Guess Wot we did today?

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

We love Sunday, it's one of the days in the week that we can sort of.........

Snooze!
Or, we can do what Holly does best...........

Snore!
If you could find a ferret it may surprise you to find them..........

Having a cuddle and a Snooze!
It is just the best thing, a snooze. You sort of drift off and dream about all the things that make you happy, like food and games and chasing cats.

Then along comes Old Two Legs, waving our harness and lead and squeaking 'Walkies!'.

There are times I wish he would have a snooze!

Today we went out at lunch time with Monty and Wendy, Monty was all up for a run 'cos he hadn't been out for a week or so and as he said, he was getting a bit 'Cage Crazy'!

Wendy said it was good to get a sniff of fresh air!

To begin with they both hid in the bag but soon Monty was sticking his nose out and sniffing the air!

OK, OTL, I'll get out here if that's OK with you?
The wind was blowing, reducing the air temperature but it wasn't too bad and the clouds looked pretty!

Remember when it was Summer and all hot?
Miss Wendy was a bit slow to start but she got going and chased Holly all the way back to the football field!

........99....100....coming, ready or not!
Monty was more interested in sharing our sniffs but he found some Weasel sniffs and wanted to go off in a different direction!

It's there, I can sniff it, I really can sniff it!
Back home it was all back to the bed for a well earned snooze before dinner. Best of all it's chicken today and we may even get it a bit earlier than normal!

Tomorrow is Monday so that means back to work guarding the house. Holly and I still do our duty at night, marching around the house with our tails up straight and singing our 'Guarding Song'. It's normally around half way around the house that OTL wakes up and suggests what we should be doing is creeping around, quietly, just like the SAS! (That's Special Animal Service!)

Maybe that's why we are always in need of more snoozes than OTL?

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well snap, I did just the very same as you did today. First when my mum went to work I was guarding then a little while later my boy came down and we snuggled for a snooze on the sofa cos my boy isn't very well and my mum told him he shouldn't go to work, so guess wot, well he didn't. Then my mum came home and me and her had snuggles on the sofa and a very nice snooze. It's really quite cold outside and the air is very damp even when it isn't raining. Me and my mum have been snuggled up watching Xmas films. Now when I went out for my first poo this morning it was still ready wrapped, which was alright cos if my butt gets itchy, it helps relieve the itch, but my next poo was normal so now if I get an itchy butt I have to scratch it myself. My mum cooked a nice fat chicken today, she said she's going to forcefeed my boy chicken soup if he doesn't eat something soon. I'm not sure if he's going to be home tomorrow, my mum said he should stay home but he's a tad stubborn so he might go to work. Love the pictures today, you all look like you're enjoying your snoozes. Now the trick with the midnight patrols is to pretend you've been doing them but secretly you don't get out of bed, perhaps take it in turns with Holly chops to keep one eye open and one ear listening then if you hear or see something then you charge at it, you probably won't need to though cos I'm sure that OTL goes round and checks all the locks before he goes to bed. Have a lovely evening all, stay warm and snuggly, enjoy your snoozes and hope the muggings are good. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx p.s. Mrs Sue, I'm not a naughty boy I just have to investigate everything in case it's a burglar pretending to be crafting junk. xxxxxxxxxx

  2. Well I am late reading your story because I have been out to dinner, roast pork, roast potatoes, carrots and gravy, I gave the sprouts to Michael, then we had apple and blackcurrant crumble with custard, it was very good and we ate it all. I did think of you two poor starving woofers but I need not have worried as you had chicken and Archie never starves because he eats everything. Lovely snoozy pictures, do what you do best is what I say, nice to see the little ones able to sniff the fresh air. We even had some sunshine today for a while but then it went hiding away again and refused to come out. Hope all the ready wrapped poos have finished for young Archie, he won't learn even with his delicate disposition so no good trying to tame him. You all get on with the guarding and I shall wait for Mondays report. It is twelve minutes past midnight so TM will soon be getting up!! xxxxxx
