It's us again, Daisy, Holly Snowflake and Mr Brambles!
Last night was nice and cool here in North Kent and at three thirty this morning when Holly fancied a wee, it was a clear sky with loads of stars twinkling away!
Old Two Legs didn't seem that interested in the stars 'cos he banged his head on the door and was watching his very own 'Star Show'!
This morning Mr Brambles came with us on our walk along the Sea Wall, Holly and I were off after the rabbits.
Holly had to go back to OTL 'cos her front paw was sore and hurting. OTL managed to find the cause, it was a grass seed stuck between the pads on her paw, Holly says it was nearly as bad as a thorn!
That removed, she was off again chasing rabbits with me!
Mr Brambles was not too happy 'cos OTL had forgotten his 'Ferret Sized Lead' and he had to put up with using our one!
What A Drag! |
I don't Believe It! |
Mr Brambles was having problems 'cos when it was dragging on the ground he was being dragged to one side all the time.
He said it was exhausting and every so often would do a 'Wiggle' and get the lead to fall on the other side of his body!
Now that worked, up to a point, 'cos now he is going along tossing the lead from one side to the other but he was walking like a snake!
....and now to the Right! |
The Missus took us out at lunch time, over the Farm again, loads more grass darts and I still was not allowed near the rabbit field!
This really is too much! We'll be glad when OTL finishes his work and we can get back to proper walkies!
TM wouldn't take Mr Brambles or Snowflake out with us which was a shame 'cos there are loads of sniffs all over the place!
Instead, they spent the afternoon snoozing!
Expert Snoozing, Ferret Style! |
TM has told us that we have got to put in an appearance at her Master Class on Saturday to say 'Hello' to everyone and that includes Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
You can imagine what it will be like when we walk in, Dog Strokers to the right and Ferret Fanciers to left.
OTL always points out to people who feel the need to stroke a ferret, 'This end is the Bitey End and this is The Strokey End'!
You'd be surprised how many people forget that, but they forget it only once!
No sign of OTL yet but we can sniff dinner being cooked, so we're off to see what we can mug.
Bye bye for now, see you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
Poor OTL, he does suffer for his little darlings. Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday, I'll have to stand in the middle for cuddles with you and Holly, strokes with Snowflake and Mr Brambles ...... and maybe some tcp for poor OTL's head. :) xxx
ReplyDeletePoor OTL, this blog is getting more like "The Trials and Tribulations of a Doggy Ferrety Man" he has so many knocks, bangs and falls not to mention nips and tucks. Lovely to see you out, the rabbits will wait for when you can chase them, I expect they have been practising. Soon have the double ferret lead, that will be fun and I hope Hollys' paw is not sour now. xxxx
ReplyDeleteThis blog is getting like Stan and Laurel " another fine mess you got us into OTL".
ReplyDeleteOTL is getting old and his mind is starting to wander or the smell of the bin men is effecting him.XXX
