Four Flogs and a Beep Beep!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It's all go today. Old Two Legs has been down to the vet to get another prescription for our anti flea and tick medication.

More money but he does save by getting it 'On Line'.

He does get to save money doing it that way!

First thing this morning he wandered down stairs to get his breakfast and some Lactose Free milk for the ferrets, when as he peeked out of the window, what did he see?

Four Flogs guarding the Flog Splawn!

Number Five is missing!
It was when they spotted us and dived under the weed that we counted five splashes, so there must be five Flogs in the pond!

Down on the beach this morning it looked like it was going to rain all day so we didn't hang about and instead headed back to home as fast as our paws would carry us!

Everything changed by the time we wanted to go out at lunchtime. Loads of sun, warm beaches but the sea was still too wet for swimming!

So, instead Holly and I had a 'Swim' on the beach!

Me doing 'Back Stroke'!
Of course, the ferrets had to get in on the act and Miss May was showing off her 'Sand Diving'!

Down we go!
OTL has been on the computer doing 'Quotes', all rather boring really so Holly and I have been snoozing.

One exciting thing happened today, Miss Wendy has been fighting with Miss May, through the bars on the cage and when she is 'Having a Go' she lets loose one of her 'Ferret Farts' which can really make your eyes water!

Well, she has started to get a bit 'Whiffy' so OTL decided she needed a bath!

Miss Wendy has never had a bath before so when she got into the bowl of soap suds she really didn't know if she was enjoying it or not!

After a wash and a rinse under the tap she got dried off with a towel and roll in the blanket that OTL put on the sofa!

She sniff much better now but we don't like the way OTL keeps looking at us and sniffing!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Flog Splawn and the Rio Grande!

Yo Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a surprise we had this morning, Old Two Legs let Holly and I out for our morning patrol around the garden but when we got to the pond, we both stopped and gazed at two balls of jelly in the pond!

We got OTL out and he confirmed it was Flog Splawn!

It won't be too long and we will have loads of little flogs jumping around the garden, chasing the birds and hunting the rat!

We could always do a 'Archie Babe' and catch the frogs and bring them in doors for TM!

Yeah! That would be fun!

Tons of Flog Splawn!
It was a bit damp down on the beach this morning and the weather man says it will be very wet this afternoon as well!

Here comes the rain, again!
Needless to say, we didn't hang about and even the ferrets decide to jog back to the car!

Things are a little different for The Missus, she is in Big Bend National Park where the Rio Grande river flows, so, she just had to get her photo taken alongside the river.

Spot TM!
After deciding they don't have a telephoto lens, TM decides to have a sit down. Now, can you see the rattler?

Rattle Snakes swim as well!
TM said that OTL would have enjoyed the canyons and river 'cos he is into landscape photography

I can see a rattler behind you!
TM and Co will be going back home soon and plan a day of crafting and mucking about with paints to reflect the colours they saw in the canyons!

Arty or wot!

Holly and I got Doggy Scoff again today but this was a different sort which wasn't too bad!

Mind you, it always tastes better when you spread some of the gravy from OTL's dinner over the top!

We went down the vets to get checked out before they would issue the prescriptions. Holly has put on a bit of weight since the last time she was weighed, I am still a slim 7.8Kg but Porkie Chops Holly Dog has gone up from 10.5Kg to 10.8Kg!

Trouble with her is she likes her grub too much!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret

TM's Spending Spree!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Spring is here, we know that 'cos Old Two Legs gets the caravan fully serviced ready for our holidays!

The Service Man has been here all day pushing, poking and slapping on the grease. Every so often Holly and I rush up to the window and give him a good woofing, just to make sure he isn't slacking!

We have been served up with Doggy Scoff today, so, food wise we are not too happy! However, we did get a super Rawhide Chew each and we have spent most of the day having a good old chew under OTL's desk!

Down on the beach there was enough sunshine to brighten up the beach a little but not enough to go sun bathing!

Next stop Hamburg!
There was just one ship heading out to sea, which was rather boring, so we kept to the Sea Wall and made the most of the sunshine!

It's good out of the wind!
Lunchtime it was warmer and a little less windy. Holly decided that she would try some sunbathing on the beach while the ferrets did some digging.

It's no good, there's just too much noise!
Holly said that the noise made by May and Eric was just too loud for her to have a decent snooze, so she joined in a game of 'Dig and Whizz' and a race along the grass path!

Both ferrets were on leads but that didn't stop them from chasing Holly Chops, in fact Eric thought it great fun to run up behind her and give her back legs a nip, just to get her moving!

That's one brave ferret!

'Left Hand Down A Bit Mr Eric'
We had a communication from The Missus saying she was off to the National Park and was trying to decide on the mode of transport, first they thought they might try something mode 'Traditional'

Three Wheels on My Wagon'!
Then she thought she might try something with a little more oomph!

Do you take credit card?
Yeah! OK, but can you tow a caravan with it?

TM says that she has seen road signs saying 'Watch Out For Snakes'!

OTL said that Rattle Snake Stew is very tasty!

I won't tell you what TM said, but she wasn't asking for the recipe!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Does it taste like Chicken?

Hi Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

We have heard that The Missus is off to Big Bend National Park today, loads of scenery, rattle snakes and herds of buffalo!

She plans to be there for three or four days riding horses and hiking over the canyons!

Back in England, Holly and I were up early to get out 'cos the sunshine had arrived!

Down on the beach we arrived just at the same time as a load of clouds!

It was one of those days when Old Two Legs could have done with a Yellow Filter!

Oh! for a Yellow Filter!
It got better at lunchtime, the sun came out, the wind dropped and it was just right!

Then Holy did her 'Warning Woof' 'cos she spotted a couple of Two Legs wandering along the Sea Wall with a woofer on a lead.
I Spy a Woofer!
Once they got closer we saw it was young Prince and his TL's and Prince was on his paws sniffing along. That was until he got to the bit where on the beach, beneath where he was standing was Miss Wendy.

Prince had never seen a ferret before and of course being a puppy there was only one thing that came into his mind!
Does it taste like Chicken?
Now what Prince didn't do was to look around him before asking questions like that! Just along the beach a little was Freddy and Freddy is sort of attached to Wendy, so, you will understand it when he spoke up and said.............

Nearly as tasty as Little Woofers!
Prince didn't hang about 'cos he couldn't see where the voice was coming from!

Back home we asked OTL to do our dinner earlier than normal 'cos both Holly and I felt a little peckish!

Mind you, that will give us a chance to seriously mug OTL when he does his dinner!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

A relaxing Sunday!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

We had some fun last night, after a great evening watching Game of Thrones, eating nibbles and getting crumbs all over the place, we headed off to bed at ten fifteen!

Now, that's late for us!

During the night Old Two Legs and I were woken up by a noise that sounded like there was someone down stairs, talking!

OTL was about to get up to 'Investigate' when we realised it was Holly Chops, snoring her tail off!

She was on her back with her legs in the air and her head thrown right back!

Being Sunday we were up a little later than normal and even the ferrets were still asleep.

Down on the beach it was windy, chilly and rainy. It wasn't a lot of rain but the drops were cold and Holly just doesn't do wet! So, off she went back to the car while we followed on at 'Ferret Speed'!

Not the best weather for a Sunday!
Back home it was 'Clearing Up', well there were crumbs all over the place and the ferrets have been hiding our biscuits in the sofa! It's a good job our noses are so sensitive so we could sniff out the food and then tell OTL where it's all hidden!

Lunchtime it had stopped raining for just enough to get out for our lunchtime wall!

As normal, there were loads of visitors from all over the place and we got the normal questions, What are they? Are they Possums? Do they bite? Can little Brooklyn stroke one?

We loved the last on, send their child to stroke the ferret first so that if the ferret bites it'll get the child first!

OTL always shows them Eric's teeth and then says 'Stroke the other end!' Some do and some don't know what end to stroke!

I wouldn't bite really!
Miss May will allows strokes but only when OTL is holding her to make sure she is OK!

No Carry, No Strokes!
Back home we decided to have a sit down and a snooze before dinner. We have Chicken tonight, providing it thaws out in time! OTL says that he may give it a blast in the microwave just to help it along!

OTL is lucky, his dinners are designed to be microwaved from frozen and left for a couple of minutes to 'Rest'. OTL has been eating all of them and sometimes puts what is left of the gravy over our dinners, just in case we need a 'Kick Start' to get going!

Now, besides meat and potatoes he has been getting cabbage and cauliflower and green stuff he would not normally eat, but he eats it all down like a good boy, mainly 'cos the dinners are designed for those without a big appetite!

So, the Happy Meals could be described as 'Edible and good if you are on a diet or don't need a big dinner'!

OTL could do with loosing some of the podge around his gut so he is not complaining too much! Any way, he finishes off with cheese and biscuits and short bread and crisps and cheese straws and chocolate covered honeycomb and a healthy slurp of Single Malt!

He also has been doing some damage to the large pack of Twigglets he found in the back of the cupboard! We are not too sure if that is slimming or not!

So, he is 'surviving' and if things get tough, he'll pop up the road for a Kofti Kebab, large of course!

We have been told that The Missus is off to the Movies tonight, hot dog rolls and a bucket of Popcorn, sounds as slimming as OTL's nosh!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret

A New Woofer on The Wall!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Well, Saturday is for relaxing and snoozing and as far as Old Two Legs goes, shovelling Ferret Poo!

It has been a dull sort of day weather wise, not very exciting at all, in fact, rather boring! We did see some Black Thorn trees in flower, so that's a good Spring Indicator!

We were doing our normal Beach Sniffing when we spotted a young woofer in the distance who looked more legs than anything else!

Wot do you reckon, Sniff or Woof?
When it finally arrived it was a bit scared of us and Old Two Legs, that was until OTL took his hat off and had a little game with the woofer!

Not sure about you lot!
He was introduced as Prince and his Two Legs were the 'Westie Dave' who sadly crossed over the Rainbow Bridge a while ago.

Prince is a bit of a mixture, we can see Poodle but we're not sure about the other half!

I'm only a little puppy!
We look forward to seeing more of him on the Sea Wall!

Eric was in fine fettle with his digging on the sand. He did a long trench and he would have gone further except for the lead stopping him go any further!

I'm a Trenching Ferret!
Being Saturday it has been 'Clean Up' day and OTL has been dashing about with the carpet cleaner sweeping up all our biscuit crumbs and stuff he has dropped as well! Then of course there is all the stuff the ferrets have been pinching and hiding under the chairs and behind all the curtains!

We got Doggy Scoff today, yuk! I blame The Missus, OTL would never buy us that terrible stuff, still, he does give us some of the gravy after he has finished his meal!

Sunday will be a load of fun, loads of rain promised, the ferrets might get to stay in bed!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Lazy Day, for us!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Friday today and the Premium Bond People haven't sent an email telling Old Two Legs he has won any prizes this month so it looks like he has to keep on working!

Just think, if we won a fortune we could have Chicken Fillets every day!

As it is, he didn't, and we ain't!

So it's back to a game of Dig and Whiz' on the beach!

Can't Catch Me!
It was fun steaming up and down the beach while the ferrets were digging in the sea shell pile!

Here I Come!
It was all OK until Holly spotted a couple of strangers walking along the Sea Wall. She gave one of her 'Warning Woofs' which gave OTL time to put the camera away and pick up Fred and Wendy.

I Spy Woofers!
It was OK in the end and OTL carried both ferrets up onto the grass path where they trotted all the way back to the car!

We got some pictures from The Missus this morning, seems they spent the day playing 'Inky Fingers' and you can guess who it was who got the inkiest fingers!

Slap it on girl!
How is it you can make so much mess and produce just one card!

This is ART, Yeah!
I think we'll stick to our game of 'Dig and Whiz' thank you!

BTW, OTL is having problems with the video, he has lost the 'Instruction Manual' for the program and keeps deleting it!

It's a good job he still has the memory card and he has to start from the beginning every time!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Sunshine!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It was a bit windy when we went out first thing this morning, but at least the sun was shining!

Holly and I went of chasing rabbits but they wouldn't hang around for us to have a game, said something about being scared of woofers with big teeth!

As if!

We had a message from The Missus, they are having loads of fun, shopping and sight seeing and having a royal old time!

We should be getting some more pictures of wot they are getting up to, so we will be waiting for those to arrive!

Morning Sheerness!
It was a little windy this morning but the rays of the sun managed to get through the clouds and later on the clouds almost all dissapeared!

The ferrets were having a great time rampaging around the house and of course May was digging into the cupboard looking for her 'Nodules', which she found and ran off to hide behind the curtain!

Old Two Legs has been messing about with the video camera, seems he forgot just how long he left the video running while he went off to do his chores!

It looks like we have hours of video of the kitchen cupboard an nuffin else!

Wanna Play Ball OTL?
Eric had fun with the 'Wobbly Ball'. It's the one that suddenly does a left or right paw turn as you roll it across the floor, in the end he managed to flatten the battery inside the ball!

Down on the beach it was a little windy but we all had fun digging holes, rolling in sniffs and woofing at the passing visitors!

I don't do Woofing!
Lunchtime the sky looked brighter and the sun was filtering through the fluffy clouds. Roll on Summer!

It's getting brighter every day!
TM is off to Big Bend National Park for a few days so we are expecting some serious photo's of big canyons and the odd rattle snake!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Remember The Alamo!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

We have had some photos from The Missus last night. They all went visiting San Antonio and The Alamo!

Old Two Legs is dead jealous of her being there 'cos it's one place he would just love to visit!

Watch out for canon balls!
Then of course, they have got to get used to looking to the right first when crossing roads!

No! Here it is Look Right then Left!
Back home OTL has been 'Domestic Engineering' today. He was going to leave the ferret poo to pile up in the kitchen and clear it up once a week but the pile got a bit high and he couldn't get to the microwave to cook his dinner, so, today he decided to shovel it all up and wash the floor as well.

Now it's great when the floor is still wet all over 'cos we can rush into the kitchen, do a 'Paw Brake Turn' and spin around in circles! It's even better when the ferrets do it 'cos they all end up getting giddy and they sometimes fall into our water bowl which is a bit like a swimming pool to a ferret!

Mind you, the sniff of the disinfectant makes you eyes water just a little bit so a quick dip in the water bowl helps wash it away!

Today it is another tin of Doggy Scoff that has been presented and we're not happy about it! We blame TM really, Holly reckons she gives it to us so we have to 'Fast' one day in three!

Not fair!

We wonder what OTL will microwave tonight, maybe some gravy will spill into our bowl of mush!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Up Pops Trevor and TM is going just a little Potty!

Hi Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Things are beginning to settle down into a daily rhythm, we are getting fed on time, so is Old Two Legs and 'Walkies' are back to normal!

We have heard that The Missus is buying up all the craft stuff in Texas and is planning to move into the Craft Mall!

Mind you, she had better behave herself 'cos if she carries on like she did yesterday she might not be let in there again!

TM is the one in the middle!
You know she is getting on a bit but buying a hat so she remembers where she is???????

Yeah! We know, Texas!
We have been told that they are all off to the Alamo today, let's hope they don't get into trouble!

Back home here we have spotted Young Trevor The Frog! He has come out of hibernation at the bottom of the pond and was enjoying a warming 'Sun Bathe' when OTL got his camera out and went 'Click'.............Trevor heard that and went 'Splosh' as he headed for the depths again!

Jus' Blowing Some Bubbles!
Down on the Sea Wall we met up with some of The Lads and of course, they all made a fuss of OTL! Polly even rolled onto her back to get her tummy tickled, the Tart!

The Tart!
Little Boo was all for having a game with the ferrets but as she is not much bigger than a ferret we reckon the ferrets would have the upper paw!

Me Play Wiv Ferrets, please?
The tide was very high today, in fact it was so high that we didn't even see the sand! So, bang goes our hole digging until tomorrow!

As it is the 'End of Month' time OTL has been on the computer sending invoices and stuff, so we have been enjoying ourselves with a snooze under office desk!

It's a great place to rest, except when the ferrets decide to use the 'Poo Place' which is right next to where Holly likes to snooze!

We are off now to watch 'Game of Thrones' that have been recorded from the TV!

Loads of fun!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
