wot the Wormy Men do!

There's a lot of mud gone from here!

 You know what, we didn't see any Wormy Men either, I wonder if they got washed down the beach when the storm came?

Holly and I had a game of 'Running' along the Sea Wall and Holly called it 'The Wall of Death', I don't know why but it sounded really dangerous, which it wasn't, but we had a lot of fun while OTL was messing about with the camera!

....it's only Death if you fall in the Mud!

Back home, OTL was having a game with Snowflake, he lets her out of the cage for a run around while he cleans it all out and makes it clean and tidy for her.

They have a game of 'Hunt the Squeaky' and then 'Murder the Cat Tease' (That's a good laugh that one is!). Then OTL gets a box down that has a load of brown paper in the box, Snowflake likes to go 'Ferreting Around' in this paper 'cos it is loud and rustles when she is scrambling around.

Well, after a while it is time for Snowflake to go back into Snowy Heights for a snooze before lunchtime, but this time she wanted to stay out a bit longer and when OTL picker her up, to show she didn't want to go back yet, she raked her teeth over his hand, which tore the skin!

Hey! Says OTL, 'Just look what you have done' he says, showing her the blood dripping from his hand, 'Mmm' says Snowflake and did it again!

She went back into Snowy Towers and straight into the 'Naughty Corner'!

Mind you, OTL was a bit daft putting his hand there again just after she had made it clear she wanted to carry on running around!

Lunch time we went out for another run along the Sea Wall but this time OTL left his camera at home and instead he has been waving the camcorder around.

Steven Spielberg he ain't!

Looking at the results was fun, the camera looked like it was wobbling all over the place and when I saw myself running along I thought it was another dog, so I did my 'Serious Woof' from behind The Missus who was sitting on the sofa!

So, we won't inflict video on you today, but later we may just offer a taste of us 'Stars', when OTL has learnt to stop shaking as he is walking along with the camera!

Must be off now as Snowflake is rattling the door to come out for her evening runabout, so I'm off!

Just look what water can do!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here with you again!

Sorry we are a bit late with the blog today but Old Two Legs has been out most of the day doing some work and he didn't leave us with the password to get into the laptop!

He's back now and after a quick 'Hello' lick we were up stairs and pounding away on the keyboard!

Well, this morning when we got down to The Sea Wall, we had our normal sniff around and pretend to sniff rabbits and rats and other stuff. We got to the corner we turn to go along the Sea Wall Path and what a sight!

It looked like the path had been washed away by the beach!

I mean, no path, just pebbles!

Wot The ........????

OTL said that the sea had pushed the beach around a bit yesterday and had tossed the stones up onto the path!

We don't know how many tons of stones the sea moved but it sure did look impressive!

Tons & Tons & Tons!

 All our normal sniffs had gone, all our normal beach had all gone and even our sand hole where we bury our ball and dig it up again had gone!

The Sand Hole's Gone!

 A bit further on we found that the sea had scooped a load of beach up and spread it further back down the beach where we had just come from!

 Holly said that although the Sand Hole had gone under tons of beach, we had got a new on, just a bit further along the wall!

So we started a new hole!

 You know, a couple of years ago, the local council got men and diggers in to rearrange the stones on the beach. They dug a load up, took it down the beach and deposited it in a new place.

It took about two weeks for them to do the digging and about another two weeks for the men with the equipment to measure it to finish it all off.

It took about two hours yesterday for the sea to completely rearrange the beach again!

Not so powerful are we really?

OK, off we go, OTL has just been called for dinner, so we are off to do some mugging!

The Snow Fairy is Back!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly & Snowflake again!

Guess What? Yes! The Snow Fairy has come back to see us again! Yesterday it was all wind and snow but not very much snow but plenty of wind!

This morning when we went out for our 'Early Morning Wee', the snow was there in the garden covering everything! The water in the pond was like semolina pudding but the birds could still get a drink but not a skate around the pond edge.

Old Two Legs got the big car out and off we went to The Sea Wall. We were slipping all over the place on the way there but got parked up in our normal place without and mishap. The wind was blowing the snow in off the sea and OTL had to put his 'Cool Dude' glasses on again!

Out we jumped and were nearly blown down the car park! The wind was terrifically strong, Holly and I went off chasing rabbits, well, Holly reckons she saw one and ran off in pursuit but it was only a bird trying to get out of the wind!

Is it a Rabbit? No, it's a Bird!

I sniffed some super sniffs and had a roll in them, as you do, but OTL didn't seem too pleased 'cos he called me a 'Smelly Nelly' and reminded me that I had my coat on and it was that I was covering with sniff and it was going to get washed as soon as we got back and I wouldn't have it for our lunchtime walk and I'll be cold and wet and freezing and I'd end up with a bad cold and be snotty for a week!

I didn't care, so I had another roll!

I'm a Smelly Nelly!

Holly was not too pleased about the wind 'cos she says it gets up her coat and makes her neck cold, so as soon as we turned the corner she did her trick of legging it back to the car!

Holly going so fast back to the car, we can't see her!

 OTL had to go back and get her to carry on with our walk. She was not a Happy Puppy, 'I Don't Do Cold' she said, which is another thing she 'Doesn't Do'!

Come on, it's warmer in the car!

A bit further on I found another sniff, it was better than the last one so, I had a little roll in it!

Now this one is Super!

OTL did his 'Jumping Up & Down' thing calling me smelly names but I didn't really care 'cos a frozen sniff stays on you for ages!

A bit further on Holly did her 'I wanna Go Back' thing again, so we headed back towards the car and blow me down, I found another sniff I had missed on the way up!

That was it, OTL was jumping up and down again and he had his 'Angry Face' on and he was threatening to send us to the Dogs Home!

A Cold Duffer with an Angry Face!

I don't think he really means it 'cos when we got back to the car he warmed his hands on the car heater and then rubbed our ears to make them warm again. Now he wouldn't do that if he was sending us to the Dogs Home!

Would he?

We got home and saw that the sun had started to shine, it was shining onto the solar cells that power the fountain in the pond and the fun bit was, the drops were freezing as they landed back onto the pond surface!

 Holly said that it looked pretty when the sun shone on the water drops!

As the morning wore on the sun stayed out longer and the Snow Fairy soon headed back up North, so, when we went out for the lunch time walk there was no snow landing at all. Just the wind howling in off the sea!

Stormy Seas!

 The waves were pounding up the beach and splashing all over the Sea Wall. We didn't walk along the Sea Wall but instead stayed high up on the hill!

Wild!

 Well, would you walk any where near that lot?

OTL has been playing with the camera this afternoon trying to get it to save a file so that this blog will display it and he thinks he may have cracked it!

He took a video of Snowflake slurping the Ferretone while sitting on his lap. You know she becomes a big softy when she is licking the stuff out of the lid!

I must admit, I had a slurp this morning as well and it don't taste half bad! 

It's a bit boring and it does go on a bit but it at least means we can up load a video of us, Holly and Me and not that show off ferret!

Holly gets lost in the snow and the Blizzard reaches our shores!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here!

What a day!

The weather man says it was going to be 'Snow Flurries', snow flurries? It was more like a raging blizzard!

It was just fluffy bits when we went out first thing, but the wind was terrible! I reckon it was at least minus twenty five degrees when you take the wind chill into account!

This wind gets right up yer tail!

Holly was not a Happy Puppy 'cos it was just too cold for her liking! We were having our normal sniff along the path when all of a sudden she says 'Stuff this for a game of Pussy Cats' and ran off down the path.

She ran down to the end of the path, around the corner and back down the other side and she didn't stop until she got to the car!

Old Two Legs had to go and get her and put her on the lead to make her finish the walk!

She was not happy about that!

On the way back, we bumped into those Bozo Jack Russell's who Holly wound up yesterday. Well Holly just couldn't be bothered, so she barged past them without even replying to their woofing!

Outta my way Bozo's!

 Holly is not a polite puppy when she's cold!

We got back home and OTL gave us a good rub down and a brush, then we had a bowl of chicken and biscuits followed by a snooze in OTL's office.

Before we could settle down we had to get Snowflake back into her house. She was running about on top of the desk and we sneaked into our day beds. She was having a sniff of the outdoors through the open window from on top of OTL's pile of stuff and said in a loud voice.

Well, it don't look too bad from here!

I did my ' I'm gonna bit yer legs' grumble and OTL decided that it was time she went back into her home, for safe keeping!

Gotcha Snowflake!

Lunchtime was even worse, along with the cold and the howling wind there was big balls of snow!

Holly was not amused and said that she was after a quick wee and then it was home again for her!

You know, she really doesn't do getting up early, cold mornings or too much snow! There are other things she just 'Doesn't Do' but the list is too long to go into here!

....and this is another thing I 'Don't Do'!

You could see it was getting bad 'cos OTL had his 'Windy Glasses' on, they are the ones that make him look the 'Cool Dude', well they would on a younger Two Legs but he is getting a bit past being the 'Cool Dude' more like a Dodgy Old Duffer'!

He uses these glasses when he does his 'Climbing the Munro's' walks in Scotland, well not lately since he has become 'Semi Retired' or as The Missus says 'Old and Lazy'!

Mind you, they certainly kept the wind from blowing across his eyes!

Howling Blizzard on the Sea Front!

Back home the new camera had arrived, this is the camcorder to replace the one that suddenly stopped talking to the computer. We're not sure why it won't talk to the computer but it takes movies and plays them back onto the TV. OTL can't make up his mind if it is something wrong with the camera or the computer program that talks to the camera 'cos you see he has lost the program!

This afternoon he has been doing something that he doesn't normally do.........Reading The Instruction Manual!

Who knows, with a bit of luck we will be able to show you 'Moving Pictures' of us three, once OTL has worked out how to make the camera work!

Of course, he has to make it talk to the computer as well!

Sunday Skiing in the Sunshine!

Hi Woofers!

It's Us again, Daisy, Holly & Snowflake!

Wot a day! First off it's cold, then it's cold and windy, then it's cold windy and rain, then after that it's cold,windy and snowy!

Well, sort off!

We were out this morning expecting there to be six foot snowdrifts up against the front door but instead it was rain that was beating on the door!

That didn't stop us, we were out like a flash and off to The Sea Wall where the wind was blowing harder that it was at home and on top of all that, it started to rain a bit harder!

I was playing 'Chase The Ball' when Holly suddenly decided to use her weight to shove me over the Sea Wall onto the beach!

Now, that wasn't so bad 'cos I've done that to her a couple of times but this time she even pinched the ball, stood on the top of the steps and pulled faces at me!

I Gorra Tha Ball!

 I tried to get Old Two Legs to get it off her but he was too involved creeping up on a Ringed Plover with his camera in his hand!

A Bird Ripe for Chasing!

 When OTL ignored me I ran over and chased the bird off, that'll teach OTL!

You know, he still didn't get the ball for me and to be honest, by then Holly had got fed up pulling faces and had gone off sniffin, leaving the ball on the path!

There was a Black Headed Gull who was messing about in the surf, he said he was practising 'Walking on Water' which is a trick that makes the shrimps jump up and then they are easier to catch.

No, we didn't believe him either!

...look, it works, here comes the shrimps!

 Back home we had a big bowl of Lambs Heart waiting for us and we didn't even wait to be brushed, it was straight into the kitchen, nose in the bowl and tails straight up!

OTL got fed up waiting for us, so it was much later that we got our brush!

OTL disappeared up into the office to play with Snowflake, which she looks forward to, 'cos she doesn't get the run of the house like wot we do!

We know she enjoys the outing and OTL and her play games with her toys! OTL puts them on his lap and makes them squeak, Snowflake rushes up OTL's legs and grabs the squeaky ball then slides backwards down to the ground and hides the ball in either of four 'Hidy Holes' she uses!

This is all great fun and OTL says that over the last few days she has started to make noises like a chicken!

Now, we have always thought that Ferrets were a bit odd but sounding like a chicken?

OTL says that is her 'Happy Sound' and he thinks she does that when she is having fun. She dances about chasing the 'Cat Tease' and when she rolls over onto her back, OTL tickles her tummy with the feathers on the end of the cat tease stick, which makes her start sounding like a chicken again!

Mind you, she did give OTL a nip this morning, he had got the plastic container that holds her 'Ferret Nuggets' and had taken the lid off, Snowflake got the sniff and came rushing over to have a taste. Just at the moment she had climbed up the side and was sticking her nose in the box, OTL was also sticking his hand in to scoop out some nuggets and Snowflake, thinking OTL was pinching her food, was gave OTL a little 'Get Off' nip on his hand!

Snowflake says she could quite get used to Two Legs Blood, it's sort of 'Moreish' she says!

At lunch time we were off out again but this time it was down to The New Park.

We got there and had a rush around chasing the ball and woofing at everyone. A poodle came up and suggested a game of 'Chase' and because she was about my size I agreed and we set off at a very fast pace!

Lets play Chase?

I was a bit faster on the straight but she was very good at the 'Fast Turn'!

....but not as good as me!

Soon she got called away by her Two Legs and we went off to see if the Indians we at home but I didn't find any and Holly reckons they have gone away for their Winter Holiday!

Any one Home?

 We got up the top of the hill, just by 'The Watchers' and it started. The wind was blowing and it was cold, then all of a sudden, the snow came down. Well, it wasn't real big snow flakes just sort of cold sleet. We decided that it wasn't going to settle and was nothing but uncomfortable when it blew into our eyes!

Down the bottom of the hill we bumped into a big Alsatian we had met before, ex police force, so he tells us. 'Hello Girls' he says and we say hello as well but keep on walking 'cos he looks a bit 'scary' if you know what I mean!

Back home to a warm bed and a game of 'Hide 'n' Seek' with the chews. Well, Holly got a chew this morning and I pinched it, had a chew and hid it. Now Holly wants it back and is hunting for it!

She hasn't found it yet!

We're off to watch the finals of Crufts on the TV now, OTL sent off our picture to see it they'll show us but we are not holding our breath 'cos we are 'Cross Breeds' and we think they are looking for 'Thorough Bred Dogs'. Which is OK by us 'cos OTL didn't say what breed we are, who knows, they may show us 'cos we look cute!
