Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here in sunny North Kent!
Well, we were up sort of early this morning so we could get our morning walks all done and help Old Two Legs to pack up the last bits in the caravan.
The ferrets went off for a 'Swim' in the wet grass and had a super time snuffling and ferreting about in the fallen leaves!
We went up on t'Moor and was surprised top see Kofte & Shish Kebab waiting for us on to of the hillock!

So it was, as they turned to go we heard one of them call back 'Eee-Up- Chuck!' and that was it, they had gone!

Off we went and we headed off home.
On the way there was sun shine, rain, Heavy Rain, Very Heavy Rain and Loads of Traffic!
Finally we made it and since five thirty we have been unloading the caravan and getting the ferrets sorted out and all the stuff put back in it's rightful place, well, almost!
Now we are just too tired to do any more, so it's off to bed about nine thirty for an early night and an early morning so that OTL can catch up with all the stuff that has piled up over the time we have been away!

Glad you're back home safe and sound although I bet the Eee Be Gooms and the Why eye's are missing lots. How lovely was that, that Shish and Kofte came to say bye and wish you a safe journey home. I'm not sure I could have torn myself away from all that lovely scenery. You've all had some lovely experiences up there. I bet your little friends on the sea wall will be queuing up tomorrow to hear the tales. I bet you are all very tired. Enjoy a good nights sleep so that you'll be able to tell us how glad your friends are to see you back. Make sure that OTL shuts the cage on Snowflake properly tonight, just in case she finds her way to the hole in the ceiling. Arch is sure he heard lots of singing about 3.30 this after noon, he's been listening out all day and sniffing the air at the bottom of the garden. Have a good snuggle and snooze all. ReplyDeleteGlad everything went well with your journey home and I hope TM had a final count up before you set off we don't want any stowaways of Shish and Kofte, I know you only deal in twos but you have to draw the line somewhere!
