Us again, heading off to the wilds of North Yorkshire, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
We were up good and early 'cos Old Two Legs wanted to get an early start to beat the traffic on the M25, Fat Chance, the M25 is always busy!
Still, we were out down on the beach good and early, in fact we were so early we even saw the Early Wormy Man!
It's The Early Wormy Man who catches the worms! |
Mr Brambles wanted to see the Wild Life on the Moors and has bee reading up on what he can expect to see!
Come on, back home, we're late! |
Kissy Kissy! |
Gissa Lift OTL, I'm getting too much attention! |
So much for the 'Early Start'!
We stopped a couple of times on the way up so we could have a wee and then some lunch!
I managed to mug a whole burger off OTL, well he had two in his Super Duper Double Whopper!
Holly didn't even try, you see she had sniffed and chewed on something on the beach yesterday morning and was complaining that her tummy was 'All Bubbly', and we know what is coming soon!
Even The Missus was saying that Holly kept of doing Whiffs!
Well, we finally arrived at the caravan site, just as it was getting dark, so OTL was planting the caravan and putting up the awning and building the ferret cage in the dark!
He managed to get it all done before bed time and before bed Holly was showing signs of the 'Grumbly Tum'!
As we expected, there is no phone signal here at all, I mean nuffin!
TM was fiddling about with her Gissmo Phone and said that she was getting a Wi-Fi signal strong enough for OTL to do something with, so we know what he's going to be doing tomorrow!
OK, that's it for today, see you all tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
Hi Woofers!
It's now 'Tomorrow'!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again with some more fun and games!
You remember me telling you that Holly and Mr B had been doing some research on the North Yorkshire Moors? Well, they have a long list of places to go and stuff to see. We even have a long list of animals we might see on our walks across The Moors!
We were out this morning walking across some fields along a Public Footpath. Well, it's not like Scotland where you have 'The Rights To Wander' (providing you don't damage anything), not here it seems!
Now, just look at this super view.
Moor'ish! |
Permissive?????????? |
We just can't get used to these new bylaws!
Holly 'Grumbly Tum' has kicked off this morning, but it still didn't stop her from pinching half of my chicken dinner last night!
Mind you, OTL's burger filled me up, so I wasn't too put out!
Holly was telling us about the Moors Monster that is supposed to live in the hills around us.
According to Holly, it's called The Eee-Bee-Goom.
It is a bit like the Highland Haggis, but smaller, nastier and with Sharp Teeth!
Holly says it is found in the undergrowth and jumps out at you when you don't expect it!
The ferrets say it has nothing to do with them but they were keeping a close eye on the bushes when they went out for a walk with OTL!
Is that one???????? |
Is it a Eee-Bee-Goom Fungi? |
By the way, the Internet Thingy is available on the caravan site but it comes in from next door! By the time it gets to us it is all weak and wobbly, a bit like Holly, so we keep loosing it but OTL reckons that it is better than having to go into town and eat tons of Cream Cakes and drink gallons of Hot Chocolate, plus the fuel for the car!
So, we seem to have it all sorted out this end, but don't expect any phone calls!
See you all tomorrow, Eee-Bee-Gooms permitting!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
Do you know, Arch thought he heard a toot, smelt ferret and heard some woofers singing Ikley Moor on Monday, was that you lot passing by on the A1. Glad to hear you all arrived safe and hope that Holly's grumbly tum clears up quickly, it must be a bit hard living in a caravan with a whiffy dog needing to go out too often. It's good to hear that you can get on the net at the site. I hope that if you do meet any eee bee gooms they turn out to be friendly ones. Keep a look out for the why I mans as well when you're out and about, I think they're friendly though. The pictures are lovely. Enjoy yourselves up there and looking forward to all the news from you. Love, licks and wags from little (good boy at school today) Arch xxxx
ReplyDeleteWonderful, you managed to write your blog, well done and OTL is clever to know that is was a fungi and not an Eee-Bee-Goom, personally I would steer clear and not trust it, you never know. When will Holly learn not to eat anything that gets near her mouth and now you all have to suffer her grumbly tum, hope it settles down soon. Lovely pictures, that footpath sign is very strange, I have never seen one that says Permissive, who do you ask? The Wi-Fi sounds a bit watery, hope OTL doesn't loose any more hair trying to get it to work. Good story today, looking forward to hearing more from you soon, love to you all, keep TM under control, I know how she likes to take control, let her think she is in charge but we all know who is really Boss. xxxxxx
