May nearly gets wet!

Hi Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Well, it is not as warm as yesterday, in fact it seemed a little chilly this morning but Old Two Legs said it was because of the 'Chill Factor'!

That means it feels colder because the wind is blowing in off the sea.

Well, at least we can see Sheerness!

 What I wanted to know is, why didn't the heating come on this morning like wot it normally does? I mean, six is the time it comes on and it manages to warm OTL's towel so when he comes out of the shower, there is a warm towel to dry all his bits!

Let's hope nothing is broken!

Lunchtime it warmed up a bit and the ferrets had fun on the beach. Miss May was playing about when a big wave sloshed up onto the beach and wet her paws!

I've never seen a ferret jump so high!

We did notice that Eric stayed well away from the water!

Yikes! That was blooming cold!

 Holly Chops was walking on the beach looking at the sea and shaking her head.

You won't get me in there!

 Miss May had a brilliant idea, she said that if she dug a really big and deep hole then all the sea would go down the hole and disappear and none of us would get our paws wet!

She set about digging the hole but after a while got fed up with digging and decided she would look into hiring a big mechanical digger instead of wearing her claws away!

I can hear some one shouting 'G'Day Cobber'

 Holly decided to retire to the Sea Wall and do one of her 'Poses' just for OTL to take her picture.

I mean, wot a show off!

Now, do I look good or wot?

This afternoon OTL left us at home and went off hunting some new tyres for the big car. It seems that the tyres are a little rare so he has had to order them for delivery tomorrow around eight in the morning.

That means The Missus will be taking us out, Holly and me that is, not the ferrets!

She isn't as clever as OTL in looking after two ferrets and two woofers at the same time!

Let's hope the rain stays away or we will have to have a wee in the garden!

A Seriously Sunny Sunday!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

You know, the things we do for The Missus, just so she can have a fun time!

Take today, there we were being woken up at four in the morning while TM was stomping all over the house, switching on lights, banging pots and pans and running up and down the stairs and crashing around in her store room full of crafty junk!

It got to five and we gave up trying to sleep.

Old Two Legs got up and had his shower and washed his bald spot then got the breakfast ready for him and the ferrets.

So, there we were off down to the Sea Wall for our very early morning walk and both Fred and Wendy were still half asleep as they wandered along the beach!

I don't know where we are, open your eyes and have a look!

 We got back and after doing some tidying OTL got the car out and took Auntie Shelia and TM off to the train station 'cos they were off to Ally Pally for a day of flashing the credit card and gassing!

Lunchtime we were back down the beach again but our normal car park was jam packed with visitors and there was nowhere to park!

OTL, being a sneaky TL parked up in the 'Overflow' car park across the other side of the football pitch!

May and Eric just got all spaced out 'cos there were no bushes to dive into for a wee!

So where are the bushes?

 This was a bit of a worry to Eric 'cos like me, he likes to hide away when  he has a wee out doors!

No Bushes! This is getting scary and I need a wee!

 Lucky for them, and me, OTL took us around a different path and we ended up on our normal path. So Eric got his private wee and I got to cover my tail in the pants as well!

Bet you can't see us in the bushes!

There were loads of TL's on the beach together with their woofers. I went down onto the beach then went in for a deep paddle followed by a swim! Holly, OTL and the ferrets stayed up on the Sea Wall away from any trouble while I got a couple of TL's to throw stones in the water for me to chase!

There were a couple of woofers on the beach who didn't like getting their paws wet, a bit like Holly Chops, and one of them dropped a ball into the water then wouldn't go in and get it. So, me being a good little woofer, went in, picked it up and brought it back to the beach where the woofers picked it up!

OTL and the ferrets wanted to go play in the bushes so I got called off the beach, even though I was covered in sand that had stuck to me when I rolled in the sand to get dry!

Back on the football field the ferrets had a little run around while Holly and I sniffed the sniffs!

Back home OTL was playing on the computer trying to get the Internetty thing to work and the Email to go to the right place but after spending all afternoon doing that and uploading TM's video, he didn't get anything sorted. So it was just as well when he got the telephone call from TM to go and pick her and Auntie Shelia up from the station!

Tonight OTL has been promised a Kofti Kebab, so Holly and I are preparing for some serious mugging 'cos we have spotted the tin of Doggy Scoff on the kitchen work surface!

It wasn't our fault!

Hi Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Sorry about yesterday, we had this super exciting tale to tell with loads of pictures and stuff like that but when I came to put it all down on the blog..............the blog was broken!

Like Google was messing about and we couldn't up load anything, in fact we couldn't even write anything to up load!

This morning I had a look at the blog to find they had stopped messing about and put it all back together again!

Yesterday we met Dylan, he is the young mate for Marley, he looks a right soppy woofer!

Is that Old Two Legs?

 We were all introduced but both Holly and I kept back 'cos he is a bit 'uncontrollable' at the moment!

Mind you, that didn't stop OTL from getting a big lick from both woofers!

Isn't OTL wonderful like wot I told you!

 We have decided to call them the Two Bob Woofers, well, think on it, Bob Marley and Bob Dylan!

Freddy though it was hilarious!

Two Bob Dogs! I just don't believe it!

 This morning it was terribly misty but we could almost see the blue sky. Mind you, it didn't last too long and the sun was back in no time!

I reckon it will clear soon!

We didn't see the Two Bob Boys today but there were loads of strangers wandering up and down the Sea Wall. One family, with a load of Mini Two Legs came stomping along the beach, they had a German Shepherd on a lead and a Jack Russell on a lead as well.

They marched straight up to where OTL and the ferrets were and when OTL gave them the 'Evil Eye' and scooped both Fred and Wendy up into his arms this bozo of a Two Legs said 'OK, it's alright, I just wanted to see what our dog would do'!

OTL, gave them one of his 'Serious Looks' and said 'That's what happened to Wilma and she was killed by the dog!'

OTL was not a happy TL!

Bozo's R Us!

As there were loads of strangers OTL was keeping a good look out for stray woofers and didn't get his camera out. It will be better next week 'cos all the strangers will have gone back to work!

OTL has been working on The Missus's YooToob film and is desperately trying to loose twenty seconds so he can get it into the fifteen minute time slot!

Trubble is, TM just will gas on and on!

The sun brings them all out!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Wot a super sunny day!

We have been out for walkies, we've been chasing rabbits, digging holes and woofing at strangers!

This morning first thing we were down on the beach, I went in for a paddle while Old Two Legs played about taking pictures into the sun, which shouldn't really come out but..........

Can you see the geese flying in formation?

The ferrets couldn't see them and neither could we, until OTL processed the photo!

Talking of not seeing, there has been a massive growth in the weed population along the Sea Wall and it not only hides the ferrets but today it almost hid Holly Chops!

 All the ferrets thought it was a great laugh seeing Holly trying to hide 'cos they can hide quicker than a flash!

One more step and I'll disappear all together!

 Even Miss Wendy claimed she could disappear behind a blade of grass!

Now you see me.

 And................................................

Now you don't!

 Eric decided it wasn't worth hiding 'cos it was too hot to play silly games and instead climbed up onto OTL's shoulder to watch out for strange woofers and Nargles!

It's really too hot to run around!

It was amazing just how many Two Legs there was on the beach and along the Sea Wall.

OTL reckons it is the fact it's 'Half Term' plus the sunshine and the fact the Beach Cafe was open that brought them all down to our beach today!

Just wait until it rains, they will all stay at home then!

Good news, it's Friday tomorrow, the sun will still be here and we are expecting the tide to be right in so I can have a swim!

Lost Polly Chops and OTL has been 'Engineering!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

What a day it's been!

First we hear that Auntie Chris had a successful operation on her knee and they even had her out of bed and tearing around the ward on a zimmer frame!

Wonder what foot she uses on the brake pedal!

Old Two Legs has been working hard on the caravan, getting those little jobs done that start off being 'Easy Peasy' and somehow develop into a major engineering project!

Now, take the cap on the water tank, it was leaking  but there were no signs of why. So, starting at the cap he started to unscrew the whole system. Finally he found it was the cap that had developed a crack in the moulding. So, get on the Internetty and order another. He found the manufacturer and the list of spare bits. He located the cap but found that the description was for a 5" cap. Armed with his trusty 12" engineers ruler, he measured all over the cap but couldn't find any dimension that was 5"!

No 5" here either!

So, that means a long telephone discussion with the man on the telephone followed by a long email with loads of pictures of the cap and the tank and the labels on the side showing batch numbers and other stuff!

While this was going on, OTL was 'Mending' the broken cap by drilling holes at the ends of the crack and then filling the crack with a water proof glue that should set hard in 24hours!

The new cap should be here on Friday, with any luck!

Now if you thought that was a bit long and boring, I won't tell you about the central heating duct under the bed or the catch in the cupboard or the water filter and the leak on the water pump and finally, the slat on the bed, that's all another story!

With all that going on he didn't have much time to spend on the beach. Holly and I were sniffing while OTL was on the phone chasing caps and even the ferrets got fed up listening to him going on about 5" dimensions that weren't there!

What OTL hadn't noticed was a strange woofer on the beach. Now Holly saw that the ferrets were having a dig while OTL was somewhere in the clouds going on about inches. So, it was up to Holly to make sure this new woofer didn't get close to our ferrets 'cos we remember what happened to Wilma when she met u p with a strange woofer!

In the end the woofer wandered off in the opposite direction, so all was well.

Well, that was until we came across little Poppy, sitting in the middle of the path, with none of her mates or even her Two Legs!

Seems she got a little lost while she was having a sniff and everyone had wandered off!

We stayed with her for a while and OTL gave her a stroke and a tickle on her tummy until her TL appeared over the top of the hill to collect Poppy!

So, we just come in from the caravan and OTL is down stairs eating dinner while I get full use of the laptop!

It's all happening today!

Yo Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a day we have had today, first of all Auntie Chris has gone into hospital for an operation on her knee. She is hoping that it will cure the 'Slice' she has developed. (Technical Golfing Term!)

So loads of licks and wags and get out soon!

We met up with some of the lads this morning and young Poppy wanted to stay with Old Two Legs so she could have her tummy tickled but even before she could give OTL a lick on his nose she had her lead clipped on, which stopped her from rolling onto her back!

This is just Not Fair!

 Yesterday it was super sunshine and warm balmy breezes but today it was cloud and rain! In fact today we had 1.5mm of rain through our rain gauge!

Still got Sheerness but the sun has gone!

Holly and I helped OTL in the caravan. You see the light switch in the shower unit had died so OTL had to get a new light and today we fitted it in. It involved drilling and screwing and sticking with water proof gunky stuff!

Of course, The Missus wanted to inspect the job and insisted on wiping her fingers over the water proof gunky stuff so she had gunky all over her fingers!

Wot a plonker, well that wasn't exactly what OTL said but it was close!

Then, this afternoon TM got OTL to set up the camera and lights so we could do a demonstration on card making. You should have heard her!

But Dahling, Just What is my Motivation?

As OTL said, I'll motivate you with a tube of Gunky Stuff in your ear if you don't get going!

Well, that didn't work and in the end we had to postpone filming until Thursday 'cos we 'Lost the Light'!

This film making business is soooooo Technical!

I'm off to see what is for dinner!

and TM came to!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a start to the day! It was all mist and foggy and of course, when we got to the beach, Sheerness had gone, again!

Guess wot we lost?

Wendy was most upset that Sheerness had gone 'cos just doesn't like loosing places she says hello to every day, well, most days when there's no mist!

Back home Old Two Legs worked his tail off cleaning the cages before he headed off to the dentist where they stabbed and drilled holes in his teeth and the filled it all in again!

What was worse, they charged him a fortune for the pleasure of hurting him!

These TL's are really strange!

OTL came back home just in time to take us down to the beach again and this time the mist had been blown away, Sheerness had returned and Eric had a great time digging in the sand!

Just for a change, The Missus came with us down to the beach 'cos she wanted to do some shopping, not on the beach but at the Co-op!

I think I'll dig another hole!

 Now, did you know it it 'Half Term'? That's when all the Mini TL's stop going to school and spend all day riding around on their bicycles!

We met up with loads of them and of course, they all wanted to stroke the ferrets!

We couldn't hang about too long 'cos OTL had an appointment with the 'Professor' at the hospital to find out if they had sorted his nose out!

The results were that his nose is working OK now but the inside of his nose is 'Wonky'!

Holly says that has always been the problem with OTL and it's not only his nose is wonky!

So, that's it for today, we lost and found Sheerness, OTL lost more money and found out he was 'Wonky'!

You just couldn't make it up!

A Laid Back Lazy Sunday!

Yo Woofers!

Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Don't you just love Sundays like this? I mean, it has been sunny, in fact so sunny that Old Two Legs didn't wear his hat at all today!

He went out with just a jacket, no hat, no gloves!

You can tell the Spring is here!

Even Holly was in a good mood!

We met up with Bert down on the Sea Wall and Holly played up to Bert something rotten!

Poor old Bert is in love with Holly but all she does is to play the Tart and give him the run around!

Just a weeny Kiss for Bert!

First she ran up to him and planted a kiss on his nose then, before he had a chance to return the kiss, she ran around the back of him, just beyond the length of his lead!

Come on! Lets play on the beach!

Bert was all ready for a game on the beach but OTL gave a whistle and called Holly to stop her winding up Bert any more!

Sorry, gotta go OTL calling me!

When we got down to the beach at midday there were loads of cars in the car park, in fact we had never seen it so full.

The sunshine certainly had brought out the Two Legs and loads of woofers!

Of course, OTL had to be very careful to keep the ferrets out of harms way from strange woofers and that stopped him from taking picture of us playing on the beach!

On the way home we dropped into see The Missus at the village hall and while we waited, who should come out to see us?

It's Auntie Rosie!

Holly and I got a stroke and a cuddle and Miss May not only got a cuddle but OTL got his camera out to take a picture!

May gets a cuddle from Auntie Rosie!

Eric got a cuddle as well but OTL missed that picture!

Tomorrow OTL has another trip to the dentist in the morning and a hospital visit in the afternoon!

Nothing to really worry about, the dentist is going to mend a filling that is 'Wobbly' and the hospital are checking up on a minor operation OTL had a while ago!

It's a good job it's only the dentist he has to pay for!

Sunshine and Ferrets!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Wot a wonderful day! We have had a bit of cloud and a bit of rain, and a load of sunshine!

First thing this morning the clouds were still here from yesterday but it didn't feel cold at all.

Morning on the estuary!

Freddy was trying his old trick of getting a lift by rolling on his back and pretending he had broken a claw or even a leg.

This time however, he tried a new excuse...........

Oooooooo! I've found some poo to roll in!

Old Two Legs didn't fall for that one either!

Back home Freddy and Wendy had to wait a bit longer to be let out of the travelling cage 'cos Holly Chops was in need of some Butt Washing 'cos she had a grumbly tum.

Hurry up, we want a wee!

 Mind you, after a wee they had a great time rampaging around the house while OTL cleaned out their cages.

Lunchtime it was great down on the sea wall, the sunshine and the gentle breeze made May and Eric think about staying on the beach and doing a bit of sun bathing!

Did you bring the Factor 35?

That didn't go down to well with Holly and me. It's OK going for a walk with them but they do tend to hang about!

While they were messing about on the beach Holly and I were half way up the grass path, watching the world go by!

Shall we go and sit by the car?

 Today The Missus had one of her Master Classes, so she came back all sort of worn out but happy with the results, a card thingy with what OTL calls 'Plenty of Boketh' !

One of her girls called in 'Etherial' but we know that only OTL is allowed to do that!

Archie Babe was off to the vet to get his butt sorted, sometimes we wish Holly would do the same 'cos she can get a bit 'Whiffy' when she gets the Grumbly Tum!

Tonight TM has promised OTL a Kofti Kebab so we are getting ready for some serious mugging, mind you, I don't know what it will do for Holly's Tum!

Swimming and Lost Ferrets and Photo's!

Hi Woofers!

It's Friday and we're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a glorious day it has been! Loads of sunshine, warm weather and loads of fun on the beach again!

It started off this morning with Miss Wendy throwing a strop and getting all upset about having her photo taken. It seems that Old Two Legs hasn't got a 'Keeper' photograph of Wendy and he wanted to get her picture, side on with a very shallow depth of field. So, when OTL stuck his camera into her face she didn't like it and just turned away and wouldn't look into the lens!

Don't Care, Don't want my picture taken, I haven't brushed my whiskers this morning!

We all said she looked great but it was no good, she wouldn't smile for the camera!

Freddy offered to have his picture taken but only if OTL would carry him back to the car, inside the ferret bag!

No way!

The idea of the morning walk is to get some exercise and sitting in a bag was not exercise!

Never mind Freddy, at least you tried!

Lunchtime May and Eric were out and we all had a good run around on the beach, which is good news as far as I'm concerned 'cos I could see the sea rushing back to shore and with a bit of luck I might even get a swim!

Miss May didn't show off about having her photo taken but she was more interested in running along the Sea Wall, so every time OTL pointed the lens in her direction, off she went at sixty miles an hour!

OK, make it good 'cos this is the only one I'm posing for!

Holly Chops was sitting on the Sea Wall puffing and blowing about the time it was taking getting a picture of an 'over sized rat'!

What she didn't know was that May had abandoned the photo shoot and was more interested in sampling bit of Woofer Leg!

Now then, I fancy a bit off the flank!

It was only the fact that OTL had hold of the ferret lead that stopped Miss May getting a nibble of a Holly Dog!

Poor Eric was laughing so much he fell over backwards and had great trouble getting back on his paws again!

I didn't mind the delay 'cos I could see the tide heading for the shore!

We arrived at the bench on the hill and OTL called me over to him, me, like a plonker, thought he wanted to check the harness or maybe give me a stroke and tell me wot a good girl I was.

No such luck, the crafty OTL clipped my lead on and walked me past the spot where I could dash off down to the beach and into the water for a good splosh about!

There are times when it just don't go right!

When we all got to the car OTL loaded Holly and I into the back of the car and popped the ferrets in as well. He unclipped their leads and set about pouring some fresh water into the drinking bowl. It was at that point Eric decided to climb over the top of May to have a last sniff out the back of the car and as he did he fell out, onto the ground!

Eric was all paws and tail and in a bit of a panic as he landed on his back and was just about to run off under the car when OTL dived down and picked Eric up in his hand, just in time!

There were too many cars and Two Legs in the car park for Eric to safely have a dash about!

Back he went into the travelling cage and off for home!

After all that excitement, we all had a snooze while OTL finished off his work on the computer!

Saturday tomorrow! No work, just fun and games!
