Busy, Busy!

Hi Woofers!

Us Again! Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

This morning it was not very nice outside, we knew that 'cos the ferrets said that they would pass on the morning walk, due mainly to the rain falling out of the sky and making big sploshing sounds in the pond!

How do they know all that from inside a cage?

They were right tho' and it was left to Holly and me to get Old Two Legs out of bed and onto his paddling machine!

We think he is getting too old for the machine, it seems it is getting harder to clear the one thousand strokes in half an hour and he doesn't look too good when he has finisher either!

Off we went in the rain but by the time we got down to the car park, the rain had stopped, just the rain, the wind was as strong as ever!

We met up with Max and Oscar and it was Oscar who wanted to know where the ferrets were 'cos he fancied a sniff!

I Wanna Ferret!
He seemed most put out when we told him they were at home, snoozing!

Well, as we didn't have the ferrets with us, Holly and I decided we would go chase a rabbit or two in the woods above the beach. We don't normally go there and it is only when we 'escape' that we get there and it's always muddy!

We got marched back to the car, on the lead and Holly said we more than likely would get Doggy Scoff again!

Lucky for us, it was Chicken! Brill!

Miss Snowflake has been going on about her 'Selfie' yesterday and it has been boring us no end! Even Mr Brambles was getting fed up and that is very unusual 'cos he normally thinks Snowflake is wonderful!

When we got out at lunch time, OTL decided it was warm enough for the ferrets to come with us, especially as the rain had stopped!

Mr Brambles whispered in OTL's ear that he wanted to have a go at his own 'Selfie', just so he can shut Miss Snowflake up!

A 'Selfie' by Mr Brambles!
 That'll sort her out!

Down on the beach Holly and I were tearing along the beach doing our 'Flying Practice'!

A Low Flying Woofer!
Miss Snowflake said that ferrets can't fly, however, they are very good at impersonations. So, just to show us, she did an impersonation of a young seal pup!

Squeak Squeak, I'm a Seal Pup!
Holly said that she should have buried her tail 'cos it spoilt the show and offered to dig a hole for her!

Holly and I began to dig a Super Sized Hole but Mr Brambles, who had been listening to our making fun of Snowflake, got all protective, as he does, and chased us out of the hole!

A Tail End Hole!
Before long he had nipped both Holly and I on the back legs, so much so that we had to get out of the hole, leaving it all to him!

I Want My Hole Back!
No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get Mr Brambles out of the hole. I tried Woofing, and Growling and I even jumped over the top of him but he still wouldn't get out!

I Said It's MY HOLE!
At that point he started to chase me down the beach but he's nowhere near as fast as me! I returned to the hole to take possession, who should I find there?

Snowflake!

Out or I'll nibble Yer Claws!
It wasn't long before Brambles returned and between the pair of them they took possession of the hole again, and then they both wee'd in it!

.....and here's a little present!
That was it, ferret wee stopped play!

We all headed back to the car but we noticed that OTL was hanging back 'cos Mr Brambles had dived off into the undergrowth, he said he was chasing a Mouse but Snowflake says it was a Vole!

You see, Mouses and Voles tend to confuse him a bit!

What is he doing now?
When we got back to the car, OTL gave us all a rub down with the towel and was about to get in the car when I spotted some strangers coming up the path, well, no stranger gets past us, so I set about telling them to 'Woof Off'!

Not that they took any notice but it was fun telling them to Woof Off anyway!

'Woofoffnoworyoutwowillgetthepleasureofmyfrontteethburiedinyourbackside'
By the way, I forgot to mention that last night we were hoping for some good mugging from OTL's diner plate but you know what TM gave him to eat?

Salad! YUK! YUK! and DOUBLE YUK!

It looks like TM hates him as well!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

We have fun doing more Selfies!

Hi Woofers!

Us again! Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It was a super walk this morning, loads of fun! First of all we chased a rabbit across the Hunting Ground but it got away, well, actually, we lost it. Old Two Legs said we were going right while the rabbit was going left and by the time we had worked out what was happening, the rabbit had made it back to bed and was snoozing its whiskers off!

Miss Snowflake, flushed with the success of her pictures yesterday decided to get OTL to put on the 18mm lens instead of the 50mm one he had on yesterday. This was so that we could get everything in the frame and in focus!

This is her first attempt but as she said, I want a Selfie, so that means no OTL!
That's the trouble with these 'Ferret Diva's' They must have everything Just So!

That's better, a Snowflake Selfie!
Down on the beach we all had a sniff around, except OTL, who has a very bad sense of smell and doesn't complain, even when Holly lets one go!

Then Holly said she was going to 'Catch Some Rays' and sat down on the sand and closed her eyes!

Because there was very little wind blowing, it felt really warm. Roll on Summer

Holly, Catching The Rays!
OTL stopped off at the trees on the way back to the car to see if the 18mm lens would do anything for the blossom.

We decided that it was pretty, but nothing to set the world alight! Mind you, it did at least tell us that Spring has arrived!

Yep! Spring is Here!
Talking of Spring Arriving, the nest box we have outside the office window keeps getting visited by a pair of sparrows. Now, this year OTL has been a bit lazy and didn't clear out all the old nesting stuff from last year, so we are not too sure if the sparrows will take up residence or they're scared off by the sniff of the last family from last year.

We will let you know what happens!

Just before the ferrets were put back for their morning snooze, we saw Miss Snowflake busy ferreting about in one of the boxes that make up their Adventure Playground.

When asked what she was doing she replied, 'Making My Own Box Camera!'

Smile and watch the ferret!
The Missus 'Hates Us' 'cos this morning we got Doggy Scoff! It's Horrid! Holly and I think she is going to starve us poor little puppies. We are drafting a letter to the RSPCDH!

(Royal Society for Protection from Cruelty to Daisy & Holly)

We are going to tell them how TM is trying to starve us!

That will teach her to look after us properly!

We need real food not this terrible stuff!

Weak with hunger, we went out for our midday walk with OTL.

First off we went to the carriers to drop off some stuff then, 'cos we were sort of close, we went to The Forrest!

It had been drying out and there were just a few muddy bits but we managed to stay out of them and keep to the dry bits! I had great fun charging through the forest, along the tree trunks and around all the trees!

Daisy on a Charge!
We ran all over the place looking for Squirrels!

Sniffing for Squirrels!
Then we went searching for Rabbits!

A Rabbit Hunt!
We didn't even see them! They must still be in bed snoozing!

Mine you, we went tearing around a corner and ran straight into a Super Big Bozo! He didn't woof and instead stood there looking all Bozo like! He gave us a sniff then went over to OTL and the pair of them got on a treat! Bozo was doing the 'I Love OTL' bit and OTL was tickling him behind his ear!

WOT A TART!

Tarts R Us!
We just couldn't take any more and rushed off to get a Last Sniff before OTL put our leads on!

Last sniff Sis before home!
OTL spotted some flowers and took a picture, as he does, but he can't remember what they are called. He has been looking in his books but still hasn't identified them yet.

That's what you get when you start playing with Bozo's!

Pretty but what are they?
Back home it was still Doggy Scoff in our bowls and we thought that The Missus was going to order us some Ox Heart!

Oh well, back to serious mugging of OTL tonight, let's hope he gets some decent nosh that we enjoy!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Miss Snowflake tries a 'Selfie'!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

First of all, Archie Babe, eating plastic bags is not good practise! Not only do they taste horrid but if you suffer from the Windy Poops you could find yourself blowing balloons from the wrong end!

Stick to Rabbit Poo and Horse Droppings!

As for Angie's computer doing the Freezy Thing, yes, they do that this end of the world but Old Two Legs just shouts at it and casts dispersions upon it's parentage!

Even then it sometimes refuses to work and we have to 'Re Boot It'!

This morning we got up to glorious sun shine, even though it was a little cold!

Off we all went, down to the beach and Miss Snowflake decided that she wanted to sit in OTL's arm and look at the scenery around her, plus she wanted to see us chase rabbits!

Next thing we know, she had climbed up on OTL's shoulder and whispered in his ear, 'How about a Selfie?'

Now we know that OTL is always up for a challenge, so, putting the shutter release on 'Continuous' he waved the camera about and only one was any where near being watchable!

A Snowflake Selfie!
Talking about 'Selfies', The Missus told us about her putting her face on Facebook, before she had put her makeup on.

OTL said it should have a warning sticker put on it before anyone was allowed to see it!

He also said that he could have a load of fun with Photoshop but TM wouldn't let him play, in fact what she said she would do to him was positively outrageous and we reckon illegal!

Well, not to be outdone, Holly and I decided that we would have our picture taken before we put our makeup on!

A Doggy No Makeup Selfie!
Down on the beach Miss Snowflake said she had been reading all about camouflage and 'Close Observation' and reckon it would come in handy when she is out hunting Mouses!

So, she said that she would hide and we were to try to find her!

Camouflage using whats around!
Of course, we all 'Hunted Around' and searched for her, but we couldn't find her anywhere!

Mr Brambles was doing his 'Tracking' game and said that he had found a Mouses Trail along the top of the Sea Wall!

I Sniff Mouses!
After her Camouflage trick Miss Snowflake decided to try some 'Free Climbing' on the Rock Wall!

We all said that was just too dangerous and she shouldn't do it!

Free Climbing with Miss Snowflake!
It wasn't long before we were back home and chomping on a Lambs Heart breakfast. The ferrets and OTL headed back to the office and had some fun before getting tucked up for their morning snooze.

A Snoring Snowflake!
At midday we went out again, leaving the ferrets at home, still snoring their whiskers off!

Our first stop was the Rabbit Hunting Ground and as you can see, 'Here Be Rabbits'!

Traces of Rabbit!
Holly and I set off trying to kick up a couple of rabbits but this time of the day they are all down in their burrows doing what our ferrets are doing, snoring their whiskers off!

Well, they were here about an hour ago!
I stood guard for a while after leaving the grounds, just in case one popped it's head out but I saw nothing!

Keeping an eye open, just in case!
We all enjoyed a run along the Sea Wall and Miss Potty Paws Holly Dog thought it was great to have a jog along the wall!

Miss Potty Paws Holly Dog!
Back home the ferrets were still sleeping so we decided to have a snooze as well.

Holly said that we had missed out on a 'Pirates & Princesses' party together with loads of food!

Megan, Finley & Ethan all have their birthdays within a few days of each other so they 'Pool' their parties and have a great time! Still, the next time we see the Mini Two Legs Grandchildren we have been promised some sausages and bacon sarnies!

Still, we have OTL to mug tonight, Shortbread and Malt Whisky, OTL has the whisky and we all share the shortbread!

Back to work tomorrow and did you know that next week the clocks all go .........sideways an hour!

See you tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles

P.S. Stay away from the plastic bag Archie Babe, Ready Packaged Poo is not a good idea!

Foiled by a Woofer!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

We have been 'Snitched' on by Angie! We know the clocks go back next week but we planned to get The Missus up an hour earlier so we could have our breakfast BEFORE we went out for our walk instead of half way through the morning!

We had planned to jump up and down on TM telling her it was later than she thought and she was in 'Deep Poo' by oversleeping!

What happened?

Angie Snitched on Us!

That's it! She gets a 'Black Mark' and it's going down in 'The Records'!

Flushed with his success yesterday with his old camera, Old Two Legs was out with it again this morning and I must say, it is easier to capture a 'Quick' shot. The other camera is very slow to take a picture, it must be all of two seconds after pressing the shutter release that the picture is captured and by that time the subject could be half a mile down the road, especially if you are a ferret!

This morning the sun was shining but there was a bit of a chill on the wind. Mind you, the ferrets were tucked up in their Ferret Bag and it wasn't until we got almost to the beach that Miss Snowflake stuck her head out and asked 'Are We There Yet?'

Are We...................?
Down on the beach Mr Brambles found some sea weed and proceeded to dig underneath to hide himself from the Marauding Eagles and The Nargles!

Bet You Can't See Me Now!
Miss Snowflake said he looked silly with his head under the sea weed and his back side sticking up in the air!

Mr Brambles didn't take too kindly to that and when he came out he said that the eagles had given up and gone away 'cos they couldn't see him!

It worked! Look, they've gone!
Holly said that The Ferrets were getting worse and when would they return to 'Normal' again?

She can talk!

We met up with Oscar & Max on our walk and they are fascinated by the ferrets.  They keep sniffing and woofing at them and of course, that makes the ferrets a bit nervous.  Both ferrets were on their leads when Max & Oscar came tearing around the corner and started to sniff and woof at the same time. Miss Snowflake was closest and got a big wet doggy nose on her back! She was just about to turn around and tell Oscar to 'Woof Off' when OTL got in between them and rescued Oscar!

It would have been fun to see Snowflake give him a 'Ferret Toothy Kiss' but OTL said that would give him the wrong impression of ferrets!

Remove your nose sunshine or I'll have it for breakfast!
Mind you, the ferrets thought it was great fun to see both of them woofers hooked onto their leads and walked back home!

That'll teach them to sniff our ferrets!

Max & Oscar in The Poo again!
Back home we found 'Crop', so, we had the house to ourselves! A Greasy Chicken and Biscuits followed by a snooze and some bird watching out the back garden while OTL finished off his work!

We left the ferrets at home 'cos they were both fast asleep in their bed and OTL said they looked too comfortable to wake up!

Lunchtime and we enjoyed our Rabbit Sniffing. It's OK having the ferrets on our rabbit patch but when we get it all to ourselves it's just more fun!

Rabbit Sniffing!
After the rabbits we headed off to the beach but the tide wasn't in yet and I wandered off to get some sea sniffing in!

The only problem was, the mud was a bit soft and the best sniffs were on the mud!

Sorry OTL, the mud was a bit soft!
Down the Sea Wall, Holly met an old mate and they had a run about and a woof!

Having a game with Holly's mate!
Back home we all crashed out on the sofa and even OTL had a snooze! We all woke up when Holly decided to have a woof at a couple of Collared Doves sitting in the tree in the garden. Holly says they were looking at the tree as a prospective nesting site.

Those birds have been trying to build a nest in our garden for years and always chose a place where the nest would keep falling out of the tree!

Maybe this year!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Cloudy, Rain, Windy, Sunshiny Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back with you on the first full day of Spring!

We do love the Spring Time! All the blooms are on the trees, the birdies are singing and there are more rabbits to 'Say Hello' to!

Like this morning, off we went for our morning jog along the beach but before we could get down there we dived off into the 'Hunting Ground' to say hello.

Rotten mean rabbits ran away! That's the trouble with rabbits, no manners!

Down on the beach the wind was blowing and although it wasn't cold, it was still a bit chilly! Of course, as soon as Old Two Legs put Miss Snowflake down you know where she headed!

Come on, just let me hang onto your socks for a while?
OTL, being used to her tricks did a quick 'Back Paddle'! Miss Snowflake was left to warm up by jogging along the beach!

It was fun watching her running after OTL and Mr Brambles calling out that he had got the best Tail on the beach!

Mind you, he was running along the 'Wall of Death' and kept slipping down the wall and to help balance he was swishing his tail from side to side!

Just look at This Tail!
Well, that took Miss Snowflakes mind off the temperature and pretty soon she had 'Fluffed up her tail and was wiggling it about as she walked along the Sea Wall!

Now, THIS IS A TAIL!
Of course, Mr Brambles didn't agree and called it 'All Wind and Waving', which I thought was a bit much but they carried on arguing all the way back to the car!

Mind you, I did see Holly waving her tail about but she just couldn't get it to Fluff Up like Snowflakes does!

When there was no one looking I tried to fluff my tail as well but all I could do was wag it!

It was a good job no one was looking!

Lunchtime OTL decided that the ferrets should come for another run 'cos the sun was shining and it was reasonably warm!

Today, OTL also decided to take his old camera with him and leave the Infrared Thingy at home, for a change!

The first place we started was the 'Hunting Ground' where the ferrets enjoyed themselves yesterday but today, no Infrared, and this time there were some new sniffs!

Mr Brambles started off with a Mole Sniff!

Oh Yes! This is definitely a Mole!
Which to be honest, I sniffed yesterday but he even had a little dig as well, so we left him to it!

Miss Snowflake got hold of a sniff she reckon is a trace of Weasel!

It is very possible that there are Weasels here 'cos we have seen one crossing the road a couple of miles back, so why not?

I can sniff Weasels, Honest!
When we got down to the beach I was frantic looking for a stick for OTL to throw in the sea for me but there nothing there! I was almost distraught! No swimming, all I did was get my tummy wet!

Here Sticky, Sticky!
Mr Brambles was having fun sniffing along the Sea Wall and said that he could sniff Holly Dog from this morning!

Mmmm, This is a Holly Dog!
By now Snowflake had decided she want to come out of the bag again and head up to the 'Second Rabbit Hunting Ground'.

OTL said she looked as if she has been asleep!

Can I come out again Pleeeease?
OTL got her out and both ferrets headed up the hill. Holly was not too happy 'cos if we went that way we would have lost half of our normal run!

Wot? That's the Shortcut for when it rains!
I didn't mind 'cos it means I get to try out my Rabbit Chasing skills for a second time and this time I was ahead of Holly, but not for long!

In fact, Holly and I were so busy OTL had to take the ferrets back to the car while we snuffled around the bushes, then he had to come back for us!

Back home we all crashed out, except OTL, and enjoyed a good snooze.

Not sure what is happening this weekend but we do know that The Missus is off to her local 'Crop' on Saturday.

With a bit of luck we may get to The Forrest and if the weather is good the ferrets may come with us, now that will be great 'cos they have never been there before!

We'll let you know what happens, especially as the clocks go forward an hour on Saturday night, OTL really hates it when that happens!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

We get Left at Home and the Ferrets get Two Walks today!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles are back with you!

It was an early morning for us today. Old Two Legs and The Missus planned to go out shopping for three hours and told us we couldn't go with them! We showed off! Mind you, I did wake OTL up good and early this morning, about four thirty!

I know how to get my own back when get left at home!

Down on the beach it was a little windy but the sun was shining and would you believe it, we didn't see any other woofers at all!

Just us, we had the whole Sea Wall to ourselves!

Mr Brambles headed straight for the Sea Weed, he is still looking for the Monster who keeps pinching his Sand Holes!

I Know You're in Here Somewhere!
We all had a good sniff of the air and both ferrets had a go at Rock Climbing!

Safety First, they were both 'Roped Up'!
It was all a bit of a rush and back home we found there was no breakfast! Just a bowl full of 'Tasty Doggy Biscuits'! I won't tell you what they taste of but I've tasted Rabbit Poo that was far more appetising than that stuff!

Before we knew what was happening they were off and gone! We were left to sit on our cushion looking out of the window!

Well, we all got some snoozing done, let's face it, it's not as if we can even play with the squeaky balls 'cos Miss Snowflake has hidden them all in the 'Adventure Playground'!

They arrived back a bit later and of course we made a fuss of them and OTL said he would take us all out for a long walk down on the Sea Wall, and that includes the ferrets as well!

As an experiment, he took the Infrared Camera Thingy 'cos he could put it in the ferret bag when the ferrets were out and running and it was quicker in taking a photo than the 'Point and Shoot' one he uses in the morning!

We started off at the Rabbit Hunting Ground and Holly and I rushed in woofing our heads off!

As you would expect, all the rabbits were off and gone before we got there but it was fun sniffing at where they had been.

Mr Brambles was very interested in the sniffs and spent a long time tracking where the rabbit had worked it's way across the patch of grass!

Mr Brambles having a Serious Sniff!
Miss Snowflake was also sniffing for all she was worth, being an ex Working Ferret, she knew just what to look for and where to go but she said that OTL would never let her off the lead 'cos he knew she would only wander off chasing sniffs!

All the best sniffs are on the air!
Down on the beach I soon spotted the tide was almost fully in, so that means just one thing.

Time to Go Splashing!

Me Having a Splash!
I had a super time, chasing the stick and then shaking all the water over everyone on the beach!

Miss Snowflake getting away from me shaking the water off my back!
Holly stayed well away, in fact she hid behind the breakwater until I had finished, it was only then she would come and try to pinch the stick!

No Way!

OK, Have you finished shaking all that water about?
Mr Brambles stayed well away as well but said that a little water didn't worry him at all. Mind you, he did spend most of the time in the undergrowth sniffing for Rabbits and Monsters!

Water won't hurt you!
We all had a great time and back home I got a second rub down with our Doggy Towel before going off for a snooze. The ferrets were flat out in their Ferret Bed and Miss Holly was stretched out on her back in OTL's chair dreaming of Rabbits and Chicken and Chews!

You know, it really is hard life we have, all this relaxing and snoozing and having a good time!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
