Wednesday is for Swimming, Almost!

Hi Ho Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Hasn't it been warm today?

We were out good and early this morning for our run, as normal, Snowflake wanted to be carried to the beach. You know she may be fast going home but she is a right Diva wanting to be carried all the way down there in the first place! Mind you, Old Two Legs secretly enjoys the cuddle he gets from her, well, it makes a change from the nips he used to get every time he put his hand near her!

We had a great time on the beach, Holly and I were running up and down playing chase while Mr Brambles got stuck into some serious digging.

There is holes and there is HOLES!
Holly and I offered to help him but he 'Woofed' us off, in ferret!

Gerroff Me Hole!
We went back to playing chase and at one point I got the ferret lead from Mr Brambles caught around my leg which made me yelp and it dragged Mr Brambles along the sand!

OTL soon sorted us out and there was no harm done.

Holly said she could see it coming and just couldn't look!

I Just Can't Look!
Mr Brambles trotted down to the rock pool and washed his paws before starting off for home.

Off for a Wash & Brush Up!
Mind you, when we got home he was soon flat out on his cushion snoring his head off!

I'm Knackered!

We got some super steak today, makes a welcome change from that nasty Doggy Scoff!

It didn't take us long before we too were crashed out on the bed enjoying out morning snooze!

Lunch time, the tide was right in and I went for one of my 'Deep Paddles' in fact, I got so deep in the water that only the top of my head stayed dry!

Oops! The Bottoms Gone!
OTL was throwing a cork in the water for me but it soon drifted away and I had to let it go!

This is Super Cool Today!
Holly left me to get on with swimming and wandered off to have a chat with the fishermen, we found her in the shade of the bench discussing the tackle set up they were using.

I didn't know she was that interested it fishing!

Well, I prefer the Pennel Rig sea fishing rig but with two swivels and a half ounce weight myself!
As you would guess, OTL was snapping away at the insects, which, because it was midday and very warm, they were flitting about all over the place!

There was the Common Carder Bee.

I'm not Common, I'm Special!
Then OTL spotter a Chaser Dragonfly, but he is not sure what Chaser it is.

It has two spots, one on each wing, so, is it a four spot or is it a two spot? A quick look on the Internet has confused him even more!

So at the moment, unless you know what it is, it looks like we have a possible female, two spot chaser dragonfly!

Confused? Well we are!

Back home to a snooze, only to be woken by a delivery man bringing some ferret nuggets in a Ten Kilo Bag!

I don't know where they put it all, mind you, they do poo a lot!

I wonder if they do a Ten Kilo Bag of Chews?

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles (Still Snoozing!)

  1. Wow, what a lovely, lovely day. And Daisy it looks like you managed to say out of the brown stuff :)Love the piccies, you do look quite the bathing belle. I bet that Holly was only chatting up them fisherman for a sniff of their sarnies. Keep a close eye on that Mr Brambles or he'll be digging a whole new channel tunnel. I bet he and Snowflake will soon get through that bag of nuggets. I should ask OTL to get a sack of doggie treats in the same size. Glad you girls got a decent meal today :) xxx
