It's not so cold today!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back with you!

Well, it's been one of those nuffin days, you know, go out first thing and there was nuffin new, just wet and damp and soggy sniffs!

Lunchtime was better, mainly 'cos we went down to the beach again and did the 'Long Walk', just to get some exercise!

One good thing was that after the weekend there were some new sniffs that were very interesting! 

This one is strange, looks like it was a big woofer!

That rig was still there and it makes a change to see it from a different angle.

It looks like a rocket from this angle!

Looking like a rocket it's left to us to work out where it's going! We decided in the end it was waiting for someone to light the blue touch paper, just like a Whizz Bang!

OK, so Old Two Legs wants to get all arty!

Holly and I were more interested in the rubbish bin as it contained lots of foody sniffs from the weekend but OTL started to play with his Artistic side, boring or wot?

We walked all the way around the sea front and even went down on the beach for a roll and a dig and on the way back we had to go past the Two Trees which looked different from another angle!

I mean, Rigs and Trees all from different angles? Wot a day!

Now, we've not seen them from here in a long time!

OTL has been busy this afternoon, seems like one of his customers has had a big order in and needs some of OTL's gear so it's been all telephone calls and emails!

He is such a busy lad!

Sleepy Monday!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendey and Eric de Ferret.

Well, after that very busy weekend we were glad to have a little extra time in bed! 

The football field is still a big soggy mass of mud poo and water! There was a bit of frost on the grass, nothing too much, just enough that you can feel it through your pads!

Back home both Holly and I got our paws washed and some of the tangled hair cut out from around our legs. All of which made me very tired, so I spent the morning cuddled up to my squeaky toys fast asleep!

I Got an Ellyphunt and a Mouse and a Penguine that farts!

On top of all that I also got a rawhide chew to sit on as well!

Lunchtime we headed off to the beach for a run around but on the way Old Two Legs stopped to take a picture of the flooded marshlands, soggy or wot?

You could float a boat down there!

Down on the sea front we spotted the drilling rig was still there getting fixed up. I would have thought it had finished all the servicing and whatever else they are doing to it and pushed it out to sea!

Still there!

We met up with some lady Two Legs who remember OTL having ferrets and asked after them. OTL said that both ferrets were asleep in their beds in his office. Now I always thought that us woofers got our fair share of snoozing but a ferret is a real expert at sleeping.

I think we should change his name to Eric the Snooze!

It's getting noisy in our house, everyone keeps faling out of bed, well Eric and OTL do!

We see the sky!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again!

I must tell you, last night we managed to rob Old Two Legs of a few of his King Plawns and Plawn Clackers!

We left the bubbly alone and the whisky cos the bubbles get up our noses and the whisky doesn't taste very nice!

We had some left-over rice with a bit of sauce spread on our doggy dins, which was rather nice and we managed to finish it all off!

Normally we leave eating until bed time and only if we are hungry!

This morning there was some rain in the air, not the snow promised by the weatherman! Mind you, it was still quaggy in the old golf course as well as the football field. There were motorcycle tracks all around the golf course and across the football field, tearing up all the grass and leaving nasty furrows everywhere!

Lunchtime came and the sky had turned to a cloudless blue so we headed off to the beach and to catch up on the sniffs. Well, there is bound to be some new ones after Christmas and at a weekend! 

Here is another new one!

The first car park was full to the maximum so we went around to the other car park by the football stands.

I think that most of the visitors were watching the ships go by but there was a number walking along the sea wall.

A few but not as many as we would have thought!

Mind you, when we got into the forest there were no woofers or Two Legs to be seen!

Not a leaf to be seen where once there were green!

Well, that's what OTL said as we walked through the forest, he was trying to be lyrical but it was lost on us!

There was one tree that was covered in fungi, mostly small bracket type fungi so we reckon that bit of tree is going to be dead soon!

Looking at the cracks we reckon water has got into the trunk and is rotting the tree from inside!

Back home Holly got her legs and paws washed to get rid of all the mud tangled up in her hair. Now Holly don't like water and spent most of the time dancing around the shower while OTL was cleaning her legs and after cleaning and trimming off the clumps of hair, she was let loose to race down stairs and cuddle up to The Missus who is always a soft touch for a cuddle, even if Holly was still wet!

Happy Birthday OTL!

 Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

Well, today is Old Two Legs birthday, we know that 'cos a load of 'Happy Birthdays' have come via the FaceAche thingy that The Missus plays with and OTL is not allowed on!

Holly and I woke him up with a woof and a lick behind his ear followed by his birthday sone wot we made up yesterday!

Now you can all join in, after twenty-six, ready? nine.............seventeen........twenty-six!

Did you know your wellies smell?

Have you walked in some dog poo?

Happy Smelly Birthday to yoooo!

There now, that sounds respectable, and we managed to sneak in a reference to poo! Are we good or wot?

This morning on the walk we found some snow had settled on the muddy bits and some of the grass, not very much but at least there was snow!

We were expecting a little more but so far it has only rained.

Now, Auntie Jane sent a present to OTL of a box of Whiskey Gummies containing Bourbon and Whiskey Sour and a Manhattan plus a Whiskey and Ginger!

OTL has had a couple but says he can’t taste the whiskey! Let's face it, anyone who spells whiskey like that has got to be suspect!

As he was opening the box there appeared another package that when you opened the strip down the side, the box exploded and showered everyone with a sort of confetti, Eric nearly jumped out of the cage with the shock!

Tonight, we have ordered up a Chinese Takeaway and The Missus has put a bottle of bubbly in the fridge to chill down to an acceptable temperature!

OTL is as pleased as punch to get a bottle of the real Single Malt from Martin and Lisa and the boys and TM has added her bottle of Malt Whisky as well and now OTL says that as long as he doesn't drink it all too quickly, it should last him until August!

Another surprise for OTL, his glasses came in yesterday and he went down the optician to get them installed on his ears! Now he can see the keyboard and also the computer screen!
