Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Well, we have finally landed in Scotland! The journey up her was just a bit boring but we all spent the time catching up on our sleep! Gretna Green was about the same as we remembered it except there is a new Kebab Shop in the high street!

The Missus instructed Old Two Legs to head off to the Chinese Takeaway for some Flied Plawns and Plawn Clackers!

We arrived outside the restaurant but it was close, on a Monday, Closed!!

That was it, OTL rattled on the door and banged his bald head on the window but they wouldn't open up!

So, off we went to the Kebab Shop and ordered up a Kofti Kebab and a Burger in a Bun. TM doesn't do foreign food so she had the Burger which is made out of Argentinian Beef, with a bun made from Indian flour and garnished with vegetables from Africa and mayonnaise from Germany!

So much for her not 'Doing' foreign food!

OTL doesn't care, his out look is, 'I'm hungry, does that food taste good, I'll eat it all but don't tell me what it's made of!'

You know, he makes a good woofer does OTL, Archie Babe would be proud of him!

Holly and I shared the Kebab, which tasted super, the Burger wasn't so good, but we forced it down!

OTL and Tm shared a bottle of Champagne and OTL even had a beer as well, so they slept like logs!

Which was just as well 'cos the alarm went off at five thirty so we could get everything packed away and leaving the Gretna Caravan Site at seven!

Holly and I went back to sleep as soon as we got going but the ferrets stayed awake a little longer just so they could see what the traffic was like on the motorway but after about ten minutes they got bored and went to sleep!

The weather was great on the journey, loads of sunshine, that was until we were about half an hour away from the caravan site, then it started to rain!

We finally arrived in a shower of water from the puddles on the road that led to the site. Not only were there big puddles but there were big piles of poo from a herd of 'Highland Coos' that were ambling up the road in front of us.

So, all over the front of the caravan is lumps of poo that OTL had to wash off when he set up the caravan.

Setting it up is always fun, first is the satellite dish is powered up to lock onto the satellite, not today, the dish kept on going around and around looking for a signal but the mountains were blocking the signal, so that means we will be watching DVDs this holiday!

We have decided that OTL can put up the awning tomorrow, providing the rain stops of course!

We have got onto the Internet via the Wi-Fi here but it is a bit slow, well, I mean, very slow, well, in fact it is so slow that OTL reckons it would be quicker to write it all down on paper and post it second class!

Never mind, we will do our best to post some snaps tomorrow!

By the way, a Big Hello to Linda from Montreal, Canada! We are glad you like the blog and our frogs. We love to chase the frogs but they are just too quick. Miss May also loves frogs but she says she can't eat a whole one in one sitting!

One Last Roll!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

It has been a very busy day for everyone here. Old Two Legs has been washing the caravan and to car so we can go on holiday and make it all mucky again!

Us woofers have been packing all our holiday stuff, like Chicken nibbles and teethe cleaning chews and Rawhide chews and balls and the squeaky raccoon we got from Auntie Sue and all the ferret food and stuff!

It has been all go!

This morning the tide was in so I made time for a last dip before heading off to the Lochs of Scotland!

One last splosh in the River Medway!

 I tried to get Holly in, just to wet her paws but as normal, she stayed dry!

Think again!

 We did meet up with Barney II who is still wondering what the ferrets are! Soppy pup just won't accept our explanation that they are 'Long Wheel Base Rats'!

........but they are sooo sweeet!

 Lunchtime the tide had gone out so I had a last roll on the sand 'cos tomorrow we will be at Gretna Green and all they have there is a muddy football pitch!

Come on Holly Chops, look, it's not wet!

 Even Freddy and Wendy joined in the fun and games and had a roll in the grass!

Now, we may not get to upload the blog tomorrow 'cos there is no Wi-Fi in the caravan site, so, don't worry, we'll tell you all about the trip once we have arrived in Morvich!

Frogs 4 Us!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and of course, Freddy de Ferret!

Another fun day here in North Kent!

It wasn't so warm and sunny this morning but that didn't stop May chasing Holly along the beach!

Slow down and I'll bite your tail!

We got back home to find The Missus had left two bowls of Doggy Scoff for Holly and me. We were not amused!

Old Two Legs got a telephone call from TM saying that there were four frogs waiting for him and a little woofer by the name of Missy!

That was it, OTL was off like a shot but he left Holly and me at home while he got to make friends with little Missy!

As Missy was trying to decide if OTL was going to eat her or not she spotted Rosie coming through the door and decided that her arms were a safer place to be than close to OTL!

Rosie got a 'Thank You Licky Kiss' from Missy!

This is a safe place to be!

Steve had brought along four junior frogs from his pond for our pond! OTL was Tickled Pink and was heading home with the frogs.

.......are we there yet?

 OTL put the bin on it's side next to the pond and all four frogs jumped out at the same time!

Two of them immediately disappeared into the reeds but the other two sat there taking in their surroundings!

Well, this is a different pond!

 There were other stuff swimming past the frogs and it wasn't too long before they decided that this swimming stuff was really food!

That tasted good!

The frog in the reeds said that there wasn't so much to eat where he was so, doing a quick back flip he landed in the deeper part of the pond and was soon diving down under the Lily Pad leaves!

You know, I could get used to this pond!

That was it, they soon disappeared and now we will just have to keep our eyes open to keep Herons and Cats out of the garden so the frogs have a chance to grow big and fat, just like Holly Dog!

Tomorrow we will start to pack the caravan and OTL says he will give it a wash and also clean out the car.

So, it's going to be a busy day!

An Alarming Day but sunny!

Yo Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss may, Miss April, Miss Wendy and not forgetting Freddy de Ferret!

Old Two Legs was up early this morning to look at his weather monitoring machine thingy wotsit! There he was, eating his bowl of rabbit food and milk and telling the ferrets all about the wind direction and humidity!

As if the ferrets were interested!

Still, it keeps him out of trouble, which is more than can be said for Wendy and May!

Every morning OTL lets May and April out of their cage and April goes straight to her medicine bowl which has her heart tablet crushed and soaked with antibiotic, then topped up with Lactose free milk, (two tea spoons full) and a squirt of diuretic and finally a sprinkle of Ferretone which is a sort of cod liver oil!

Now, if that lot was presented to me in a bowl I think I would kick it over and walk out of the office!

Not April, she just loves it and slurps down every last drop!

Maybe she knows that it is keeping her fit and healthy and mending her sore paw!

Down on the beach Holly was soaking up the rays and telling May all about the times she has been on holiday and the fun she and I have had chasing rabbits!

.....then Daisy went around one side and I went the other way to trap the bunny!

Unfortunately, ferrets have a very short attention span, a bit like OTL, and it wasn't too long before May said she just had to go for a run up the beach!

Back home we were waiting for some workmen to arrive. OTL had booked them to come and give the house alarm system a check over and to re wire a power supply. Of course, Holly and I got in their way by sniffing all of their tool boxes and bag looking for and food we could mug!

No food, seems they were on a diet!

We left them to carry on while we went for our lunchtime wander.

Now normally Freddy gets a carry all the way to the beach but today he just needed to get his paws on the ground and as soon as he had done a wee, he 'Fell Over' saying he couldn't go any further!

Wendy said that he was getting 'Just Too Embarrassing' and left him in the middle of the path!

That ferret is just too much!

In the end OTL gave him a carry to the beach 'cos we just couldn't wait any longer!

While we all had a game Freddy found a shady spot under the Sea Wall and fell asleep!

This is the life!

You know, he didn't even tell us his legs were seized up, he just crashed out and before long was snoozing!

It don't get any better than this!

You know what? OTL had to pick Freddy up and carry him to the Grass Path before he would even try walking again!

It was terribly slow going waiting for Freddy to walk along to the bench. Holly and I got a move on and before long we found a cool shady spot under the bench, just right for waiting for Freddy to arrive!

I don't know why he tries it on all the time, you think he would have learnt OTL is not going to carry him!

Back home it was fun, the engineers were testing the alarm system and they set it up while Holly and I ran from room to room setting off the PIR's! In the end we got locked in the bedroom and told not to move!

Tomorrow The Missus is off to her Master Class so we have a day of fun with OTL!

Sunshine and Gutters!

Hi Woofers!

It's us back again!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and of course the Wunderful Freddy de Ferret!

It has been one of those busy but fun days.

It started off with Old Two Legs reading the instructions on his new all singing and dancing weather machine. Seems it tells all about the weather where we live!

It tells you wind direction, rain fall, UV Index, barometric pressure, Sunrise, sunset, moon phase, dew point, outdoor and indoor temperature and humidity, wind chill and wind speed and, well it goes on for ages listing all the stuff.

Us woofers just stick our noses out of the door and can tell straight away if it is raining or cold!

This thing uploads all manner of details onto the internetty thing and if you Google 'Wunderground' and then search for Allhallows or IALLHALL2, you can see our contribution to the worlds weather forecasting!

Mind you, we really didn't need it this morning 'cos when we looked out of the door it was sunny!

It's sunny down on the beach as well!

Miss May tried taking the Micky out of OTL by sticking her head into the Sea Kale and saying that it was 'Poor Visibility'!

Can't see my paw in front of my whiskers!

Back home OTL got all busy. You see he has been promising  for some time to clean the gutters and get rid of all the moss that had blocked the gutter. So, there he was, hanging onto the top of the ladder scraping the moss and stuff out and putting it into the rubbish bin!

By the time he had done that and cleaned the ferret cages out, it was time to take Freddy and Wendy out for their lunchtime run.

They both had a game of 'Chase' on the beach and then dug a few holes!

Hot work this 'Dig and Whizz'!

 When we got back to the car we all had a drink of cool water and of course Miss Wendy just had to crack a funny!

I said 'Stired not Shaken and where is the ice cubes?'

We are all getting ready for the holiday now. OTL is getting his camera gear ready and The Missus is loading up her cardy stuff, the ferrets are storing food in their travelling cage while Holly and I are trying to find the Chicken Fillets!

Let's hope Archie Babe had a gentle wash down at the parlour, I mean, it wouldn't do to get too wet!

Misty or Wot!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Well, it has been a misty day today, the rain has gone and all we are left with was a bank of mist that hung around for most of the day!

That made the sea look like it had run away 'cos we couldn't see it until we got onto the beach!

I don't know, it was there yesterday!

 Once we were onto the beach we discovered that other things had disappeared, like Southend!

Now where has it gone?

 Not that it worried the ferrets 'cos they can't see things at a distance so all they are worried about is what is within ten feet!

Wot Sea?

 Miss May found a large lump of wood that had washed ashore. She was investigating it and wondering if she could turn it into a surf board!

I could be a 'Surfin Ferret!'

 Back home Old Two Legs got to work cleaning the cages and May went on a rampage around the house. One thing she loves is to run across the computer keyboard and get the Windows all confused!

Another thing she loves to do is to order loads of stuff on line and scare poor OTL!

This one is for stamps, right?

 Lunchtime we were out with Wendy and Freddy. Now, you know that OTL likes to take pictures of us and to get a good one he has to be down at our level, which is a bit difficult with the ferrets! Another thing is, as soon as he gets down to their level, they think he is offering to pick them up and give them a lift in the ferret bag!

So, OTL has to be sneaky but the ferrets are quick to realise what is happening and as soon as his knees start to bend, they come running!

Here's Freddy!

Now then, what a lucky pair Izzy and Hamish are, a new woofer in the household! We will be expecting loads of pictures of Bella and her Black Spot!

I don't think we need any more woofers here, four ferrets are enough for us!

The Weather Man says Changeable!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back again!

Yesterday was great, sunshine and more sunshine, today?

Rain!

Miss May got soaking wet 'cos she just loves the wet grass. April stayed in the ferret bag and kept warm and dry!

Holly and I got wet!

Lunchtime was just as bad.

Rain.

Both Freddy and Wendy got wet, so did Holly and I!

Old Two Legs got wet as well!

Not the best day we've had this week!

Tomorrow it will be better, or else!

Poor Freddy is falling to bits!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret (Mr Falling to Bits!)

Well, today has been fun, I mean, loads of laughs all around!

It started with Old Two Legs telling us about his course on Tilt/Shift lens and how to use them!

We had a look at the pictures he took and really, we didn't understand what he was talking about!

There was one picture we thought was funny, we have decided to call it 'Lamb at Full Tilt!'

Full Tilt!

Miss April was doing well again this morning and managed to get all the way back to the car without being picked up! OTL says that she is showing signs of improvement and on top of that, her sore paw is going down in size and we reckon it will be back to normal before we go on holiday!

Holly and I had a great game of 'Dig and Whizz' while Miss May was sniffing through all the sea weed!

Can't Catch Me!

Lunchtime was fun as well, the tide was almost in and I managed to get a tiddly bit wet!

OTL found a stick and threw it into the water for me to get. Now it wasn't too deep but the waves were a bit high, in fact, higher than me!

Watch out for the wave!

On top of that they were rather quick today!

What! Gurgle gurgle gurgle!

But in the end I got the stick!

Got It!

Holly tried to pinch it when I got ashore but there was no way she was getting My Stick!

Freddy, being a kind soul found another stick but Holly just showed off and waddled off up the grass path!

Here Holly, you can have this one!

 After all that I reckoned I deserved a good roll in the sand, so I did!

I really need this!

 As we were heading back to the car Freddy tried his old trick!

I've twisted my claw!

 No one really took any notice, so he called out for Wendy.

This really hurts you know. I think I'm finished! Give me a cuddle to ease the pain!

 Not satisfied with that he then called out for 'Resuscitation'!

I need Mouth to Mouth, but no tongues!

 Well, that didn't work and as we all headed off leaving him on the ground he tried again.

Honest, it's my back legs now, they have seized up!

 We kept walking.

My legs! I can't feel my legs!

 Still no one stopped!

That's it, I'm Fox Fodder, I'm done for!

 OTL called out that he would give Freddy's share of Ferretone to Miss May and suddenly Freddy was cured!

He came bounding along the path saying he had just had a Miracle!

We don't think he will ever learn!

We are off to see what OTL has for dinner and can we pinch any!

Guess Who's Back?

Hi Woofers!

Yep! It's us again!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Sorry about yesterday, you see Old Two Legs was off at six yesterday morning, after cleaning out the ferrets and giving April her meds. That left The Missus to look after us.

Little did we know she was off up the village hall for a Master Class!

The ferrets didn't get a walk, we got left at home, all day and we only got a quick morning walk across the Farm Field!

TM and Helen called in at lunchtime and we got a walk around the Farm Field again and shoved back in the house again!

Holly and I were up for writing a complaining blog but OTL had forgotten to leave the password to get into the laptop, so that was it!

OTL didn't get back from his meeting until seven thirty, and by the time he had his dinner, it was time for bed!

However, today we have spent with OTL and got our walks with the ferrets, so we are sort of 'Back to Normal' again!

It was a super morning, the sun was shining and the ferrets managed to blag a lift in the ferret bag all the way down to the beach!

It's close, I can sniff the Sea Weed!

 Of course, Little April just had to ask..................

Are We?

 Holly and I were catching up on the sniffs we missed yesterday.

These are better than the Farm Field!

 Down on the beach I found a sandcastle and took a swipe at it with my paw as I passed by. That was an invitation for the ferrets to have a dig at it as well!

If I give it a shove it may just fall over!

 Well, it didn't fall over and that left Miss April to finish it off!

Now, if I chase OTL the lead will slice through the sandcastle and it will crash to the ground!

 She was right, it fell over and April jumped onto the top of the pile and did a 'Victory Wee'!

Next it was over to the Sea Kale and April made us all watch her 'Doing Cute'!

Bet you can't beat this for Cute!

 Miss Aprils paw it getting better, the swelling is slowly coming down and it isn't so sore now. Just to prove how well she feels, she walked all the way back from the beach to the car without a carry!

OTL went off to collect the caravan and it is now planted on the drive ready for getting ready for our holiday!

We have been telling Fred and Wendy all about our holidays and the new sniffs and the beaches and all the fun we have. They both say they are looking forward to it 'cos they have never been on a holiday before!

Lunchtime we were back down the beach again and this time the tide was right in. Of course I was straight into the water chasing sticks!

I got it! Come on throw it again!

 Holly Dog decided that the water was just a little too far up the beach for her liking, so she stayed up on the Sea Wall and kept out of the way of the waves!

No, this is far enough for me thank you!

 Freddy, being a bit braved than Holly, went down to the waters edge and was watching the waves.

What he didn't allow for was the wave rushing up the beach to where he was standing!

He got wet!

Yikes! All me 'Bits' are wet!

I don't think Freddy will ever learn, but it was fun watching him especially when he rushed back to OTL and insisted on being picked up and cuddled so he could get dry!

OTL had to go home with a wet shirt!

We are just off now to investigate what is for dinner 'cos we got served up with Doggy Scoff!

Let's hope OTL has got better than Doggy Scoff!

I'm in Trouble, again!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

We were out this morning with May and April and you will be pleased to know that the Sore Paw is not so red and sore and Old Two Legs even thinks it has gone down in size! We will know more tomorrow morning when OTL has another look.

April says that it is not so painful to walk on! So, it looks like the Anti-Biotic Stuff is working!

Look! I've even had a dig!

Of course, Miss May not only had a dig but she managed to have a good roll in the hole she dug as well!

Bet you woofers can't do this!

Coming off the beach we spotted Kelly the Kestrel looking for breakfast and May said the she 'Fancied her Chances' and could we get him down on the ground?

OTL told her to stop trying to start a fight and get on with her Ferreting!

Come down here and try it!

You know that Aprils paw is getting better 'cos she walked all the way back to the car without trying to blag a lift in the ferret bag!

We got some chicken for breakfast so while OTL was down his customers again, we enjoyed a good snooze on the bed!

Now, lunchtime, well, it was just Great!

It started off with Wendy running all over the beach digging holes. A real game of Ferret Whizz and Dig!

Here comes the Fast Flying Ferret!

Not to be out done, Freddy said he was going to have a rest on the beach and do some work on his tan! Holly asked him if he had got any Factor 30 Cream but Freddy said that he tans naturally!

Soon I'll be Golden Brown all over!

The best bit was when OTL found a stick and was waving it about and teasing me!

Well, he wasn't going to get away with that so I told him didn't I.........!

THROW THE WOOFING STICK!

 We then had a game of 'Chase the Stick and I had a swim as well!

The waves were a bit rough but that wasn't going to stop me!

OK, here I go!

Up the top of the hill we met up with Poppy and Beau who came over to say hello to the ferrets. Now, that was OK and we all had a Tail Sniff and a look at the ferrets and then another Tail Sniff.

Then it was time to go.

Well, that's what the Two Legs decided but Poppy didn't agree with that so we had to leave her being dragged along the path as Poppy was saying that she wasn't ready to go yet!

But I don't want to go yet Mum!

Back home OTL was back on the computer trying to get all the stuff finished before the weekend starts, so we left him alone for a while!
