Saturday and the sun gets lost!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles here having fun!

Well, what did you expect? Saturday, The Missus gone to her all day Glue, Gas & Glitter meeting.

That means Old Two Legs and us get to have some fun without being told off for rushing through the house playing chase and jumping on the furniture!

First thing, we were out down the Sea Wall, didn't see any rabbits but we had fun chasing each other up and down the beach.

Snowflake fell asleep in OTL's arm on the way to the beach and only woke up after OTL had put her on the sand and Mr Brambles had given her ear a good lick!

'Where am I?' she said and we all had a good laugh about that!

OTL had to do some work this morning, so there he was plonking away on the computer and packing up stuff that is going out on Monday.

However, lunchtime came and after a light lunch we headed off to The Forest!

Now, we haven't been down the forest for some time, so, lots to catch up on!

There was a notice on the gate telling us that Highland Cattle were running free in the forest eating all the bracken and stuff, so keep dogs on a lead and under control!

Yeah, Under Control, Right!

Off we went, sniffin' the sniffs to catch up on who has been around.

Sniffin' The Sniffs!
We kept sniffin' to see if the cattle were close but there was nothing on the ground or the air. Now that was a bit strange 'cos we kept coming across these dinner plate sized poo pats that ponged of cattle!

We carried on and kept an eye open for them.

OTL spotted a Dragon Fly flitting about and tried to catch it in mid flight. He did, but not very successfully!

A Fuzzy Flitting Fly!
We carried on the path and I was looking for the squirrels that lurk in the Forest but there was no sign of a Squirrel Tail anywhere!

There be No Squirrels Here!
This was getting bad, I mean, leave the forest on it's own for too long and what happens? Cattle move in and hide in the bushes so we can't find them, Squirrels hide in the trees and don't even bother to shout down that they can see us!

Was that one?
We even tried keeping very still and listening for any movement but other than a couple of tree trunks rubbing against each other in the wind, there were no animal sounds what so ever!

I Spy With My Left Eye!
Further along the path we came across six big Bozo Labrador dogs running and charging about. I got a bit scared and jumped up onto OTL's lap. He put his arm around me and lifted me up, out of the way of a big fat Bozo who wasn't too friendly!

OTL immediately stood up and I was hoisted out of Bozo's reach.

It was then that I started to woof and growl at the Bozo knowing he couldn't get to me.

For some reason OTL wasn't too happy with me doing that, maybe it was the three Bozo's who were sniffin' around his pockets and trying to jump up at me that was worrying OTL!

We knew OTL would keep us safe and soon we were away from the Bozo's and on the other side of the fence!

On our way home, OTL stopped at the local Tesco's and purchased a carton of Lactose Free Milk and a carton of Goats Milk!

Now we know that the Ferrets get a bit of a tummy upset after mugging OTL for his Milk & Wheaty Bangs in the morning, so, we are going to try out this new stuff. We don't know what it tastes like but it should help prevent the ferrets 'Projectile Poo'in'!

Holly is into milk and woofs it down in no time but I'm not so keen. I'll have a slurp but it's not really my thing.

However, I will at least give it a try, let's face it, you've got to try everything at least once, even Doggy Scoff!

Back home we noticed that the second Water Lily flower had bloomed, but this one is Yellow centre with white petals on the outside. More of a 'Traditional' Lily Flower!

The 'Traditional Lilly'!
So, that's our day done. We are waiting for TM to come back from her 'Glue, Gas & Glitter' day. That should be fun 'cos we make a big fuss of her while OTL has to bring in a load of her card making stuff.

You know, all the stuff she takes and it is 'Loads', she normally only makes one card and that's it!

See you tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles

Lost Dog, Lost OTL!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

What a Day!

We were up early this morning, well Holly was up at two forty this morning and needed a wee, so a quick 'Woof' to Old Two Legs got him staggering all over the place to let her out. I stayed in bed and guarded my chew against and Burglars that may creep in while Holly is having a wee!

Our morning walk was uneventful really, I didn't get lost, Holly didn't get lost and the ferrets didn't get lost either!

We weren't too sure about OTL but he stayed with us all through the walk, still half asleep for getting up too early!

The ferrets had a dig on the beach and Mr Brambles dug the biggest hole.

Jus' Watch Me Dig!
Holly and I played 'Chase' on the sand and caught up with the sniffs!

This is a good one too!
Mr Brambles was well into the sniffs but it took Snowflake some time to wake up. You know she is worse that OTL sometimes!

We were about to have our morning breakfast, after OTL had given us a good brush when, he sneaked out with his camera gear!

Left us with The Missus!

All alone!

It didn't even help when Auntie Sheila came visiting.

OTL had left us at home!

A morning of snoozing didn't help and it didn't look like OTL was coming back soon 'cos TM took us out for our walk at lunch time, a good sign that OTL was out for a long time!

We were on our normal walk, across the The Farm when TM spotted a little Whippet type dog sitting in the middle of the field and it was whimpering and shaking.

Well, that was it, TM went marching over to it but it was a bit scared of TM. Mind you OTL says that she has that effect on him as well!

After a lot of 'Soft Talking' the dog followed us along the path a bit, but not coming close enough for TM to get hold of it and see what was on it's 'Dog Tag'.

Then, it suddenly shot off into a garden. The owner of the garden said he would keep an eye out for the dog 'cos it must have gone under some bushes or somewhere it could hide 'cos we lost sight of it.

The man look like a kind man so we reckon the dog will come out soon and then he can be reunited with his owner.

Holly said it was a good job that OTL wasn't here 'cos knowing him, we could have ended up sharing our bed tonight with another dog in the house!

Three dogs and two ferrets? That would be too much!

OTL arrived back late this afternoon and said that he had been down to a 'Butterfly Tunnel' where he had taken some pictures of butterflies.

In my opinion, I like this way!
Trouble with OTL is he can never make up his mind which shot is the best, wings open or

Sideways to show the head, eyes and tongue or............

There on the other paw, this shows the head.

From the side but showing the underside of the wings!

Now this could be scary on a dark night!

There were some 'Birds of Prey' there as well.

Bloody Photographers!
And, would you believe it, a couple of ferrets that were locked up in a cage!

We're Happy Here Thanks all the Same!
Now that was a good thing the ferrets were locked up or else OTL would have invited them back home!

Three dogs and four ferrets? No Way!

So, that's it, a lost doggy and almost a lost OTL, and it's only Friday!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Ooops! I Dun It Again!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles back with you!

We are getting a bit fed up with Old Two Legs working all the time. We thought that when he retired it would be all fun and long walks!

It is the middle of the 'Holiday Season' and he's out almost every day, there are loads of stuff to take to the carriers and we're stuck at home with 'Old Inky Fingers' as Holly calls The Missus!

We really only get a bit of fun first thing in the morning when we get down the Sea wall.

Today, when we left the car, we got put on the lead 'cos OTL was getting fed up with Holly deciding to go the long way around, I wanted to go the short way and Mr Brambles wanted to go through the bushes and Miss Snowflake doesn't want to get down from OTL's arm 'cos it's too cosy and warm!

So, we arrive at the 'Rabbit Patch' and OTL lets us off the lead and off we go in search of those pesky rabbits!

Miss Snowflake stays in OTL's arm while Mr Brambles decides he wants to go backwards to the sniff he sniffed, just where OTL parked the car!

Finally we all got to the top of the hill and there, in the distance, on the path, sitting very still, chewing on some grass, sat two big plump juicy rabbits!

Holly and I started our 'Stalk', that is slowly walking towards them.

'NO!' says OTL, 'HERE!'

Fat Chance!

We were off, like a pair of rocket powered rabbit hunting bolts of lightening!

OTL tried a few 'Come Here's' and a couple of washed out whistles but even he gave up and went back to chivvying the ferrets along the path.

After a good chase, Holly was the first to crack and went off to find OTL who was by now on the beach with Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Snowflake reckons she left something on the beach yesterday and was scrabbling about looking for it.

It's here somewhere!
I then decided to join them all on the beach and crashed onto the beach kicking sand and shells all over the place. I went chasing after the sea gulls on the rocks then decided to go for a paddle in the mud.

Me, getting Wet & Muddy!
OTL tried yelling at me to 'Get Out' but he was too far away, so he had no chance!

After coming out of the water I decided to have another go at the rabbits, so off I went up the back path and into the bushes.

You know, it took OTL a good ten minutes to find me!

OTL was not happy and I decided that I was in the Poo, again! I could tell he wasn't happy 'cos he clipped the lead onto me and marched me and the ferrets back onto the path that leads home!

All the way back, the ferrets were taking the mickey out of me, calling me names like 'Muddy Mutt' and 'Pongy Pooch'

Holly was left off the lead and the ferrets kept their distance!

Don't get near her, she Pongs!
Mr Brambles is getting stronger all the time, he was running nearly all the way around the pathway today and OTL only had to pick him up a couple of times when he wanted to stay and sniff rather than keep up with everyone else!

When we get back, the ferrets go off to get some food and drink, then they crash out for most of the day. I've never known an animal sleep so much!

Holly and I enjoy a snooze but we're always up and ready for a game if it presents itself.

Unfortunately, TM had to take us for a run at lunch time and it was all boring grass darts, no rabbits and horses!

Maybe OTL will be back soon, at least we will get a game!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles

The Times are 'a Changing

Hi Woofers!

We're back, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

You know, we were looking forward to a fun day today. Old Two Legs had set aside this morning for a trip out to photograph some butterflies and then take us down to The Forrest for the afternoon run.

The ferrets were getting excited 'cos they were expecting a run down The Forrest as well!

About three thirty this morning we could hear both ferrets moving all their furniture about, they do this when they get too excited to sleep!

When OTL was clearing out the cage, they were both bouncing around all over the office, chasing each other and trying to run up OTL's trouser leg!

Then it happened, a telephone call, everything was put on hold 'cos one of OTL's customers was in trouble with his radio repeater system and they needed OTL to fix it..........NOW!

Well that was it, we just had to make the best of our morning walk, knowing that the lunch time walk would be 'Restricted' by The Missus 'cos she doesn't trust us off the lead!

Both Snowflake and Mr Brambles had great fun running along the path and then they dug a super looking hole on the beach.

While they were doing that, Holly and I went off searching for rabbits!

We found a couple and had a great time chasing them through the bushes and undergrowth.

As you would expect, they got away!

By then, OTL had brought the ferrets back up to the top path and they were having fun racing up and down the path having a 'Sprint Race'

First past OTL!
We all enjoy a sniff here an' there but it can get a bit dangerous, I mean, there you are, nose down, enjoying a delicate whiff of dog or rat or grass snake or what ever when..........

FERRET COMING THROUGH!!!!!!

Well, the enjoyment is lost and you end up six feet in the air wondering what that was rushing past!

FERRET COMING................................!
Back home we got a super breakfast and after a brush we headed off to find a place to have a snooze.

The ferrets were already curled up on their cushion and fast asleep!

OTL was busy doing some paperwork before he headed off out, leaving us all alone with TM!

We will be glad when OTL gets back 'cos as much as we love TM, unfortunately,  we are not really interested in card making, too much glue!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Mr Brambles is getting faster!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

This morning we were all having a discussion about the best way to dig a hole.

When I say us I mean Holly, Snowflake, Mr Brambles and me! Old Two Legs was in having his shower, so we didn't include him in the discussion!

Both ferrets reckon they knew all about holes 'cos they are trained to dive down rabbit holes and chase the rabbits Out, so they have a better understanding of hole structures than us dogs wot chase rabbits Down holes and don't go into holes any further than our tails!

It was agreed that when we got down to the beach, we would all dig a hole and have it inspected to see who's the best!

Snowflake started off by getting down under the shells until she found good sand.

This is how it's done!
Once she had got down to good sand, Mr Brambles joined in and helped shovel loads of sand out of the way.

Come on Snowflake, we'll show them!
The trouble with digging holes in the sand is not taking notice of the wetness of the sand. The wetter it is the heavier it is when you try shovelling it out of the hole!

This is getting too much like hard work!
Now Holly and I knew this, so we just sat back and watched them get slower and slower!

You see, we have done our fair share of wet sand hole digging and didn't fancy getting too worn out before the day started!

So, we just sat there on top of the Sea Wall watching them!

Well, I'm not going to tell them!

All this hole digging is good for building up you leg muscles and you can see Mr Brambles is improving every day. After the hole dig, he ran almost all the way back beside Snowflake and even she commented that he was 'Looking Good'

When we got back to the car, they both had a drink from our water bowl, then dived into their travelling cage for another slurp from their own water bottle.

It was so funny watching Mr Brambles trying to get a drink while Snowflake kept licking his ear and nibbling at his neck!

That Tickles!

In the end they were both laughing and rolling about on the cushion!

OTL was out with his Dustbin Lorries again today and hasn't got back yet.

We're off now to see if there is any decent food downstairs, anything has got to be better than that Doggy Scoff!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Holly gets a Scare!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

It's all happening today!

First of all we got woken up by The Missus at about four thirty this morning, bouncing out of bed and waking everyone up, just 'cos she got an idea for a card!

Holly reckons TM needs some worming tablets to sort her out, Old Two Legs says that he has been trying to sort her out for more years than he can remember and hasn't even got near to it!

Well, having been woken up so early we decided to go out for an early jog along the Sea Wall. When we got down there, Mr Brambles was all set for a good run but Miss Snowflake chose to stay wrapped up in OTL's arms, warm and out of the wind!

That didn't stop Mr Brambles, he was charging about, sniffin' the sniffs and getting under our paws!

When we got down to the beach, it took Snowflake a little while to wake up but when she was awake and moving, both she and Mr Brambles dug a hole in the sand together. Holly and I thought it was a good idea, so we dug one of our own, but much bigger and deeper and we were woofing and growling while we did it!

Mr Brambles said the noise was 'Just Too Much' and marched over to our hole and pushed us out!

Cheek!

We had a great time running up and down the beach. Snowflake normally wakes up then heads straight back to the car park but today she was all full of it and joined us in the fun of rushing from one hole to the next!

Back home for a brush and some breakfast and then OTL had to go out on his own. No Dustbin Lorries today but this time it was the local council and some of their radios that needed 'Sorting Out'!

He was back later but too late for lunch, but just in time for our afternoon walk.

We left the ferrets sleeping, all cuddled up to each other in a Ferret Doughnut!

Down on the Sea Wall, we stopped to watch a rat dancing about on the beach looking for some shell fish for his lunch!

Nah! That's a Rat, not a Ferret!
Holly said it could be a ferret and wanted to 'Rescue' it but I put her straight and told her about the rat tail!

Then, as a surprise for me, OTL got a tennis ball out of his pocket and showed it to me! Well, I wanted him to throw it straight away but he kept 'Pretending' to throw it which got me a bit would up, so I gave him one of my ball throwing woofs!

Throw It!
We had some fun with him throwing it and me chasing the ball. Even Holly joined in when we were on the beach.

OTL spotted a 'Common Carder-bee' that was buzzing around some thistle plants and tried to take a picture but it was too quick for a clear shot but at least you can see the super yellow/orange back!

'Common Carder-bee'
Then it was back to ball throwing and still he kept teasing me until in the end I woofed to him to 'Throw The Damned Ball'!

Oh! I was getting cross with him!

'Throw The Damn Ball'!

In the end he put the ball back in his pocket and I showed off for a bit!

Holly sort of wandered off to do her own thing and missed us turning for home, so she turned at the next path and headed up to the top of the hill. OTL, looking behind him, couldn't see Holly, so started back down the hill to follow the path she had taken.

Holly in the mean time had got to the top of the hill, and couldn't see us, so she chased off in the direction we would have gone.

Now she is in front of OTL and I who are looking for her on top of the hill.

OTL has this special whistle he makes that calls us back to him and he was giving it some wellie calling to Holly, where ever she was!

Holly heard the call, stopped down near the rabbit patch, turned around and legged it back up the hill.

We were standing just over the hill when OTL spotted Holly running down the path to meet us!

We all were glad to see each other and Holly licked OTL and he rubbed her tail and I woofed a welcome hello to Holly!

So, there we were, all back together again!

Back home to see if the ferrets are awake!

OTL is out tomorrow on the Dustbin Lorries again, so that means TM  will be taking us out but she can't whistle like OTL so we have to keep an eye on her!

See you tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles

Another Sunny, Funny Sunday!

Hi Woofers!

It's us back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Yesterday was fun and we even got a photo sent by Archie's Mum of  Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles, together in Old Two Legs hands!

A Fist Full of Ferrets!
This morning, again, both ferrets came out with us and as normal, Miss Snowflake decided to cuddle up to OTL until we got onto the beach!

She took so long getting going that Holly and I decided to have a cooling paddle in the mud and I will admit, I even sat down 'cos it was so wonderful!

This is just Heaven!

OTL said that I was a Mucky Puppy and so was Holly for sitting in the mud as well.

Do we care?

Back home it was Lambs Heart for breakfast followed by a snooze.

Well, we tried to get a snooze but OTL was installing a new ink system for his super duper printer. Now you know what it's like with OTL, Instructions? Wot Instructions? Off he went pulling bits out and shoving bits in and then it was time to charge the system with ink.

Now, they supplied all the inks and a big book of instructions AND A PAIR OF RUBBER GLOVES.

Now these rubber gloves are for when you charge the ink system with six different coloured inks.

They know it could be messy and they know that ink on the fingers doesn't come off easily!

OTL has got CYAN coloured fingers now!

Wot a Plonker!

Mind you, it made him stop, have a think and take us out for our lunchtime walk while he cooled down from grumbling away about the inky fingers he now has!

When we got down on the beach, the tide was in, so, off I went!

This is COOL!
Of course, Miss Goody Four Paws, stayed out of the sea and said she didn't fancy getting her bits wet.

She doesn't know what she is missing!

Miss Goody Four Paws!

We spotted a Shopping Trolley in the water and asked what it was doing, to which it replied, 'Rusting, Just Rusting'!

Of course, OTL was there clicking away at the butterflies and this Common Blue is about the best he could manage today 'cos the wind was blowing in off the sea and blowing all the grass and flowers all over the place!

Polyommatus icarus
As we headed back to the car we spotted a Collie type running after a ball that was being thrown and we were fascinated on how he managed to jump up in the air and catch it! He just seemed to hang there in the air until the ball landed in his mouth!

We were Mesmerised!

Is he good or is he Good!
Back home to a snooze and try to ignore OTL grumbling about the inky fingers!

In the end he managed to get it all working and he even remembered to put the rubber gloves on when he filled up the next five reservoirs full of ink!

See you tomorrow!

A 'Master Class' in Ferret?

Hi Woofers!

It's us, 'The Famous Four' back again, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

What a day today!

It has been all 'Go' since we woke up this morning.

First off we had to get out early to get all the stuff up to the village hall for The Missus's Master Class. Then it was off to The Sea Wall with both Mr Brambles and Miss Snowflake.

Now that was a first for Old Two Legs, all four of us out together and no 'Helper'!

He didn't do too bad, lost me once but that wasn't unusual 'cos I was off after the rabbits in the 'Rabbit Patch' and OTL always knows I'm not going to get too lost!

To start off with, Mr Brambles wanted to be put down a soon as possible but Snowflake decided that a nice, warm, comfortable arm was the best place to stay until she got to the beach!

On the other hand, Mr Brambles was up for 'Run an Sniff' jog all the way down to the beach.

Whenever we stopped he would come rushing up from behind and start sniffin' but he started with us instead of the sniff, it don't half make you jump when a ferret suddenly appears between your back legs!

Down on the beach he was digging away while Holly and I had a 'Run and Chase', then I tried to sniff the hole but he chased me off!

Go an' get a 'ole of Your Own!

Miss Snowflake woke up and everyone was up and moving!

Come On I'm Off Now!
We all have to keep up with her and Mr Brambles did very well.

...and this is the Wall of Death!
I'm sure that OTL applied 'The Brake' to Miss Snowflake just so Mr Brambles had a chance to keep up, especially over the Rocky Bit!

It's OK if you 'Don't Look Down'!

Back home to a plate of 'Doggy Scoff' (YUK!) and a good brush down in readiness for our visit to the village hall.

Around twelve thirty OTL started to get us all ready, harness for the ferrets and our lead for us, plus some water and a towel!

We had decided that after the visit we would be off to the New Park for a change but the ferrets said they would pass on that outing and return to bed!

So, off we went to the village hall.

OTL parked up in the car park and then let us out so we could rush around to the hall entrance, he followed on with the travelling cage.

Then we crashed through the doors!

It was super, we met all the ladies, got patted and stroked, Holly went off looking for biscuits or anything else that was edible!

OTL was hanging onto the ferrets, making sure everyone knew the 'Bitey End' from 'The Strokey End'!

We must say that Mr Brambles and Miss Snowflake behaved themselves very well!

We said Hello to all our fans and said hello to some who might be!

After that we dropped the ferrets back home and then off to the New Park!

As soon as we got there OTL was snapping away at the insects.

Go On, Buzz Off!
I didn't hang about waiting for him, I was off to the Swimming Hole!

It was great fun and even Holly had a small 'Dip' to cool her claws off!

OTL threw the ball in but it floated too far out of my reach and I had to ask a passing collie to get it back for me!

He said his name was 'Patch' and he'll do it this once but not again 'cos he had his own ball to play with!

Come Back Ball!
Then he went back to 'Fetching' his own ball!

Throw It! Throw It!

Then a big Schnauzer passed by and said that we should take better care of our ball!

Keep Your Ball Safe Girls!
Off we went around the 'Orchard Walk' which is about two and a half miles long. We stopped a couple of times for a 'Rest' and OTL was back to photographing insects again.

This one is a Gatekeeper Butterfly, not a bad photograph either!

Shut the gate!
Back home to a snooze and wait for TM to return home. We always give her a big 'Welcome Back Lick' and Holly even lets he have a lick of her chew!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy,, Holly Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles

It's Raining!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back with you again!

We woke up this morning and there was rain falling on the garden and the pond. When the rain is really pouring down, it makes a super 'Tinkly' sound and providing your not stuck out in it, it is very restful.

So, there was The Missus, with the back door open, sitting on the sofa, listening to the rain fall.

Trouble was, she forgot to shut up all the other windows that were open and now we have wet, damp, dribbly curtains!

At walkies time the rain had stopped and Snowflake had gone to bed again, but this time she hid in the big box of paper that Old Two Legs keeps as an adventure playground for the ferrets. It was only the paper moving up and down that gave her away!

Mr Brambles was well up for a run and was waiting inside the travelling cage, waiting for OTL to put Mr Brambles harness on!

So that was it, just three of us this morning.

The rain had stopped but the grass was very wet and there were puddles all over the place. I went off chasing rabbits again, Mr Brambles was in and out of the grass sniffin' the sniffs and Holly was wandering about trying not to get too wet!

Sniffin' The Sniffs!
I could hear OTL calling me but I was having too much fun, well that was until I got caught on some bramble bushes and couldn't get free. OTL, Holly and Mr Brambles were wandering off, as they normally do, expecting me to catch up but I couldn't, I was pulling and jumping and wriggling but that bush was holding on tight.

I sat there and started to think, if I went in forwards, then by moving backwards, that should get the brambles out of my collar.

So I tried that and after a bit I was free!

I legged it across the long grass and up the hill until I found the others. I was a bit upset by that bush and I had to have a cuddle with OTL when he crouched down to pick bits out of my coat.

In fact I jumped up onto his lap and managed to get his nice clean trousers all soaking wet and just a little muddy, then he patted my tail and shoved me off!

Mr Brambles was still jogging along and enjoying the wet grass sniffs.

Holly and I had some fun chasing each other around on the beach and just as a joke we jumped into the hole Mr Brambles was digging! That was until he chased us out!

....and stay outta My Hole
The beach was full of interesting 'Maritime Sniffs' today, mostly sea weed and plastic bottles and sea gull poo!

So Many Sniffs!
Mr Brambles said that he never knew there could be so many sniffs in such a small area!

We spotted a Wormy Man heading off to dig in the mud and Holly suggested we go and see what he was digging.

There goes The Wormy Man!
When we saw just how far his boots were sinking into the mud, we decided that OTL might just have something to say about it when we wanted to get back in the car!

Well, maybe not this time!
Mr Brambles has got short legs and can't run as fast as us, but, some times we get really bored waiting for him to catch us up and to help him get a move on, we call to him to hurry up and Holly even called him 'Shorty' today.

That was it, he called back that if he caught us in the car, we would both feel his teeth in our butt's!

Oooh! Don't he get upset when you call 'Come on Shorty'!
When we got back to the car, Holly and I sat up the front with the big antenna and sat down on our butts so Mr Brambles couldn't  get to us!

After getting dried on our towel, he was put straight back into his cage, so there was no chance of him trying his teeth out on us today!

We had to share the car with a big antenna that OTL is messing about with on the Dustbin Lorry Job he is working on. He is delivering it this afternoon, fitting it next week and he reckons there are more lorries and even little sweepers he will be working on!

I don't mind delivering it but the pong when you get there is Terrible!
Once again, The Missus had to take us out for a walk, boring, boring, boring! We will be glad when OTL gets finished then we can have some proper walks and maybe even get down to The Forest where we haven't been for ages!

So, we are sitting by the window now waiting for OTL to come back and get his 'Welcome Home Lick'!

See you tomorrow and we will actually see some of you tomorrow won't we?

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles

Miss Snowflake & Mr Brambles try walking together and OTL grows a Ferret Moustache!

Hi Ho Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

What a day!

To start off, Holly wasn't feeling too good yesterday evening, she said it was the heat and it just took all her energy. So that was a good excuse to snooze the evening away!

Old Pongy Chops (Old Two Legs) got back late but said that he had finished all the work and he didn't have to go back!

Oh Yeah? He got a call first thing this morning 'cos one radio wasn't working properly, so he has to go down there this afternoon!

But, back to this morning.

The very expensive 'Tandem Coupler' coupler arrived yesterday and OTL said he would give it a try today!

The Missus was all up for this and even brought her camera along as well to record the fun and games!

Well, as predicted, one ferret wanted to go one way and the other wanted to stay still and in the end the 'Tandem Coupler' got all tangled up and there were ferrets all over the place!

Mr Brambles was getting cross with Miss Snowflake who wanted to go back and Miss Snowflake was getting cross with Mr Brambles 'cos he wanted to go into the grass and OTL was getting cross with everyone!
No, This Way!
In the end, OTL put them both on separate leads and they then went off doing their own thing while OTL was getting all confused in the middle!

Situation Normal!

This is Better!
Mr Brambles had great fun doing his 'Big Game Hunter' trick of hiding in the grass and shouting BOO!

BOO!
He thought that was super fun and kept doing that all the way down to the beach. OTL and Miss Snowflake thought it was funny to begin with but after fifty times the joke wore a little thin!

In the end OTL picked up Mr Brambles and Snowflake, just so he could make some progress!

We're all going OTL's Way!
Now it's OK to get carried some times 'cos it helps you save a bit of energy for digging holes on the beach but it got all embarrassing when OTL held both ferrets up to his nose and asked us if a Ferret Moustache would look good on him.

Ferret Moustache anyone?
YUK!
There are some things just too horrible to contemplate and that is one of them!

Both ferrets went back to sniffin' and Holly and I joined in but what interests a ferret doesn't always turn us on!

Mmmmm! Mouses or maybe a vole?
Holly thought it was a good idea to have a paddle in the cool mud but TM was too close and so decided to just have a sniff rather than sit down in it!

To Sniff, or Not to Sniff, That is the question!
On the way back to the car we met up with Barney, we hadn't seen him for some time and it was good to catch up on all the news!

Barney was interested in Mr Brambles and even asked OTL if he could have a game with him!

Go On! You throw him and I'll go and fetch him back!
OTL said that Barney should stick to fetching balls!

When we got back to the car, we were all hot and thirsty, Miss Snowflake got to the water bowl first.

Oh! That's Better!
Then I had a drink, then Mr Brambles had a good drink and a wash of his whiskers as well.

Holly was sitting on the centre consul of the car looking back at the ferrets and she was having a good old grumble, it went something like this,

'WillyouhurryupandgetyoursnoutoutofthatwaterbowlandletsomeoneelsehaveadrinkbeforeIdieofthirst!'

Mr Brambles said he was sorry and got out of the water bowl but Holly wouldn't go near it until Mr Brambles was put back into the travelling cage together with Miss Snowflake!

She maybe a potty puppy but she's not that daft!

Back home to breakfast and a snooze, which we all needed, both ferrets were exhausted after their run.

The only thing that would get me out of bed is a BIG bottle of Ferretone!
Mr Brambles said you could keep the Ferretone until later, he needed a good long snooze!

Gone Man, Solid Gone!
Well that's about all today, at lunch time OTL was off to do a radio and we got a walk with TM at lunch time.

So we are now waiting for OTL to come back and get our 'Big Puppy Welcome' type greeting. That's where he gets on his knees, removes his glasses and then opens the door and we are then all over him!

Great Fun!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
