A Lazy Day!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

Well, today it hasn't been as cold as it was yesterday, mind you, it's still cold enough for us! Give us some warm sunshine and a paddle in the sea!

Old Two Legs says we will have to wait a bit before that can happen!

Yesterday he ordered up a couple of maps of the area where we will be going on our holiday in May! It makes us feel better getting ready to go on holiday, even if it is four and a half months away!

However, that made us feel good, and we will spend some time with Old Two Legs planning which beaches we should visit!

We were discussing the possibility of there being loads of rabbits down in Wales. OTL said that there should be loads and haven't we ever heard of the Welsh Rabbit?

Will there be Welsh Rabbits down there?
This discussion took up a long time, we were still discussing it half way through our walk!

Holly says that she has heard that the Welsh Rabbit is a bit like the Highland Haggis except that the front legs are longer than the back legs 'cos they are always looking down hill!

Miss Snowflake said that she had heard that the Welsh Rabbits did a lot of singing and wore miners lamps on their ears!

Then she slipped off the rock and landed in the puddle again!

Oh Dear! I'm all damp again!
This sort of made her a bit upset and to help dry off she chased Mr Brambles along the beach and up the steps. She was telling him to 'Hurry Up' and 'Shift Himself' but Brambles wasn't having any of that and told her to..........

Talk To The Tail!
Back home we had chicken followed by a good snooze under the office desk! OTL spent the morning trying to find some space to store the Glencoe pictures, he had to do some major re-organising of the files in his Storage System!

Lunchtime down on the Sea Wall, the water was splashing up and over the wall.  At one time I thought OTL had a ball with him and was going to throw it in the water for me to fetch!

You Gotta Ball?
But OTL said it was too dangerous and for me and not to be a Silly Woofer!

Maybe he's right!
Holly said that if I wanted to go in the water, then she was off 'cos I could do it on my own!

No Way! I'm Off!
So, that was it, no swim! Mind you, I didn't really fancy it and I only said it to wind up Miss Silly Knickers!

Not sure what OTL has for dinner but we will have some of it you can be sure!

See you tomorrow, we're off to have our hair cut, The Missus is off to the village hall and OTL is off doing deliveries!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

  1. A lazy day is nice. So you're off to Wales later on this year, that should be go. I think they have lots of sheep there, not sure about things like nargles or eeeh be gooms though. Welsh rabbits sound good though. Watch out for the yakky dars though, I think they are their version of the local monsters. Maybe OTL will look them up in his guide books. Poor Miss Snowflake, another soggy bot. Mr Brambles looks like he's going all macho. Glad you decided not to have a swim, that water looks so cold and rough. Don't blame Miss Silly Knickers for saying she's off if you go for a swim, she worries about you. Looks like tomorrow will be a busy day, little Arch says rather you than him going to get a hair cut .......... he wasn't impressed when he went and says he's never going again, think it was because he didn't want to go so short nor did he like the bath that he was given, they weren't so careful with him in the bath as we are at home, we make sure his face only gets washed with a flannel, he doesn't like being rubbed and scrubbed, he spends a lot of time getting the right amount of dirt on himself and saves some of his scoff in his beard for laters. So TM and OTL will be busy while you're having a nice time. I'm sure OTL has something tasty for his dinner tonight, you are lucky getting him to share with you. Well done TM for cooking some nice chicken for your scoff today. I'm guessing Arch can dispose of his little box or do you think he should keep it in a safe place just in case she gets the doggie scoff out again? Have a lovely evening. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxx

  2. Hi girlies and Mr B ....So excited to hear you are coming to visit us here in Wales. I have never had much luck chasing Welsh rabbits, my missus eats something called Welsh Rabbit, I mugged her for some once it was 'orrible. We've got lovely beaches up here, some pebbly like yours down there and some sandy .... o'er but that sand does get everywhere on a Woofer :) some TLs up here speak a different language, they speak very fast in a sing songy voice. My missus speaks Welsh when she is being soppy with me. You'll love it up here gilrlies, lots of mountains and lots of sea, we have Ethereals here to ... sometimes they glow all red in the sky....and dragons too, and sheep everywhere that eyeball you. Just remembered ... bring your raincoats cos we have rain here even in the Summer. Pleased to hear Little Archie is back to his normal self .... nothing worse than a windy tum .... licks and hugs to him and all of you down the in depths of Kent from Jasper and his missus Annie up here in Windy Wales xx

  3. We ate Welsh Rabbit last week, not quite like English Rabbit, there's a hint of mustard whereas English has a hint of carrot. You will love Wales, we went to a funny place called Merthyr Tydfill last year, there are so many funny sounding places and some people speak with a really funny voice even stranger than in Scotland. I am glad you didn't go into the water, it looked a bit choppy and must have been very cold but you were able to have a nice run around. Poor little Miss always seems to get wet, maybe she needs two pairs of hiking shoes to make her more stable then she wont need to be rescued so often. Next photo shoot will be of you two with your new hair cuts and maybe you will get a chance to pop into TM's class and have loads of fuss from the Gluers and Glitters. Waiting for tomorrow, xxxx
