It's us, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
Good news, Old Two Legs had a quiet'ish night last night, low noises of coughing and wheezing and an occasional moan but we all got a good sleep. Well almost.
Yesterday afternoon Holly and I got a Chicken & Rice Chew which is a big favourite with us. Holly finished off her chew, with a little help from me, and when we went to bed OTL picked up my chew and put it on the office desk. Now it must have been a concern to Holly 'cos she couldn't get to sleep worrying about the chews safety. So, at three forty five, Holly did her 'I want attention' woof and OTL thought it was because she wanted a wee. However, when she got to the bedroom door, she turned left, instead of right, and went into the office, sat down where the chew had been placed and looked up at it. Now, even OTL couldn't miss that pointer!
A bit later the sun woke up and the day started!
OTL said that he would risk taking us all out for a run along the Sea Wall and off we went. Snowflake did her normal trick and took up residence in OTL's pocket, Mr Brambles went exploring and found that he could climb up and get between the hood on OTL's fleece and the hood on his waterproof coat!

Snowflake decided that the woof was not very friendly and nipped him on the nose!
Oscar jumped back with a yelp and sat down on his backside looking all hurt and unsure of what had just happened!
It was a good job it was just a nip instead of a full blown bite or Oscar might have gone home with a bit missing out of his nose!
Still, he has learnt an important lesson..........You don't mess with Snowflake!
OTL is still feeling grotty and has retired to the bed to snooze all afternoon, not that we minded 'cos it is pouring with rain here and there's no way Holly and I would fancy going for another stroll along the Sea Wall!
Let's hope OTL improves or he will be spending Christmas cuddling a box of tissues!

I'm glad OTL got you all out for a walk, loved the pictures. Well done Snowflake for standing up for yourself, these dogs get a bit too cheeky at times. I hope OTL enjoys his afternoon snooze and feels better for it. I have a small suspicion that maybe you and Holly had a little snooze as well this afternoon. The weather is horrible here as well so Archie and I have been busy sorting out my crafting stash, Archie pinched a Belgium chocolate that resulted to a call to the vets as his tummy is a bit delicate. Thankfully, the vet said no need to bring Archie in, Archie was disappointed, I wasn't. Well happy muggings late girls, don't forget to snuggle OTL so he can sweat out his cold. :) xxx
ReplyDeleteHi girls and Mr B.. sorry it's been a while but my Missus has been stressing out over Christmas, don't know why but that's TLs for you. Sorry your OTL has been under the weather and TM isn't feeling too clever either, hope they're better for the festivities. Have you got your socks up yet, mine is hanging on the doorknob of one of the cupboards, it's filling up nicely but I can't get at it yet. Those ferrets have an easy life don't they .. carried down to the beach.. clever old Brambles getting himself in OTL hoods where he could see everything that was going on .. and Miss Snowflake knows how to sort out a cheeky dog even if he is bigger than her and woofin in her face. Awful wet & blowy here in North Wales it's so hard to find the sniffs when it's wet & windy and my OTL always hurries me along cos I think he's afraid he'll get washed away in the rain. My TM is getting him an exercise bike for Christmas ... whatever... she obviously doesn't think he's getting enough exercise walking with me... I better watch out or next thing she'll have me on one of those treadmill thingys ... wouldn't mind but only exercise she gets is lifting the glue bottle and sprinkling glitter everywhere. Ok my furry friends I'm off cos I think TM is in the kitchen, In case I can't get on the computer again before Christmas .. have fun hope you have loads of pressies and treats xxx Jasper and his missus...
