Grass Point Again!

Hi Woofers!

McDaisy, MacHolly, Miss MacSnowflake and Mr McBrambles back with you again!

Last night there was no rain, just a bit of wind to blow the awning about! Mind you we slept well, MacHolly and I both got the best bit of the bed and refused to move when Old Two Legs crawled into bed!

He had just finished off his bottle of Jura Malt Whisky and was feeling 'Sleepy'!

Both ferrets have been running around the caravan earlier and were just worn out, so they hit the sack and crashed out!

This morning we were up a bit later than normal 'cos everyone decided to have a lay in 'cos we're on holiday!

Our walk was down by Loch Frisa again but this time, because the water had all finished coming down off the hills, it was almost back to it's normal flow rate!

When we came to the crossing, I jumped straight in and was across in no time.

This is the way!
MacHolly, she had a little paddle the headed for the stones again! You know, she can be a right wimp sometimes!

This is Dangerous stuff you know!
Because we could cross the stream, we had a three mile walk! We even stopped and had time to watch the world go by from the top of some rocks by the path!

Better than Paddling in the stream!
It was good the OTL didn't find any Ethereals to photograph!

This is not Ethereal!
Mind you, on our way back MacHolly still had the problem of crossing the stream!

Going Back Again!
When we got back to the van The Missus reminded OTL that she wanted to make some cards today so he and us had to 'Ugger Orf'!

The ferrets said they would stay in their Snowy Heights in the awning as it wasn't cold or damp and they wanted to get some fresh air!

We decided to head for Grass Point and have a game on the rocks and the beach. OTL said that there was a beach we could go swimming off!

The first thing was saw was a 'Cross', which was a strange thing to see on the rocks and even at Grass Point, I mean, there wasn't even a church there!

Funny Place for a Cross!
After a sniff around we started to charge about all over the place and OTL had to keep up with us to stop us getting into trouble!

Mind you, he did stop off to photograph a flower we found growing between the rocks!

A Rock Plant?
Then we found it!

The Beach!

As you would guess, I was first down the beach and into the water!

Chaaaaaaarge!
MacHolly came down the beach at a run and went into the water, up to her knees, then stopped!

Thus Far and Far Enough!
It's strange that I like water and MacHolly doesn't!

Mind you, OTL found we had left our 'Mark', paw prints in the sand!

We Wuz Here!
Mind you, once the tide came back in they will get washed away!

Back at the caravan TM had done her cards and was ready for dinner. The ferrets got their run around the field and were soon back in the caravan having a game of chase with OTL.

Not sure what the weather is going to be like tomorrow but if there is no rain we are off to another beach we have visited before, but this one has got lots of rocks to climb on!

See you tomorrow!

McDaisy, MacHolly, Miss MacSnowflake and Mr McBrambles!

  1. What another lovely day. Tsk, MacHolly really doesn't have a sense of adventure like you Daisy. Loved all the pictures, that beautiful little flower on the rock is gorgeous, but then the pictures of you and MacHolly are just as beautiful. I bet you and OTL were quite pleased when TM told you to ugger off. I wonder how much rest the McFerrets got with her sloshing her glue pot. So glad the rain has kept away. When are you considering returning home? Archie has a little parcel he wants me to post for you. I expect OTL wasn't too bothered about where he slept if he'd just finished his bottle ;) Hope he enjoyed it. Look forward to hearing further adventures of your wilds o the North safari. xxxx

  2. You have had a lovely day, that beach and water look so inviting and well spotted on that beautiful flower so amazing that it finds somewhere to flourish. I hope TM didn't finish her bottle while playing with the glitter, goodness knows what she would produce, she certainly will not show us! McHolly really doesn't like water, OTL should throw his cloak down. Were there no notices around the cross, it seems a strange place for it and looks well made. We are off for a few days so I may need to play catch up again, in the meantime carry on enjoying yourselves, all of you have fun, that's what it is all about. xxxx xx
