Some more fun!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma here again!

Well, another year over and what have we done?

Sadly we lost both Snowflake and Brambles this year and although Old Two Legs was very upset we have to be thankful that in Brambles case it was Old Age and not a prolonged illness. The same goes with Snowflake, she was a fighter until the end and she went slurping her most favourite Ferretone treat, and she managed to do a good wee and a poo on the vets table.

That's the way to go girl!

On a happier note, we were joined by the sisters Miss May and Miss April who sadly didn't get on with sharing space with Snowflake and Brambles, so they got a cage all to themselves!

After loosing Snowflake, brother and sister Fred & Wilma arrived in our house via the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue Centre. Fred & Wilma had been passed between a number of rescue centres that couldn't cope with them! I mean, a Hamster Rescue Centre is hardly set up for ferrets and the chance of a ferret getting Hamster Burgers isn't  what the centre had in mind! So, Harrietsham took them and thought, 'Who is in need of a pair of loving ferrets?'

OTL!

That was it, as soon as he saw them at the Harrietsham Ferret Show OTL went all soppy and they came home with us!

Although they don't get on with May and April, well, May and April don't get on with Fred & Wilma, so it is down to separate cages again and OTL has two cages full of poo to clear out each morning!

We have banned him from going anywhere near a Woofer Rescue Centre, we are not sharing him with anyone else!

We are super grateful to the Allhallows Croppers who have supported the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue with a donation from the Craft-A-Thong thingy they have run to raise money for the Demelza House Charity.

A smashing bunch of ladies!

Fred & Wilma have been up to visit them when they held their monthly 'Crop', I think they made a lot of new friends and there were loads of cuddles for Fred!

As it is New Years Eve, we are having a 'Relaxing Day' mainly 'cos OTL is still suffering with his 'Man Cold', he's getting better but is still keeping everyone awake with his coughing!

We were out a bit late but as it is holiday time we didn't mind and even the ferrets fell asleep on the way out to the car park!

Are we there yet?
April was doing her normal thing, complaining that the sand was just 'Too Wet!'

I don't do damp sand!
We all had a jog back to the car and Holly says OTL should change his name to 'Old Long Legs!'

Look! It's a Giant with a Camera!
Fred and Wilma came out at lunchtime and enjoyed the sunshine. Freddy Boy actually walked a bit further today, but not much!

He walked all the way up the grass hill, sniffin' and ferreting about but when he got to the top it was back to normal.

OK, now do I get a carry?
OTL said that he had been a 'Good Boy' and carried him right up to the bench at the top of the hill. It was all downhill back to the car, so off went Fred, not exactly trotting but a steady waddle!

I finished off my Doggy Scoff and got a Bonio, Holly was still showing off and refused to eat the scoff, so she didn't get a treat!

I might go back later and have a nibble at her scoff and get another treat!

It is all helping her to loose a few pounds and she has to get slimmer for the summer!

Off we go now and before we go we would all like to wish you a Very Happy New Year and a Big Thank You for reading our blog!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

Wot's a Ferret?

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma here!

Well, it looks like we have missed 'Frank' and only got a few drops of rain mid afternoon. Mind you, the afternoon walk was missing a ferret, Freddy, he just wouldn't wake up!

Wilma was OK for a walk but she stayed cuddled up in Old Two Legs arms until half way through the walk. Holly and I were glad she wanted to keep walking but even so, we had to slow down a bit 'cos her legs are shorted than ours!

Oi! Wait for me!
Which we did of course, in fact we hung about so long that OTL had to come back and call us!

We got to the top of the hill which leads down to the car park and Wilma was getting excited 'cos it is all down hill from there and it always seems easier going down hill!

I like this 'cos it's all downhill!
This morning first thing, it was all grey and dismal, not the sort of day that makes you feel like having a fun time!

Not exactly Exciting is it?
Both May and April were a little slow on the morning walk, until we got to the hill, then they tried to catch us up!

Come on! Catch us if you can!
When we got home there was a list of jobs that had to be none.

Even OTL said that he wasn't looking forward to today's jobs 'cos it starts of with the VAT return!

What ever that is!

Holly and I had Lambs Heart this morning so we didn't mind the weather 'cos we headed for the bedroom for a snooze!

So that was it for today, us snoozing, OTL working and The Missus is getting ready for the next 'Master Class' she is running. So, there in her workshop there is a load of glue and glitter sloshing about and Holly spotted a large dollop dripping from the ceiling!

We think it is possibly a bit dangerous going in there at the moment!

OTL says that maybe tomorrow Fred & Wilma might get a walk first thing to make up for his lack of exercise today!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

Almost back to normal!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma here!

We have been tearing about all over the place the last few days. It doesn't help having Old Two Legs sneezing and holding his head!

Mind you, he is better today and is now down to twenty five sneezes an hour!

We were out good and early this morning 'cos OTL woke up with the sneezes and couldn't get back to sleep again!

His new camera did very well with the sunrise over Sheerness. OTL says he hasn't done anything to the picture, just cropped it to size!

Not bad, not bad at all!
May and April even had a game on the beach and were digging in the sand!

Yes dear, it's called Sand!
We stayed until the sun came up and both ferrets had a rummage through the grass until Miss April called out that she was being attacked by a an over sized Woofer!

It's found me, I'm Doomed!
We all looked over to where she was hiding and what did we see?

It was Barney doing his 'Pointing' bit!

Bless My Tail, Wotisthiss?
We all had a bit of a laugh and in the end April came out of the grass but insisted that OTL carry her for a while in case Barney came back for a second sniff!

Back home again and it was Poo Shovelling Time for OTL while the ferrets rampaged around the house.

The Page 3 Girls are out first 'cos they are both messy in their cage and OTL has to wash both floors and the Poo Pots!

After they go back, out come Fred & Wilma.

Now Fred & Wilma start off upstairs investigating all the nooks and crannies in OTL's office and The Missus's 'Store Room' and this takes some time 'cos it is really messy in there!

After that is all done they are off downstairs to see TM.

OTL sets about cleaning their cage but he has only to clean the ground floor 'cos they only poo on the ground floor.

However, both Ferd & Wilma are much larger than May and April and their poo's tend to reflect their size and OTL has to use a plastic shovel to clear up what they have miss directed and landed outside the poo pot!

Believe it or not, it is quicker to clear up than the Page 3 Girls and OTL gets time to meet up with Fred & Wilma down stairs for a game of 'Chase' and 'Carpet Surfing'!

Freddy just loves Carpet surfing and hangs onto OTL's fingers and gets to race around the carpet!

Now I'm sure you have never seen a ferret do carpet surfing before, so, we got TM to film OTL and Freddy playing!

Freddy goes Carpet Surfing with OTL

You can see, Freddy just loves that game and Wilma enjoys rolling onto her back and having her tummy tickled as she is pushed around the carpet as well!

Lunchtime both Freddy and Wilma were out with us but Freddy was up to his tricks again, this time he said he had a tummy ache and needed a cuddle!

OTL told him that the reason he had a tummy ache was because he keeps dragging it along the ground!

I think my tummy looks impressive like this!
We reckon it is impressive but we don't fancy the thought of it dragging on the ground, which is why Freddy wants a cuddle!

We are glad to hear that young Nipper is settling down, who knows, he may even get to go out for walkies, if he promises not to eat the other Woofers he meets in the park!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

Intruder Alert!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

Well, today has been all messed up!

Old Two Legs has got himself a 'Man Cold' he reckons he picked up from some snotty child at the Panto he took the Grandchildren to! He now has lost his voice, can't call us and we are reduced to listening for whistles and trying to work out what he wants.

Then we totally ignore him!

We were up very late this morning and even the ferrets had their legs crossed!

A quick run around the Sea Wall and back home to get all the jobs done and after all that, he goes off leaving us all on our own!

A Couple of hours later back he comes, with The Missus, carrying a big box which he says is a Sound Bar!

Now we are not sure what it is, so Holly takes a look at the manual that comes with it.

Holly reckons it is a bit suspect 'cos in the list of components there is a Sub Woofer!

That's it, we both go looking in the box for this Woofer OTL is trying to introduce into the house, I mean, he didn't even ask if we wanted another woofer to live with us, I mean, it's crowded enough with four ferrets and us two woofers!

He has been fiddling about with wires and Optical Cords and HMDI leads and, well, we didn't understand it all, and we had all the instructions!

After he had plugged it all in and switched on the system he spent ages 'Programming' it.

Nothing, no sound came out of the Sound Bar, Holly said he had to input some more data!

Then, suddenly, and without any warning there was a big Whumph!

It burst into life and Bing Crosby was singing about a Great Party Tonight!

I must say, it did sound good and even Holly said that it was better than normal.

But what about this woofer?

We had a good sniff about and discovered a big black box behind the TV and on the side it said 'Sub Woofer'!

Well, that was it, New Woofer Found!

TM took a film of OTL and Freddy playing 'Carpet Surfing' but for some reason we can't get it transferred to OTL's computer. So you will have to forgive us today, no photo's but we will try again tomorrow!

Bye bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

It was the day after Christmas and all through the house..........

We were going potty with the balls and toys we got on Christmas Day!

Yo Ho Ho Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Freddy & Wilma!

It has been a fun day, we have all been having games with our new toys. The ferrets got a ball on a string and the ball has a furry tail! They have all been chasing it and even Freddy Boy managed to catch it!

We have named that game as 'Chase the Squirrel'!

The ferrets have run off with the string balls and have hidden them under their beds!

Miss April has been spending time in her second favourite place.

Her most favourite place is the second draw up 'cos it has a blanket in it!

April having fun!
Miss May is always looking for her 'Treats' which of course includes a bottle of Ferretone!

How do you get open?
On our morning walk Old Two Legs has been trying his Christmas Present and all the pictures are taken using his Coolpix which not only takes pictures but it also does video!

This is a 'still'
The ferrets were having fun in the Sea Kale again and Miss April asked if we could dig it up and plant it in our garden but OTL says it needs a special environment, like a beach, to grow properly!

That was OK really, they will have to play with it on the beach!

Pity we can't take this home!
Holly and I had to wait while they had their rub down in the Kale, Holly was not happy having to wait.

Why do they take so long?
To wile away the time Holly and I had a sniff along the beach and made sure we kept our tails pointing in their direction and send them a message!

Do you think they will get the message?
Now, this next bit you would have had to look at the blog on a computer, not an iPlod Thingy 'cos it wouldn't play it, but, I have uploaded the film to YouTube!

Click on this link to see Freddy and Wilma!

Freddy Boy tries to get a lift!

There you go, how was it for you!

We are going to have some fun with this video thing on the camera and I know it isn't super dooper HD type stuff but it will show us 'Moving'!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

Boxing Day on the move!

Ding Dong Christmas has nearly Gone!

It's Us again!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

Well as you know, we have been away having a super time at Martin and Lisa's with almost all the family. Today it was pack up and back home before the rain got us!

It has been raining on and off since we got to Martin's and the park we went too for our 'Walk' really was more like a 'swim'!

We have been travelling for most of the day and of course when we got home we had to unload everything including the ferrets!

They had a super time 'cos everyone wanted to see them and walk them around the garden!

Holly, Cookie and I went to the park 'cos it would a bit too much for Old Two Legs to try to control three woofers and two ferrets on his own!

Now we are back and settling down and playing with our presents!

Sorry, no photo's today, but we should have some for you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma!

Ding Dong Woofers!

Merry Christmas from Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma!

We have had a super day today, Santa Paws has left us loads of goodies like string balls we can chase and the ferrets got fluffy squirrel tails on a string and stick so Old Two Legs can drag it around the room and the ferrets chase and ambush the tails as they go around corners of the furniture!

Holly and I also got chews and stuff like that and you know we even got a Rawhide Chew all to ourselves!

We even had a spare chew for Cookie the King Charles Spaniel Thingy!

Cookie is second from the left!
This is one of our favorites, Martin and Paul and Holly and Me,(We are the ones with the chews!)

A Christmas Chew!
We have been at Martin & Lisa's today with all the family, that is OTL and The Missus, Children, Grand Children and even two Great Grand Children!

Auntie Lisa said she couldn't remember where she had put The Bird!

Lucky for us, she was joking!

I remember where I put The Bird!
It has been so noisy here that at times both Holly and I went off to the bedroom to hide!

We got all worried when someone said that Santa Paws had been so Holly and I went off to finish our sleep before coming down stairs again!

Santa's Been!
We all enjoyed our Christmas Dinner and Holly and I even got some of The Bird and some Roast Beef!

Almost finished!
We are trying to upload but the Blog Thing is refusing to upload so we may be a bit late, sorry.

Mind you, the Internet is very dodgy here and at the moment we are not sure if we can even upload the blog today!

Well, as we have been writing this blog the Internetty Thing will not save and publish!

So it looks like we are in the poo!

Trouble is these out of the way backwaters are soooo sloooow on the Internetty!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma

It's Christmas!

Hi Woofers!

Christmas has now started and us here are wishing you a very Merry Christmas from Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma!

We are looking forward to waking up tomorrow to see what Santa Paws has left us!

Holly is looking forward to some food, as normal! The ferrets want some toys to kick around the cages and Miss April wants them to be really noisy!

Now, remember OTL's effort at getting a photo?

Finally we decided to sit still for a moment or two, that is Holly and me 'cos the ferrets all legged it and didn't understand what OTL was trying to do!

They have never heard of a Christmas Card, so this year we have let them off!

From all us here in North Kent
to All our Woofers mates and fans out there.
Thank you for your support and comments.
We wish you a peaceful and Merry Christmas

Honest, we weren't looking at a nibble!

Next Stop Summer!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma!

We have been rushing around today getting everything ready for Christmas!

The Missus has taken delivery of stuff from the Tesco Man and Holly has been doing her 'Sniff and List'!

It all started early this morning, we got down to the beach before the sun got up.

Where is the Sun?
The sky was light but we had to wait for the sun, so, OTL switched the camera to 'Flash' and chased around looking for May and April!

Who did that?
He nearly tripped over Miss May but he managed to get the picture!

Miss May was a bit difficult 'cos she was running around the beach sniffing the sniffs!

Is that you Sis?
Then we saw it, the sun getting up a bit earlier than it did yesterday. Now when you thing about it, once we got this Solstice thing out of the way we can look forward to sunshine and bright skies with a chance of getting in the water for a swim!

There is the sun!
Old Two Legs was out getting a couple of new tyres on the big car. That cost a fortune and his wallet is almost fading away!

He got back in time for our midday walk with Fred and Wilma. As we headed down The Sea Wall we saw young Dave out for his walk. He said hello to OTL then had a super game of 'Chase' on the grass. We let Dave win 'cos he doesn't have any other four legs in his house so he gets all excited when he meets us!

Your Too Fast For Us Dave!
Fred and Wilma we a little concerned when Dave was chasing about, they both stood still and watched Dave going potty!

He has just got to get dizzy at those speeds!
Both ferrets insisted on getting a carry to the top of the hill and then they walked all the way back to the car.

Fred tried to get an early carry by pretending he had cramp in his back leg. Well, that was his excuse but Wilma told him to 'Stop Playing Silly Ferrets'!

Honest! It will work if you don't keep tickling me!
Back home we got lambs heart for dinner and both Holly and I got a carrot afterwards as a treat!

We have been looking at the news and see that Izzy and Hamish's town is back in the news with flooding. TM told us that there is no report of flooding in his house, except from under the bath!

Claws cross for the plumber man to get it all fixed soon!

We are off now to try our paw at some mugging but I don't think we will have any success 'cos Holly hasn't lost enough weight!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

Fred does it again!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma back again!

It has all been going on today, Old Two Legs has taken the old bookcase apart, with the help of a small hand axe!

It was then taken to the dump and together with the glass shelves and mirror back it was consigned to the crusher!

There is no way he is going to be able to keep his books in the lounge any more!

We were out a little late this morning and Old Two Legs was in such a rush that he forgot to check the camera until we got to the car park.

He had forgotten the card onto which the photos are recorded, so no pictures of us this morning!

OTL and The Missus have been in and out all day and OTL is getting dizzy 'cos he has been going around in circles!

The lunchtime walk was a bit late as well and it took a while to wake Fred & Wilma when we got to the car park.

The first thing they knew was when OTL plonked them down onto the grass.

Freddy took one look and commented that that 'This grass goes on forever!'

There is so much of it!
Fred is a little 'Plump' and he is not really into running, in fact, walking is a bit of a strain! He spends most of his time thinking up new reasons why he should get a lift instead of using his own legs to walk!

We have had 'Legs Stopped Working' and 'I've bruised my claw' then there was the 'Quick there is a Vulture circling'!

Today he tried another.....................................

The Harness is too tight, I can't draw breath!
OTL didn't believe him and instead of picking Fred up, he gave him a tickle on his tummy!

In the end Freddy got up and trotted down the hill towards the car park!

You have got to hand it to him, he keeps trying!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

Monday, 21 December 2015

It was on a Monday Morning when the Gas Man came to call.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma back again!

Now, if you lot out there can remember the song, then you are as old as Old Two Legs!

He told us about the song when today started to go all wobbly for him!

You see, he got this Doo Dah TV yesterday and tried to set it up on the G-Plan TV Unit he has mounted all the other TVs on over the years. This time it didn't fit, in fact the TV was just a little too big and it's feet hung over the edges.

So starts the story.......................!

The Missus starts off with suggestions that involve converting the cabinet which houses the Music Centre that hasn't been used in years. OTL hauls it across the room, dismantles the music centre and the TV fits! Trouble is, it looks horrible!

TM not happy!

Next idea is, take the top off the bookcase (G-Plan circa 1972) place TV unit next to it and place one foot on the TV Unit and the other on the base of the book case!

Haul the Music Centre unit back across the room, discuss replacing Music Centre for something up to date and terribly expensive.

OTL not happy!

Book case reduced to three parts now, OTL looses the drinks cabinet section of the bookcase and stowage of the DVDs

OTL not happy!

Base of Bookcase moved to 'Dust' underneath and remove a couple of doggy biscuits the ferrets have 'Stored' for the hungry times.

Ferrets not happy!

Holly and I inspect the pile. There was Chicken Fillets from Pet's R Us, Bonio Biscuits, High Protein Brambles Biscuits and Scientific Nodular Biscuits as recommended by the vet!

Stinky Little Thieves!
Holly and Daisy not happy!

OTL gets the base realigned and the TV Unit re-positioned to accept the new TV and the additional bits like DVD player, Sky Box and VHS Tape Player (yes, TM still watches some of the old stuff!)

TM grudgingly says she is happy.

OTL re wires the additional bits and says his back is now not hurting so much.

OTL is happy!

The stash of stuff under the bookcase is thrown in the dustbin.

Ferrets still not happy.

OTL bungs up the gap between the wall and the base of the bookcase to stop the ferrets from getting in  with any more stolen biscuits!

Ferrets now are showing off Big Time!

It takes hours to put the DVDs and the Cd's and the LP Records back in the cupboards.

OTL still has to re assemble the Music Centre 'cos he has decided that he will not be buying that big expensive system that TM wants!

TM is now showing off big time!

To add insult to injury, TM's laptop has stopped talking to the Internet and does not see any Network in the house. TM wants to shove an order into Tesco's for Christmas but with no computer that does not make TM happy!

TM is now doing the 'Deep Grumble'

OTL has taken the laptop, power supply and the mouse then heads off to his office to perform repairs.

TM is still grumbling but at least she makes OTL a cup of tea!

After an hour or two, laptop gets well and talks to the Internet!

TM now happy!

So, just like the song, It was on a Monday Morning when the TV came to call!

We managed to get a couple of runs down on the beach, Miss May did a wee in the surf and said 'Here's a bit more'!

Get out and swim!
Holly and I enjoyed the sniffs on The Sea Wall, especially after the rain had passed!

Nothing like a well washed sniff Sis!
The beach was just the same, new sniffs come in on the tide and Holly said she caught the sniff of ferret.

I didn't tell her about May and her wee!

I'm sure this is ferret!
May and April had fun in the Sea Kale, I really don't know why it is such an attraction to them, it really doesn't turn me on at all!

Can we take this home?
We are glad to hear that Nipper is settling down and started on his diet, he is down to only four Michelin Tyres a day! We know he gave up on car bumpers 'cos they got stuck between his teeth!

Archie Babe better keep his metal drinking bowl away or Nipper will eat that as well as the Kevlar Jackets!

By the way Izzy, the TV screen is great, when we see the adverts that use a woofer, Holly and I go potty 'cos we think it is right here in the room with us, it is so realistic!

We still can't get any mugging done at dinner time, both TM and OTL are refusing to give us any nibbles at all. It won't be long before we are no more than shadows!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

Dogs Doo Dahs TV or Wot!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma here!

You know what?

We've had some rain today! Most unusual, especially as we were expecting sun shine and heat waves!

This morning we were late in getting up and of course missed the sunrise. Instead we got bright skies and no woofer mates to meet!

May and April were down on the beach all sort of half asleep and looking for a lift instead of a jog along the Sea Wall!

We call it 'Doing a Freddy'!

Well, if Freddy Boy can get a lift, why not me?
Miss April was just as bad, no intention of walking and she even climbed up Old Two Legs trousers to try to get into the bag!

If it's good enough for Freddy!
To be honest, Holly and I were a bit bored with them and instead decided to dig a big hole in the sand and maybe bury a ferret or two!

Come on, it wouldn't need to be a big hole!
In the end OTL picked them up and Holly and I didn't dig the hole!

It was just as bad at lunchtime, Fred and Wilma got down onto the beach and it started to rain! Freddy Boy did some walking, well, it was more like chasing OTL to get back into the new bag and stay dry!

Because of the rain, neither of the ferrets stayed out in the rain and really, they only got a bit of a run from the top of the hill down to the car park.

The fact that it was all down hill helped Fred to keep going!

Another thing that helped was the sight of a rain cloud chasing along the shore and heading our way!

Also known as a Squall!

Back home we all got a rub down and the ferrets headed off for bed. Holly and I were straight onto our cushions while OTL and The Missus were off to get a Christmas Prezzy for themselves, a new TV!

Now, it's not as though our TV was old but the valves inside were not as bright as they were when we first got it!

So, most of the evening and late afternoon has been spent reading the instructions and not understanding a word!

There was a computer upgrade last night and for some reason the Internet has not been working, so that is another job OTL has been working on as well!

Good fun!

So, not a lot going on but whatever has been going on has taken up too much time!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

PS. We had a policeman call on us asking if we knew of and ferrets called Nipper!

As if we had any idea what he was on about!

No, nothing to with us Guvnor we are only woofers!

TM gone into 'Secret' mode!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma!

We all slept well last night, catching up on our sleep after the late night!

Mind you, it was still dark when we went down to the beach with Miss May and Miss April.

It's just too early!
Back home we were presented with a large bowl of Roast Chicken while Old Two Legs cleaned out the ferrets poo pots and any other place where they might have done a whoopsy!

Fred and Wilma were looking forward to their run down on The Beach and as soon as OTL had finished cleaning, Wilma was rattling on the door to tell OTL it was time to go!

Poor lad, he is bossed about by all of the females in this house!

Freddy Boy was having a go at getting a lift all the way around the walk. He got a lift down to the beach but started his tricks as soon as his paws touched the sand!

Honestly, this beach can get a bit ropey sometimes!
Wilma was getting tired of his tricks and when he said that the Sea Wall was too hard on his paws, she ran back and told him to 'Shift his Butt'!

Move it Freddy or I'll bite your tail!
Well, that worked for a while,  just as far as the grass path. Fred could be seen, flat on his back, paws in the air, trying to convince us his legs had seized up!

Honest! They've gone all stiff and immovable!
Poor Fred, he was getting quite upset when we told him that he was 'On His Own' 'cos there was a big Woofer with enormous teeth and a bad attitude heading along the Sea Wall towards him!

Hey! Wait for me!
He was up on his paws and waddling towards us as fast as he could go! He had to walk all the way back to the car without another carry!

We kept on telling him there was woofers coming along the path behind him!

Fred was not a happy ferret!

Oooo! Looook! Another Mad Woofer with Big Teeth!
When we got back to the bench someone had tied a balloon to the bench and it was blowing in the wind.

Holly got a bit upset with it and gave it a 'Serious Woof' to tell it to go away, which it didn't.

I pointed out that it was waving at us and it had a message on it that read 'Merry Christmas' but Holly wasn't too impressed. She said that it was one of those things that went Bang if you got too near to it and it was best left alone!

I don't care what it says, tell it to go away!
When we got back home Fred & Wilma were soon fast asleep and dreaming of nibbles and Ferretone!

OTL finally got to watch the last episode of 'The Last Kingdom' and was pleased to see that there is another series planned for the New Year!

Did you know that it is The Winter Solstice next Tuesday? It's the shortest day of the year and signals that Spring and Summer are on the way!

Maybe that is why The Missus is doing her 'Secret Project'!

You know, she has been up early and bashing away in the work room, loads of mumbling and cursing. That normally means she has gone wrong!

She won't let us have a look at what she is doing and keeps telling us 'It's Secret'!

When OTL asks what she is doing, she tells him to 'Ugger Orf!' or something like that!

We don't think it has anything to do with Woofers or Ferrets or OTL, so, what's left?

Glue Slapping?

We'll find out later and let you know.

Mind you, it is so secret that if we do tell you what it is, we will have to  feed you to Nipper!

Bye bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.
