Too Many Fans!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles here with you again!

Well, after finally uploading that film of The Missus making a card, it seems that it was a bit of a 'Hit' and there have been a couple kind comments!

Old Two Legs is wondering if he should give up retirement and go into film production big time!

TM has been walking around all day saying 'Five Bob to talk to me!'

Wot a Tart!

OTL was well pleased, he got a delivery of a bottle of 'The Water of Life' on of his favourite slurps and he has put that away for 'Later'!

This morning when we went out it was raining, a sort of misty type of rain and when we got to the car park it was wet enough for OTL to leave the camera in the car, so, no pictures of Miss (I Wanna Go Home) Snowflake showing off!

Mind you, when we got back home she was rattling the cage door to get out and have a game with OTL in the office. The only problem with that idea was I'm under the desk trying to get a snooze and all she wanted to do was crawl onto my cushion with me!

No Way Pedro!

I did one of my 'Grumbles' and I got thrown out of the office to carry on my snoozing on the bed, wrapped up in TM's fleece!

We had chicken for breakfast, so I wasn't too worried, a full tummy and a soft bed, what more can a Woofer ask for?

Lunchtime we were out again and the sun was trying to poke its nose out from behind the clouds. It is still very wet under paw so Holly and I had a game of 'Jump The Puddle' and of course, I won!

OTL was playing about with his camera doing a 'Depth of Field' exercise. He does this every so often just to make sure he knows how to get an effect!

This one shows a very shallow DOF, this is when you want to draw the viewers attention to a subject!

 The next one he had to do some guessing at and set it up so that the rocks in the foreground would be in focus and the mud in the distance would also be in focus.

I don't think he got it spot on 'cos he didn't have his DOF Calculator with him!

Back home TM announces that she wants to do 'Another Film'!

Oh Gawd, I can see the house being turned into a permanent film set! Mind you, just think of all the 'Franchise Deals' we could do? We could make loads of money and dine on Beef Steak every day!

Peter Jackson OTL is Not!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

What a day we've had!

It started off this morning when we went out for our normal stroll along the beach. The sun was trying to poke through the clouds and foggy stuff and not making a good job of it. Mind you, Old Two Legs had fun saying he was 'Painting With Light' and was looking for a scene that had an 'Ethereal' look to it!

What ever turns you on! 

'Ethereal'?

 Miss Snowflake was showing off. After her demanding her own Poo Pot, she now wants us all to turn around and face away from her while she has a wee! Well, I mean, I thought I was the shy one but I think she even has me beat!

No Peeking!

 Mr Brambles was in a good mood, charging around, digging holes and showing off his tail! He reckons that the tail may not be as big as Snowflakes but the colouring gives it more 'Depth'.

Holly reckons he has been listening to OTL again, 'Painting with Light'!

It has Class and Style and Depth to it!

 Holly and I were having a sniff on the beach when Miss Snowflake came creeping up the beach towards us. I was a good job Holly spotted her or we would have had her nipping at our heels!

'Fire In The Hold'!

Back home and we found that there was only 'Doggy Scoff' in our bowls, not the best start to the day!

However, things started to get interesting when OTL brought Tripods, Lights, Cables, Camcorder and other stuff down to where The Missus makes her cards.

Then we remembered, TM wants to put a film on You Tube!

It was so funny, TM was supposed to be the 'Star' and OTL was supposed to do the Directing. Well, it started off with OTL saying that TM should do a practise run first and TM telling him 'No', she was going 'Straight in' and that was 'cos she knew what she wanted to do and it wasn't going to take long and for him to 'Get On With It'!

After 'Take 27' she was getting 'Stressed'!

In the end she listened to OTL then said that she had a better idea and did exactly what OTL had suggested and called it her idea!

To cut a long tail short, she finally managed to get a demo done of her making a card and after OTL had messed about getting it on the computer and saving it in the file format that You Tube will accept, they started to load it up.

Now, we live in a 'Rural' part of the world and the telephone lines are not the best or clearest in the world and the Broadband, well let's say that sending a letter by 'Post Haste Stagecoach' is quicker!

The file is being uploaded now but the computer reckons it will take about eight hours to upload!

Eight Hours? It would be quicker to put it on DVD and send a copy out to to the six hundred 'Followers' she has on her blog!

Lunch time came and we were off to the beach again, the sun had crept out from behind all the mist and fog but out to sea Southend on Sea was still covered!

 While we were walking along the beach we noticed a strange set of waves coming ashore, OTL reckons it could be the wash from a passing ship that finally arrived on our beach!

I see no Ship!

 So, that's our bit of fun, let's hope the sun keeps shining and makes the ground dry and gets rid of all the mud!

Fussy Snowflake!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles back with you again!

It was a bit chilly this morning, in fact, so chilly that The Missus insisted on us wearing our 'Waggles' Fleece Lined Jackets!

Now, don't get me wrong, but we like the look of these jackets and the way it slips under our chest and does up around our tummy. The one big problem is when we get a trot on, we manage to put our paw through the hole where our neck is and, well, it's not very comfortable!

So, Old Two Legs is going to do some 'Re-Engineering' and try to close the neck hole up a bit, then, with a bit of luck, our paws will stay where they're supposed to stay!

Snowflake was doing her bit complaining about how small OTL's pocket was and where is the 'Carry Bag' he had ordered?

Not Much Room Here!

 Mr Brambles called down that he would change places with her if she wanted a bit more room!

Come up here, there's plenty of room!

 She said that she would stay where she was 'cos it's much warmer in OTL's pocket, even if it was a bit cramped!

There was a bit of frost on the ground, not much but enough to let Snowflake slide down the hill a few feet!

As it was cold enough for frost, all the sniffs were frozen, so it was fun picking them out from the normal sniffs!

Mind you, the frost didn't hang about for very long and pretty soon it was back to the muddy stuff!

It's a bit Quaggy Girl!

 Back home to a Chicken Breakfast and a snooze under OTL 'Work Station' or Desk to anyone else!

Now, OTL has been having a little problem with the ferrets, you see he has installed a big 'Poo Pot' for them in the corner on the ground floor and up to a few days ago, they both used it.

Then someone started to have a poo or a wee outside the pot, in the other corner, which was a pain to clear up 'cos it was under one of the shelves OTL has mounted all around the cage to act as a stairway up to the second level.

Who was Poo'ing past the Pot?

After keeping a watch out we discovered it was Snowflake who had changed her habits! It seems that she just didn't feel right having to share a poo pot with Mr Brambles!

Now we have two Poo Pots on the ground floor and they are named,

His & Hers!

So far it's working, Mr B carries on as normal and Miss S hides under the shelf when she wants to go!

Holly says Snowflake is just as fussy as me!

Our lunch time walk was a little warmer but the ground is still very quaggy!

This is too Quaggy!

OTL was creeping around with his camera trying to creep up on a Seagull, as you would expect, the gull was wide awake and watching him!

Oi! I'm trying to get some sleep up here!

Back home we crashed out in OTL's office while he pounded away on the computer doing wot he does!

Not too sure what OTL has got for dinner tonight but you know we haven't been able to mug any scraps since we got weighed. This slimming lark is dead boring!

Claws crossed the rain will stay away and the ground will dry off!

See you tomorrow and there should be some fun going on 'cos The Missus is going to have a practise doing a demo with OTL recording in on the camcorder!

8x10 glossy pictures will be available in time, signed with her own hand!

Silly Sunday!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

You know what? Old Two Legs didn't set the alarm last night and were it not for our impeccable timing, he would have over slept this morning!

Just to make sure, we woke him at four with a couple of ear licks, just to get him going!

It was a bit soggy on the walk this morning and both Snowflake and Mr Brambles had a jog along the beach in the morning sun, which was rather warm for a change.

 After a jog they settled down to doing some digging, just to help shape the beach again!

This is so much better than sitting in the cage!

Mr Brambles got going with a couple of holes while Holly and I played a game of 'You Go First'!

I can hear you fidgeting!

In the end we gave up 'cos OTL kept calling us to play with the ferrets!

Honest, I'm quite alright playing on my own!

The rock wall was fun for the ferrets as they scampered between the boulders!

Outta Me Way Slow Coach!

 Mr Brambles kept on getting in our way every time we stopped for a sniff, he would come charging up, shove his nose in and say 'Wotcha Got Girls?'

This is getting just Too Much!

I decided to have a word with him about the etiquette of sharing a sniff and how he ought to clear off and leave us doggies to sniff on our own!

It was then that he showed us his teeth and said.........

Yeah? You and who's army!

It was then that OTL stepped in and told us both to behave or we'll both be in trouble!

I will admit to hanging back a bit to investigate a particularly good sniff which ended up with me having a little roll and OTL banning me to the back of the car and when we got home I got called a 'Smelly Nelly' and washed in Doggy Shampoo and a big bowl of warm water and I got washed from my nose to the tip of my tail!

Mind you, the lambs heart tasted good so I didn't mind the wash really, it was loosing the super sniff that I showed off about, I spent a long time getting it spread all over my back!

 I was wondering if I should have shown the sniff to Mr Brambles and got him to have a roll!

The afternoon walk was fun, the fishermen were out and the tide was in but no one seemed to be catching anything at all and there were no sandwiches to be had either!

Holly was not pleased!

 All day today OTL has been playing on his computer, which is boring at the best of times but he has promised to have a game tonight with some of the ferrets squeaky toys!

TM's off and away with the Glue Pot!

Hi Woofers!

It's Saturday, so we're back again!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Holly and I played a good game on Old Two Legs this morning, we both gave his ear a good licking and pretended it was time to get up. You know he got up out of bed and half way to the bathroom before he looked at the clock and discovered it was only three thirty!

A bit later, when it was time to get up, he said he deserved an extra hour in bed 'cos we had played the trick on him! The Missus soon sorted him out, she was marching up and down the stairs, dragging boxes and pots and machines and drawing implements and loads of other card making stuff.

She made so much noise that no one had any chance of snoozing, so OTL got up and paddled around the office for half an hour, just to show off!

So, that was it, load up the car with all T's junk, sorry, card stuff and then take her up the village hall for her day of 'Glue & Glitter'!

Down on the beach, Mr Brambles went into 'Engineering Mode' and said he was going to 'Landscape the beach'

Pile it High!

 Snowflake has been telling stories of when she was a 'Working Ferret' and would chase rabbits out of the warrens and how she was the very best at sneaking up on rabbits without being seen!

On the way back to the car she gave a demonstration of 'Sneaking'!

 I had a go after her demonstration and she said that I was good, but I was making too much noise with my feet and I was breathing too heavily! Just like TM when she is asleep!

 Just to finish off the lesson, she showed how is was done on Mr Brambles who really didn't want to be 'Sneaked Up On' 'cos he was enjoying a good sniff!

No time for sniffs, Snowflakes is in Sneaking Mode'!

Back home we crashed out and had a snooze while OTL was playing with his new Kindle, (a birthday present from TM) and he has now got the email working, ordered up a case for it and downloaded a photography book so he can learn how to take photographs!

Some Hope!

Down on the beach at lunch time was a trifle drafty and on top of that, damp, a nasty drizzle and of course OTL had forgotten our coats!

Do I look like I'm having fun?

 Holly wasn't too impressed either, too many puddles for our girls liking!

How long before Summer gets here?

 I don't suppose that the fact it was High Tide and the beach was covered in water and there was nowhere to run except in the muddy grass and puddles!

 Holly and I have left OTL playing on his Kindle thingy and we're off to sit at the window and see who is first to spot TM coming down the path!

Who's a Pretty Puppy?

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

What a run around day we had. First thing this morning we rolled over and went back to sleep again!

Well, after such a busy day we deserved an extra half an hour in bed!

Old Two Legs got up at the normal time and spent half an hour thrashing around the office on the Mary Celeste!

Not a pretty sight!

We left the ferrets in bed and went off for a walk, OTL said it would be too wet for the ferrets but it was OK for us 'cos we were going straight down the parlour after our walk!

We started our walk and very soon it was obvious that we were about to get soaked!

Dark clouds and spots of rain, yep, it's going to be a wet one!

Here come the rain!

Just before it started to pour down we were treated to a vertical rainbow that turned into a 'Y' shaped rainbow!

There's the Rainbow and here comes the rain!

 We got back to the car and we were all soaked, including OTL!

Am I too wet for the parlour?

 Later when OTL picked us up, we were straight down to the Sea Wall again but this time OTL kept us off the muddy bits and we both managed to get home without tons of mud on our paws!

 OTL insisted on taking our photo, so we kept turning our heads away every time he pressed the shutter release!

Back home we were presented with a bowl of chicken, so not a too bad a day after all!

I've been watching the ferrets having a game in OTL's office and I managed to get up on the work top while they were running around on the floor. I felt quite safe, until Snowflake started to climb up the side of the cage!

Scary!

OTL's Birthday

Hi Woofers!

Sorry we missed yesterdays blog but we were out all day celebrating OTL's birthday!

Snowflake and Mr Brambles decided to stay at home and act as guards while Holly and I acted as 'Close Protection Guards' and made sure OTL didn't get into trouble!

We went down to see Alun & Glynis and spent a very enjoyable day listening to them telling old war stories!

we were left on our own while they went out for a meal but when they came back, The Missus had a 'Doggy Bag' with her which had some sirloin steak and some fillet steak inside!

Wow! We were 'Nose Down, Tail Up' until that lot had gone!

OTL says that the restaurant must have put some extra in the bag 'cos there wasn't that amount left on their plates!

We didn't get home until late and as soon as we got in we all fell into bed and were asleep in no time!

We are off to the 'Parlour' this morning so we'll be back later today with more tales!

Wot A Grey Day!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

Wot a dull old day it has been today. Old Two Legs got up late 'cos he forgot to set the alarm and missed out on his 'Paddle' around the office, so, he has promised to do a bit of exercise this afternoon, before dinner time!

We all went out for a walk this morning and there was no sun peeking through the clouds, it was just clouds!

OTL decided to leave the camera in his pocket and concentrate on trying to keep us all in order!

Mr Brambles did his Hole Digging and Miss Snowflake did her 'I Wanna Go Back To Bed' bit while Holly and I ran off down the Sea Wall looking for rabbits, which weren't there!

Back home to some Chicken for breakfast and the ferrets went off to make a mess of the office!

Lunch time OTL took the big camera and switched it to Monochrome, just to see what sort of pictures he could get on such a grey day.

Both ferrets declined to get up and said that they would stay in bed while we went for a walk!

Thanks for the offer but I'm just too tired!

 Mr Brambles was sleepy as well and didn't even open his eyes!

Off you go and have fun, I'm too comfortable to join you today!

Off we went and in no time we were down on the beach watching OTL try some 'High Speed Photos!

What he did was to throw a stone out into the water and then take a load of pictures as it hit the water!

Splosh!

 Now, silly OTL forgot I was standing just behind him and as soon as he threw the stone, I went to chase it!

I got wet right up to my tummy before he stopped me going any further into the cold water!

It was his fault for throwing it!

Well, what do you expect a doggy to do, sit down and watch the splash?

OTL stopped throwing stones and instead crept along the beach trying to take pictures of Holly and me.

Holly of course just stood there and 'Posed' for him, The Tart!

My Best Side?

I was up on the Sea Wall and OTL tried creeping along the beach and poking his head up and taking sneaky photos, that was until he got caught out by camera shy Robert!

Hey! Wot?

In the end I stood still and did my 'Wire Haired Terrier' pose that my mum had taught me when I was a little puppy!

In a couple of days I will be off with Holly down to the Poodle Parlour for a Shampoo & Set and get my nails trimmed as well. I reckon we'll look dead smart then!

Now we have been planning what we will do to OTL in the morning, you see it's his birthday tomorrow and Holly reckons we should start off by jumping up and down on the bed singing our 'Happy Birthday Song'! Next we are going to let the ferrets loose so they can do the same!

Now that should be a good joke that he will remember, all we have got to decide is, what time we shall do it. About three thirty should be a good time!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Hi Woofers!

It's Us again, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Super Day today, it has been sun shine from the start. Old Two Legs was up early'ish this morning and managed to get his paddling done before the sun came up! That was very good 'cos it means we can get down to the Sea Wall before all the Mini Two Legs get into school.

The reason we like that is because there are loads of cars all parked outside the schools in the most awkward places and it is a real pain trying to get past them all, plus it upsets OTL that with a little forethought, they could all go  fifty yards down the road and park in a proper car park and then walk to the school!

OTL says that little Two Legs don't get enough exercise walking to school. When he was a little Two Legs he had to walk three miles to school, along major roads! Holly wanted to know if he was ever in danger of being run down by the stagecoach or held up by Highway Men, but decided to let it pass 'cos she wanted to get out and have a wee and didn't want to listen to a long lecture by OTL!

We think it great fun when he starts mumbling dark curses at all the badly parked cars and the pram pushing Two Legs standing in the middle of the road gassing away!

Poor OTL, all that steam coming out of his ears can't be doing him much good! Holly reckons we should call him Old Grumble Guts, or OGG instead of OTL!

 Down on the beach the sun had just got over Sheerness and was reflected off the wet mud, very pretty!

And ten seconds later, it was gone!

 Holly and I had a good time digging holes and OTL had to use the Flash on the camera, which made my eyes look weird, mind you, that's what happens when you are hungry!

Back home we got 'Doggy Scoff'! You know, after the chicken yesterday we thought we had finished with this diet thingy but no, we are still suffering!

There must be somewhere we can got for a a Judicial Enquiry on what food we should get. I mean, we don't even get any muggins or nibbles! Even OTL has given up Shortbread until he looses five kilos!

To make up for the hunger pangs, OTL is concentrating on this Infrared Camera Thingy Whatsit and I will admit, it's getting better, not brilliant but better!

Mind you, it does help to have a sunny day 'cos there's more definition to the photo!

We think it looks better converted over to Black & White!

Of course, Holly Dog was getting all ' Fashion Model' like and spent some time posing for OTL. This is her 'Posh Pose' you know, nose in the air!

Then OTL wanted us both in the same shot but I was getting fed up with Holly talking about how I should turn around and show my 'Best Side'!

I mean, at least my body has sides, unlike her who is more rotund where she should be flat!

Chin up Girl! You don't want to look like your frowning!

I think the best shot was when we were walking along the top of the Sea Wall, you can tell it is Holly in front, I mean, just compare the silhouette!

The camera doesn't lie, much!

 After lunch we all settled down to a snooze, except Miss Snowflake who was rattling the cage doors to be let out for a rampage around the office. OTL got the 'Cat Tease' out and the pair of them had great fun chasing each other in and out of the cardboard boxes and in and out of the cardboard tubes!

It took about an hour before she crawled back into Snowy Heights and fell asleep cuddled up in Mr Brambles front paws!

We are expecting the new Ferret Bag to arrive tomorrow, now, that will be fun trying that out!
