A Lazy Day Today!

Greetings Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here.

It was cold this morning, there was ice all over the windows of the car. Old Two Legs spent ages scraping it all off!

When we got down to The Beach there were frozen puddles all over the place.

Pretty but very slippy!

Frozen!

Down on the beach we could see where the tide had come up to at the last High Tide.

We decided to have a game of chase but couldn't decide who was first to 'Go'!

No! You Go First!

Brambles and Snowflake had a super time diving in and out of the grass looking for Stoats and Weasels. They had just as much success as Holly has had finding rabbits!

I just 'Love' having a good Ferret around in the grass!

There was a noise and guess who crashed through the grass?

It was Bryn! He had been out with Max & Oscar but had held back, just to say hello to us all!

Back home OTL was back to working making stuff, so Holly and I used the time to have our normal snooze  in OTL's office.

I woke up again around eleven forty five and decided that it was time for our lunchtime wander along the beach.

I jumped up onto OTL's lap and gave his nose a good licking and then looked deep into his eyes.

He got the message!

The tide was on it's way in but it wouldn't be high tide until eleven minutes past three so Holly and I decided a stroll along the beach would be best.

Holly and I started by strolling along the Sea Wall enjoying the sniffs and OTL was down on the beach with the camera.

We didn't really take too much notice of where he was so it was a bit of a surprise when he poked his head up, camera in hand, and said 'BOO!'

Holly came along afterwards and I stood there to see if she got caught.

Yep!

BOO!

That OTL is getting too clever by half!

We heard a strange noise that seemed to be moving down the mud flats just off shore, then, around the corner came.....................four Hovercraft!

Now, it's not often we see Hovercraft on the mud and to see four all together was a sight to see!

A Sunday Morning Drive on The Mud!

We were wondering what the Wormy men would say but today they had all gone home before the Hovercraft arrived.

Back home there was all doom and gloom. The Missus started of with the famous quotation.

'We have a Serious Problem' !

Now, that could mean, there is water flooding the house or the cooker has caught alight again, or someone has driven a car through the back wall or the laptop computer is pouring smoke out the DVD slot or maybe her left leg has dropped off and upset the Glitter Pot!

You know, the sort of problem you get nightmares about!

Now TM sometimes does suffer from an 'Over Dramatic' view of the problem.

What ever it is that is the problem, it normally means OTL has got money to pay out!

This 'Problem' is no different!

The fridge in the kitchen somehow has stopped being a fridge and turned into a Freezer!

Our carrots were like steel rods, the ferrets milk had icebergs floating on top and the chicken TM cooked yesterday was like a rock!

Our Lambs Heart dinner was like a kerb stone as well!

OTL, being a 'Careful' sort of Two Legs, decided to turn the thermostat down to 'One' and see what happens. We reckon that he will be ordering a new fridge tomorrow.

OTL says that in years gone past he might have just replaced the thermostat but nowadays it is all sealed up and getting to the part would be real pain and getting an engineer in might end up costing nearly as much as a new fridge!

So, it looks like we got a new fridge arriving in a week or so!

A Day with OTL

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

Down here in North Kent it was raining when we went for our morning walk, not heavy rain but that sort of rain that's cold and gets through your fur and makes you go Brrrrr!

Miss Snowflake made us laugh, she insisted that having a 'Wee Alfresco' was the best way to start the day.

I Love an Alfresco Wee!

Holly said that all our weeing was done 'Alfresco' 'cos Old Two Legs won't let us use the loo in the house!

Holly has been doing some serious investigations and reckons that there are more rabbits this year. At every opportunity, she is over in the Rabbit Hunting Ground looking for rabbits to chase.

All she has found so far is one rather saucy cat who spat at her!

They are here, I know they are!

The Missus spent the day up at the village hall at the monthly crop, all 'Gas and Glitter'!

OTL said that today we should be getting a Spring Tide, that is one when it comes up the beach a bit further than normal.

We got him to take us out a bit earlier than normal for our lunchtime walk and had some fun trying to mug the fishermen who were setting up their rods on The Sea Wall.

Oi! Gissa a Sarnie or I'll bite yer ankle!

It didn't work, they have been mugged by Holly before and now know not to bring any sarnies with them when the fish off our shores!

Wimps!

We were down on the beach a bit too early for the High Tide but we did see the waves start to lap on the shore.

Here come the waves!

OTL said that the High Time wouldn't be for another couple of hours but he would take us all the way down to the end of the Sea Wall and back again!

It made a change to see the Medway Fort from another angle!

That's a new side!

I found an old lump of wood that looks like it could have been part of an old dock and as I was standing on it pretending to sail it down the river, OTL says he wants to sit on it!

I had to tell him!

Woof Off! This is My Boat!

Sorted him out I did!

Down near the Power Station there is an outlet for all the warm water from the power station and the ducks and geese love to paddle in the pool 'cos the water is warmer than the river water!

A Ducky Lido!

When the tide comes right in, the water from the Power Station laps over the wall making the Lido a super warm bath for them!

Stand Bye Lads, Warm water is arriving!

Back home we had our brush and a few Choc Drops, a nibble of Doggy Scoff and a slurp of Ferret Milk!

Followed by a snooze!

It wasn't too long before OTL had to go and pick up TM from the Village Hall, so we sat looking out of the window until she got back!

We hear that Lucy Babe is getting to the end of her visits to the vets and everything is looking good!

Rock on Girl! Claws are all crossed this end of the world!

By the way, we also hear that it is Auntie Sue's birthday today, so all together now.........


    HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNTIE SUE!!!!!!!

We are off to see what OTL's got for dinner, maybe we'll be lucky!

Tomorrow we are going for 'Take Two' of TM's attempt to demonstrate the 'Bleeding Tissue' technique, it seems that Holly's cheering while they were filming wasn't appreciated by TM!

That's the trouble with these 'Stars', nothing but a bunch of Primadonna's

He Sneaked Off Again!

Hi Woofers!

Us here again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Didn't it rain last night! We were woken up and had to seek comfort by cuddling up to Old Two Legs who was snoring away, as normal and he didn't even hear the rain!

Mind you, Holly gave him a shove and stopped his snoring and just to make sure, I gave him a lick behind the ear, just to make sure he was awake!

We were a little early on The Beach and even so, Mr Brambles asked to be put down before he got to the beach, it seems his Lactose Free Milk got through his system a bit quicker than normal and he wanted a wee!

Can I get out for a minute?

Miss Snowflake stayed in the bag saying that he shouldn't be so greedy when drinking the milk, 'cos he not only drinks his bowl full but helps Snowflake finish off hers as well!

OTL calls him 'A Right Guzzle Guts!'

That's Better, can I get back in the bag now?

Down on The Beach it was a little windy and Snowflake told Brambles to stop still while she sheltered from the wind by hiding behind his butt!

That's it, stay there!

Of course he didn't stay there and after a run over the rocks the pair of them wanted to get back in the bag!

Can we come back please?

OTL said 'No' and the idea was for them to get some exercise by running along the beach and back to the car!

Mr Brambles showed off a little then tried to creep up on Mrs Corvid who was investigating some stuff further up the beach!

Of course, he didn't, she was too clever for him and flew of saying that he had to get up a lot earlier if he planned to catch her!

We met up with Max, Oscar and Bryn who were sniffing around on The Sea Wall. They are still fascinated by the ferrets sniff and Max got a bit too close and nearly got a 'Ferret Kiss' on his nose!

Hello Lads!

Back home we were given a Rawhide Chew after the Tesco Man had dropped off our stuff. Both Holly and I were too busy chewing away to notice OTL creep out the front door with his tool box!

He was off to Auntie Zoe to install her new washing machine and had decided to leave us at home!

Not Fair if you ask me!

The Missus took us out at lunch time but it wasn't the same, she didn't join in our game of 'Hunt The Rabbit' and she didn't have a game on the beach digging holes in the sand either!

So, a bit later OTL arrived back and Holly and I both gave him a 'Welcome Back' lick on the nose!

Well, we have got to be good to him 'cos we plan some serious mugging tonight!

TM is off to her 'Crop' tomorrow, and with a bit of luck, we may get an 'Adventure' with OTL in The Forest' again!

Squirrel Hunting Fun in The Mud!

Hi Woofers!

Us again!, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

I don't know about where you are but here the weather just can't make up it's mind! Like, this morning it was sunny but cold and at lunchtime it got all overcast and then just as we got back in the car it started to rain!

Before we go out in the mornings, the ferrets and Old Two Legs spend some 'Quality Time' together, in the office having breakfast, together.

Well, OTL has his Rabbit Food, a glass of Orange Juice and a cup of tea.

The ferrets have a bowl each with some Lactose Free Milk in it and a desert spoon full of hot water, just to take the chill off!

Both ferrets just love the stuff and it's 'Nose down and Tail Up' until they have finished both bowls, then it's over to OTL to try to mug him for the last couple of drops of milk from his bowl.

They only get a couple of licks each 'cos Full Fat Milk is not good for their system!

After they have finished, there is a game of 'Explore' all around the office and sorting out any new stuff on the desk top, which normally ends up on the floor!

Today there was something newish on the floor!

It's OTL's Spare Feet!

Both ferrets were in there like a greasy rat up a drain pipe! Mr Brambles was even standing on his head at one time!

Then he announced that 'Someone has Poo'd in here'!

Of course, Miss Snowflake came over to have a sniff!

Nah! Sniffs like Wee to me!

Mr Brambles wanted to know just how do you wee in there?

This is how it's done!

Trust Miss Snowflake to know all the answers, just like Holly Dog!

Down on the beach, the tide was out and the sun was shining and there was a cold wind blowing as well. Miss Snowflake said she didn't mind the wind, especially as she was dry after her wee!

Look! No Water Today!

Now, us woofers don't hang about on the beach too long, there aren't too many sniffs to be investigated but the ferrets seem quite happy to sniff every crack in The Sea Wall, just in case there was a Stoat Sniff to be had!

What are those Ferrets Doing?

Finally we were all back home and of course, Brambles pigged out on our biscuits, as normal!

I'm wondering what will happen when the bag is empty, will The Missus buy him a bag all of his own?

Lunchtime we were down the carriers again and OTL asked if we fancy going to The Forrest?

Does a Doggy Love Sniffin?

OTL put his wellies on 'cos he said it might be a bit quaggy but Holly and I said it hadn't rained for ages!

We came across a load of Snowdrops growing in between the trees and of course, OTL just had to take a picture!

On we went and as the path turned the corner what did we see?

QUAGGY!

Do they do Doggy Wellies?

Holly and I had to dance around the edges but OTL just went squelching through the middle!

There were some Puff Ball Fungi that looked well past their 'Sell By' date and OTL cracked a funny, he said that they were 'All Puffed Out'!

Oh yes, Ha, Ha, Ha, very droll!

Holly and I were ducking and diving all over the place looking for squirrels but all we found were droppings, and we couldn't chase them!

No Squirrel here!

Then, high in a tree, OTL spotted a squirrel!

He gave us our secret 'Heads Up' call and there, sitting up on a branch, eating a Hazel Nut, was the fattest squirrel we have seen this year!

Of course, it saw us and started to give us some 'Verbal'

Yeah? Just come down here and say that!

Pretty soon it had finished the Hazel Nut and dropped the shell down on us and laughing, ran off across the branches!

I'm not that Daft!

Just as we were considering giving chase, OTL spotted a Nuthatch on another branch, obviously looking for the squirrels store of nuts!

We left him to it and headed off back to the car park. It was a bit slow going 'cos around the back of the forest there was more quag than normal!

We really do need Wellies!

Back home for a snooze and then off to mug OTL for some of his dinner!

OTL and The Wrong Camera!

Hi Woofers!

The Gang is Back, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

We have been busy today, this morning we were chasing around woofing at Old Two Legs to hurry up, even the ferrets were giving him stick!

He got chased all down the stairs and out to the car!

When we got to the car park we spotted a couple of rabbits on the green and as soon as OTL had opened the door we were off like a couple of Puppy Powered Rockets!

OTL was clicking away but when he stopped to check, he found out he had grabbed the Infrared Camera!

Not what he wanted to bring this morning!

Miss Snowflake almost got her self in trouble.

There she was, on her rock, doing what a ferrets does in the morning, she finished and then moved towards the beach when, splash!

Her back end landed in the rock pool and she just stood there.

Next she called out 'OTL, HELP!'

Pretty soon she was lifted up and she wiped her back end on OTL's coat sleeve to dry off!

Stuck between a Rock and a Wet Place!

 Not to worry, she was back and running around and even spotted a sniff on The Sea Wall. We all had a go at identifying what it was!

Well, I reckon it is a Stoat!

Back home to find that The Missus had gone out shopping. Holly and I sat up at the bedroom window watching out for her but as lunchtime got closer she still hadn't come back.

OTL had to do some deliveries so it was into the Big Car and off we went!

After dropping off the last delivery, we stopped at a church called St Mary Magdalene which was in a place called Stockbury.

Very pretty it looked as well!

We stopped down the road at a park we had visited before. Last time it was full of rabbits but this time there was nothing, not a rabbit or a woofer anywhere!

OTL looked at the sky and started to cry, he still hadn't changed his camera over, so it is still Infrared!

He was saying that with the other camera and the filter he could have had a 'Dramatic Sky'

Just what would it be like with a Red Filter?

 On the way back home we stopped at our favourite place, The Doggy Shop!

We helped OTL fill up the shopping basket with goodies for us, Chicken Fillets and Chews and Nibbles and Teeth Cleaning Chews!

Then, on instructions from TM, we stopped at the farm shop and got a big bag of bird seed ans big bag of peanuts.

That should keep them all happy for a while!

OTL was back to work while Holly and I settled down for a snooze, until dinner time!

A Super Sunny Day and OTL is Not Happy!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

Down on the beach this morning we discovered signs of alien visitations!

It was a sort of 'Crop Circle' but in the sand and with the help of some sticks and sea weed it looked just like a visitor from Outer Space!

Holly said it looked more like The Missus without her makeup on!

TM or ET?

 It was so sunny that I got all big and brave and went in for a sort of Deep Paddle, the first time this year!

Old Two Legs wouldn't let me go right in 'cos he says it was too cold and if I got into trouble he wasn't coming in after me!

Holly stayed well away from the water and met up with a Doodle Dog who was so happy to see another woofer that she danced around Holly and even gave Holly a kiss on the nose!

Do you get out much?

Lunch time we were down on The Sea Wall again and there were two Holly's on the wall.

It's Me Again!

Now, you know OTL has been playing about with this B&W camera and the filters and how he was looking for dramatic clouds and how he was going to try the ND Graduated Filter?

Well, with all this weather we have had of late all he has got is mist, which wasn't what he had in mind, mist does not rate as very dramatic!

Today there was no mist and just One Cloud!

Not exactly a Dramatic Scene either'!

You know, I felt so sad for him that I even stood still long enough for him to take a picture of me!

Go on then, just the one!

 On the way back home we stopped at our local village church called All Saints. This church has been here since the Twelfth Century, not all that we see today but there are bits there that date from 1100 AD!

With that in mind, OTL has done some fiddling with the computer to make the photo look old, a bit like him really!

Seriously Old and so is the church!

TM has been out all day today at some Glue & Glitter Gathering, so she will be home later, dripping glitter all over the place!

Monday Mists Again!

Hi Woofers!

Back again! Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Poor Old Two Legs, he has been looking forward to going out with the camera again today but there was loads of mist all over the place, so, bang goes the 'Dramatic Landscapes!'

Instead we have Mr Brambles................

Miss Snowflake nearly got washed off her 'Wee'ing Rock', if another wave washed over the rock she would have been washed out to sea!

Errr! This Rock is wobbling!

We didn't hang about on the beach for too long 'cos OTL was telling us off for rolling in a super fishy sniff!

Mind you, Holly and I were sniffing around when Mr Brambles ran up and asked us if we had come across any good sniffs!

Hey Girls! Got any good sniffs?

Along the top path we came across some woofers we had met before and we had a chat about the local sniffs and some of the problems of living with Ferrets!

He thought is was one big laugh, the things we have to put up with!

Oh No! Eating your Biscuits? It's Just Too Much!

Back home we had chicken but couldn't eat it until the ferrets were put to bed! Mr Brambles was in our biscuit bowl chomping away and wouldn't leave it until OTL took some biscuits out and put them in his food bowl!

Lunchtime it was still misty, no definition in the clouds, so it was back to trying to catch us looking at him!

No chance! Every time he put the camera up to his eye we turned around and waved out tails at him!

I found some egg sacks on the beach, so, Holly and I had a game of 'Chase' and I kept throwing them up in the air!

Gerroff!

 OTL was taking pictures of  steps No. 9 & No. 10, why they have to number them I'll never know!

OTL sat us down on the bench and tried for another photograph of us and this time he got all crafty and asked me if I wanted a Ferret for Christmas!

I thought he was daft and turned my head to say so when 'Click'!

Well, I'm not smiling, so there!

Holly didn't fall for that trick and kept looking at the horizon until OTL gave up and said 'Back to The Car!'

No, I'm not looking, I'm not, I'm not, I'm Not!

By the way, the printer cleaning didn't work out, so he has sent an email to the people who deal with printing machines and stuff asking for help!
