It's Here! It's Here! It's Here! It's Here!

Hi Woofers!

The Sun. It's Here!

It's Here!

It's Here!

And so are we, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

We got up this morning and it was just a little misty type cloudy in the sky but as Old Two Legs said, "It will clear!"

So, off we went down to the beach to see what the sun has brought out!

OTL found a 'Goats Beard' and it is the first one we have seen this year!

First this year!
Little April spent most of the time in the ferret bag looking over the top and blowing raspberries at Holly and I!

We met up with loads of woofers and of course, OTL was having to carry both May and April 'cos we don't trust any woofer who is off the lead, you know, OTL says that he doesn't even trust us!

So, the Page 3 Girls got to be carried all the way back to the bench before they got a chance to use their paws!

Back home we enjoyed some time in the garden getting some rays.

Lunchtime saw us down the beach again and the tide was at the turn and was just a little too rough to go in for a deep swim, so I just got my paws wet!

This is far enough!
Mind you, if OTL had thrown a stick I might have had a try to get it!

Maybe, maybe not!
Fred and Wendy had a rummage around in the Sea Kale and we spotted a third plant that had poked it's head out from the stones on the beach.

In a couple of years we could have the start of a Sea Kale forest!

Because it was so warm Freddy kept on stopping for a breather and of course, he kept on insisting that he needed a carry!

OTL said that Freddy needs exercise so Wendy walked along side him and kept on licking his ear every time he stopped!

Come on Freddy, not far now!
They were both trotting along and Wendy started to tell Freddy that he was a big strong ferret and Freddy, being a bit of a soppy ferret agreed with her!

'Good' says Wendy, 'you can give me a lift back!

Come on Freddy, get going!
Poor Freddy, he did try but after about six feet or so he collapsed and rolled over onto his back!

Exhausted!

Back home we all headed for our snoozing bed and both ferrets were asleep in no time flat!

Holly and I decided to hit the garden again enjoy the sun on our tummy!

OTL decided to play around with the Tilt/Shift lens again and chose the pond as a subject!

Yeah, not bad for an amateur!

OK, so, OTL had to black out the table full of socks that were drying on the table and cover up the washing hanging on the rotary clothes line!

Thank gawd for Photoshop!

Amazon delivered the two maps of Yorkshire that OTL ordered the other day and the first thing he did was to see where the caravan site is!

Now we are waiting for the 'Photographer's Guide to the Yorkshire Dales' which has some interesting places to photograph, well, it save him having to wander around looking for these super places!

So, we expect OTL to be studying the maps and planning days and mornings and evenings and maybe a night expedition!

Sounds like it is going to be fun!

TM will also be a 'Happy Bunny' 'cos she has arranged to do a couple of Master Classes that were sold out in twenty four hours!

Right, we are off to see what is for dinner.

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties sitting in the sun down there in the south near the seaside. Hasn't it been a lovely day. So glad you all got to enjoy it down on your walk. Love the photos. Poor Freddy, he can't win, if he walks nicely Miss Wendy wants a piggy back, no wonder he gets sore little legs. My mum has been to Yorkshire, once, she went to Thirsk and stayed in a hotel right on the edge of the moors, she says it is very pretty. Apparently, the Yorkshire vet has his surgery in Thirsk and that's where James Herriot used to practice. So, if you get any problems you can go there and get treatment and maybe get even more famous and be on telly. Mind you they might have to rename it, creatures great and small and famous. I didn't notice any of the frogs posing by the pond. My mum saw lots of little frogs in our garden yesterday when she was showing a man who she wants to come and clear some of the shrubs out so that it's more safe for me. Hope you get some decent muggins this evening. Have a good evening and hope the weather stays nice for tomorrow. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Yay! The sun has got its hat on...in Kent. and what a lovely day it looks too. The photos are great today. OTL did a good job on the pond. I did look hard, but I couldn't see Trevor or his friends. Poor Freddy, I was thinking that Wendy was doing a good job of keeping him going up the hill when all of a sudden she jumps on his back. I'm not surprised he rolled over.
It sounds like OTL is taking his holiday preparations very seriously. Mum says that he must have been a boy scout! Dad says that you will be staying only an hour away from us. Mum is going to go to one of TL's masterclasses while you're away too so I hope you get to see some of the beautiful places that we go too. Mum helped me to google the stepping stones. They look quite a challenge. I'm sure that you will manage them but I don't think my little legs would manage them. Yorkshire is very beautiful and OTL is sure to find some wonderful things to take photos of. There are lots of arched big bridge things that steam trains go over on a railway called the Carlisle to settle railway. The trains come through our village and they are go chuff, chuff, chuff. My mum managed to get a photo once so OTL will have to get a timetable and find a good spot to take a photo.
Must go now as it's bed time so that means teeth chews!!! Love, wags, sniffs and licks from Izzy xx xx xx xx
I have news of Bella my soon to be little playmate. Mum and Dad TL went to see her yesterday and apparently she really liked them and kept climbing on their laps...I may have to teach her to queue and wait her turn... She is full of energy and likes bounding around like a little rabbit. I hope that she will like to play tugs because I love playing that but Hamish only wants to play with the TL's so it will be nice to have someone to play tugs with me. She also plays pat-a-cake with her paws - just like me - so we may have a lot in common. We have to wait 4 more week and she would have had both her injections so will be ready to come and stay with us and then go out for walks.
I gave mum and dad's trousers a good sniff when they got back and it was a sniff I knew and liked because I had stayed with Bella's family in January so I feel like I know her already. Mum put some photos on Faceache of Bella. She is just a bit bigger than your hand. Oh, I nearly forgot to tell you about her little white spot. That has got a little bigger and she will have a few more black patches in her fur which will look like black and white stripes as her fur gets long and grows down her side. My coat changed colour too. Apparently it is the same with all Yorkshire Terriers. Haha! just thought, Hamish and my breed comes from where you are going on holiday.
