Daisy & Holly back again!
Wot a Saturday!
We were up good and early this morning, we could sniff the rain in the air, so we wanted Old Two Legs to get us out earlier than normal. It didn't work, he got up late!
In fact it was so late that the rain passed over us and we went out when it had finished rather than before it started!
Back home to some breakfast and a snooze before the F1 Qualifying.
What a wash out!
To tell the truth, we got so bored, we chased OTL out of the house for our midday walk along The Sea Wall!
OTL spotted there was a new bloom about to burst on the Spiky Leaf Sort of Thistle Type of Plant, so he took a shot of it, we think it looks a bit strange and unless we told you what it was I don't suppose you would have guessed it was a budding bloom!

are we there yet? |
OTL and I had a laugh about that and I said that it would be The Missus who would be asking that question!
Flushed with success, OTL spotted another flower and got all arty again.
Looking down the middle of a bloom. |
Then he spotted some movement on the plant next to him and took this picture.
Spider on a prickly plant. |
Once we got to the top of the hill, we saw a cruise ship going up the Thames, Holly said that if all the people on board would get onto the deck, then all together shout.......'are we there yet' then it would sound just like a fog horn!
All together now.............'are we there yet?' |
She gets some strange idea's sometimes!
See you tomorrow, if the rain doesn't wash us all away!
Luv,
Daisy & Holly
Oooo, a Spider, can you catch that Daisy?
ReplyDeleteI used to call those Fairy wotsits, " Granny Pops out of the Bed" plants coz it you squeezed the bottom the top white bit would jump up in the air.
We nearly ran over a Rabbit today, well we saw one close up. XXX
Daisy you are teaching OTL to use that camera very well, I especially like the centre of the bloom and the spider, well done. Tomorrow F1 and Wimbledon so the beaches will be quite, take your wellingtons and a plastic bag for the camera. xx
ReplyDeleteThe spider look good and so does Holly waiting for you both.
