Hello Woofers!
Daisy & Holly here
in coldest Romney!
Wot a change!
From sun shine and blue
sky and warm balmy breezes, today when we got up it was all clouds
and chilly winds and drafts coming through the air vents in the
caravan!
Still, no snow
forecast, so we are lucky for that!
We had our normal walk
in the field but didn't hang about too long, the wind seems to
whistle across the marshes here and get into places it should never
get!
Uncle Ian and Auntie
Karen, (The Cat People) arrived last night, but they didn't bring
their cats with them! Shame, we would have enjoyed chasing them
across the fields!
There is one motor home
here with a cat on board, cocky little pussy, while we are inside or
on our lead, it comes and sits a few yards away and tries the old
'Hairy Eyeball'.
We woof and make
suggestions on what we could do to it but Old Two Legs won't let us
off the lead to prove it!
One day, one day we
will!
OTL and Ian took us
down to the beach.
Bearing in mind how
cold it has been today, we had the whole beach to our selves!
No one was anywhere to
be seen!
The Beach all to Ourselves! |
OTL and Ian got all
done up in their 'Cold Weather' gear for the walk, (wimps) but Holly
and I had a great time playing 'Chase The Ball'
We saw some Brent Geese
fly past.
Loads of Brent Geese. |
There were loads of Sanderlings running in and out with
the waves looking for food.
Sanderlings on the March! |
With this wind, both
OTL and Ian were pretty useless kicking the ball, they either missed
it altogether or kicked it in the wrong direction!
Can't kick to save his life! |
Back home it was Liver
for dinner tonight, plus whatever we could mug from OTL or The
Missus!
I think it may be a
late night 'cos they have got the DVDs out and are working their way
through the 'Harry Potter' series.
Pity we can't wave a
wand and make the weather warmer!
Never mind, at least we
can cuddle up to OTL to keep warm!
See you tomorrow and
fingers crossed for some sun shine!
Bye bye for now.
Luv,
Daisy & Holly
Love the Sandlings on the march till they came up to the great big Gull.
ReplyDeleteYou were lucky on the beach I had to WORK! in the cold all day. Glad you are all having a good time give our love to Karen and Ian. XX
It was cold here as well, Ian came prepared with his big coat and all you two had were those little short furry jackets. Cats don't chase balls like dogs so Ian can be forgiven for not being able to throw a ball very well. At least OTL remembered to bring the ball today otherwise where would you have been?
ReplyDeleteWere TM and Karen busy throwing glitter around while you were out? XX
