A Three Walk Friday!

Hi Woofers!

It's us! Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

It has been a super day today, for a start it has been sunny all day making it good to be out in the fresh air. Both ferrets had some fun on the beach while Holly and I investigated all the new sniffs.

Oops! That's Wet!

 Holly and I sat down and decided it was almost like being on holiday!

All we need is some mountains!

 Then, while we were looking the other way, who should come charging along the beach?

Yo! Sis! Let's play Chase!

 Brambles had the pickle in him and not only chased Holly but he tried to chase me and Snowflake!

That was until he got out of breath and rolled onto his back and asked Holly to 'Spread some Factor 35 on his tail!

Holly told him to spread it himself!

Old Two Legs spotted a bee who was well loaded down with pollen!

This is Heavy Work!

Lunch time we were back down the beach but the water was hiding again and even Holly said that if it was in even she might have had a paddle to cool her paws!

I could do with a paddle!

OTL sat on the Sea Wall to wait for Holly to catch up and while he was sitting on the Sea Wall I crept around the side and sat down in his shadow!

Holly was not amused, she said it was her turn in the shadow!

If it wasn't so hot, I'd fight you for the shade!

While OTL was sitting there, one of those BeeFly things landed on the flower, we have looked in our book again but still can't identify it!

Bee or Fly?

It was after we got back that OTL got a phone call to drop the 'Books' into his accountant, so, that means we get another run in the sun!

Holly was not sure if she wanted to go but in the end decided that as we were going in the big car and it had Air Conditioning to blow cool air all over her nose, she would come with us!

Well, that was OK but she still had to get out for a walk along the Riverside Park but she decided that was worth the treat of cool air!

Still no water to paddle in, just mud!

There were loads of sniffs and Holly did enjoy them really, even if it means walking on the hot path! The grass was almost as hot as the path but there were more sniffs on the grass!

 We got back home just before The Missus returned from her day out at a card making thingy. So, we are planning a restful evening watching a DVD, if we can stay awake!

Computers are So Boring!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

This new computer of The Missus is taking too long to set up! She has got Old Two Legs working away transferring files and installing programs and getting the security protection in to stop any nasty things from getting in!

All this means that OTL has been sitting in front of the laptop and not playing with us woofers!

Even the ferrets got put back into their home earlier than normal!

They were not Happy Woofers!

We had been out for our morning walk and you know what? We didn't see any rabbits!

We met up with The Lads, Max, Oscar, Bryn and young Holly. They had just started their walk so had no new sniffs to talk about!

The water was still right out of sight, so we had a run up and down the beach while the ferrets had a hunt in and around the rocks. Looking at the sunrise, it was a sign that we will be getting 'Moody Mornings' soon and that will keep OTL happy!

Back home we had Chicken for breakfast and while OTL was pounding away on the computer, Holly and I enjoyed a well earned snooze!

Lunchtime, back down on the sea front, we went in search of rabbits again but this time we sneaked around the back of the bushes and crept in, just like we do at home when inspecting the house!

What did we find?

Nothing!

I went back to hunting crabs along the beach while Holly and OTL enjoyed a sit down on the Sea Wall.

You'd think she would have grown up by now!

I didn't care and I had great fun running up and down the Sea Wall! I was getting rather warm and with no water to cool me down I collapsed into the only wet stuff around.........Sea Weed!

This is SOOOOOO COOOOOL!

Another place we love is under the bench, while OTL crawls up the hill we get under the bench and enjoy a rest in the shade while getting the benefit of a cooling breeze!

This is the life!

Back home OTL went back to the computer, he is so Boring!

It wasn't until late in the afternoon that he finished messing about and other that the little bits that may come up when he swaps over to 10 Windows, it should all be working as it should be!

We got him to take a couple of shots of Snowy Heights. the first picture is of the new Play Room!

It's got balls and squeaky toys and tubes to run through and blankets to hide under and beds to sleep in and things hanging from the ceiling for them to chase!

Great fun but we will have to get rid of that African Mask off the wall!

Next floor down is the Bedroom where they also have their food bowl. Brambles is a messy eater and ends up crunching up the biscuits and spilling them all over the bed and floor!

He can be so mucky sometimes!

Mind you, they do love that old cushion of ours, they stretch out and spend hours snoozing away!

The Postman brought two new harnesses for May and April for when they arrive here and soon they will be out with us in the morning.

Can you imagine it, two Dogs and Four Ferrets!

I think OTL will have his hands full!

More fun!

Hi Woofers!

It's us back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Now, what news? Well, Old Two Legs made a call to the Harrietsham Ferret Centre and was told that the Girls were all fine and getting over their operations and that if we phoned next Saturday we could make an appointment to visit with Brambles and Snowflake for introductions to start!

I remember when Holly and I were put in the garden together and we had a lot of woofing and chasing and snarling and angry growling, then we settled down!

So, OTL is hoping for a meeting where Brambles goes in first to 'Check Out' May and April and then Snowflake goes in soon after to act as a 'Mother Figure' and show them where they are in the 'Pecking Order'!

If it all goes to plan then four ferrets will be coming home with us!

Now, you know we said we would have a picture of the new floor yesterday? Well. sorry, we forgot, so a little late, here it is!

Snowy Heights!

We reckon that if it got any taller then we would have snow settling on the top!

Over the next few days we will be putting more pictures up to show the play area and the other floors as well, just so you will know what we are talking about when we say..................The Rope Toys!

Back to today, we were down the beach, as normal, but you know, we didn't see anyone at all, nothing, just us! It was even too windy to see any insects either!

The tide was out so far that we think it has left for France!

The ferrets had a little play on the rocks but soon headed off for the Grassy Path.

Looks too wet for me!

Before long we were back home and looking at a bowl of Doggy Scoff!

We managed to mug OTL for some of his lunch but it really wasn't enough to fill our tummies!

Off down to the beach and you know what? The sea was still miles away!

Holly and I had a game of 'Chase The Ball' 'cos OTL remembered to bring the orange ball we played with yesterday. Holly and I had a good game of 'Dig a hole and bury the Ball' which made OTL laugh!

Where is the Woofing Ball?

OTL had to take our car in for some repairs on the exhaust system, it sounded as loud as a F1 car, but not as powerful!

The garage did a good job and it was back later this afternoon all sounding nice and quiet again!

OTL is playing with TM's new laptop and is adding bits and taking bits away and shouting at it when it doesn't do what he wanted it to do!

Such fun!

ow we are off to see what we can mug before we are forced to eat the Doggy Scoff, out of desperation!

It's all go Today!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

The ferrets are having fun in their new vertical extension to their home. Last night Old Two Legs was woken up by Holly wanting to get out into the garden to chase something at twenty past two!

OTL was not happy about that but soon perked up when he heard both ferrets kicking the Ping Pong balls about in their new 'Games Room'!

This morning he went in and they were both asleep in the bed he had put in there, just in case they couldn't make it back to their normal beds!

Another thing, he has made sure there is one more bed that there will be ferrets, so, four ferrets and five beds! That way a ferret will never be without a bed if he or she gets kicked out during an argument over sleeping space or when they are trying to get the 'Pecking Order' sorted out!

Holly and I have got the sleeping all sorted, we both take over OTL's spot on the bed, but only after he has got up!

We were up early this morning and met up with that Bedlington Terrier who Holly really fancies and of course, she just had to play the Tart again!

Look! No Lead!

The tide was out, so no swimming this morning and the sun was very bright bouncing off the sea!

 

This sniff has been cooking in the sun!

We had some fun with a new woofer who walked past us on the Sea Wall. First off he started woofing at us and the ferrets. Then, when Holly and I woofed back, telling him what we and the ferrets would do to him if he came onto our beach, he ran away!

That's it, Woof Off!

Snowflake was a bit put out by all the woofing and stayed behind a rock until the woofer was over the horizon!

Has he gone yet?

We wandered back towards the car park and as normal on a sunny day, Holly ran ahead so she can have a rest under the bench in the shade!

It's cooler here!

Lunchtime we were down the beach and the tide was right in! There were loads of Two Legs on the beach with their Mini Two Legs and they were splashing around in my sea!

Oi! Clear off my beach!

OTL had brought the old ball from the car and we had a good game of 'Fetch'. The ball had been chewed a bit but it was just the right size for me to get into my mouth when I swim out to get it. Normally the tennis balls are just too big for my mouth!

Surfer Beach Babe!

 Holly, being the 'Dry One' decided that she would have a relaxing snooze in the shade while OTL and I had fun with the ball and the water!

 

I suppose that one day they'll grow out of it!

After my swim I found a dry bit of grass and had a really good roll! Well that got rid of a lot of water from off my back!

I love a good rub down after a swim!

After that we went along to the beach but before getting there I suddenly got a terrible itch, right between my shoulder blades and, well, the only thing to do was find something to have a scratch on!

Oh Yes! Just there, Just there!

Down on the second beach OTL and I carried on with our game while Holly just rolled her eyes to heaven and wondered how anyone could enjoy getting soaking wet!

 

I just don't believe these two!

Back home and The Missus had got her computer but she was just too busy to open it all up!

Still, once she finishes all the stuff she is preparing for the weekend 'Master Class' I suppose she will get hold of OTL and start fiddling with it!

Dinner is ready now but as it is curry tonight, I don't think I'll be after mugging him tonight, I mean, curry just doesn't do anything for me!

TM's got a New Laptop and the Ferrets get a Third Floor!

Hi Woofers!

It's us back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

It has all been happening here today!

First we went down to the beach where Snowflake told us all to 'Clear Off' while she 'Inspected' the rocks!

As if we couldn't see her!

If you Gotta Go, then you Gotta Go!

 Brambles found his own rock and did his business. Of course, like any good Sis, I had to make sure he was 'Tidy'!

Not that he appreciated it!

Get Yer Nose Outta My Butt!

 Mind you, it didn't stop him from enjoying a Sea Weed Wrap up the top of the beach!

A Sea Weed Wrap is Soooooo Relaxing!

 We said hello to the birds who were digging in the mud and when we got to the Curlew all he said was 'Just for a change, I fancy Cottage Pie and Chips'!

I fancy Cottage Pie and Chips instead of these worms!

Mid morning we had a delivery of the Third Floor of Snowy Heights!

Both ferrets were fast asleep after their morning jog along the sea front and a 'Rampage' around the house.

Old Two Legs decided to take the roof off the cage and build up the third floor, but do it without waking the ferrets up. So, with Miss Snowflake tucked up in the hammock, she didn't even know the light was on and Mr Brambles was in his normal sleeping place, on top of a cushion, stretched out and snoring gently!

Gone Man, Solid Gone!

 You know, OTL dismantled the old one and built up the new one while the ferrets were asleep and they didn't even know it was done!

When Snowflake finally woke up, just for a wee, she was most surprised! She investigated the top floor with it's two beds, water dispenser and squeaky balls and a load of Ping Pong Balls!

There's two corner shelves and OTL has ordered up another 'Pocket Hammock' and a Corner Bed for when the new ferrets arrive!

Post or Wot!

We'll get some picture tomorrow.

Lunchtime arrived and after our Chicken and Biscuits we headed off to the beach again. The tide was in, so, I was in as well!

OTL said I looked like Jaws!

 Holly met up with a new lad being walked by his TL's and he wanted a sniff!

Well, you know what Holly is like,

No Food, No Sniffs!

You gotta learn how to treat a Girl!

 Once we got back, The Missus and OTL went off delivering and doing other stuff and finally ended up where they sell Laptop Computers.

TM's computer is not very well, a sort of  'Electronic Grumbly Tum', mind you, it doesn't help with her keep dropping it or spilling coffee all over the keyboard!

So, tomorrow there will be a new computer with 10 Windows in it and we are now betting on how long it will last this time!

Honest, we didn't do a thing!

Hi Woofers!

It's us, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

What a day today! It has been sunny and warm and I even got a swim as well.

However, as we were heading towards the Car Park, we have to pass the Grain Power Station which is in the process of being dis-mantled. Ahead of us, on the left hand side, in the lay-by, there were loads of Two Legs standing there with cameras and IPlods and Telephones, and they were all looking at the Power Station.

As we passed we looked over to the Power Station just in time to see the right hand side of the building come crashing to the ground!

It was there a moment ago!

 'OK', says Old Two Legs, 'Who did that?' ........ 'Come on, put your paw up, Who Did It?'

'Honest' we said, 'We didn't touch it!'

OTL stopped the car just by the Fire Station and took another picture of the Power Station!

Just look at that dust cloud!

Holly wanted to know when they are going to blow up the chimney!

Even The Lads heard the noise!

We all had a good game on the beach and both ferrets dug holes while 'Looking for Treasure'!

Back home to a Chicken Breakfast and afterwards a snooze!

Holly was sitting in the garden watching the fountains in the pond and keeping an eye open for Trev The Frog, but, so far, nothing!

Lunchtime we were down just as the tide reached it's maximum and the wind was a little breezy!

So, that means the fishermen were out catching nothing, as usual!

Nothing, as normal!

 I went in for a swim and a game of 'Fetch the Stick' but it was too blowy and the waves were too big for a little puppy like wot I am!

Swimming or Surfing?

OTL hid the stick so we could find it the next time we are down there. We then headed off back home.

There were very few insects 'cos the wind was blowing them all over the place!

OTL spotted a Large White male butterfly together with a female who were 'Making Caterpillars'!

As we got closer to the car park, Holly came across a family who had just finished lunch, and, they still had some food left!

They got Food! Can I mug them?

OTL said that she couldn't keep mugging the tourists 'cos she will get a bad name!

We finished the afternoon off by nibbling on a chew we had and then a snooze before OTL gets his dinner and we go into 'Mugging Mode'!

Saturday with OTL!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

It's good to see Archie Babe is back and working again on his computer, we didn't even get to load the Ten Windows, it got half way into loading up then it went back to Seven Windows and when OTL checked, it said it had 'Failed because of an Unknown Error'! I think OTL is going to stick with what is working for him now!

You know he has laptop computers running Windows 98 'cos the programs on there won't run under anything later! Something to do with 'Clocks in the Computer'.


Well, we have had a 'Relaxing Day' today, not too much excitement but fun all the same!


The ferrets were a bit sleepy this morning but at least they got their Lactose Free Milk today. Yesterday there was no milk and you should have seen them show off! Mr Brambles sat at Old Two Legs feet, looking up at him and asking why he was being starved!


Miss Snowflake went hunting milk and when she couldn't find any, she did what Brambles normally does, she kicked the Poo Pot all around the cage!


Today, there was milk for them, in two bowls, with an added dash of warm water to take the chill off!


Today we have 'Happy Ferrets'!


Down on the beach Brambles found an old drinks bottle that had been left on the beach. What got him all wound up was the fact that if you climbed up the steps from the beach to the Sea Wall, there is a Rubbish Bin sitting there waiting for your rubbish!


Brambles reckons there are some very anti social TL's  around!

The ferrets found a 'Ferret Sniff' and had fun rolling in it until OTL spotted them!

This is better that a Doggy Sniff!

Holly got a 'Grumbly Tum' this morning and OTL had to give her butt a good clean with some wipes he had in the car, in fact he ended up using nearly half of the pack just to get her clean enough to take home for a wash!


Grumbly Tum or no, it didn't stop her from enjoying the Lambs Heart we had for breakfast today!

We spent the morning relaxing on the patio enjoying the sun shine. OTL was in the office, 'Manufacturing' so he didn't have too much to do on Monday.

Why?

Well, he had a phone call to tell him that the third floor for Snowy Heights would be arriving on Monday, so he needs to 'Clear The Decks'!

Lunchtime we were back down to the beach again and the tide was right in and the wind had dropped and OTL had found a stick and Holly was on the hunt!

The first gang of TL's drew a blank.

No Food! So, get yer paw off me!

The second load was another story, they had got a thing for burning burgers and sausages, so Holly do stood there and did her 'Poor Lost & Starving Woofer' look.

Your not going to eat all of that are you?

It worked! She mugged two of them for the burger and then she got half a sausage from the cook!


She is getting very good at this 'Mugging of Tourists'!



I didn't bother with all that stuff, I was too busy playing 'Fetch the Stick' with OTL!

I Got It!

Then OTL found a much bigger stick, he reckons this might have come from a Mini TL's Beach Spade.


It was so easy to fetch back and it wasn't too heavy, which means I could carry it sticking out the front of my mouth.


OTL calls it my 'Churchill Stick'!

Got a Light Boy?

On the Sea Wall OTL spotted a butterfly that had landed on the concrete and was interested to find out what it was 'cos it didn't have any markings on the underneath of it's wings. He just got one shot off before it flew away and we still didn't see what colour it's upper wings were!

Just having a rest!

We saw a funny sight. there, right at the top of a tall plant was a snail! It was sitting there underneath the flowers and it must have been at least four feet off the ground!


Holly said it was a 'Flying Snail' but OTL said that snails don't fly.


Holly said that there was a first time for every thing!

Back home to a snooze before The Missus gets back from her 'Master Class' and tonight OTL thinks he may get a curry!

Now, some news about Miss May and April. OTL has been speaking to the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue Centre and both ferrets have had their operations and all is well! We reckon to give them another week to get over it all and then introductions begin.

OTL is to telephone next weekend and arrange a day to go down for the introductions and providing all goes well, there will be four ferrets in our house instead of two!

Can't wait!
