It's Still there and it's got a Mate!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

You now how it is when a visitor outstays their welcome? Well we got trouble like that!

You know that Rope Thingy we rolled down the beach a bit yesterday? Well, it's come back! Right up to the top of the beach, again!

Holly spotted it first of all, sitting up there, watching the boats go by and without a worry in the world!

Look! It's Back!

 Well, that was a bit much for me and I went up to it and told it, in no uncertain terms, that it wasn't wanted on our beach, we don't like stuff to just turn up and think they can clutter our beach!

Oi! This is the last time you get a warning, in future we'll send in Both Ferrets!

We called Old Two Legs and between us all we rolled the Rope Thingy right the way down the beach and onto the rocks where it could float away down to the old army grounds where it can set up home and not mess our beach!

Getting ready to go on the next tide.

Holly woofed for us to get up the other end of the beach, quickly!

There, resting up the top of the beach was an old fuel tank that looks like it has escaped from a ship wreck further up river!

It was too much for Holly, she certainly didn't want and wrecks on our beach, even bits of ship wrecks!

You ain't staying on our beach!

 So, with the help of all of us, we showed him where to park up and wait for the tide!

Stay there until the tide comes in then turn left and leave our beach alone!

Back home we had some chicken waiting and while we enjoyed a good feed Old Two Legs headed off to one of his suppliers and spent most of the day gassing!

Still, we have got some fun tonight, the Last Hobbit DVD has arrived! So we are all going to be sitting down and watching that tonight!

Another Sunny Day plus a Shield Bug!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles again!

 

This morning the ferrets were in a hurry to get to the beach, we could tell that 'cos they had their heads out of the bag and asking the same old question!

 

Can we get out for a wee?

Just look at the sun shine today! We have been down the on The Sea Wall today and it has been just great!

 

Summers on it's way!

We started off on the beach, both ferrets were having their normal run around on the sea weed!

 

 

Here! Did you do this?

 That lump of rope thingy is still on the beach, it refused to go away on the high tide and Miss Snowflake got all upset!

 

She spotted the Rope Thingy and decided to help it get back into the sea!

 

We told you to Shove Off!

 Now Snowflake can be a right little madam when she gets upset and I'm just glad I'm not a Rope Thingy!

 

When you get told

 

 Pretty soon she had rolled it all the way down to the rocks and told it to 'Stay There', until the tide comes back in!

 

Just stay there until the tide come in!

Then she dived off into the Sea Weed to make sure it didn't move back up the beach!

 

I've got my eyes on you!

 We headed back to the car and Mr Brambles just couldn't stop him self from commenting that Snowflake can be a 'Right Bossy Boots' when she was in the mood!

 

That was it! She chased him up the beach and set about tickling him on his Tickle Spot!

Oh! No! No! Not My Tickle Spot!

 We came back down at lunchtime but didn't go all the way down to the beach 'cos Holly and I had fun chasing rabbits all over the place!

I Sniff Rabbits, Loads of them!

Old Two Legs was also clicking away with the camera on a Shield Bug he had spotted, he reckons it is the first one he has seen this year!

We think it's a Shield Bug but not too sure!

Back home again to a good snooze before dinner, OTL's diner that is!

Monday and it's getting warmer!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles again!

 

Did you notice it was warmer this morning? We did, that was all the time we were sheltered from the wind!

 

Our garden was well sheltered so there was only a slight breeze at tree top height, however, when we got down to the Beach, there was a stiff breeze blowing in off the sea!

Old Two Legs put his hat on and zipped up his jacket to keep the wind out while us woofers kept below the weed level and that kept us out of the wind!

Until we got to the beach that is!

 

Miss Snowflake got into a bit of a pickle and ended up sitting on something that made her butt all wet!

 

Here! I've just sat in something wet and squishy!

She found out that there was no protection from the wind there and if you are facing the wrong way, your fur gets all blown about and there's a nasty draft under your tail!

 

It wasn't long before she and Mr Brambles were heading towards the long grass! 

I spotted a rope and wood thing that OTL says it's to stop the ships from banging into the docks, yeah well, whatever!

Anyway, there it was, on our beach, in the middle of the beach and not moving at all!

Strange thing on the shore!

OTL says that it should float on the water. Holly reckons she could make a boat out of it.

I said it should be set loose and free to wander the oceans and frolic with the whales!

Go On! Shove Off!

I tried giving it a shove so that it would float away but it stayed stuck on the sand, just wobbling from side to side!

Even when a big wave came and sloshed all over it, it still refused to move!

It's still not moving!

I can see it will be up to OTL to roll it out a bit further tomorrow when the tides out!

We met up with Bryn and the Lads and I managed to snaffle another biscuit, and I also got Holly's one as well!

Yeah, Holly said I could fetch her one as well!

Bryn came down on the beach to have a look at the string/rope thingy and said that we would be lucky if we could get it to float! We will see tomorrow!

That will never float!

Lunchtime we were down the Sea Wall again and Holly played on the sand, digging holes and then told us she hadn't touched it at all, even though she had a face full of sand!

Me? A Hole? No! Not Me Honest!

As we got near to the car, we all stopped at the bench where Holly jumped up and spotted someone on the next bench, eating a sandwich!

'Now then!' says Holly, 'What will you bet me to get that sarnie off that Bozo Two Legs?'

Hey, Look! Sport!

I should have taken her up but I've seen her do some mugging before and she is very good at it!

When she got up to the Two Legs, there was no sarnie left!

I've told you before, No Sarnie, No Strokes!

Back home OTL was busy pounding away on the computer. He has had a run of orders that is keeping him just too busy! I mean, a walk is more important that a soppy old order!

A Snoozy Day and a bit of F1 Racing!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

Well, after yesterdays fun and games, we overslept this morning, but as Old Two Lags said ' We are allowed to be lazy One day a week'!

Down on the beach we found the wind had dropped but it was a lot colder than yesterday, but not too cold!

We met up with Bryn and Bailey and I managed to snaffle a biscuit!

Can I have Holly's one as well?

 The sun was throwing Sun Beams down onto the sea and OTL says it looked 'Ethereal'!

Oh Gawd! Not more blooming ethereals, we thought he had grown out of them!

Ethereal or not?

 Down on the beach Mr Brambles found another rock he liked and insisted on showing it to everyone, starting with Snowflake!

Yes Dear, I'm sure you'll be happy with it!

We had a good time sniffing our way back to car and enjoyed some of the sniffs we showed Maisie yesterday. 

Back home we both crashed out and caught up on our snoozes!

Holly, Dreaming of Food!

........and of course there was me..................!

Me, dreaming of Sniffs!

Lunchtime it was down the beach again and this time, not only had the wind dropped right off but it was a bit warmer as well, but not warm enough to go in swimming!

 

Go on, Just a Paddle?

I was a bit disappointed, not being allowed to have a splash but wot was worse, Holly met a woofer who had been in for a swim!

and then I rolled onto my back and wagged my tail and I was off like a speed boat!

We met up with an Old English Sheep Dog who, like us, had been to the Poodle Parlour on the same day as us!

Hey! It's him, but bald!

 I was up on the bench and stayed out of it, especially as he had one black eye and one light blue eye!

I'm OK up here thanks!

Back home we got in just in time to get a nibble and settle down on the sofa to watch the F1 Racing!

A Fun Day with Maisie.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

What a windy day it has been!

We were out first thing this morning with the ferrets and Old Two Legs had to put up his hood over his 'Old Mans Hat'!

Windy off the North Sea!

Both ferrets were in good form and chased each other, Holly and me, all over the place!

Snowflake does a Boo!

 Snowflake can be right sneaky sometimes!

Just what are you doing down there?

They had a good time in the Sea Weed and even had a race on the sand!

How come she always finds me?

We met Max, Oscar and Bryn and I even got a nibble of their biscuits!

This wind really messes with your hair!

We had to get back 'cos OTL had to get the ferrets sorted out before going up to pick up Maisie from the hall.

After we left the hall, we went down to the Beach and Sea Wall again! Two walks in one morning!

Maisie was in seventh heaven, there were so many sniffs to be had and of course as she was our guest it was our duty to let her have first sniff of them all!

............and this one we keep for special days!

Maisie was well impressed and she spent a good hour going up and down the grass path!

Hey Girls, this is just great!

Once we had finished we suggested we go home and have a nibble of our biscuits and then enjoy a snooze but only after we give Maisie a tour of our garden and show her where the frogs are hiding!

OK girls, that sounds like a good plan!

So, that's what we did and you know what? That Maisie can sure put away those biscuits!

We had a snooze on the seat with OTL, Maisie was cuddled up to his leg while Holly sat on the top and cuddled up to his head while I lay on the arm rest and had him give me a cuddle!

We showed Maisie the garden and the pond but we didn't see any frogs but at least both fountains were working!

A bit later, after OTL had his lunch, we set off for the beach again!

Three time in one day! This is getting good!

We had a great game on the beach, first we kidded Maisie that she should have a paddle in the mud 'cos that will keep her paws cool.

Trouble is, OTL wouldn't let her off the lead, so he steered her away from the mud!

You mean you always go in for a paddle?

Next we had a game of 'Run Around in Circles' which was OK 'cos she could do that with the lead on and it also made OTL dizzy when we ran around him!

I'm not as fast as you two!

Holly and I made up for her being on the lead and chased around OTL as well!

Come on, let's make him really dizzy!

Then we decided to have a game of 'Blink'. This game is played by standing in front of each other, without moving, and the first one to blink or move looses the game.

Simple eh?

Well, you try it!

Now Holly said she would try first and she took up her stance in front of Maisie and started with the 'Hairy Eyeball'.

No one moved, then Maisie stuck her tail up and Holly blinked 'cos she had never seen a Tail Lift done so well!

One Down, One To Go!

I decided that I couldn't compete with Maisie, she was so sneaky with that Tail Lift that I knew I was beaten before I started!

Maisie said that she had learnt to be crafty years ago when she found out she couldn't run as fast as she used to run!

Gotcha!

 Before long it was time to head back to the hall and head for home. Maisie said that she has had a super day and can't wait until she can come over to see us again!

Thanks for a super day girls!

 Then, when we got into the car, she gave OTL a lick on the nose as a thank you!

A super day!

Now we are off to see if OTL has anything worth mugging!

Wash and a Splosh and a Tickle under The Tail!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

It's been good day today! Finally Holly and I got rid of the Winter Coat we both had and now we look 'The Business'!

Mind you, it was a bit of a rush and tear to get to the Poodle Parlour by nine this morning but we made it in the end, even though we had to bring the ferrets with us!

Down on the morning run we had the chance of chasing one of the Corvid family but to be honest, we just couldn't be bothered!

Nah! You chase him if you want, I'll carry on sniffin'!

Mr Brambles was getting a bit confused 'cos once again, he lost his rock! It took Snowflake to reassure him that his rock was still on the beach where he left it yesterday!

Yes Dear, it really is Your Rock!

A Springer came joging along the Sea Wall and he even had his bottle of water with him!

All Serious Joggers Carry their Hydration Container!

 Holly looked at him and said 'I prefer a Puddle myself!'

Puddles are my Thing!

 We spent a long time at the Parlour 'cos there were too many in but when Old Two Legs arrived to Bail Us Out, we gave him a big welcome and headed for the car!

We were straight out for a run and met up with a couple of the lads who thought the sniff we had was like a 'Tarts Handbag'!

Holly didn't like that and gave one of her 'Warning Growls' and they backed off!

She sniffs like a Tart!

 Mind you, they didn't let it go and they carried on taking the mickey out of our hair cut!

Oh No! He paid Money for that?

 We didn't care 'cos we were both off our lead but they were stuck on theirs, so we blew them a big raspberry and headed for home!

Miss Holly Looking Good!

 We are looking forward to tomorrow, The Missus is off doing a Master Class and Young Maisie is going to spend the day with us!
