Roast Lettuce and Toasted Cucumber.

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

It's been a jolly day today. We saw Archie Babe on the Zoom Thingy that The Missus was using with Archies Two Legs. They were sloshing the glue again and making a mess everywhere!

Mid-Morning the delivery men arrived with the new cooker and Old Two Legs set about installing it.

It was all classy black and shiny with a ceramic hob that glowed red when it was turned on.

TM couldn't wait to try it out so we had an early lunch and TM cooked up some salad!

You know she really spoils OTL sometimes!

We left Eric in bed and headed off down to the sea wall, the tide was on its way out so there was no chance of a swim.

We met up with a Labrador who we have met before 'cos he had escaped out of his house and decided to have a roam around the forest!

Come on, let's play in the mud!

 

I managed to escape him and I had a really good roll in a sniff that I reckon tasted like crab!

OTL will love me when he gets a sniff of this well rotted crab!

The only problem was, OTL thought the sniff was horrible! I got called a 'Stinky Woofer' and OTL wouldn't walk next to me!

I'm feeling un loved!

We had a rest on the bench and OTL pulled a sneaky on me and managed to grab a couple of snaps!

I said that they would be better if he had 'Smell O Vision' in his camera cos I could sniff the crab blowing on the wind!

I can sniff it blowing over my shoulder!

And if I turn my head, I can sniff it over my back as well!

That's one of OTL faults, he just doesn't appreciate a well rolled sniff!

See you tomorrow, TM says she is going to have roast porridge tomorrow morning, she will make it in her new oven!

The Oven Move.

 Hi Woofers,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

We have had some fun today; Old Two Legs has been crowbarring the cooker out of its hole in the kitchen today.

You see, finally The Missus has broken the cooker by burning the salads she cooks for OTL's dinner!

Mind you, this oven has been around for a good few years now and the glass on the doors have got a thick layer of burn stuff, so thick you can't see through the glass!

it was late this afternoon that the oven finally fell out of the hole and we were able to take it out the front of the house to await collection tomorrow.

The new cooker is all black and shiny with heat resistant LED lights and ceramic hobs that they used on the heat resistant shield on the NASA Shuttle Spacecraft!

Another plus is that it has two ovens so you can burn stuff in one at red hot while the other glows white hot, for salads!

Eric didn't come with us at lunchtime, he and Wendy were fast asleep with their paws up in the air!

Talking of ferrets, the new Ferret Food arrived today, the normal food being discontinued. They both have tried the new food and declared it as being 'acceptable' which is just as well 'cos OTL says he won't be buying any other food for them!

Luck for them the 'death date' on the food is sometime in 2022 so it should last!

We had a leaflet shoved through our letterbox today advertising a 'Look after your pet' service. The idea is that when you are away, someone will come into your house and look after your pet. You know, walkies, feeding clearing up the poo!

Not that we need that service 'cos if we go out for the day everyone comes along. OTL showed the leaflet to TM and she says she knows the Two Legs who is offering the 'Pet Sitting Service' but as OTL says, 'we don't need a pet sitting service, we can sit on our own pets just as well'!

Snoozy Sunday.

Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

We do love Sundays, I mean, what day of the week do you get an extra half an hour in bed all cuddled up and doing deep snoozes!

Even the ferrets get to have an extra snooze!

Miss Wendy, after pinching the Brambles Biscuits, heads off to the pile of doggy towels and buries herself then falls asleep with a full tummy! 

It's only when Old Two Legs digs her out, she opens half an eye and pretends she is a Dormouse!

 

Miss Wendy the Snooze!

When she first got out of the cage, she got a slurp of Dook Oil, a sort of Ferretone type stuff. While she was slurping away OTL decided to give her claws a trim, both front and back.

Normally the claws are clipped in double quick time but today she decided to have a game with OTL and she struggled to get away. Now when a ferret gets angry, they wag their tail like a woofer being offered a tasty treat!

Now, bearing in mind how old she is and the fact she was angry it surprised OTL just how fast she wagged her tail!

Mind you, it didn't last long and, in the end, she got her claws clipped!

Once she was put back to bed OTL went hunting Eric. He was found in The Missuses stock room, curled up in a corner guarding his squeaky balls!

You know, he didn't even wake up when OTL picked him up and put him back on his hammock!

Turn the lights out please, I need a snooze!

Being a Sunday, TM was on the Zoom Thingy with her glue slapping mates, making as much mess as she could and gassing with the best of them!

Lucky for us we had time for a pre walk snooze before OTL woke us up with the question, 'Who Wants to go Out?'

He does ask some daft questions sometimes!

Eric was still a bit sleepy but he had a run in the football field and along the beach before crawling up into OTL's arms for a rest!

You know, I could even do with a carry here!

 Being a weekend on a Sunday in particular, we had the sight of a speed boat thingy race alongside of the sea wall. Eric called them a rude name before heading off to the car!

 

Eric says they are a bunch of '^1@}8&#:/' well, that's the best interpretation of Ferret I know!

 Tomorrow's Monday, back to normality!
