More Games in the Caravan!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

We are still busy getting all our stuff together for the holiday! Old Two Legs did a repair on one of the roof blinds that didn't last, so today he was out there making a proper job of it this time!

When he was going out to the caravan he asked if we wanted to go with him, of course we do but before we got into the caravan we legged it over to Auntie Sheila's place to say 'Hello'!

We were sort of in trouble but it didn't last long! The blind was fixed and then we were off to The Beach!

It was good fun down there and the sun was shining as well!

Sunny Morning.
We were all having fun, the ferrets were digging holes while Holly and I raced up and down the beach kicking up the sand.

Playing Chase with Holly!
I suddenly got a fancy for a morning swim and called out to OTL to throw a stick for me but he said that I was not going to make the inside of the car soaking wet!

So, I just stood there and said I wouldn't come out until he threw a stick!
So, I stood there, in the water while they all started to head back to the car.

And I stayed,

and I stayed,

and I stayed!

Is that a Soppy Puppy or Wot?
Back home it was back to work again while Holly and I had our morning snooze!

Lunchtime we were down the beach again and we came across a group of Two Legs who were taking photos of some models.

One of the models wanted to stroke Holly but as he didn't have and food with him, Holly said there was no chance of a stroke!

A Bunch of Posers with no food!
Holly said that they couldn't be that good 'cos they didn't have sandwich between them!

It was when Holly came trotting along, she said that she looked better than all of them put together!

I'm better looking!
OTL spotted a rose growing wild alongside the path and stopped to take a picture, looks good!

Growing wild along side the path to the car park.
The rest of the afternoon was spent delivering stuff and shopping. The best bit was when we went to the Doggy Shop and emptied the shelf of Chicken Fillets!

It's going to be a good holiday!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Getting ready to go!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

It's been a Busy, Busy, day today. Old Two Legs has been getting all his stuff sorted out before we go away on holiday. Holly and I have been making sure all our stuff is packed, swimming costume, wellies, rain coat, Chicken Fillets, Chews, Teeth Cleaning Chews, Choc Drops, Rawhide Chews, Oh! The list is endless!

OTL is trying to choose which camera and what lens to take 'cos there is no room in the car for all his camera stuff, two ferrets and us woofers and we haven't decided where The Missus is going yet!

We were out good and early for our stroll along The Sea Wall, Miss Snowflake was busting for a wee and kept asking if we were there yet!

Oh! Come On! It can't be much further!
Thankfully it wasn't and pretty soon she was feeling more comfortable!

OTL did his Ethereal Thing Again, he's getting just too boring and we are going to tell him if he tries it any more!

The Last Ethereal?
Miss Snowflake found a lump of wood and was trying to decide what to do with it, first of all she suggested it might be a good Surf Board!

Ideal for 'Catching a Wave'!
Mr Brambles said that with a bit of work with his hammer and chisel and a bit of scratching with his claws, he could produce a reasonable boat!

...and this where the mast goes, see?
They couldn't decide, so Mr Brambles wandered over to Holly and me and suggested a race down the beach.

OTL said he would do the count down for us. So, we all got ready.........

On your Marks, get set...............!
Mr Brambles cheated a bit 'cos he whispered that Miss Snowflake was behind me and by the time I had turned around to see if she was, Mr Brambles was tearing down the beach to the winning post!

I said it didn't count 'cos he cheated and he said I was just a bad looser!

Lunch time there were loads of Two Legs on the beach, some just enjoying the sun and others digging holes!

Aren't you supposed to be at work?
You would think it was holiday time the way they were all lying about over the place and getting in our way!

Oi! Your in My Way!
In the end I got fed up and went for a paddle so that the next Two Legs I met, I could walk over them with my wet paws!
OK, OK, I know it's Muddy but............I've got a plan!
Pity, we didn't bump into any more Two Legs spread out all over the path!

Shame really!

After our walk we headed off down to the caravan shop to get a new lock for the caravan 'cos the old one was getting a bit worn.

So now we have a new lock and another key to put on the key ring!

Tomorrow we start to load the caravan with all the stuff we need, so early to bed tonight!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

We are International!

Hi Woofers!

Привет всем нашим читателям в России!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!
Hey, did you know we have many readers in Russia? Well we do. When we look at our 'Stats' there is a large number of people in Russia who read 'The Diary'. So, with the help of the Google Translator we have just said Hello' to our readers in Russia, in Russian!

Now who's a clever Woofer?

Back to home, that Daisy dog had a surprise yesterday, her owners came back late afternoon, so that means we don't have to put up with her trying too pinch our seats in the car today!

The ferrets were please 'cos that also means they get their morning walk at the proper time and not halfway through the morning after the other Daisy was put back in her home!

This morning we were out early and guess what Old Two Legs spotted?

Fox Cubs!
Now you have got to remember that he only has the 35mm lens on the camera, so he couldn't zoom in like wot he can with the big lens!

Holly asked if they tasted like chicken and can we have a bite to try? OTL said that where there is young foxes there would be a Mummy Fox who wouldn't like us sniffing around!

We thought that was a sensible observation and headed down to The Beach!

Before we got to the beach OTL got all artistic and started talking about these mythical Ethereal Things again!

I don't care what he says, I still can't see an Ethereal anywhere!
To be honest, we think he is seeing fairies, too much malt whisky and shortbread!

Mr Brambles could be heard going Yahoo and Wheeeeeee! Then we spotted him bouncing around in some dry grass cuttings!

As Holly said, 'Soppy Ferret'!

Wheeee!
Down on the beach we were all having a sniff around then someone asked, 'OK, Who's got the ball?

If Daisy was here there would be one!
Along the beach the ferrets spotted a log half way up to the high tide mark. 'Come On' says Miss Snowflake give it a shove and we'll roll it back down the hill!

Sorry Dear, it just 'aint moving!
Back home Auntie Karen (The Cat Woman) had arrived to play glue slapping with The Missus.

Holly said the safest place to be was outside catching up on a sun tan!

An that's just where she stayed for most of the morning while OTL was doing some jobs in the caravan before we go away on our holiday!

This is the best place to be!
Mind you, Holly had to keep going up the end of the garden 'cos the sound of the water fountain tinkling away played games with her bladder!

Tinkle, Tinkle, little dog!
So, we are still working hard, well OTL is, he was last seen adjusting the hinges on the bathroom door in the caravan!

More work tomorrow and then The Missus goes in to fill it full of 'Important Things' like glue and glitter and paper and card and Distress Inky Pads and bottles of 'Splosh' paint!

Увидимся завтра!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

We like Bank Holidays!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Mr Brambles and Daisy!

What a Super Day!

We were up early this morning 'cos The Missus was crashing about down stairs tidying up after her Master Class yesterday!

We had a cuddle with Old Two Legs then kicked him out of bed to get the ferrets sorted before our morning walk!

Of course, we had to take that other Daisy and when OTL went to pick her up she was waiting by the kitchen door having just finished her breakfast of Doggy Scoff!

OTL put her on the long lead and off we went down to the beach. Now Daisy wasn't pulling so much on the lead and also she would stop pulling if OTL made her stop and sit beside him.

So, that was a good sign, and when we were on the beach OTL decided that she could come off the lead while we played 'Chase the Ball'

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Throw it Again!
We stayed on the beach and OTL threw the ball up and down the sand and even I had a go at getting the ball off Daisy.

Trouble is, she is just too fast!

Here you are, now, throw it again!
On our way back to the car she said that she could get used to all this walking!

I could get used to this!
Mind you I was still a bit put out that she was still trying to pinch my seat in the car and I have to give her the 'Woof Off' to remind her of her place!

Back home we left her to have a snooze while we picked up the ferrets and off we went again!

We enjoyed a slower walk this time and we had time to sniff on the way out!

This is a better pace!
Down on the beach the ferrets found that log washed up again and decided to roll it down to the sea and float it away. The only problem was, they couldn't get it started, even with Miss Snowflake giving the orders!

Come on! Put your shoulder into it!
We just had a lazy time resting on the sand and watching the fun!

I'll bet you two biscuits and a chew they'll never move it!
There was a moment when this big Bozo Alsatian came bounding up the beach, so I gave it a really big howling 'Woof Off' which didn't work 'cos he chased Holly up the beach!

Woof Off Bozo!
Miss Snowflake asked why it was that woofers were so noisy!

You don't hear Ferrets Woofing!
Mr Brambles was making his way back to the car and said he could sniff the sniff of Weasels, and stood there for a good three minutes concentrating on working out how many and their ages and how many there were in the family!

He's good like that!

Mmmmm and one of them has a limp!
Tomorrow it should be sunshine as well so we're looking forward to some more walkies along the Sea Wall.

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Mr Brambles and Daisy!

Bank Holiday Sunshine

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Mr Brambles and Daisy here!

Well, let's explain!

One of our neighbours has just got a caravan and is going away over the weekend as a 'Tryout' before spending a couple of weeks away in it on their summer holidays.

To say it will be cramped in there might just be under stating the fact, so, to make things easier they have left the dog, (Daisy) behind for us to give it 'Walkies' and Auntie Shelia to feed it!

Now we have never been properly introduced so you can imagine the fun in the car when Old Two Legs heaves this Springer Spaniel into the back of the car!

First of all it runs to the front of the car and sits in my seat!

I like this seat!
Cheek!

I do the 'Grumbly Bit' but it doesn't really know what I'm on about and sits there with a soppy grin on it's face!

I do some more grumbling and OTL tells me to behave myself!

Holly, had decided to take the mickey and starts singing.............

Strange dog in the car
Tra la la la la
There's a Strange dog in the car
Tra la la la la la
Strange dog in the car
Tra la la la la
She looks like a Woofer on the run
Run Run

That didn't help the situation at all!

All the way to The Beach I was 'giving it some' on the Grumbles side but it didn't do any good at all!

When we got down there, Holly and I shot off looking for rabbits but Daisy had to stay on the lead!

Her collar was a strange looking thing called a Nose Collar that turns her head if she pulls too much!

Yeah! I hate this collar!
Good job too, that'll teach her to pinch my seat!

All the way around she was kept on the lead and although she was running from side to side she couldn't get away! (OTL doesn't trust her to come back when he calls!)

We had a little game of Chase The Stick on the beach but she was too rough for me!

Gissa Ma Stick!
OTL had hung one of my old name tags onto her collar, just in case she got away!

As we went around there were the normal crowd we saw and they all asked if we had got a new 'Sister'! We explained why we had her and they all said we should let her off the lead to chase the stick but OTL says not until is sure she would come back!

Welcome to The Beach Daisy!
After we all had done our 'Business' we headed back to the car for a drink before heading home again.

Can I come here again?
Back home Daisy went back into her house for a snooze before the lunchtime walk.

We went up to the ferrets to tell them all about our run and they said they wanted a run on the beach as well!

So, OTL got them dressed in their harnesses and off we went, again!

Now this is a bit of luck! Two Morning Runs!

Mind you, when we got down there Holly and I rushed off to see the rabbits and missed the one that crossed the path after we went passed, but OTL saw it!

One we Missed, this time!
On the beach Miss Snowflake found a large lump of tree trunk and asked if OTL could throw it for us to chase!

She really must her eyes tested!

Can you throw this for the woofers?
Mr Brambles was taking the mickey by telling me that he had found some more Daisies!

Look at me amongst the Daisies!
I wandered off with Miss Snowflake, looking for some new sniffs and a bit of peace and quiet!

Any new sniffs?
As normal, the ferrets take a long time 'cos they want to stop at every sniff, even if they've sniffed it before!

Holly and I took time to have a rest in the shade of the table.

Now this is restful!
Lunch time we were out again and Daisy was well up for a run, she said that she had never had so may runs in a day!

I must admit we were enjoying it as well!

Daisy started off pulling hard on the lead but OTL kept pulling her back and making her walk beside him. She said it was rather boring but sort of half did what she was told to do!

Down on the beach OTL got the ball out and was throwing it against The Sea Wall so it bounced back. Daisy and I were rushing back and forwards to get the ball and she got it most of the time!

Jus' Throw The Ball!
After rushing about chasing the ball we headed back and all the way back Daisy wasn't pulling on the lead, looks like OTL was wearing her out!

So, now we are waiting for The Missus to return from another one of her 'Master Classes', just how much instruction do you need to slap some glue on a card and shovel Glitter Sparkles over it?

Holly and I reckon we could do it blindfolded!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake, Mr Brambles and Daisy!

We sort out a Husky and OTL sees another Ethereal Thingy!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

We had some fun this morning with both of the Two Legs!

First of all I got Holly to do her 'I Wanna Get Up on The Bed' woof at about two thirty. Then after Old Two Legs had got back to sleep again, I jumped up and crept up the bed and gave OTL's ear a good lick!

That was about three thirty!

Then, at about four fifteen, I got the feeling that I really needed to go out for a wee, so I stood downstairs and did my 'I Wanna Wee' whine that always gets The Missus to elbow OTL to tell him to get up and 'Sort Daisy Out'!

This morning, OTL was right across the other side of the bed, so her elbow couldn't reach and TM had to do the 'Sorting Out' herself!

Of course, by the time they had to get up, Holly and I had taken over the bed and were stretched right across in the best positions!

Great fun!

Down on the beach it was a bit windy and certainly not the weather for riding on OTL's arm, according to the ferrets!

They both stayed in the ferret bag and just stuck their heads out, asking every so often, 'Are We There Yet?'

.......Are we......?
Down on the beach OTL got all excited again about this Ethereal Thingy Wossit and to be honest, we couldn't work out what the silly old duffer was talking about!

Another Ethereal Thingy
I was more worried about the wind that was blowing in off the North Sea. It certainly was a bit chilly and my hair was being blown flat onto my nose as well!

Now this is just Too Windy!
We were all heading back to the car when Holly and I spotted a big Husky and his mate the Doberman heading up behind us, off the lead and looking to see what we were up to!

What was worse was the Two Legs wasn't anywhere to be seen!

Holly and I took up our Defensive Positions in front of OTL while he gathered up the ferrets into his arms.

The Husky was the first to arrive and totally ignored our woofing and instead had a sniff of our tails!

Then he wandered over to OTL who did the 'I'm a Big Two Legs and You Will Obey!'

As the Husky stood in front of OTL looking at the ferrets, OTL held up his paw in front of the Husky and woofed in his best voice..........'NO!'

Then he kept his paw there sort of blocking the Husky's face!

It's the same thing he does when he wants us to 'Stay'

Well, it worked until their owner came up and put them both on leads, and it was then that Holly and I did our 'Now Woof Off You Bozo's!' woof, from the safety of six paces behind OTL!

You don't mess with us and OTL!

Lunchtime was a little damp and a bit windy! When we got down to the beach there was an 'On Shore Wind' (Technical Stuff!)

The wind was blowing the waves right up into the air!

Large and Splashy!
OTL said that there was no way I was going to be allowed in for a swim.

Whoa! That looks Wet!
Does he think I'm stupid or summat?

Swimming? In That!
Over the holiday weekend we will have a neighbours woofer to take out on our walks, so that means the ferrets will have to go on a walk on their own!

The woofer is a spaniel type called Daisy!

Now, you know what sort of confusion there is going to be with two Daisy's!

Auntie Sheila will be doing the feeding bit and we will be doing the exercise bit!

By The Way, the ferrets are getting a petition together to protest about being left behind just so a woofer can be walked!

Summat about being 'Not Fair To Ferrets!'

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Rain, Rain and Rain and an hour or so of No Rain!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Didn't it rain last night! I mean, it even woke me up and I normally ignore rain on the windows but last night, well, it was a real 'Pond Filler'!

Needless to say, after Old Two Legs got the ferrets all harnessed up and in their travel cage, he took a look out of the window and decided it was too wet for them to go out.

They were not 'Happy Ferrets'! They do enjoy their morning run and being put back in the cage again was not their idea of fun!

They both showed off and Mr Brambles even threw his poo pot across the cage floor in his temper!

We went out and I will admit, it was a 'Quick Walk', you know, 'Do Your Business and leg it around the rest of the circuit!

Back home we were described as 'Soggy Doggy's' and we got a second rub down with a nice warm Doggy Towel!

Off for some Ox Heart and then up stairs for a snooze.

We were slightly disturbed by OTL and the ferrets playing 'Dook & Chase' around the landing, bedroom and bathroom!

OTL has discovered how to 'Dance' in front of Snowflake whilst on his knees, to invite her for a game and of course, she just loves that! First she bounds up to OTL and jumps up in the air in front of him then runs down the hallway to jump onto Mr Brambles back and give him a nip on the butt! Then it's back to OTL, but she doesn't bite him 'cos he is too quick to get his hands out of the way as she charges towards him!

He has however, worked out how to scoop her up while she is charging along and rolls her over onto her back and tickles her tummy while she is still 'Dooking' !

After about an hour both ferrets are ready for a snooze and this morning OTL even gave Mr Brambles ears a clean out, not that there was much wax there at all but he had been scratching his ears so OTL thought it would be a good idea to give them a clean and see if there were any mites there as well.

We're glad to report, no wax, no mites and nothing unusual at all! Normally Mr Brambles is fast asleep and then he suddenly wakes up, tears around the cage, goes flying down to the ground floor and scratches his ear and kicks the poo pots about.

OTL thinks it may just be a bad dream!

Miss Snowflake is due to have her ears wiped out as OTL can see a shadow of wax in the lobe, so she is next, maybe today or more than likely, the weekend!

Lunchtime, the rain stopped for about an hour, so OTL woke the ferrets up, got them dressed up in their harness and popped them into the travelling cage. Down in the car park OTL had to put his hand inside the cage and get them out, they had fallen asleep on the journey!

We had super game on the beach, I dug a couple of really big holes and Miss Snowflake decided she wanted them both!

and you can keep those ferrets away from our hole!
Mind you, we knew that we would loose the holes before long and we could see Mr Bramble creeping up!

What you got there my Holly Dog?
In the end we left the ferrets to the holes, we know when we're beaten!

Mine, All Mine!
We let them carry on and while I was having a sniff, Holly was pretending to 'Catch a Few Rays' even if she couldn't see the sun!

There is still the UV about!
Mr brambles was snuffling along the hedgerow and pretending he could sniff rabbit, just to wind up Holly!

Hey! Holly Dog! I can sniff loads of Rabbit here!
Back home and before long all of us were snoozing, except OTL who was playing on the computer doing something he calls 'Invoicing'!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
