Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
It has been one of those 'Good' but 'Expensive' and 'Oh No!' days today!
Well, it started this morning when we all went off to The Beach for our morning exercise with the ferrets. Now, you know Old Two Legs normally takes a few photos of the ferrets digging holes or chasing us dogs or trying to climb up OTL's leg to get back in the Ferret Bag if it gets wet or cold. Of course, then there is the Rock Climbing and Rabbit hunting and the Ferrets donig Dog Hunting as well. All captured on a small 'Point & Shoot' camera OTL has had for many many years!
This morning, after putting the ferrets down on the sandy beach, he reached for his camera to take a shot of Miss Snowflake doing her ' Moon Walking' down the beach to the tune of 'I'm Walking Backwards to Christmas!'
As soon as he switched it on he knew there was something not right, the screed that shows the menu and a 'Live' picture of what he is going to photograph wasn't working! Like, nothing, blank screen, zilch, dead, gone, finished!
He switched it on and off a few times and then started mumbling curses under his breath!
No pictures of us and the ferrets!
What was worse, when he got back home and took a look at it again, it still wouldn't work, even after OTL had given it a 'Good Talking Too'!
The rest of the morning was spent looking on the Internet for a replacement. Expensive these cameras and it was about then that we could see a little tear in the corner of OTL's eye!
OTL is not a 'Happy Puppy'!
Lunch time we went out down to the beach again and such was the distraught in OTL that he even forgot to take his big camera to take picture of Holly and me chasing rabbits!
Mind you when we got back, the men had all finished the drive and it looks dead smart!
OTL took a picture this morning as they were half way through laying the blocks, very clever the way they do it you know!

OTL was not having a good day!
This afternoon he has been looking on eBay for low cost 'Point & Shoot' cameras but the ones that are 'Low Cost' look well used and likely to die and the ones that look good are so expensive that we reckon his Money Purse would have a heart attack if it was asked to shell out that sort of money!
Holly has suggested that OTL practises drawing with a pencil and paper, at least you won't be able to break the paper!
So, I wonder what he will do now? We will have to wait and see!

Oh no, poor OTL, poor point and shoot camera .............. hmmmmmmmm........ now I know a little secret......hmmmm......... do I spill the beans .........hmmm I think the cause is good enough to spill a bean or two ..........., now not naming any names, but, someone in your household had a little bit of luck yesterday...... now I wonder if that lucky person, would be kind enough to make a small donation towards and treat for poor, broke, sobbing OTL. Maybe if that lucky person just bought him a packet of tissues to dry his poor red eyes. I mean us fans can't go without our daily dose of photos of the famous 4 can we. The drive looks lovely, well worth a tear or two. Sorry I missed a pic of Snowflake moonwalking. It sounds though as if everyone else had a good day. Give OTL some extra snuggles tonight and might I suggest that TM might get some as well, then maybe, who knows ;) xxxx
ReplyDeleteI think all of you have to be extra healthy and make sure that OTL doesn't have to pay for any of you to go to the vets after you've eaten something funny.
ReplyDeleteIs there such a thing as a "camera fairy"? When a little child looses a tooth they put it under their pillow and the "tooth fairy" comes along and swaps the old tooth for a nice shiny coin, if OTL puts his old camera under his pillow just perhaps, just maybe the "camera fairy" will bring a nice shiny new one. Worth a try.
ReplyDeleteYour paving looks really plush, they are clever the way they build it into a nice pattern at least OTL could show us that. We must have our daily fix of the four gorgeous ones strutting their stuff around and about. What will you do, I think drawing is out of the question, OTL must take the video or the big camera around with him so that we don't miss out. Give him a lovely snuggle tonight and help clear his mind to work out just what to do. xxxx
