Us here, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
Well, thanks for all the kind wishes for Snowflake. We are pleased to report that she was alive all night and we know that 'cos Old Two Legs kept on getting up to check!
This morning she was awake and eating a little. OTL says her poo is almost back to normal, and that's a good sign!
Trying to get her to take her medicine in another thing!
She has to have her Anti Biotic stuff, by mouth, and as OTL says, 'You'd think I was trying to get her to drink molten lead'!
She wouldn't let him squirt it down her throat, the vet did that yesterday, mixing it with Ferretone made it look like OTL was trying to poison her!
OTL mixed it up in a load of Ferretone but we are sure she hasn't had her full dose for today, so, tomorrow he is going back to the vet for some help!
She was separated from Brambles yesterday and over night, in case of infection but this morning she was desperate to get out of the cage and at one time was trying to bite through the steel bars!
In the end OTL gave in and half way through the morning she went back with Mr Brambles. The pair cuddled up with each other and fell asleep!
Before all that OTL decided that Snowflake should stay in her cage and took Mr Brambles out for his morning walk!
Of course, not having Snowflake to tell him what to do and where to go, he was enjoying the freedom of 'Self Determination'!
OK, you hang on, I'm off for a wee! |
OK, I'm back, off we go! |
This the Life! |
The way he was rolling about you could see he enjoyed a roll as much as us woofers!
This just Greeeeeeat! |
....but, I haven't Finished yet! |
I got a bit worried and got close to OTL but he was too worried about Brambles and was too busy picking him up rather than me!
Pretty quickly, the Two Legs came running up and put the Doodle Dog on his lead, that sorted him out!
That will teach you! |
Both ferrets were comfortable tucked up together and Snowflake was eating and pooing more like normal so OTL is not so worried as last night!
Lunchtime we were out again and down the beach we went.
First we came across a family who had put up a tent to keep the wind out, and also hide the food!
Holly was straight in and sniffing!
Come on, Show us yer Food! |
Hey! Holly! Look! Fishes! |
Before long we were down on the beach again and there, on the beach, without our permission, sat a family of Two Legs, eating lunch!
That looked like a challenge!
We plotted and planned and just when we were ready to go, OTL decided to head off home!
OK, Pincer Movement followed by a chase into the sea? |
As we got closer to the car park, the Hawthorn tree was in full blossom and there, diving into the flowers was a fresh looking butterfly enjoying the sun and the nectar!
First Peacock of the year! |
So, tomorrow, the vet again and who knows what else?
Bye bye for now!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
We're all really pleased to hear that Miss Snowflake is pooing, in fact, we're over the moon to hear it and long may it continue. Now you girls and Mr Brambles have got to do your bit and tell her that she must take her anti biotic or else. Hope the vet can come up with an easy solution for OTL, maybe a long acting injection, maybe the threat of a sharp thing stabbing her in the butt might make her more amenable to OTL's tender ministering's. Mention to OTL that it might be worth him taking a sample of her poo for the vet to check, or as a pressie for looking after her on Sunday. Our claws are still crossed that Miss Snowflake continues her improvement to full good health as soon as. I bet you girls, Mr B and OTL are all really worn out with all this nursing stuff you've been doing this last week. Do you think Miss Snowflake might have got a bit jealous of all the TLC OTL was dishing out to TM and thought she'd remind him of where he should be focusing his attention? Wimmin do get a bit jealous when they think others are getting more attention sometimes. Anyways, good to see you all out and about with lovely pictures today. Doodle dogs need keeping on the lead because they always get into mischief. Mr Brambles was probably collecting a good sniff to take home to his poorly Mrs, bless him, it beats a bunch of weeds any day. Good to hear you all got some good scoff despite all the hard work being done by the nursing staff there. Keep yer tail up and yer poo keep coming Miss Snowflake. Claws crossed here that all bugs, germs etc leave you and yours alone and let you all get some well earned peace and rest and back to normal mischief and mayhem. May your poo pots be forever full. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxx
ReplyDeleteHi there Girlies and Mr B so pleased to hear that Snowflake is pooing again ... it's real headline news, beats all the politics thats for sure. I think Arch's mum is right ... you have all passed your nursing qualifications this week with all the nursing and caring you have been doing. We're pleased to hear your Missus is up and about now if Snowflake would just take her antibiotics to clear away the bugs that upset her .... we would all be happy and we could all uncross our claws. Love and licks and woofs from Jasper and his missus Annie xxx
ReplyDeleteSo I went away and poor little Snowflake has been poorly, so very glad she is making progress and hopefully the vet will have a solution to get those antibiotics in her. She really missed Mr B and he would sooner be with her even if she does boss him about at bit. Love the picture of Mr B rolled on his back, he was loving the rolling around, also the butterfly one was beautiful well spotted OTL, good for him. You were unlucky with the muggings on the beach, some people are so mean even when they see two adorable little doggies who only wanted a smidgen of a morsel. Having to wait until you got home for chicken, shame on them. Paws crossed that Snowflake soon throws off the bug, keep woofing, I will be back to check tomorrow. xxxx Extra x for Miss Snowflake.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Snowflake is on the mend. Good luck at the vets, hope they come up with a solution for the antibiotics x
ReplyDeleteGreat news!
