More trees blossoming!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, it's been another super day today. First of all we had an extra half an hour in bed this morning 'cos Old Two Legs didn't hear the alarm go off, mainly 'cos he didn't set it last night!2

Mind you, we didn't care 'cos that left us a nice warm beach to have a roll in!

Holly loves warm sand!
It didn't stop OTL from telling her to 'Grow up' which made her show off!

No, Won't, Warm Sand is Soooo Gooood!
it wasn't all blue sky but there was hardly a ripple on the sea and just for once, all the ships had gone!

I see no ships!
Lunchtime it was still the same and although we were late in getting down there 'cos we had to wait for a delivery.

I managed to get a quick dip in the water, before OTL spotted me and told me to 'Act My Age'!

As if!

Loads of Sniffs!
Eric and May were having a great time rolling in the Sea Kale and sniffing all the sniffs on the sea wall!
Come on, my turn to have a roll!

OTL was looking at the blossom that had suddenly appeared on the bushes, all those flowers just waiting to burst out!

OK lads, tomorrow we all go BANG!
First thing in the morning we have good fun with the flogs, I come
downstairs with OTL and throws open the curtain and there is an enormous
splashing as six flogs leap off the weed and head for the bottom of the
pond in a panic!

It is So Funny to see all these back legs and flogy bottoms jumping all over the place!

See you all tomorrow!

OTL has got to go to the dentist tomorrow, more money and pain!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Freddy visits the Vet!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

We had an email from The Missus this morning, she has purchased, at great expense, a new hand bag and purse.

Holly says it's a real 'Tarts Handbag'!
Can't imagine she will carry that through customs on the way back, mind you, they sort of go with the shoes!

She is still looking for the 'High Heeled' version!
There is no way she is taking us for a walk in them, with or without the horse!

It was super warm on the beach this morning and we all had a good roll in the sand, I even gave the waves a good woofing and Old Two Legs woofed at me and told me I couldn't go in for a swim!

Can't catch me!
The sun was shining and the sky was blue, yep, Spring has arrived!

Spring!
The ferrets were rather thirsty after their trot along the beach and as soon as they got back to the car they both dived into the water bowl!

I jus' love a good slurp after a run on the beach!
Loads of fun this afternoon, OTL has been kept busy with 'Work' but promised to finish early so he can cook our dinner!

I'll have to go and remind him!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Sunday is for resting and Counting Flogs!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

You know, today started off just super, sunshine, balmy breezes and more blossom on the trees!

Talking of Barmy Things, just look at these two, I mean, we couldn't imagine a more dodgy looking pair of tourists inn the world! We reckon they are working out how to get the wheel on the plane back home!

One Wheel on my Wagon!
We were doing better things, like digging up the beach and chasing sniffs!

OTL spotted SIX Flogs in the pond this morning! They were all sitting there sunbathing but as soon as OTL moved the door to take a picture they all went SPLOSH and disappeared under the weeds. Except one who was fast asleep and got woke up by the sploshing but didn't know what or why, so OTL got a picture of that one instead of all six!

Did I miss something?
Just like Ratty, OTL will get a picture in the end. That makes me think, we haven't been putting out any seed for the birds since The Missus left for the U.S.A. and of course, there hasn't been piles of seed on the floor and we haven't seen Ratty either.  Maybe he has got fed up and gone off to the Chip Shop to mug the patrons there!

Unfortunately, we were served up Doggy Scoff today, not our usual old muck but a new tasting muck! Well, for a change both Holly and I woofed it all down and came back for a treat afterwards!

This afternoon we all had a cuddle on OTL's chair, after he had repaired it! One of the screws holding it all together had fallen out so armed with a big screwdriver he reinstalled it and tightened up all the others he could find!

So, we are off to see if the flog count has gone up but as it has started to rain we think the flogs will go into hiding 'cos the don't like it when it rains, strange that is!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

England 61 Scotland 21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, we haven't seen Old Two Legs so happy! He has been watching the rugby on TV and has been jumping up and down, whooping and shouting!

Not only did England win the match but they have won the Six Nations title but equal the world record of 18 consecutive Test victories!

Holly and I tried to have a snooze while all this was going on but the noise OTL was making was enough to wake the dead!

That is another reason why we are late getting the blog on line!

Blame OTL!

This morning we noticed the blossom had burst out, a sure sign that Spring is here!

Hawthorn Blossom
Freddy and Wendy had a great time on the beach digging holes and chasing Holly and me away from their holes!

This is Our Hole!
Of course, all this running around made them tired and after a clean of their cage and change of bedding they both crashed out, snoring their tails off!

Freddy falling out of bed!
Lunchtime was brilliant, the tide had turned but that didn't stop Miss May from going for a little paddle, just to wet her claws!

Splish, Splash, Splosh!
I spotted a tennis ball in the water and was in straight away trying to 'Rescue' it!

OTL spotted me but it was too late, I was soaking wet from my nose to my tail!

My first Swim of the Year!

Me doing a Splish, Splash, Splosh of my own!
Back home OTL cooked up some super chicken thighs which Holly and I finished off in one sitting! Just as a reward for eating it, Holly and I got a Teeth Cleaning Chew each!

The Missus sent an email saying she is off to a 'Cowboy Town' to see a rodeo! Let's hope she doesn't get into any trouble racing up and down the high street on her horse!

It's a bit much trying to loose little Lady, one of Izzy's puppies just 'cos she has a little poo now and again!

I wish we had the room, we would take her in to our house. Unfortunately, four ferrets, two woofers, The Missus and OTL has sort of filled up the sleeping space on the bed!

Can you imagine it with another woofer here!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Friday is Here!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you!

Well, today has ended rather sunny. Earlier on it was cloudy but no rain! Looks like it could be a good weekend!

The Missus is having fun searching for new Shopping Malls in Texas where everything is BIG!

She said she had a steak yesterday and it was so big that it walked to the table!

We had Doggy Scoff and the last dripping from Old Two Legs dinner!

Holly and I better get some decent scoff soon or we will be rebelling! No more Cuddles for anyone!

Down on the beach Freddy and Wendy watched a ship go by while Old Two Legs was chatting to some Two Legs who wanted to know all about ferrets!

How unusual!

Sailing By!
Lunchtime the sun almost came out but it wasn't too cold and May and Eric enjoyed a dig in the sand!

Sand on my nose? Really!
Of course, that gave Holly and I the idea that we would have a game of 'Dig & Whizz'!

Gerroff it's My Hole!
Back home Mr Tesco Man delivered next weeks scoff and there was a load of tins of Doggy Scoff but I did see some Lambs Heart and Chicken Thighs!

There was a couple of Rawhide Chews I spotted, so it looks like we have got a treat at some time over the next week!

We are off now to see our Lambs Heart being cooked!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Four Flogs and a Beep Beep!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It's all go today. Old Two Legs has been down to the vet to get another prescription for our anti flea and tick medication.

More money but he does save by getting it 'On Line'.

He does get to save money doing it that way!

First thing this morning he wandered down stairs to get his breakfast and some Lactose Free milk for the ferrets, when as he peeked out of the window, what did he see?

Four Flogs guarding the Flog Splawn!

Number Five is missing!
It was when they spotted us and dived under the weed that we counted five splashes, so there must be five Flogs in the pond!

Down on the beach this morning it looked like it was going to rain all day so we didn't hang about and instead headed back to home as fast as our paws would carry us!

Everything changed by the time we wanted to go out at lunchtime. Loads of sun, warm beaches but the sea was still too wet for swimming!

So, instead Holly and I had a 'Swim' on the beach!

Me doing 'Back Stroke'!
Of course, the ferrets had to get in on the act and Miss May was showing off her 'Sand Diving'!

Down we go!
OTL has been on the computer doing 'Quotes', all rather boring really so Holly and I have been snoozing.

One exciting thing happened today, Miss Wendy has been fighting with Miss May, through the bars on the cage and when she is 'Having a Go' she lets loose one of her 'Ferret Farts' which can really make your eyes water!

Well, she has started to get a bit 'Whiffy' so OTL decided she needed a bath!

Miss Wendy has never had a bath before so when she got into the bowl of soap suds she really didn't know if she was enjoying it or not!

After a wash and a rinse under the tap she got dried off with a towel and roll in the blanket that OTL put on the sofa!

She sniff much better now but we don't like the way OTL keeps looking at us and sniffing!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Flog Splawn and the Rio Grande!

Yo Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a surprise we had this morning, Old Two Legs let Holly and I out for our morning patrol around the garden but when we got to the pond, we both stopped and gazed at two balls of jelly in the pond!

We got OTL out and he confirmed it was Flog Splawn!

It won't be too long and we will have loads of little flogs jumping around the garden, chasing the birds and hunting the rat!

We could always do a 'Archie Babe' and catch the frogs and bring them in doors for TM!

Yeah! That would be fun!

Tons of Flog Splawn!
It was a bit damp down on the beach this morning and the weather man says it will be very wet this afternoon as well!

Here comes the rain, again!
Needless to say, we didn't hang about and even the ferrets decide to jog back to the car!

Things are a little different for The Missus, she is in Big Bend National Park where the Rio Grande river flows, so, she just had to get her photo taken alongside the river.

Spot TM!
After deciding they don't have a telephoto lens, TM decides to have a sit down. Now, can you see the rattler?

Rattle Snakes swim as well!
TM said that OTL would have enjoyed the canyons and river 'cos he is into landscape photography

I can see a rattler behind you!
TM and Co will be going back home soon and plan a day of crafting and mucking about with paints to reflect the colours they saw in the canyons!

Arty or wot!

Holly and I got Doggy Scoff again today but this was a different sort which wasn't too bad!

Mind you, it always tastes better when you spread some of the gravy from OTL's dinner over the top!

We went down the vets to get checked out before they would issue the prescriptions. Holly has put on a bit of weight since the last time she was weighed, I am still a slim 7.8Kg but Porkie Chops Holly Dog has gone up from 10.5Kg to 10.8Kg!

Trouble with her is she likes her grub too much!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret

TM's Spending Spree!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Spring is here, we know that 'cos Old Two Legs gets the caravan fully serviced ready for our holidays!

The Service Man has been here all day pushing, poking and slapping on the grease. Every so often Holly and I rush up to the window and give him a good woofing, just to make sure he isn't slacking!

We have been served up with Doggy Scoff today, so, food wise we are not too happy! However, we did get a super Rawhide Chew each and we have spent most of the day having a good old chew under OTL's desk!

Down on the beach there was enough sunshine to brighten up the beach a little but not enough to go sun bathing!

Next stop Hamburg!
There was just one ship heading out to sea, which was rather boring, so we kept to the Sea Wall and made the most of the sunshine!

It's good out of the wind!
Lunchtime it was warmer and a little less windy. Holly decided that she would try some sunbathing on the beach while the ferrets did some digging.

It's no good, there's just too much noise!
Holly said that the noise made by May and Eric was just too loud for her to have a decent snooze, so she joined in a game of 'Dig and Whizz' and a race along the grass path!

Both ferrets were on leads but that didn't stop them from chasing Holly Chops, in fact Eric thought it great fun to run up behind her and give her back legs a nip, just to get her moving!

That's one brave ferret!

'Left Hand Down A Bit Mr Eric'
We had a communication from The Missus saying she was off to the National Park and was trying to decide on the mode of transport, first they thought they might try something mode 'Traditional'

Three Wheels on My Wagon'!
Then she thought she might try something with a little more oomph!

Do you take credit card?
Yeah! OK, but can you tow a caravan with it?

TM says that she has seen road signs saying 'Watch Out For Snakes'!

OTL said that Rattle Snake Stew is very tasty!

I won't tell you what TM said, but she wasn't asking for the recipe!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Does it taste like Chicken?

Hi Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

We have heard that The Missus is off to Big Bend National Park today, loads of scenery, rattle snakes and herds of buffalo!

She plans to be there for three or four days riding horses and hiking over the canyons!

Back in England, Holly and I were up early to get out 'cos the sunshine had arrived!

Down on the beach we arrived just at the same time as a load of clouds!

It was one of those days when Old Two Legs could have done with a Yellow Filter!

Oh! for a Yellow Filter!
It got better at lunchtime, the sun came out, the wind dropped and it was just right!

Then Holy did her 'Warning Woof' 'cos she spotted a couple of Two Legs wandering along the Sea Wall with a woofer on a lead.
I Spy a Woofer!
Once they got closer we saw it was young Prince and his TL's and Prince was on his paws sniffing along. That was until he got to the bit where on the beach, beneath where he was standing was Miss Wendy.

Prince had never seen a ferret before and of course being a puppy there was only one thing that came into his mind!
Does it taste like Chicken?
Now what Prince didn't do was to look around him before asking questions like that! Just along the beach a little was Freddy and Freddy is sort of attached to Wendy, so, you will understand it when he spoke up and said.............

Nearly as tasty as Little Woofers!
Prince didn't hang about 'cos he couldn't see where the voice was coming from!

Back home we asked OTL to do our dinner earlier than normal 'cos both Holly and I felt a little peckish!

Mind you, that will give us a chance to seriously mug OTL when he does his dinner!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

A relaxing Sunday!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

We had some fun last night, after a great evening watching Game of Thrones, eating nibbles and getting crumbs all over the place, we headed off to bed at ten fifteen!

Now, that's late for us!

During the night Old Two Legs and I were woken up by a noise that sounded like there was someone down stairs, talking!

OTL was about to get up to 'Investigate' when we realised it was Holly Chops, snoring her tail off!

She was on her back with her legs in the air and her head thrown right back!

Being Sunday we were up a little later than normal and even the ferrets were still asleep.

Down on the beach it was windy, chilly and rainy. It wasn't a lot of rain but the drops were cold and Holly just doesn't do wet! So, off she went back to the car while we followed on at 'Ferret Speed'!

Not the best weather for a Sunday!
Back home it was 'Clearing Up', well there were crumbs all over the place and the ferrets have been hiding our biscuits in the sofa! It's a good job our noses are so sensitive so we could sniff out the food and then tell OTL where it's all hidden!

Lunchtime it had stopped raining for just enough to get out for our lunchtime wall!

As normal, there were loads of visitors from all over the place and we got the normal questions, What are they? Are they Possums? Do they bite? Can little Brooklyn stroke one?

We loved the last on, send their child to stroke the ferret first so that if the ferret bites it'll get the child first!

OTL always shows them Eric's teeth and then says 'Stroke the other end!' Some do and some don't know what end to stroke!

I wouldn't bite really!
Miss May will allows strokes but only when OTL is holding her to make sure she is OK!

No Carry, No Strokes!
Back home we decided to have a sit down and a snooze before dinner. We have Chicken tonight, providing it thaws out in time! OTL says that he may give it a blast in the microwave just to help it along!

OTL is lucky, his dinners are designed to be microwaved from frozen and left for a couple of minutes to 'Rest'. OTL has been eating all of them and sometimes puts what is left of the gravy over our dinners, just in case we need a 'Kick Start' to get going!

Now, besides meat and potatoes he has been getting cabbage and cauliflower and green stuff he would not normally eat, but he eats it all down like a good boy, mainly 'cos the dinners are designed for those without a big appetite!

So, the Happy Meals could be described as 'Edible and good if you are on a diet or don't need a big dinner'!

OTL could do with loosing some of the podge around his gut so he is not complaining too much! Any way, he finishes off with cheese and biscuits and short bread and crisps and cheese straws and chocolate covered honeycomb and a healthy slurp of Single Malt!

He also has been doing some damage to the large pack of Twigglets he found in the back of the cupboard! We are not too sure if that is slimming or not!

So, he is 'surviving' and if things get tough, he'll pop up the road for a Kofti Kebab, large of course!

We have been told that The Missus is off to the Movies tonight, hot dog rolls and a bucket of Popcorn, sounds as slimming as OTL's nosh!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret
