Sunday Experiments!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Wot a Super Day it has been today. Holly and I were having a chat this morning after Old Two Legs had got up, Holly said that we didn't see Archie Babe yesterday at the Master Class. Seems he was planning to come down but something turned up and he couldn't make it, shame!

Still, maybe next time he can make it down we will have to show him the rabbit ground where we almost got a rabbit this morning! Mind you, when we first arrived it was all misty and OTL was worried that he wouldn't be able to compare the sky with yesterdays pictures!

Never mind, we have plenty of time! The yellow filter will have to wait until tomorrow!

All this mist, could we call it 'Soft Focus'?
So, Dramatic Landscape were out this morning, OTL, not being down hearted, decided to try some 'Street Photography', so, when Bryn's Mum stopped to say 'Hello' OTL he quickly took her picture before she could say no!

What the...............................?
Then he tried a shot of the ferrets and with the Red Filter they look almost like the ones he took using the Infrared Red camera!

IR or Not to IR!
Then, at last, there was a break in the mist and the sun poked its face through the clouds and OTL clicked off this one. By the way, can you spot the doggy?

Even into the sun the Red Filter seems to do its job!
Back home, Brambles headed straight into the kitchen and in no time he was 'Nose Down and Tail Up' stuffing his face full of our biscuits!

After clearing up, OTL settled down to some work on his printer, like trying to unblock the jets on the black section of the printer head. We won't know for a couple of days so, keep your claws crossed!

So far he has got inky claws, inky rags, inky desk top and ink on his nose!

No, don't ask!

Lunchtime arrived and the sun was out, trouble was, so was the mist!

Never mind, OTL kept clicking and after a while we agreed that the Yellow Filter gave us better results and maybe the Red should be used when it is bright sunlight!

Shame about the mist!
It will be fun trying it out in the Summer!

Mmmm, maybe!
Then, after the landscapes he tried some shots of Holly and me, as normal, OTL is making funny noises trying to get us both to look at him. Holly and I were looking everywhere except at OTL!

No, I'm not looking either!
Then it happened, OTL says 'Rabbits!'

Sorry, I couldn't help it, he said 'Rabbits!'
So, tomorrow it will be the Yellow filter and maybe a Graduated ND Filter!

Tonight we don't hold out too much hope of some muggings, The Missus is making up a large cauldron of curry for OTL and it will be stored in containers in the freezer for when TM doesn't fancy cooking and OTL is hungry!

So, it's back to Doggy Scoff and raw carrots for us!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

  1. Daisy, I'm so sorry little Arch couldn't come yesterday, he still has one spot left and then he will be fit to come and join in the fun and games and search for rabbits .......... he has a good idea for finding them, he say's he will follow the trail of rabbit currants and it's sure to lead to a rabbit. The pictures are looking good, I loved the one "shame about the mist" and of course the ones with you and Holly, Holly just couldn't resist a peek when OTL said rabbits, she is funny. I hope TM didn't play with her glue and glitter while she was cooking her cauldron of curry, I think if OTL has ink on his nose then he doesn't need any glitter to make it glow. Shame about there being little pickings in the mugging department tonight, but perhaps you'll snaffle a bit of naan bread dipped in the gravy. Have a good evening, hope your little tums aren't grumbling at the lack of decent scoff. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxx

  2. Sorry that you had to miss your expected visitor, keep on the rabbit search and you can show him some real local views when he comes. OTL has been very colourless today, he even had the black ink to play with, what has he done to his printer or is it one of those "Ink System" thingys. I think a speck or two of glitter would have brightened his day but the curry will finish it with a bang. Not that I am meaning TM will blow it up in the kitchen just that with fire and brimstone OTL will zoom with the spice, just be careful he doesn't hit his head on the ceiling, it has just been decorated. I loved the "shame about the mist" before reading the above comment and also the "not looking either" one. Hope you enjoyed the naan bread dip, have fun tomorrow. xxxx
