Next Stop Summer!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma!

We have been rushing around today getting everything ready for Christmas!

The Missus has taken delivery of stuff from the Tesco Man and Holly has been doing her 'Sniff and List'!

It all started early this morning, we got down to the beach before the sun got up.

Where is the Sun?
The sky was light but we had to wait for the sun, so, OTL switched the camera to 'Flash' and chased around looking for May and April!

Who did that?
He nearly tripped over Miss May but he managed to get the picture!

Miss May was a bit difficult 'cos she was running around the beach sniffing the sniffs!

Is that you Sis?
Then we saw it, the sun getting up a bit earlier than it did yesterday. Now when you thing about it, once we got this Solstice thing out of the way we can look forward to sunshine and bright skies with a chance of getting in the water for a swim!

There is the sun!
Old Two Legs was out getting a couple of new tyres on the big car. That cost a fortune and his wallet is almost fading away!

He got back in time for our midday walk with Fred and Wilma. As we headed down The Sea Wall we saw young Dave out for his walk. He said hello to OTL then had a super game of 'Chase' on the grass. We let Dave win 'cos he doesn't have any other four legs in his house so he gets all excited when he meets us!

Your Too Fast For Us Dave!
Fred and Wilma we a little concerned when Dave was chasing about, they both stood still and watched Dave going potty!

He has just got to get dizzy at those speeds!
Both ferrets insisted on getting a carry to the top of the hill and then they walked all the way back to the car.

Fred tried to get an early carry by pretending he had cramp in his back leg. Well, that was his excuse but Wilma told him to 'Stop Playing Silly Ferrets'!

Honest! It will work if you don't keep tickling me!
Back home we got lambs heart for dinner and both Holly and I got a carrot afterwards as a treat!

We have been looking at the news and see that Izzy and Hamish's town is back in the news with flooding. TM told us that there is no report of flooding in his house, except from under the bath!

Claws cross for the plumber man to get it all fixed soon!

We are off now to try our paw at some mugging but I don't think we will have any success 'cos Holly hasn't lost enough weight!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

  1. Evening maties. Love OTL's photos today. My mum went shopping yesterday, I've had a good sniff and there are lots of goodies in there as well as 2 packets of carrots for me and I ain't going to leave any out for Santa Paws reindeer, they can get their own. You are kind to let Dave win the racing. I see Fred is still coming up with new excuses for a carry, he sure does have a lot of them. I bet the page 3 girls got a shock when OTL used his flash. I went to the vets this morning and she is quite pleased with me (well how could she not be) I gave her some xmas kisses to tide her over until I see her again. I'm still not really talking to my mum for making me have a bath yesterday. I've been helping put up the xmas decorations, not that my mum was very grateful to me. I hope you do manage a little mugging, after all it's nearly xmas. Well I'm going for a little snooze now cos all that running around with baubles and things is quite tiring. Love, licks and wags to you all. Little Arch xxxxxxxx

  2. Hi Daisy and my southern Godwin friends, Izzy here reporting from wet and windy Cumbria. All the rivers came over the roads again yesterday and lots of poor people were flooded again. All their belonging are out on the street or in skips. My mum had to swim her car through a road that was a river, then try to miss the great big holes in the road. The good news is that the plumber finally came and fixed the leak under the bath. The pipe to the hot tap was leaking so out came the saw and the floor under the bath was taken up and a new bit of pipe fitted. The porch roof is still leaking but my TL'S are going to find a big bucket to leave under it while we all travel to Kent to visit Rizzo for Christmas.
It must be a bit scary going for a walk in the dark especially with OTL flashing his camera. He should be careful because people may think he's a spy sending signals. I'm so pleased that the days will get longer now. They are even longer in the north apparently. Fred is so funny complaining all the time. It's a good job OTL had his eyes cleared so that he can see what a cheeky chappie he is. Rizzo lives across the road from a large park so we'll get lots of exercise and with no sheep or rivers in sight. Of course, I could woof nicely and get my TL'S to take Hamish and me to a beach like yours. Must go now to pack all our things. Wags, woofs and licks from Izzy xx xx xx xx

  3. Sue here, Michael has hopefully gone on a boat trip, the leaflet said to go on Facebook for their latest news but the last entry was August 2014! Due to leave in 5 minutes for 2 hours so I stayed behind, weather is lovely so paws crossed. I read your Diary everyday while Michael downloads, chooses and writes, I have given up trying to comment but you know that I am definitely here. 26th December now so Christmas is over the towns Christmas are off, a pity but we still have our room ones on. Lots of cuddles from over the big pond. xxxxxx
