Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
You can tell Old Two Legs is back, the sun is shining!
The ferrets were glad to see him yesterday and this morning they were going potty to get out and have a run around the house! Mr Brambles left another 'Calling Card' in the kitchen but OTL cleared it up and gave the area a quick squirt with the 'Doggy Disinfectant' before The Missus found out!
Miss Snowflake said she was getting 'Cabin Fever' being locked up in the cage all day and night!
So, the mornings run on the beach was great, the sun had got up and Miss Snowflake was the first to the Wee'ing Rock'!
It's OK, I've found my Wee'ing Rock! |
OK, can I get back for a cuddle? |
Mr Brambles was still having problems with the steps and asked if there was another way up to the grass path!
Holly said that he should curl up in a ball and we would roll him around up the grass path!
He didn't think that was a good idea!
Someone give me a lift! |
Lunch time we were off down The Forest, it was terribly muddy, I mean, like really Deep Quaggy Mud!
OTL had his wellies on and we god seriously muddy tums!
We spent a lot of the walk walking off the side of the path 'cos the mud was too deep!
Keep to the side and it's OK! |
It's deep back there, go around! |
This is better! |
A TL Squirrel? |
OTL said that it could be a Rock Climber wanting to get some practise in or even a Tree Surgeon getting some tree climbing experience!
Just don't jump! |
OK, Can I Woof Now? |
Yeah! Right!
Back home for a snooze before dinner.
Before any of that though..............all together now!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR ARCHIE BABE,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!
And you thought we would forget!
How old is that now? Three we reckon this end of the world!
Have a super evening and as it's your birthday you can mug anything you like from the TL's dinner plate tonight!
Tomorrow we are out with OTL, he is off to do some work, so we will be guarding his tools for him and woofing off anyone who dares to come close!
Bye bye for now!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles
.
It's good to hear that OTL has taken charge again today. Poor Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles, I bet they were so relieved to get out of Snowy Towers. I had to laugh when I heard Mr Brambles left another little pressie in the kitchen, good job though that OTL cleared it up or TM would have told Mr Brambles off. Lovely pictures, good to see Snowflake on the beach and Mr Brambles climbing the steps, it's a shame though that they are so steep for him. Looks like you had a good time getting muddy down at the forest. What on earth is that TL doing up that tree, doesn't he know trees are for squirrels and birds. I would have woofed at him Daisy. Well what a lovely chorus of happy birthday .......... yep 3 years old today .............. ummmm ............ about the muggings .......... do little woofers in the dog house get muggings? Hope you good girls get muggings tonight, cos a little naughty boy won't be. Love, licks and wags from little (I've been a naughty boy) Arch xxxx
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Archie and what did he do to be in his TM's bad books, that's not how to do it, is it Daisy? Good idea about rolling a fur ball around the grass to avoid the step, I don't see why Mr B thought otherwise! So tomorrow it's off to work you go, tool minding, woe betide anyone who gets near, you are leaving the ferrets to house sit then, watch those little teeth.
ReplyDeleteDid you sing the Hippopotamus Song today, You could have all had a dance
.
The Hippopotamus Song (Flanders and Swan)
A bold hippopotamus was standing one day,
On the banks of the cool Shalimar.
He gazed at the bottom as it peacefully lay
By the light of the evening star.
Away on a hilltop, sat brushing her hair
His fair hippopotamine maid.
The hippopotamus was no ignoramus
And sang her this sweet serenade.
cho: Mud, mud, glorious mud,
Nothing quite like it for cooling the blood.
So follow me, follow, down to the hollow
And there let us wallow in glorious mud.
The fair hippopotama he aimed to entice
From that seat on the hilltop above.
As she hadn't got a ma to give her advice
Came tiptoeing down to her love.
Like thunder the forest reechoed the sound
Of the song that they sang as they met.
His inamorata adjusted her garter
And lifted her voice in duet.
Then more hippopotami began to convene
On the banks of that river so wide.
I wonder now what am I to say of the scene
That ensued by the Shalimar side.
They all dived at once with an ear-splitting "Splosh"
Then rose to the surface again.
A regular army of hippopotami
All singing this haunting refrain.
"Some people think the title of this song is irrelevant, but it's
not irrelevant - it's a Hippopotamus!"
