It's a Ferret Day but there's No Croaking Yet!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

Well, today Holly and I said that the Ferrets could try their paws at writing the blog but to be honest, they're not too good at typing and in the end I had take over!

It was a bit chilly this morning 'cos the wind was blowing but the mist was still there and there was some Smog forecast for later in the day!

Seems like this Smog stuff was being blown in from Europe, Holly says that they can have it back!

Mr Brambles was out first for a wee and reckons that he sniffed a rabbit in the grass, Holly and I didn't sniff it but you know that ferrets have a very good sense of smell!

I think I sniff a Rabbit!
Miss Snowflake was sniffing around and said that she could sniff fresh rabbit wee!

Mmmmm! There is a trace of Rabbit here!
Down on the beach Brambles got stuck into the sand digging a fresh hole. He was going like the clappers, throwing sand all over the place!

Kicking Sand!
Snowflake sat there watching but said that she really didn't feel like disturbing him if he was having fun!
You carry on dear, I'll just watch!
He was putting his heart into it and sand was everywhere, all over him, Snowflake and even managed to get some over Old Two Legs!

Shifting Sand!

Back home OTL has been working, all day, poor lad! Wot is worse, because he was working, we had to look after ourselves!

Holly spent some time watching the frog spawn but said she couldn't see any movement yet but the spawn was still floating in the same place!

I sat on the other side of the pond listening to see if I could hear any croaking!

No croaking yet!

The missus has gone out for the evening splashing Glue & Glitter about again!

We will see you again tomorrow but OTL will still be working!

You know, he still hasn't unpacked the new printer yet, so you see how important his work is at the moment!

Bye bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

  1. That was some hole that Mr B was digging, what has come over him. Be careful tomorrow with this eclipse of the sun, if it suddenly goes dark just stay still until OTL comes and gets you although knowing you lot I expect you will be back, breakfasted and snoozing before it all happens and the ferrets will be saying "What eclipse". I don't think you should let Snowflake or Mr B loose on the keyboard, their paws are too small and they will get "repetitive strain injury". Hope TM enjoyed her gluing and glitter evening she is bound to be happy because spring is finally about to come. Poor OTL too busy to play with his new printer although I think it is best left in the box, it is less stressful in there. Have a lovely evening and be careful of the sun (that's if the clouds aren't all over it). xxxx

  2. Hmmmm I think Sue is right about letting the ferrets loose on the keyboard, Mr B might be tempted to have a nibble on one of the keys as well. So Mr B had the most fun on the beach this morning by the looks of things. I don't think you'll find any little frogs just yet nor hear any croaking. It takes a bit of time for them to turn in to tadpoles then frogs, and they will be tiny little frogs for a while, so you need to take care of where you walk. When they grow up to big frogs, that's when they'll be the most fun. Poor OTL having to work so hard, I bet he's missing having fun and games with you all. Hope TM had a lovely evening with her glue pot. Hope Holly didn't get kicked off the bed last night. Have a fun day and plenty of snoozes. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxx
